The two of us, on a short break in Marbach, took a quick stroll on our first evening and stumbled upon the restaurant Am Kachelofen by chance. You feel immediately welcome upon entering and are warmly greeted by the proprietor! The menu is small and honest. The food is absolutely delicious, and so is the wine! The service is homely! Friendly service and good food. We went there for our company Christmas dinner and were very satisfied.

So, let's start with the dining area. It's very cozy and decorated appropriately for the season. The decor is just right and not overdone, so you don't feel overwhelmed. The food is very good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and readily accepts any requests for changes. The portions are beautifully presented, and the meat is incredibly juicy and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it.

Good, plentiful food, great burger variations, Swabian menu, friendly and efficient service, reasonable prices, a sports club atmosphere with good facilities, several private rooms of varying sizes, and plenty of parking.

We had a grill platter for 2 people and were very satisfied 😊 our daughter also ate with us and we still had a good portion left over for the next day.
