The two of us, on a short break in Marbach, took a quick stroll on our first evening and stumbled upon the restaurant Am Kachelofen by chance. You feel immediately welcome upon entering and are warmly greeted by the proprietor! The menu is small and honest. The food is absolutely delicious, and so is the wine! The service is homely! Fantastic service, a friendly owner, and truly delicious food! We held our Christmas party at Adela's for the second time, and it was great as always!

So, let's start with the dining area. It's very cozy and decorated appropriately for the season. The decor is just right and not overdone, so you don't feel overwhelmed. The food is very good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and readily accepts any requests for changes. The portions are beautifully presented, and the meat is incredibly juicy and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it.

We were here for a party with 12 people. The menu offered a nice selection. Everyone received their food at the same time, it was really delicious, and the service was very good. We'd gladly come back.
