Bistro Antalya in Schöningen

A real dump. Ordered food at 5 PM, it didn't arrive until 9 PM. On top of that, the tortellini weren't even cooked through, the doner box was completely cold, and so were the noodles. Definitely not recommended.

Finally, a snack bar in Schöningen where you can order and pay online! September 29, 2019: The food was delivered super quickly, within 15 minutes! It was still cold :-( ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 8, 2025: Doner Plate €14.00 with chicken doner meat with French fries Fried vegetables, potatoes, zucchini, carrots, and peppers Why put everything on one plate without dividing it? In the end, it'll just be mush. Please use a divided plate and pack the fries separately. Then it won't look like a pig's trough. Fried vegetables were cold :-(.

The worst pizza I've ever had! As you can see in the picture, I measured the pizza generously... unfortunately, I'm being cheated here because I ordered a 24-inch pizza and received a 20-inch pizza... in the picture, you can see that I even pushed the ruler past the pizza on the left to give the shop another 1-2 cm... so it's even shorter than 21 cm... but I paid for 24 cm. As you can see in the picture, the pizza is barely topping-free, and the picture with the single slice of pizza shows what kind of cheap cheese they use... unfortunately, it was the worst pizza I've ever had, and I've tried pizza everywhere. The gentlemen there were nice, but that doesn't help with my meal. Unfortunately, we won't be ordering there again and will get our pizza from Aris in the future. Little tip: If you order online, you'll pay €1-3 more for each dish, depending on what you order... so if you're going to eat there anyway, order in person.

We ordered via Lieferando. We waited an hour and a half for the food. When we asked, the driver arrived a few minutes later with cold food. For almost 80 euros, I'm more than disappointed today.

I'd say they deserve 10 stars in every way. 100% satisfied and highly recommended!

I pre-ordered online yesterday, paid via PayPal, and picked it up in person on time. My partner and I had the 90g 28cm calzone for €11.00 and the 4 Super Big Kebabs with extra cheese for €10.50 yesterday. The price was okay for the quantity, but the taste was nothing special with low-quality meat, which I found surprising based on the reviews. In my opinion, the perfect kebab doesn't need a store-bought kebab, but a homemade one with freshly baked and toasted flatbread (from a bakery if necessary), homemade sauces, and perhaps grilled vegetables instead of fresh salad, although I don't expect the latter; it would be more of a finishing touch to perfection. My partner then told me that we've had much better calzones in the Helmstedt area. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back unless the quality and concept are significantly improved.

I ate there today. I couldn't quite manage it, though, so I wanted to have the rest packed. They snapped at me and told me to order something smaller if I couldn't manage it (fun fact: the sucuk ring only comes in one size). They said it wasn't good for him tax-wise, because he had to tax it once at 19% and once at 7%. Which, by the way, is complete nonsense, according to my subsequent research. At the time, I just said that I could have said it politely, since I didn't know. And then he also said it was extra work for him to pack the food afterwards. Dude, what? That's your job. Conclusion: Last time I was there. I've never experienced anything so unfriendly.

Ordered via Liebrando. Delivery time stated: 45 minutes. Called the restaurant after almost 2 hours and kindly asked them to cancel the order. Not possible because it has already been prepared. 5 minutes later the driver shows up at the door with COLD food and becomes abusive, like the employee on the phone beforehand. The order would not have been confirmed until 7:08 p.m. (I ordered at 5:36 p.m.). Sorry, if you offer sales via Lieferando, you have to check regularly whether orders are coming in, no matter how busy you are. They said on the phone that they wouldn't sell through Lieferando, which really surprised me. Up to now we've been very good customers and always satisfied. It's all the more incomprehensible to be turned on like that. Both employees were loud, that's not possible. You can have tolerance, but waiting almost 2 hours and then being turned on is not possible! There has been no money back to date. 1 star only because otherwise the review will not be accepted

The Bistro Antalya is a classic kebab shop that impresses above all with its delicious kebab. The flatbread is a real highlight: crispy on the outside, soft and fresh on the inside - perfectly prepared and in no way dry. It forms the ideal base for the other ingredients and makes the kebab a pleasure. The meat corresponds to the typical minced skewer standard. It's hearty, but offers exactly what you expect from a good kebab. Together with the fresh side dishes, the result is a harmonious taste experience that is convincing. In addition to kebab, Bistro Antalya also offers pizza and other dishes that taste okay, but do not stand out from other offerings in Schöningen. If you're looking for good pizza, you probably won't find it here. But for a really good kebab, the bistro is the right place. One disadvantage, however, is the strong smell of a deep fryer, which inevitably settles on your clothes after your visit. Anyone who is sensitive to such smells should keep this in mind. Conclusion: When I go to Bistro Antalya, it's because of the kebab - and it never disappoints! A small compromise, however, is the intense smell of the deep fryer that you take home with you afterwards.

We usually order for delivery or pickup. The food tastes delicious and special requests usually work. We are satisfied :)

It's great in the store. Food was great, but unfortunately we don't recommend ordering!! It may be better if you live close by, but the food in the surrounding area is completely cold. It was different!! And the waiting time is bitter, 2 hours for 3 kebabs!!

The service on site is super friendly and warm and the food is always good. However, the driver is super unfriendly… (Blonde/Glasses) I ordered food with my girlfriend and we were lying in bed on a Sunday and when the doorbell rang I had to quickly put something on because I don't like opening the door in my underwear. The driver had to go up a few stairs to bring the food to the door and when I gave him a tip of €3.10 he said something like "sometimes it's exciting that I get to the door faster than people can open the door." a super unfriendly tone. How can it be that I give someone a tip as a thank you for bringing me my food and then I have to have such sayings thrown at me after I give them the tip?

We often eat pizza there and today we tried the kebab, both simply delicious. Happy to drive the 20min. there for the delicious food and the very friendly staff.

For my birthday we ordered dinner for 12 people, all of them chicken, pasta, rice and salad. So when we looked, unfortunately there was only chicken for six people and the rest was veal. Unfortunately it wasn't noticed until a little later. So when we brought the utensils back, we talked about it and were told that we should have complained about it immediately and then we could have exchanged the meat 🤔 but they didn't care that half of the guests hadn't had any food until the exchange . 😔😳 Well, there wasn't even a real apology or compensation for it, it was our mistake because we didn't check immediately. A huge cheek and the last time you'll spend so much money there. Customer service six people

Order online. After 45 minutes there was no food. After an hour I tried to call 15 times and no one answered. After two hours the supplier is at the door. We were able to take the food with us because we had already cooked it ourselves.

We had lunch here with 4 people. The food was pretty tasty. We ordered 1 small pizza, 1 Dürum, 2 kebabs, While waiting for the food, an extremely smoky and unpleasant smell of coal wafted into the dining room (stove leaking?), so you would be happy to sit outside instead. According to the notice on the toilet door, you have to pay an extra €1 for using the toilet. Staff is friendly.

Ordered kebab recently. Had metal in the food. The metal came from the protective grate of the skewer. Reported directly to the veterinary office. 1 day later the stall there was bare. Ordered fries there today out of desperation. 4& a large fries with ketchup and mayo. What arrived? Fries with so little ketchup and mayo. I called there and asked if it was possible to get a little more. They sent someone out and the delivery person arrived with less than 50g of mayo and ketchup for €2. I sent him away. The supplier then said I should never order anything there again. A few minutes later the boss called me and called me whatever I could think of and was immediately insulting. I didn't even have the chance to comment on it! HANDS OFF!

pizza is 15cm tall instead of 20cm.

I've now ordered it 3 times with extra cheese, it was ignored each time. You don't just order extra cheese, you also pay for it! It's done for me, I'll order somewhere else.

Very good snack bar, one of the few in Schöningen where you don't end up completely impoverished if you order for three people. The food is always warm and comes exactly as ordered! The pasta dishes are particularly delicious :-)

Essen schmeckt perfekt, habe letztens bestellt lieferando sagt 40m bestell dauer essen ist aber nach 20m schon da also lieferung PERFEKT, wurde aber mal dumm angemacht weil ich mich über eine falsche bestellung beschwert habe er sagte ich solle deutlicher sprechen und so ( ich war mit 3 weiteren leuten im laden sie alle haben gehört was ich bestellt habe ausser er merkwürdig) aber meistens sind alle da nett (meistens)

Mega Döner , also mehr kann man gar nicht sagen , ich fahre seit über 14 Jahren extra 30 min hin und zurück , nur um den besten Döner zu essen , es gibt keinen vergleichbaren Döner , und ich komme extrem viel in Deutschland rum , aber diese Art von Soßen gibt es sonst nirgends. Ich hoffe ihr macht noch lange weiter . Grüße Thomas

Nicht so wie Bestellt geliefert bekommen. Leider ohne Sauce und ohne Salat bestellt und das volle Paket bekommen . Qualität passt aber.

Über den Feiertag bestellt und absolut alles was wir bestellten war so unfassbar lecker. Einiges lagerten wir noch im Kühlschrank, es schmeckte nach einem Tag immer noch sehr gut! Dabei sind wir alle so pingelig :D P.s. nur der Junior meinte einzig die Currywurst braucht noch Übung 🙈 Danke für das sehr leckere große Menü ❤️

Die Curry und die Kräutersauce von hier sind die besten unter allen.

Döner war ok. Nichts besonderes. Personal war alerdings unfreundlich, alles wie am Fließband. Sollten sich vielleicht bei anderen hier in Schöningen was abgucken. Nicht böse gemeint aber ist so. Werde nicht wieder hin gehen.

Leider gibt es nur vorgefertigte Waren mit entsprechenden Zusatzstoffen. Keine frischen Eigenkreationen ausser dem Salat.

Durchschnittlicher Imbiss , essen kommt schnell und ist ok . Portionen völlig ok. Wenn viel los ist wird man bei telefonischen Bestellungen auf die Karte verwiesen also keine Sonderwünsche möglich. Nicht so schön ist der Geruch nach verlassen des Lokals riecht man wie ne Friteuse. Mfg

Wer gerne türkisch isst, wird hier gut bedient. Ambiente ist eher rustikal, dabei sauber und gut frequentiert. Es besteht ein Bringdienst (noch nie ausprobiert) und man kann sich sein Essen auch selbst abholen - das funktioniert selbst dann fix, wenn man nicht vorher telefonisch bestellt hat. Personal ist freundlich, Service am Tisch fix und man kann auch durchaus Sonderwünsche äußern, z.B. ohne Zwiebeln, mehr Sauce etc., halt ggf. gegen Aufpreis, aber kein Nepp. Kleine Portionen sind möglich, die "normalen" sättigen gut. Größere Gruppen sollten besser reservieren, Restaurant ist beliebt.
