Biergarten Spreewaldhof Leipe in Lübbenau/Spreewald

A nice stop on tours through the Spreewald. Here I had one of the best plum cakes 👍

We can't say anything about the rooms as we were only there to eat. Everything tasted very good and it was quick, the staff is friendly, the beer garden right on the water is just great. Particularly worth mentioning: in contrast to many other restaurants, shops, guesthouses, etc., you can even prefer to pay by card here.

Ordered Plinse (with applesauce, cinnamon, sugar, without having it specifically named, but it was shown that way on the menu and, according to the taste, is part of it). Delivered without applesauce, asked, was approached: "I won't open a jar of applesauce because of the wasps!" It was noted on the order window that this behavior was unpleasant. Adds an employee: "It's our business, what we put out is our restaurant!" Gently noted that this appearance does not fit. One (slightly red-haired) lady was the only one who tried to behave in a respectable manner, all the other staff encountered just looked up at each other and reacted completely inappropriately. Addition to the operator's answer: Applesauce wasn't specifically ordered, but it was pictured and was part of it. It wasn't excluded either, otherwise we wouldn't have ordered the completely overpriced plinse. It's hard to believe that the plinse with applesauce would be even more expensive! Strangely, apple strudel with whipped cream was offered. I asked a man at the food counter about the missing apple sauce, he just grumbled briefly, left me standing, then I went to the checkout. All the staff there talked to me in exactly this arrogant way. Critical ability, customer orientation, decency... it's different!

During our visit to the Spreewald we stopped here several times for a cup of coffee or a beer. It's great to sit by the water and unwind.

Very nice staff and great location. Room was also sufficient with everything you need. Sausage and cheese platter for breakfast for 2 people was very spartan. Dinner always the same and not a lot of choice. Maybe also think about pasta or snack plates for children. The kitchen closed at 7 p.m. and there was nothing to drink after 8 p.m. Prices for food and drinks are very expensive.

Very nice location, right on the water. Ideal for stopping here by paddle boat, bicycle or motorbike. Delicious food and drinks.

We arrived here after several hours paddling. We rested with some beers enjoying the fresh breeze.

A nice outdoor area. No vegan lunch offer. Unfortunately we had a rather unpleasant experience with the staff. The three people I was there with each got food and drink, I just got vegan soda. To be on the safe side, I took something vegan with me and ate it there. After a short while, a woman came up to us and pointed out that the food we had brought with us was not allowed and that I should pack it away. We explained our situation to her, but our reasons were not acknowledged. Her suggestion was that I please sit down somewhere outside the restaurant and eat there. I can understand the annoyance of people who only eat their own food there, despite the signs, and I don't want to complain that there was no vegan food. However, I would have liked more differentiation for our situation and a friendlier atmosphere for discussion.

Beautiful place to relax during (or after) a bike ride/paddle ride. By chance we rode past it on our bikes and were surprised that such a beautiful beer garden awaited us. The food and self-service service was also very great! So from us - clear recommendation!

Very unfriendly staff! My friends and I took a break there by canoe. 3 people made the order and ate there, 4th brought a banana. A few minutes later a woman came and stood silently next to us. Then she asked if anyone spoke German, which was understandable since we are not native speakers. But afterwards she said "Can't you read?! You're not allowed to bring your own food here (!banana!)". Afterwards she recommended that we leave the restaurant Sorry, what? This is how you talk to customers? If the entire table orders large dishes at a fairly high price, one could be more polite. Positive: the place is pretty nice, you can also pay by card.

We stopped here on a bike tour at the weekend. The ambience and location is great and it is also located on the water - many boaters also get stranded here. The garden was well filled and we barely found space for 6 of us, big and small. There is a self-service restaurant here that seems well organized. You order, pay and take the drinks with you straight away. There's a radio buzzer for food, which then rings. Over a bratwurst with potato salad, he didn't do that until more than half an hour later. This was clearly outside the tolerance limit. We give it 3 out of 5 stars for the dish selection. However, there are also local dishes and a cucumber seems to be everywhere - nice! Also fish dishes. Unfortunately, we missed "Fettbemmen", for example. Or children's portions of the pasta. The fact that drinks in a self-service restaurant are still charged at the inner-city prices of a big city left us perplexed and annoyed - that doesn't have to be the case at all and we found it fairer elsewhere in the area. Some of the food prices also amazed us because of the expense of the dish; So profit maximization seems to be important. The location is of course beautiful and is good for the beer garden. We rate it with 3 stars.

Wonderful excursion restaurant easily accessible by kayak or paddle boat. Cyclists can also easily get there. There is something to eat and drink, and the beer garden is a great place to sit

Easy to reach for water hikers, easy to get in and out of, good campsite, a bit small and cramped. Beer garden great, lots of seating with a view of the Spree, drinks good, food not tested.

We took a break here with our kayak. Sufficiently large lawn area to park boats. Lots of seating, which is shaded by awnings or trees. Everything is clean and nice to look at. Potato salad and iced coffee were delicious. A smile wouldn't have hurt. :)

Great location... very nicely designed beer garden, like everything else at your place - nice, flexible staff and tasty food!!!! Thank you for the great time with you! We often came to your place and no matter how full it was, You always had it under control and everyone was friendly, nice and accommodating!

I always make an effort to evaluate fairly and objectively, but I have rarely come across a less friendly shop.

Very beautifully landscaped beer garden right on the water. For dinner we had herring fillet with remoulade and boiled potatoes and herb sausage with potato salad. Both were very tasty and highly recommended. The Potsdamer Radler was also tasty. You can spend a lot of time here. Toilets are original and clean.

A ray of hope in the midst of all the rip-off tourist traps in the Spreewald. While elsewhere you pay for the ambience and are otherwise offered junk food with minimal service, which you then often have to pay in cash, you notice a certain high standard at the Spreewaldhof. The fact that the beer garden is very nice is not a unique selling point in this location, but many details show that there are obviously operators here with sufficient gastronomic ambitions. The service was friendly and pleasantly casual. I can't say much about the food, unfortunately fish sandwiches are no longer on the menu and I would have just felt like a little something. In any case, my companion was impressed by the herring. However, the beer lacked any head of foam, so you should work on the tap again.

A very nice place to stop and rest in Leipe. The marina has a great approach and the restaurant has a large selection of beer and good food. An atmospheric place with local folklore.

We were cycling and spontaneously stopped in for dinner. All I can say is everything is great. Staff very friendly, food delicious. So price-performance for the location is fully justified. If we go on holiday in the Spreewald again we will definitely come back.

Very unfriendly staff and unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. You can sit nicely, but next time you'd still prefer to drive to an inn further away.

Just don't eat cookies on the terrace, regardless of whether the kitchen is closed and you can't buy anything to eat. The very un-relaxed owner (?) immediately admonishes you and turns the wheel. Otherwise it's pretty chic there, just don't eat cookies. Then you will be spared 😉

Delicious food and a great docking point for canoes. Every year at Easter there is a night canoe trip that you have to see.

The beer garden is very nice, the whole area is very well maintained. However, the prices for self-service are already very high. The bread that I got with my smoked fish didn't taste fresh.

A star. I waited forever for my food and it didn't even taste good. In addition, food and drinks are absolutely overpriced. Very rude service and the entire restaurant including the hotel area is incredibly dirty. The toilets were clogged, there was no toilet paper and most of the toilet seats were broken (if there were any). Actually, this restaurant doesn't deserve a star at all. 🙁

The location for a short break is nice, but the prices are exorbitant and completely outrageous. We had to pay €20.50 for two fish sandwiches, a small cola and a shandy! People better drive on to Lehde. There the fish sandwich costs around €3.50 and not €6.50!

Food good, but not quite as described. Prices very high, but to be expected given the tourist location. You can sit relaxed in the sun if you find a place. Extremely many unfunny metal signs everywhere

Very tasty freshly cooked food, prices are reasonable given the large portions. Despite the huge rush, the waiting time was short.

Selbstbedienung, Essen ist schnell bereitet und lecker, für Radler und Paddler bestens geeignet. Parkplatz und Bootsanleger ausreichend vorhanden.

Wir haben mit den Rädern eine Tour dort hin gemacht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 😊 nettes und freundliches Personal, kühle Getränke und schönes Ambiente, macht weiter so 👍😊

Wir haben bei einer Paddelboottour da gehalten. Anlage sehr schön zum verweilen, nur die Preise machen das ganze zu Nichte. Fischbrötchen für 6,50€ ist echt eine Frechheit, auch die anderen Sachen waren überteuert. Scheinbar gibt es genug die das bezahlen, da es sehr voll um die Mittagszeit war. Zu den Speisen direkt kann ich nichts sagen, da es mir schlicht zu teuer war.

Schöne Atmosphäre, Essen war top, aber etwas zu teuer 🙂 Ps: Das Gurken-Radler kann man mal probieren 😂

Der Biergarten liegt schön am Wasser und es war angenehm ruhig. Persönlich finde ich SB nicht ganz so toll, ist aber oft in Biergarten üblich Die geräucherte Forelle war schon etwas hochpreisig, dafür aber sehr lecker.

Also nettes Personal und nette Leute sowieso und ich bin sicher nicht geizig und gebe gern Geld aus aber die Fischbrötchen für 6 bzw 6,50 € ist jenseits von gut und böse und würde ich im Leben nicht kaufen. Also 4 ist schon zuviel und über die anderen Gerichte ganz zu schweigen. Auch wenn alles teurer geworden ist aber 6 Euro für eine Fischsemmel nee Leute das geht nicht da könnt ihr mir sagen was ihr wollt.

Netter Biergarten und völlig überraschend darf man mitgebrachte Speisen dort nicht verzehren 😂 Nein im Ernst, ist nicht günstig, aber sehr lecker und schön.

Hier kann man mit Fahrrad oder paddelboot anlegen. Nettes Personal und eine herrliche Aussicht.

Da SB beim Essen kann man über Service nichts sagen, sonst alles sehr sauber. Preis/Leistung fragwürdig, aber Essen war top und ja, wie oft macht man sowas schon mal, deswegen trotzdem bezahlbar u. lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir haben hier eine Kleinigkeit gegessen, auf unserer Paddeltour. Sehr gute Auswahl und sehr lecker war es auch. Zu empfehlen ist das Softeis als Nachtisch 😋

Zimmer und Service kann ich nicht bewerten. Wir sind mit dem Kajak gelandet und haben uns am Imbiss mit Selbstbedienung etwas zu trinken und Essen geholt. Wartezeit war bei den vielen Gästen absolut in Ordnung. Es gibt Sitzplätze im Schatten Die Preise fanden wir persönlich überzogen. Klar Urlaubsregion und Saison aber wir empfanden es als teuer

Mega leckere Hefeplinsen. Toller Ort, um mit dem Kajak Pause zu machen. Sehr schöne Plätze zum Draußensitzen. Sehr saubere, moderne Toiletten

Perfekte Rast bei einer Paddeltour. Trotz eines sehr hohen Andrangs ging das Essenfassen schnell. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Uriger Ort zum Verweilen besonders mit Fahrrädern..es gibt unzählige Fotomotive...das Essen ist lecker, aber etwas überteuert...

Leider waren meine Pellkartoffeln schlecht geputzt. Es hat geknirscht beim Kauen. Das haben wir hier vor einigen Jahren schon viel besser erlebt! Schade!
