I love steak the English way...meaning really rare, and mine was really delicious (to my taste), tender as butter. The garlic fries with Parmesan were excellent, but the highlight was the Aperol parfait...a poem!

We've been here several times for dinner, usually when the weather's nice and you can sit outside. We really like it here. ☺ The quality of the dishes is always excellent – ​​everything is fresh and appetizingly presented. Our tip for veggies: Vegetarian fajita wrap with jalapenos ==> incredibly delicious, a bit spicy, and simply "yummy." The dessert is also highly recommended – we treat ourselves to it every now and then. :-) The ambiance is American diner style – coolly done – has something special and isn't your average meal. The service has always been very friendly, quick, and attentive – we always tip – thank you for your hospitality! ♥

Burgers, steaks, and cocktails in 1950s style. In Türkheim, it feels like Elvis is about to pull up in a Cadillac. A diner like Route 66 in the Allgäu region. Juicy burgers, whiskey in your glass, and James Dean in your spirit. Where else would be industrial, here you'll find the American Dream: steaks, drinks, and a touch of Marilyn Monroe.

I've been a happy guest here for several years. Sometimes with the whole family, or just for coffee on my own. The food is always very good. Anyone who enjoys the American way of life will get their money's worth here. The perfect background music is included. The service is always friendly and attentive. The ambiance is incomparable. Rather unassuming from the outside, but top-notch inside. Typical American style from the 50s and 60s. Next door is the perfect blacksmith shop for my Harley, Bird's Motorcycles GmbH. What more could you want? 👍

A great insider tip we got from a fellow camper in Italy. The diner has a manageable selection, so there should be something for everyone. It's a dream – it stands out from other restaurants not only in terms of ambiance but also in terms of excellent service and delicious food and drinks. I would recommend it to anyone in the area. Great American diner! The food is amazing, the cocktails are fantastic, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the ambiance is perfect, the bar is a dream, and last but not least: the value for money is perfect! We've been coming back for years, with family, friends, or just the two of us.

I found a sad little gherkin in my gin and tonic. It stared blankly into the distance, as if aware of the transience of life – and shortly thereafter began smoking cigarettes. Whether out of protest or existential despair remains unclear. What I can say with absolute certainty, however, is that the food was outstanding. Fresh, lovingly prepared, and flavorful. Every bite was a little feast. The service was friendly, the ambiance charming – somewhere between an urban diner and a place where gherkins can indulge in their inner monologue. I'll be back. Maybe to treat the gherkin to a coffee. Maybe simply because of the magnificent cuisine. 5/5 ⭐ – despite, or perhaps because of, the small, smoky melancholy in the glass.

As always...good value for money...fast and friendly service...reservations highly recommended...parking is always available...always worth a visit...

11/2024 This time I had the Philadelphia Steak Burger. It was different than expected, but good. Service was very friendly and good, as always. 2023 Very tasty burgers and super nice and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

Cool location with nice and friendly service.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case twice. The burger was only lukewarm, the bun was rubbery, and the patty was far too compact and dry. Almost €50 for two people, a waste of money.

We've been there twice so far and are happy to make the 40-minute drive. You can tell they put a lot of heart and soul into their creation. You immediately feel at home in the classic diner atmosphere, and the food is truly delicious. I highly recommend it.

We go to the diner regularly, and it's always great. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the portions are generous. You can get delicious homemade burgers for relatively little money. Even when the place is busy, we've never waited longer than 20-30 minutes for our food. Highly recommended.

The diner now has a vintage 2000s-meets-60s feel. The service was super attentive, the potato wedges were so crispy, the lemonade was very refreshing, and the milkshakes were delicious. Our meat-eating friends were very happy with their burgers. But: For all the vegans, they only serve fries here, and for all the vegetarians, the veggieburger is diced vegetables in a cheese sauce—I've never seen anything like it. Please, dear diner team, give us a vegan/vegetarian classic burger. A frozen substitute in a regular hamburger with sauce. We'd love to come back, but unfortunately, half of our group can't find a burger here.

Anyone who appreciates an authentic, slightly romanticized American ambience is in good hands here. In the USA, not all diners are so well equipped. The portions are “American-sized” (think big), worth the price alone and really tasty. This shows why Americans love eating burgers (and Tex-Mex food) so much. If you like cheap meat waste, you can go to fast food. Bird's Diner doesn't show US fast food but lets you experience another culture.

Nice atmosphere and the burgers themselves are ok, but it can't be that there aren't any sauces like mayo, ketchup, burgers and steak sauce at the table. This is an absolute must in an American burger restaurant. I've never seen anything like this anywhere. There are clearly savings there. If you sit upstairs it can take a while until the second beer comes. The waitress often doesn't run up the stairs because of a repeat order.

Was there on the weekend and the food was absolutely top notch. After ordering drinks and food, the drinks were brought immediately and the food was there 10 minutes later. Salad and main course beautifully presented on the plate. Salad was fresh and delicious. The main course was an enchilada. I left the restaurant really excited. I can only warmly recommend it.

We were there last Friday and wanted to celebrate our 10th anniversary with a good meal. I had never eaten such a delicious burger before. My partner's steak was also flawless and tender as butter. The homemade lemonade is really recommended. However, we were disappointed with our "table". Storage room charm probably sums it up best. The furthest corner on the upper floor even had to be lit with a table lamp. The view of the street was also very modest (dark). Unfortunately, you didn't really notice what was going on in the restaurant, which was a shame. As I said, the food absolutely deserves 5 stars, as does the service, but our place was definitely in need of improvement. Maybe we'll have better luck next time we visit.

The best US food headquarters in the form of a diner like you see in the movies. The quality of the food is incredibly high, the dishes are lovingly prepared, the ambience and decoration are breathtaking and the staff feels like they are from another planet, because you not only get professional service but also entertainment, fun, humor, lots of laughter and absolutely great service . We were here for the first time today based on a recommendation. And were impressed. The restaurant is very stylishly decorated. The music in the background was very well chosen. The waitresses were friendly and on the ball, and the food didn't take long to arrive. The portions were a pleasant size and reasonably priced for today's times. There were four of us, 4 main courses, 3 side dishes, 2 desserts and 2-3 drinks each for 140€ - absolutely TOP. P.S. Be sure to try the Homemade Lemonades. The only thing that marred this pleasant meal was the back of the bench, which was probably a little loose and the person sitting next to us was a huge a**hole who kept bumping into it.

Fries were good, coleslaw VERY good. The dressing on the Thousands Islands Burger was far too sweet for me, but I like my homemade one much better. The burger bun was clearly too hard and somehow tasted bland. It's a shame because the burger patty was absolutely great! Despite being full to capacity, the food came very quickly, about 15 minutes. The waitresses were on point. Ambience very nice. You can definitely go there again (and try another burger).

Let's start by saying it's been a long time since I went to this place, my last time was in 2015, it had only been open for a few years and the closing day was Monday, I think, but now it opens from Thursday to Sunday. I'm disappointed by the food, starting from the chips that aren't fried, but dry in the airfrei, horrible, the El Paso sandwich, even the one as dry as sand, disappointed to the max.... the good sides are the beer, the service and the location... for the rest there is a lot to improve, a wider menu, the snizzel no longer exist..it's a shame....unfortunately I don't recommend it....

Delicious food at a fair price in a great ambience

So I was there again after many years and I can say it was still phenomenal! Food tasted fantastic, generous portion, lovingly prepared, great value for money. And on top of that, the staff is also very friendly and competent! We'll definitely go back ☺️

Five of us went to the restaurant yesterday and were unfortunately disappointed. The burger bun was dry and hard. The service didn't have its best day either, unfortunately. We probably won't go there again.

Great location, super nice and fast service, great cocktails and spirits. This is how I imagine a diner. The burgers in general could have been a little juicier. The prices are unbeatably cheap, so you can accept that without complaining. We liked it so much that we didn't want to leave with our little bachelorette party. We'll be back.

One of the best American style diners I've been to, it was awesome to sit outside! The hot wings were delicious and they made them as insanely spicy as I liked, the milkshakes were beautiful and made from excellent quality ice cream. I hope to come back with some friends from England and organise a car meet up in the future here!

Everything was perfectly fine! We went to the Bird's Diner spontaneous while driving home. Location: The diner is fashioned like an american sports bar and you can sit and eat on two floors. Authentic items are placed all over the location - which is cool. The music they played also got that kind you will expect from such a restaurant. Staff: The staff was very friendly and patient when we had some extra questions about the ingredients. We just had to wait about ten or fifteen minutes for our order. Menu: The menu offers a lot of different meals. Our meals (Hot Chili Burger and Florida Salad) were a very good experience. Prices: The prices are fair and absolutely worth it. Specials: The diner offers a huge selection of different Gins and Whiskeys.
