Bistro 19 in Hamburg

The food is excellent and deserves full marks. However, the young lady who served us that evening (August 7, 2025) had a lot of room for improvement. We weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink or dessert. In fact, we were practically ignored. To pay, we had to get up and pay at the counter. It's a shame, because the food here is really good.

A lovely spot to sit overlooking the golf course and ponds. A pleasant atmosphere. Excellent food, also for vegetarians, such as the lentil soup, the delicious snacks (a delicious tomato tapenade), and a fantastic poke bowl with crispy tofu.

A wonderful place to relax on the terrace or inside, enjoying a delicious meal with friends and/or family. It's great that it's open to the public! Plenty of parking, including a garage!

I often eat there at Bistro19. So far I've always enjoyed the food. There is a fixed menu and daily specials. The “cold roast beef with fried potatoes” is recommended on the fixed menu (Update April 2025: deleted. It is now only occasionally on the lunch menu - and more expensive;). The beef has always been super tender (and well-tempered) and the fried potatoes have been spicy and delicious. Reasonably priced. There is also a daily special with various dishes. You can also use a water flat rate (7 euros - Update April 2025: deleted). The photo shows a meal of the day (cheese spaetzle/14,-). I assume it was freshly prepared. In any case, it tasted that way, was tasty and nicely decorated. And a huge portion....ufff... The staff is consistently friendly and attentive. The chairs and cushions are a bit firm and could be a bit more comfortable (at least in the outdoor area). The seat cushions are more of a towel. You have a beautiful view of a spacious facility and can watch the golfers. Somehow calming. You can also go for a walk afterwards. However, on some days aircraft noise can be heard; That's just the way it is when there's an airport nearby. There's also a bus station right next to the hotel. However, I only use the parking lot, which is usually quite full. This is (now) chargeable. Since there are no barriers, you have to remember to "check out" at the machine. Otherwise it will be expensive and the daily rate will be due. It's always worth taking a look at the "culinary calendar" on the homepage. Seasonal and very nice dining events are offered there. Great BBQs in the summer and cozy indoor dates in the fall.

Gigantic pizza with Parma ham! Huge, sumptuous, delicious, fresh – my expectations were exceeded in every way. For the price you get a lot less on your plate in less beautiful locations. It's better to only order dessert when it's clear that it still fits.😉 Ambiance: It's just a bistro. But it depends on the food.

Really good food. We ate here three times. We'll be posting a review of the attached hotel soon. The bistro is definitely very good. The ambiance could be cooler, and the TVs in the room could be quieter, but everything was fine.

It has to be said that the terrace on the golf course and the view at sunset cannot be beaten. There is a star for that. My husband's food was also ok, that's why we get the second star. I actually only write positive reviews, but I have to make an exception here. This bistro is simply not worthy of the otherwise really great hotel. The service was really bad. There were waiters running around everywhere, but we still had to wait forever for the menu, which was only brought at some point when asked. The table was only wiped down when asked, even though it was obviously dirty. Generally the tables were not wiped down after guests left. There were dishes all over the tables. Our dishes weren't cleared away before we left, even though we sat there for quite a while after our meal. The bowl was really not good, every amateur cook can do better. The avocado and eggplant were already gone, the quinoa was dry and lumpy. The rest is edible but tasteless. I have never had such a bad meal in a restaurant and paid so much money for it.

We are guests at the hotel again this weekend and had dinner here for the first time this evening. There is an attractive and varied menu. The portions are large, the food is very good and the waitresses were both very friendly and on the ball. We really enjoyed our meal here and the prices are by no means too high (as has already been written here).

Unfortunately, the prices are completely exorbitant for a golf restaurant. They might be acceptable for a hotel restaurant. However, a currywurst for €13.50 or a Caesar salad with chicken for almost €20 is simply far too expensive, especially since there's no selection of cheaper dishes.

Always received perfect service. Daily menu attractive. You are allowed to smoke outside. Also cigar.

For a restaurant for golf athletes and young people, the prices are too high compared to what is offered.

Delicious homemade cake and delicious currywurst. When the temperatures are still a little cooler, but still on the beautiful terrace. Happy to come back!
