Great store and worth the price

Unexpectedly good schnitzel with really good quality meat. The salad and side dishes were equally delicious, and the portions were really generous. Unfortunately, the ambiance inside wasn't that appealing to us; it was a bit chaotic and disorganized. A pile of papers was lying at the next table (which we had our entire stay; it wasn't a bill) and it just looked unsightly. The bar also seemed a bit chaotic. The service was very friendly and attentive. We would come again. Best regards

This place is awesome! Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. The best Spaghetti Bolognaise we ever had in Germany and this is coming from a French person 😂 We highly recommend you visit!

Top quality price bistro, the service is top notch and the food is super delicious, not too salty, I really recommend the seasonal dishes as well as the Bolognese pasta, a treat ☺️, the waiters are super friendly

When we arrived at 5 p.m., they said the cook wasn't there yet and there was no food. She finally arrived at 5:15 p.m. Okay, that can happen, we thought. For starters, we ordered grilled pepperoni. A plate of pepperoni from the pan arrived, with no garlic on it, but with balsamic vinegar—a strange combination. The bread was forgotten; when we were finished, three slices of baguette arrived for four people. We waited 45 minutes for the main course. Then my burnt chicken breast arrived with burnt fried potatoes in an oil bath (see pictures). I don't think we'll be coming back here again; my mother had imagined her 70th birthday differently.

The menu is appealing, prices are reasonable... but the waiters' motivation was overshadowed by the poor quality of the food. The schnitzel was very small, very oily, and even burnt. The salad was inedible (the salad dressing was obviously no longer good, and the vegetables didn't look particularly fresh either). It's a shame, we probably caught a particularly bad day. Is the chef sick or on vacation? Who knows, unfortunately, we won't dare go back.

On Monday evening, we managed to get a cozy outdoor spot. We received friendly service, the food arrived quickly, and it was delicious. Excellent value for money. It was a lovely evening. If we ever come back to Lampertheim, we'll definitely stop at the Römer again.

I worked in Lampertheim for seven months and went to the bistro again and again. The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect. Everything I ate was truly delicious, from the salad to the pizza to the meat dishes! You can really feel the owner's touch here; he was always there to help! Highly recommended!

Compared to previous experiences, this bistro has deteriorated 500%. Cold food and cheap schnitzel. I can get better options elsewhere for the same price. So, this bistro really isn't even worth a star.

If I had to describe the visit in one word: disappointment. The ambiance was okay. An interior with the look of an old smoking bar and very comfortable chairs outside – the restaurant can't do much about the beautiful surroundings of Lampertheim. The service was initially very friendly and courteous. Our order (food and drinks together) was taken after just five minutes, and we were served with the latter shortly thereafter. At this point, however, any experience I would consider positive ends. It quickly became objectively clear: The manageable operation was not handled in an organized manner. Several times, orders were carried outside, delivered to several tables that hadn't ordered them, and quickly brought back inside. There was also no information about waiting times at any time. After just over an hour, we were served a halfway decent starter, but we were divided over whether we would order it (bruschetta) again – but tastes differ. Where all taste ends, even for hardcore food truck connoisseurs, is the main course. A pasta drenched in oil, the likes of which I've never seen before and hope never to see again, followed by a mediocre pizza overloaded with mozzarella. And all this after a 1.5 hour wait. After another 15 minutes, we were finally allowed(?) to pay – when it became clear that I wasn't willing to tip, the scanner was slammed down on the counter. Once and never again.

The pizza took 1 ½ hours and didn't taste good Unfortunately, the glass wasn't clean either and the boss himself was very rude, looked like he had worked all night and was only on his cell phone until someone came for the glass, he just put the contents in a new glass Unfortunately not like it used to be I thought it wasn't his day to come back and there was hardly anything there for the drinks and very rudely I left without ordering anything My mother wanted to book a table in advance and was very angry, she was insulted in the highest tones I hope you have different experiences there

With a valid gourmet block, we wanted to eat there on November 30th, 2024. Since it is the Christmas market, the voucher is not valid. It was lunchtime and nothing was going on. This condition is not noted in the Schlemmerblock, but still no accommodation, which is a shame. We then went to eat at another very good restaurant.

Awesome pub, good food at fair prices, great atmosphere, you immediately feel at home there. The owner is a great guy, we've eaten there three days in a row. If I'm ever in the area again, this is my place. Alex from Gera. 👍🍻

Went on a bike ride today in beautiful sunshine. Great, very warm October t-shirt weather. On the way we stopped at the Bistro am Römer in Lampertheim and had a delicious lunch with quiet music playing from the loudspeakers. German/Italian cuisine...pizza, pasta, schnitzel... With Schlemmerblock, no problem. Cooked cheese schnitzel with fried potatoes and side salad. Portions very generous! Plus a well-chilled wheat and water. Absolutely moderate prices! Beautiful view of the Protestant cathedral church and the inviting forecourt to relax. Service very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back. Thank you!

The pizza was surprisingly good, funghi with lots of fresh mushrooms. The lady behind the counter was surprisingly unfriendly.

Despite the asparagus festival, I've never experienced rocket-fast service. Food was ok.

Apart from a few little things, it's ok. At breakfast the normal rolls were unfortunately tough and sticky, but the grain rolls were great. Sausage, tomatoes and mozzarella were good, unfortunately the salmon had a slightly strange taste. Nevertheless, it is recommended, very nice staff.

We went to the Bistro am Römer for the breakfast buffet on Mother's Day. The selection at the buffet was extremely diverse and visually beautifully presented. From cheese to sausage, fish and antipasti, freshly prepared egg dishes and delicious baked goods, there was everything your heart could desire. We were absolutely convinced by the freshness and quality. If a plate in the buffet was "emptied", it was immediately refilled. The price/performance ratio was also really good here. Another big compliment to the service: although the bistro's terrace was full to the last seat first thing in the morning, the staff "managed" everything quickly and friendly. Respect!! We will definitely come back!!!

We were there with the Schlemmerblock. We were immediately greeted in a friendly manner and given the reserved table. In summer you can sit outside opposite the cathedral. The interior is a bit “older” and resembles a pub, which makes the ambience really pleasant. We felt very comfortable and had a delicious meal. Price-performance ratio is consistent. The Pina Colada was also very tasty 😋 we'll be back 👌

Cool bistro and very good food. Definitely worth a visit. Always happy to go there. Ate asparagus today. Lonely peak. Highly recommended. You can see what makes a 4 star chef.

I'm speechless, I haven't eaten so well and beautifully in a long time. The service was super friendly and accommodating! I don't think I've ever eaten such delicious pizza, wow! So when you're there, be sure to order a pizza. Really outstanding! So it was a very successful evening, gladly again!

Der Chef ist ein mega Typ und kocht sogar selber und das mit Erfolg. Essen und Service ist spitze … kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. 👍🏼

Waren an Muttertag bei dem angeworbenen Frühstücksbuffet. Für den Preis von 19,90 inklusive Heißgetränk und O-Saft, haben wir schon etwas erwartet. Es war relativ in Ordnung , aber für den Preis hätte ich mir selbst tatsächlich ein reichhaltiges und exklusives Frühstück zubereiten können. Das Tomate - Mozzarella war nicht angemacht, die Streichwurst aus kleinen in Plastik verpackten Rollen, der Käse und die Wurst an sich etwas lieblos aufgetischt. Brötchen, Kuchen Croissant regional vom Bäcker - super-. Die Reservierungen waren . Die Bedienung sichtlich überfordert mit der Menschenmasse. Wie haben lange auf unsere Getränke gewartet. Für den Preis habe ich einfach etwas exklusives erwartet.... Sehr schade, denn so haben wir immer gute Erfahrungen gemacht.

Würde 10 Sterne geben fürs Essen. Es war überragend lecker echt wahnsinnig hätte nicht gedacht wurde positiv überrascht. Chef kocht selbst und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Schnitzel werden frisch geklopft. Dauert etwas aber nicht ewig aber was gut ist dauert eben ein wenig 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

2 Pizzen geholt, Tonno und Mista, erstes Mal von dort, beide sehr lecker und knusprig. Freundlicher Service. Die Leute im Lokal sahen alle sehr zufrieden aus. Gute Atmosphäre. Gerne wieder.

Das Café Bistro am Römmer in Lampertheim wollten wir eigentlich Ende Januar einmal aufsuchen um dort ein paar der Granatspliter zu probieren, die uns von Freunde empfohlen worden sind. Leider hat das Café sonntags geschlossen und so wurde unser Ausflug dorthin leider nichts. Letzte Woche sind wir dann allerdings doch in den Genuss gekommen die wirklich riesigen Granatspliter zu probieren. Man kann dort auch welche zum mitnehmen kaufen und so haben wir uns kurzerhand welche nach Hause geholt. Zum Café an sich kann ich daher nichts sagen, aber zu den Granatsplitern: Seeeeehr groß (ich konnte drei Mal davon essen) und unglaublich lecker. Sie sind nicht zu süß und man kann die dezente Note an Rum die vorhanden ist gut herausschmecken. Wer gerne Granatsplitter isst und gerne einmal richtig gute essen möchte der sollte unbedingt im Café Bistro am Römer in Lampertheim welche essen oder sich welche für zuhause besorgen.

Die Bedingungen sind super freundlich. Die Inneneinrichtung erinnert mich ein wenig an einen gemütlichen, heimischen Pub. Das Essen ist ok. Es gibt Gerichte die gut sind andere sind mal weniger gut. Was auch sehr schön ist mit grün Fläche und dem Dom direkt davor.

Gehe gerne dorthin, kann man gerade einen tollen Glühwein trinken
