Very good German cuisine, definitely go in when visiting Erfurt, but even without a visit, a highlight as a resident.

Small rustic restaurant. Condition is very friendly. We were there during the week and got a table straight away. We were recommended to make a reservation, but it worked out that way and I would definitely recommend it.

Very friendly service!!! The food was very good. I had pork cheeks, my husband had roulade, both with dumplings and red cabbage. Even the price was right.

Small and cozy restaurant right on Cathedral Square. Anyone who likes hearty, home-style food is in good hands here. It tastes fantastic, the service is very friendly. There is a children's menu. We paid less than €100 with 5 people including drinks. Price-performance unbeatable. Quality of the food was very good. We felt very comfortable.

A very great restaurant with very courteous service. The dumplings are handmade and taste that way too! The pork cheeks melt in your mouth. The Wirtshaussalat is also highly recommended!

We wanted Thuringian cuisine, the food offered in this restaurant is not particularly Thuringian specialties. But really tasty and inexpensive too. Since it is right near the cathedral and cathedral square, it is easy to find. A fine restaurant with Thuringian cuisine that is recommended.

Been to Erfurt so many times and never eaten at the Wirtshaus am Dom. That's changing now. Super tasty food, nice service, just enjoy working... great and a beautiful view of the cathedral...

Thank you for the very tasty food and authentic service! The map is small and manageable, which is exactly how it is perfect. We would love to come back with our children. The only downside: the jus/sauce for the roulades and the braised cheeks was very close to the salt limit. But you can easily change that 😉 . But the meaty taste of the sauce was outstanding.

The service crew on Thursday August 22nd. was lonely peak. It was tasty anyway, the service ladies were the icing on the cake. Gladly again.

Super delicious food at absolutely fair prices and very friendly service.

If you want to experience the “GDR ambience” of the 70s, this is the right place. When I politely asked if I could sit down, I was told I should wait until the table was cleared. Of course, other guests sat down there in the meantime and I had to wait again. After ordering food and a non-alcoholic Paulaner beer, I received a warm Fürstenberg Pilsener without any indication. I complained about this to a waitress, whereupon the waitress from whom I had ordered appeared shortly afterwards with the same drink and resolutely explained to me that it was the supplier's fault and that all bottled drinks were at that temperature. Because of the heavy crowds, "I couldn't keep up with filling the fridge. However, I could get ice cubes." I then had no choice but to leave the restaurant, which was actually beautifully located next to the cathedral. It's a shame, but as I said, pure "Ostalgia"!

We came here on the recommendation of our landlady... Food was great, service was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was simply fantastic (we sat outside, right in the center of Erfurt) - we'll be back next time we're in Erfurt :-)

The Thuringian bratwurst was really good, the stuffing was homemade, everything was top notch. Unfortunately the service was really bad. Grumpy and inattentive. A pity!

This restaurant is right on Cathedral Square. This time, when the sun was shining, we sat outside in the sun and watched the goings-on at the fair. The service was quick and polite.

We had a great evening, with delicious food and a view of the cathedral square for the Clueso concert. The employees are all very nice and put their hearts into their work, even if this evening was certainly challenging.

After three beers of the same type, the waiter still had to explain that I would continue to drink the same type in the future. Food=Rostbrätel, meat ok, fried potatoes, well, half of the onions raw and not braised as in the menu. The waiter's answer = that's just how the chef does it! Service, offerings and friendliness have deteriorated greatly in the restaurant. We will look for new hospitality in the future.

We enjoyed being guests at this restaurant, but the emphasis is on GOODS. After a family member wanted to make a reservation for a birthday and an employee misbehaved, we are extremely disappointed. Such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from the service staff cannot be excused. There were only annoyed and stroppy answers, she was left standing in the middle of the restaurant and then it was emphasized that she should bring cash with her reservation!? Underground staff!! Reservation was canceled and this restaurant will no longer be available.

A small and cozy restaurant on Cathedral Square. We definitely had to have spicy meat when we visited Erfurt. I looked at the reviews of the restaurants and chose the inn. Luckily we had already booked a table in advance. The restaurant was fully booked. We ordered drinks and were given the menu. The selection was very good. Of course I took the spiced meat and my husband chose the beef roulade. We didn't have to wait long for the food. It looked very good and smelled very good. We weren't disappointed either. The spiced meat was absolutely delicious and the roulade was very juicy, and the red cabbage and dumplings couldn't have been better. The staff was attentive and very friendly. We'd love to come back.

We received a very friendly welcome on Sunday. The food was good home cooking, came quickly and was very tasty. The waitress was courteous and friendly. Special requests for vegetarian and vegan guests were also fulfilled as best as possible. The sauce and red cabbage are cooked with meat; That's why both are not available for vegetarians and vegans.

A very comfortably furnished restaurant in a top location right on the cathedral square with a view of the cathedral and Severikirche. Luckily we got a table without a reservation. The staff are very friendly, the menu contains many tasty dishes, and the food was excellent. We felt very comfortable here and will happily visit the inn again.
