Bistro 19 in Hamburg

A must-visit after a round for every golfer. A great terrace with good food. The quality of the food is top-notch. Sometimes the service could be more attentive and faster. But I always enjoy being here, and there's always something going on. The interior is also very well-kept and cozy. Highly recommended

The food is excellent and deserves full marks. However, the young lady who served us that evening (August 7, 2025) had a lot of room for improvement. We weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink or dessert. In fact, we were practically ignored. To pay, we had to get up and pay at the counter. It's a shame, because the food here is really good.

A lovely spot to sit overlooking the golf course and ponds. A pleasant atmosphere. Excellent food, also for vegetarians, such as the lentil soup, the delicious snacks (a delicious tomato tapenade), and a fantastic poke bowl with crispy tofu.

A wonderful place to relax on the terrace or inside, and enjoy delicious food with friends and/or family. It's great that it's open to the public! Ample parking, including a garage!

I often eat at Bistro19. So far, I've always enjoyed the food. They have a regular menu and daily specials. On the regular menu, the "Cold Roast Beef with Fried Potatoes" is highly recommended (Update April 2025: Discontinued. It's now only sometimes on the lunch menu – and more expensive). The beef has always been incredibly tender (and perfectly cooked), and the fried potatoes flavorful and delicious. The prices are reasonable. They also offer a daily special with various dishes. You can also get unlimited water (€7 – Update April 2025: Discontinued). The photo shows a daily special (Käsespätzle/€14). I assume it was freshly prepared. It certainly tasted like it, was tasty, and nicely presented. And a huge portion... phew! The staff is consistently friendly and attentive. The staff is always friendly and attentive. ... The chairs and cushions are a bit firm and could be more comfortable (at least in the outdoor area). The seat cushions are more like towels. You have a lovely view of the expansive grounds and can watch the golfers. It's quite calming. A walk afterward is also wonderful. However, on some days you can hear airplane noise; that's just the way it is when there's an airport nearby. There's also a bus stop right next to the hotel. I only use the parking lot, which is usually quite full. It's (now) subject to a fee. Since there are no barriers, you have to remember to "check out" at the machine. Otherwise, it gets expensive, and you'll be charged the daily rate. It's always worth checking the "Culinary Calendar" on the website. It features seasonal and very appealing food events. Great BBQs in the summer and cozy indoor events in the fall.

Gigantic pizza with Parma ham! Huge, generous, delicious, fresh – my expectations were exceeded in every way. For that price, you get much less on your plate at less attractive locations. It's best to order dessert only when you're sure you can still fit it in. 😉 Atmosphere: It's just a bistro. But it's all about the food.

Really good food. We ate here three times. We'll be posting a review of the attached hotel soon. The bistro is definitely very good. The ambiance could be cooler, and the TVs in the room could be quieter, but everything was fine.

The terrace on the golf course and the view at sunset are unbeatable, you have to say. It gets one star for that. My husband's meal was also okay, which is why it gets the second star. I usually only write positive reviews, but I have to make an exception here. This bistro is simply not worthy of this otherwise truly great hotel. The service was really bad. Waiters were running around everywhere, but we still had to wait forever for the menu, which only came after we asked. The table was only wiped upon request, even though it was obviously dirty. Generally, the tables weren't wiped after the guests left. Dishes were still lying around everywhere on the tables. Our dishes weren't cleared away before we left, even though we sat there for quite a while after eating. The bowl was really bad; any amateur cook could do better. The avocado and eggplant were already overcooked, the quinoa was dry and lumpy. The rest was edible, but tasteless. I have never had such bad food in a restaurant and paid so much money for it.

We're staying at the hotel again this weekend and ate here for the first time tonight. The menu is appealing and varied. The portions are generous, the food is very good, and the waiters were both very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the food here, and the prices are by no means excessive (although, as has already been mentioned here).

Unfortunately, the prices for a golf course restaurant are completely exorbitant. This might be acceptable for a hotel restaurant. However, a currywurst for €13.50 or a Caesar salad with chicken for almost €20 is simply far too expensive, especially since there are no cheaper options.

Always received perfect service. Daily menu attractive. You are allowed to smoke outside. Also cigar.

For a restaurant for golf athletes and young people, the prices are too high compared to what is offered.

Delicious homemade cake and delicious currywurst. When the temperatures are still a little cooler, but still on the beautiful terrace. Happy to come back!
