Biko Restaurant & Café UG in Ratingen

Right in the center of Ratingen, a small Turkish restaurant that fulfills every wish. It was wonderful and, above all, delicious.

Simply delicious... The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the food was very varied, always a little different from the last time.

We visited Biko's very spontaneously, and my wife and I have to say... the breakfast was super delicious for €18.50 per person, including a large cayenne pepper or coffee. We really enjoyed the breakfast. We also ordered a bottle of Acqua Morelli (water). It's one of the best waters I've ever had! A great selection of food. We'd love to come back.

Incredibly delicious, the best Turkish food I've ever had. A very pleasant atmosphere, charming service, a very large but clear selection of hot and cold dishes, a wine list, and excellent value for money, reflecting the excellent quality. We'll definitely be back soon.

The Turkish breakfast is truly special and delicious. I felt the one-hour wait was too long, especially since we had a reservation. The noise level was OK, but it was difficult to have a conversation while coffee was being prepared.

I had made a reservation for a Friday evening by phone, and even on the phone, I was impressed by the friendliness. We were there with a group of four and had a lovely table by the window. We ordered some appetizers to share. Everything was so delicious and plentiful that I was briefly worried I wouldn't be able to finish the main course. Luckily, it took a while for the main course to arrive, as there had been a slight confusion regarding the ordered dishes, but this wasn't a problem and was resolved immediately. The eggplant dish did not disappoint. It was a dream, and even though I was already quite full, I just had to eat it all. It was so delicious. The service was also consistently friendly. We had a really lovely evening here and will definitely be back. Card payments were accepted.

Unfriendly Overwhelmed Too expensive for what you get! A shame

This was my second time here. The first time was good, but this time it was a flop. The staff is overwhelmed. For the price of the dishes, there's no signature starter on weekends (they explained that there was limited time on the weekend, but at around 3:30 p.m. there were only 10-12 guests). When asked, there were no logical explanations. The signature starter was included on my first visit during the week. Couscous was confused with bulgur. Grilled vegetables were halved, spicy green pepper and half a tomato (I had chicken skewers). The staff were completely inattentive and unsympathetic. What you get is delicious in itself. Separate payment isn't possible at the table. (?) Then you have to go to the cash register. Terrible. Biko Restaurant is not recommended. I was there last time!

We went to Biko in Ratingen for dinner with 11 friends and were absolutely thrilled. The ambiance is very stylish and inviting; we immediately felt at home. The food – especially the fish dishes – was excellent, fresh, and prepared with love. We would especially like to highlight the attentive and extremely friendly service. A nice little place with a few tables outside. The interior is very cozy and beautifully designed. The restrooms are very clean and have terry towels. The starter was delicious, fluffy bread with dip and bean salad. We were there with a larger group. All the dishes looked delicious, especially the fish dishes. I had the chicken stir-fry with vegetables and rice. It was very tasty. The portions were almost impossible to finish. The restaurant is mid-range in price. The service staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for Turkish or Mediterranean cuisine. You can also enjoy a Turkish breakfast here.

A piece of Anatolia in the middle of Ratingen! The food is authentic and incredibly delicious - you can taste the love and tradition in every dish. The shaded places were all occupied and so she got up and offered us her table directly, where she took her break. This has already shown that the focus here is really on the customer 👍🏼 lived service and so it continued. The service was also very warm, quick and professional. The menu offers something for every taste and we really enjoyed our selection (starter variation, salad with lamb & chicken pan). The ambience is bright and friendly and the terrace offers both sun and shade. All in all a great location, thank you for the lovely & delicious evening, we'll be back 😃

I invited 19 people to breakfast at Biko today for my birthday. It was a very good, rich and very attractively prepared breakfast and there was something for everyone. Went there for the first time today with a larger group for a really delicious brunch: The “Turkish breakfast” was a successful experience for all of us. Especially the scrambled eggs with fresh peppers, the warm vegetables with eggplant and the spicy sucuk, the crispy sesame curls and the sweet sesame confectionery were absolute highlights! There was also sausage, cheese, honey, jam and fruit as well as small puff pastry rolls filled with cream cheese, all beautifully arranged on a large platter. A delicate treat at a very reasonable price! Not to mention the friendly and attentive service. We were completely happy and can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

We were there for iftar (breaking the fast) and the service staff was extremely courteous and very friendly and paid attention to the time despite the restaurant being full... (mostly German guests so not a given) the atmosphere was cozy and familiar, the food was very tasty and the menu was pretty good balanced will definitely come more often 👍🏻

My wife and I went there for breakfast this Saturday. We both just loved it. In addition to the cozy atmosphere (you're in the middle of the market square but you still feel somehow "hidden") and incredibly friendly service, there was also a rich breakfast platter with authentic Turkish delicacies. Anyone who rents on the market place has to calculate carefully, especially in these times, which is why the prices for what is on offer are absolutely fine. We'll have dinner there next weekend ;)

I was there spontaneously with a friend on Valentine's Day. All tables were reserved, but the friendly service was kind enough to offer us a table where the guests weren't expected for another 1.5 hours. Because other guests left earlier, we were able to sit and relax all evening. We weren't that hungry, so the two of us ordered a mixed cold and a mixed warm starter plate (€14.90 and €13.90). There was also bread, which the friendly service refilled straight away. Everything was very tasty, the atmosphere is very cozy and all the food that was served around us looked very good. Although the dining room was full throughout the evening, it wasn't too loud and it was easy to have a conversation. We'd love to come back.
