The Yufka kebab was really tasty, but the Yufka became a bit lukewarm after a short time, the boss was very nice. Would come again.

For us the best kebab in the area, finally a shop that offers the kebab as it should be. The vegetables always taste fresh and delicious. Fresh bread, pickled cabbage and onions. This shop places great value on its food that you can clearly taste. We are glad that there is Big Baba in Achern and will never eat Turkish anywhere else in the area again. You are a super nice team and everything is perfect for us. We are happy to pay extra for you because we know that quality has its price.

After my brother-in-law and sister highly recommended this restaurant to me, I went there with very high expectations and was very excited about the food. First of all, my overall assessment: A+ (school grade) and my expectations, which were very high, were largely exceeded. Craziness! I've been vegan for a good two years now and know (like every other vegan who wants to eat healthy, organic and with as few substitute products as possible) how difficult it is to eat out. And if you live in a more rural area, it is almost impossible to find a restaurant that can fulfill these attributes just mentioned. And this restaurant not only meets these attributes, but exceeds them beyond measure. The shop is very clean and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The team puts their heart and soul into it and puts a lot of passion into the work, the ingredients and the food. All dishes are homemade, organic, fresh and simply delicious. The operator is an absolute professional with enormous knowledge, extensive professional experience and true talent. The level of the food and the team is really top class. I had a vegetable kebab with a vegan yogurt sauce and a thyme-tomato-onion pide. Absolutely delicious! The vegetable kebab in particular was really the first dish since I became vegan that made me say 100%: “I don’t miss the meat at all!” I go one step further: the best kebab I’ve ever eaten! (Although it didn't even have kebab in it :D) The flatbread is also phenomenal! You can only get bread like this in the most expensive delicatessens. Even if you just want a perfect flatbread, I can highly recommend this shop. (By the way, the pide dough was also fantastic) And I am also so impressed by this wonderful vegan yogurt sauce. Next time I order one of his delicious vegan pides, I'll have this fantastic yogurt sauce put on it. The salad ingredients of the kebab are also exactly to my taste, as are the delicious specialties that I was kindly allowed to try. Finally, I would like to say to the lovely team: Thank you very much! Hello folks, In short, this store is a huge recommendation. I have been a customer for several years and have never been disappointed. At the beginning I came because of the great kebab, but without exception all the dishes are made with love and craftsmanship and you can taste it. My recommendation to everyone is definitely hummus, falafel and sour beans. The taste offered there has nothing at all to do with a “kebab shop” and is on a delicatessen level. Everything is handmade from great basic products. The owner is a kind-hearted man, always willing to listen and is behind the counter every day. I wish him all the best and thank you for the great food.

I thought it would be the best kebab in the city but it turned out to be disappointing since I haven't been able to try it. I ask him about an all-meat kebab and he tells me that it can't be because it's too expensive, I tell him to only have bulgur and chickpeas and he tells me that it's something that has as extras, that the kebab must be with salad, first time I encounter this situation in a kebab. I told him that the problem is that I don't like the salad, I can't eat it and he tells me that he can't help me... well, I guess it's a good place because of its rating, but in terms of customer service it's a deplorable place.

Thanks to a friend I came across the Baba kebab and I have to say the kebab/yufka or the pizza are perfect, you can taste the lovely and high-quality products. The owner is extremely friendly. In about 20 attempts I only managed to get something to eat once. The opening times at the store or in Google Maps don't seem to have any meaning. Even if the store is officially open until 7 p.m., the store is often closed earlier or there is no hot food left. Or don't open at all or later. Therefore service 1 star. But once the food was good. 4 stars for this.

Even after a long conversation with the owner, we learned that everything here is bought and processed regionally. He makes everything himself and you can taste it, there is so much love in his food. I like to spend my money here, good service, good food and incredibly friendly owner. I've never been so well informed about what's in food. He also really knows his food and tastes. Can only recommend him. Ps: It's very rare to find anything vegan because I'm vegan, but he just had so many good vegan options.

Once a month I drive 35 km from Kehl to Achern to eat the best kebab in Ortenaukreis. The meat is not a minced meat mixture but a real kebab. Salad always fresh and fermented. Bread is freshly baked before your eyes. All in all, a very good experience, which is why I'm happy to take the time to go there. Thank you to the owner for sharing part of his passion. 👍👍👍

Das Fleisch war schön gewürzt und saftig, und die Gemüsebeilage war knackig und frisch. Die Yogurt Soße war genau richtig, schön leicht und frisch! Die Portion war auch großzügig bemessen und das Brot ein Traum! Alles in allem kann ich den Dönerladen nur wärmstens empfehlen! Wenn du mal in Achern bist, solltest du auf jeden Fall dort vorbeischauen. Du wirst es nicht bereuen! Bester Döner!!

Vermutlich der Beste Döner ich je gegessen habe! Sehr netter Familienbetrieb, wo extrem auf Qualität geachtet wird. Vom Brot über das Fleisch bis hin zu den Beilagen und Saucen alles ganz frisch. Man merkt hier deutlich den Unterschied zu anderen. Kann ich nur allen empfehlen es auszuprobieren!
