Raining night at DC so our family of 4 ordered delivery from Big China, everybody loved it! Fresh and delicious food and fair price.

This restaurant is good for a quick meal.. The service is good and the food good as well . Not back to Jan next year . See you then

Dopo questa cena ho rivalutato il cibo cinese. Tutto era saporito e cotto nel modo giusto, gli abbinamenti nel piatto erano ben studiati. Per anni ho provato diversi ristoranti cinesi ma questo finalmente mi ha fatto ingolosire di questa cucina.

Зашли днём, за маленькие деньги - буфет с китайской едой, так как много посетителей китайцев - должно быть хорошо. Брали курицу в сладком соусе и лапшу, было вкусно.

After a week of German food which is great, we needed a change Big China don't let people put this place down, food great, always feel good when you walk in and it's packed with Chinese having dinner Hot and sour soup beautiful, don't be obsessed about the duck it's not the place, sweat and sour pork, fried rice, vegetables and jasmine tea thank god! Three floors, all busy Go try it you won't be disappointed

Very nice restaurant. Fresh. Choices of different dishes. Warm welcome. And I love Chinese food in particular.

Можно один раз посетить для контраста с немецкой кухней, в целом все не плохо , и обслуживание и качество блюд . Мы жили в том же здании , где расположен этот ресторан ,и даже проход во второй корпус нашего отеля проходил через коридор кухни этого ресторана и мы сталкивались с официантами , а так же наблюдали большое количество китайских обедающих групп.Вообщем для разнообразия можно посетить.

We like Chinese food for its unique taste. But every dish which we tried at Big China was tasteless. It's a pity. Three different soups disappointed us: vonton, with duck breast and noodle soup with duck. Second course meal - Chinese duck was dry. Riсe was good enough. Green tea was rather tasty (due to this fact, I put 3, not 2)!

L'avantage principal du Big China ? Son emplacement, à 2 pas de la cathédrale et de la gare. Pour le reste, c'est assez banal. Aucune décoration digne de ce nom, le service est efficace voire expéditif, le buffet du midi n'est pas énorme mais est acceptable, la qualité est honnête sans rien d'extraordinaire; mais bon pour 8 € par personne en semaine on ne peut pas vraiment s'attendre à mieux. Rapport qualité prix convenable donc.

The menu in Big China is extensive and has lots to offer, and the food is very nice and well made. As is often the case with asian restaurants, the fizzy drinks like coke were flat, but that's to be expected when you go to a Chinese. The staff were quite unhelpful, they were just standing around talking to each other and not making much of an effort. Can't say I'd be bothered if I didn't go again.

Bonjour, Mon épouse, nos deux filles (11 et 8 ans) et moi avons profité du buffet de midi à 8€ au restaurant Big China de Cologne. Ce fut une bonne expérience. Il y avait au moins 25 plats (soupe, salade, plats principaux et desserts). Nous avons été contents de l'expérience. Il y avait aussi un certain nombre de personnes asiatiques à table et ça nous a rassuré. Par rapport au prix payé, nous sommes très contents. Si nous retournons à Cologne, nous mangerons volontiers encore une fois dans ce restaurant.

I ate here 2 years ago because I favour the 'buffet' style in Chinese restaurants and I was disappointed. I was willing to give it another go but, unfortunately, it had not improved. My comments are purely about the buffet and not the 'A La Carte' menu. On this visit the soup and the Dim Sum were both tepid. The main meal of beef and pork was a little warmer as was the fried rice. The only hot items I enjoyed were the 'chilli dip' on the table and my pot of green tea. I visit Cologne each year at this time but will be avoiding this restaurant in the future.

Restaurant sehr zentral gelegen, die Auswahl an Gerichten ist nicht enorm gross, doch schlecht ist es nicht. Nachgefüllt werden die Speisen zaghaft und man muss einfach geduld haben. Der Service ist nicht ganz so aufmerksam.

Excellent food, very fresh. Atmosphere like any other Chinese restaurants, but food is as good as London China town. Much better than any of THE alternatives in THE area. Especially great Fried Rice and sizzling cantonese beef.
