Beautiful beer garden right next to the ferry dock. We stopped here on our bike tour. The drinks and food were good and the prices were reasonable. We'd be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, the beer garden was closed when we arrived. We sat on the bench for a while and enjoyed the Danube. It was a shame, but at least the sun was shining.

Smoked char and fried trout are also available. Fries may take a little longer during busy times. Self-service.

A truly beautiful beer garden with a great view. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the staff are consistently friendly. There are also plenty of shady spots, which makes the whole experience even more pleasant. There's a small playground for children. There's also an option to cross the river via a "cable ferry" (that's what we always called it). I can recommend this beer garden with a clear conscience.

The fries had a distinct taste of overheated fat—truly disgusting and untrustworthy. I went to the counter to the manager, who was practically proudly showing off his air fryer and claimed, deadly seriously, that fries couldn't possibly get too hot. Instead of addressing the problem, I was told there was probably something wrong with the three of us. As if that wasn't rude enough, he simply reached into my plate and ate several fries—right there at the counter. I guess that's what they call "customer service." Anyone who likes sharing their food with the waiter and is treated rudely, then go ahead. Everyone else is better off somewhere else.

Today during my bike ride I finally got around to stopping off at the beer garden by the ferry. I've always ignored it and carried on cycling. The beer garden is beautifully situated on the Danube, has plenty of shady spots, and plenty of room for bikes and cars. All the staff are friendly and helpful if you have any questions. The menu is extensive, so there's something for everyone, and the prices are more than fair these days. The two meatloafs with potato salad for €7.80 were delicious. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop there for a break and a bite to eat. Best wishes to the owners and the entire N.F.B. team.

We have been visiting the beer garden for several years now; the location on the Danube ferry is very beautiful, so the beer garden is often very busy with boaters and cyclists.

It's always a highlight whenever we're in the area. A visit is a must. It's cozy, with good drinks and snacks, and the friendly staff. Definitely recommended. Bicycles can be securely secured, and if it rains, there's a roof over the seating. Anyone who thinks otherwise should go to a Michelin-starred restaurant.

I've been coming here for years and I'm still enthusiastic about this place. The fish on offer is delicious. The staff is nice and friendly.

Stopped here while paddling down the River. Nothing fancy but tables are right by the water, providing a nice view. The trout was cooked fresh to order, and was delicious. My friend had the Obazda and said it wasn’t good though. Much more affordable than the Kloister brewery

Great beer garden with a great view of the Danube. Unfortunately, I have to say that the food definitely has room for improvement. The sausage salad wasn't the best, and neither was the salmon sandwich. But the visual appearance and ambiance were top-notch.

Small self-service beer garden on the Danube. I think self-service is perfectly fine. A lady was very nice and attentive and cleared the tables. The beer tables are a bit dated but tidy. In my opinion, the beer garden has more potential. Why can't they just use gravel instead of tar, like in the larger beer gardens? Drink prices are absolutely reasonable! The pretzel with the cheese was unfortunately soft and not crispy, but that's often due to the weather. The fries (€4.50) weren't worth the money; they came from the warming rack, were lukewarm, and tasted a bit like fish. The bratwurst sandwich was okay, a good price.

Dear readers, We took a quick stroll through a nearby beer garden today. Unfortunately, the food today was a disaster. The ingredients were of zero quality. But the prices were incredibly high. We are very disappointed with the beer garden. Unfortunately!

The place is beautiful. The beer garden by the ferry is well located. The food is, unfortunately, an absolute disgrace. The cheese is dry and stale. The pretzels are anything but fresh. There are so many great beer gardens nearby. Go to another one instead. Best, Martina

We were at the beer garden An der Fähre today; a beautiful ambiance with a view of the Danube, simply relaxing.... I got two Weisebier cheese slices with salt and pepper and two pretzels for €16, as it's self-service, as usual in the beer garden. There was a brief queue at the bar, but the next cheese stand moved faster, but overall, the staff were friendly, so I give them a thumbs up 👍 We'll be back...

We always enjoy our favorite beer garden when we are on holiday in the KEH district and we are there every other day. Unbeatable location to relax and unwind and look out over the beautiful Danube. I enjoyed eating several fish there every year for 20 years. Until last Saturday, when I got a warmed-up fish from the day before. There are new tenants. At this point, a big compliment to the 3 ladies who have managed it in a friendly and good manner so far. That was my last fish there. Thank you, Ciao baba.

We celebrated our birthdays with 20 people in the beer garden under the big oak tree right on the Danube. There's no better place to sit on a summer day. Our guests (mostly from Munich) were thrilled by the relaxed atmosphere and the very friendly staff. The fried trout with potato salad, the smoked char and the currywurst with fries were, as always, delicious.😋 The crowning glory in the afternoon are the homemade cakes. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire beer garden team, we had a wonderful party. Thanks!

Good selection of drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. Unfortunately I couldn't use the ferry due to strong wind/currents.

The Obatzda is a disaster, only tastes like processed cheese, there is no Camembert to be found, and at 4.70 euros it is completely overpriced for the poor quality. The pretzels were stale. The fish was good, but quite expensive at 12.90. The cheese was cut with a lot of goodwill this morning, or rather yesterday. The negative highlight, however, is the so-called Fährburger, which consists of a stale star roll, a fried meat patty and ketchup, plus burnt fries.

Not recommended. Current prices do not match those shown on the website. Currywurst is an imposition, cold and burst open, without a roll. Had to buy a 10 cent roll for 70 cents. Fries lukewarm and not baked through. Definitely won't go there again.

The area is a ferry dock on the Danube. Plus everything in the form of a beer garden. The dishes are all homemade. Commendable trout and of course homemade cakes, which are known far beyond the Eining region.
