Beykebab in Stuttgart

A simple doner kebab, just like decades ago. Delicious and wholesome. The probably around 400kg doner kebab skewer delivers delicious meat into the fluffy, homemade bun, which is garnished with tomato and lettuce and then spread with a sensational sauce. I definitely recommend it. Sometimes less is more, and this is the best example. Addendum: One star deducted because last time there was hardly any meat in the doner kebab. And that's a bit weak for a 400g skewer.

Best doner I have ever eaten, unique meat of taste, fresh homemade bread, yogurt from my grandmother from the village, was once at Alaturka from Stuttgart but not even that was as good as Beykebab a 10/10

A really good shop, I go there quite often, it tastes really great and the meat is extremely tasty, also it is one of the few shops with a reasonably good price-performance ratio, I can only recommend the shop, friendly staff, always customers, I always eat the Yufka there which as of May 30th 2025 costs €8.20 which is definitely worth it, the meat is of excellent quality and in terms of taste it gets 12/10 in my opinion, and the skewer is minced but proper and not chemical rubbish, unlike 80% of the other kebab shops these days, and above all the sauce goes perfectly with the meat and the sellers are very fair, they give Turkish customers just as much meat as everyone else, the kebab gets 9/10 because the bread isn't homemade and to be honest I don't like the yufka that much, but it gets 12/10, you really can't go wrong, but on some days there can be a mistake in the preparation or something, which means you might not get the best yufka or kebab But in any case, it's a great shop, I'd love to come back again and again. You have to try it in Stuttgart, it's been there for 25 years.

Simply unique and not a "normal" kebab - anyone expecting a classic kebab here will likely be disappointed. As a Stuttgart native, I'd say: what Udosnack is to burgers, Beykebab is to kebabs - simply something unique. The kebab bread is fluffy and somewhat dry - but in a good way - the skewer is made of minced meat - but in a good way, and doesn't taste of spices, thickeners, or flavor enhancers, but of real meat with a light hint of lamb - the salad is always fresh, and tomatoes, strangely enough, are always flavorful, even in winter, which shows that quality is important - just meat, yogurt, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and spicy food - there's nothing more, and there shouldn't be anything more - the kebab is just right as it is!

You can hardly taste any meat. I think it's a bit of a shame for the price, with only four slices of meat and the rest just salad. I'd happily eat it again, but next time I'd add more meat. P.S.: Many people from Stuttgart say they're disappointed that there's so little meat in it.

That's not okay. I've eaten there many times but the quality has gone down a lot. From this evening onwards, the meat was almost impossible to bite into, very tough and inedible. Please let the meat cook for longer or change something. Impossible!

I love the taste of this kebab, and I've loved it since I was a child! It's normal for the price to increase over time, but the portions are now so small that I don't order it anymore, and that's a shame.

I took doner with yufka and it tasted very nice. The staff is very friendly and they are fast. It’s very near to the center so if you want to grab food and sit on the grass ,it’s perfect. Inside of the place is small and not very nice to eat. There are tables outside but they are not enough so it could be little tough to find somewhere to eat nearby the restaurant.

This is how a kebab should be without a lot of frills.

An INSTITUTION in BenzTown! I am now almost 51 years old and have been eating here since I was a child!!! There is NO other such stable kebab with the same ingredients in Stuttgart. I'll spare the kebab community any more "praise songs"... just come along, eat and just be happy 🤗

I think the kebab tastes very good. It is simply filled with no frills. The sauce is my personal highlight. Very creamy and yogurt taste not a mayo sauce like many other kebab shops. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that there is very little meat on it - the employee almost seems to be counting the slices. Nevertheless, I would recommend this kebab. Essen dort ist solide. Geringe Wartezeit, Essen ist qualitativ genauso wie das Fleisch. Man muss diesen Döner nicht zwingend essen gehen, einen Abstecher dorthin zu machen wenn man in der Nähe ist lohnt sich dennoch.

They are very fast and very delicious. They are Turkish and very friendly. We received our order within 1 minute. Döner is extremely filling and delicious. As someone who has tasted doner kebab all over Turkey, it has a taste that I can place at the top. Business is not just about selling products. Friendliness, sincerity is zero. Hygiene is zero. They only work in cash, they are not good at tax evasion. I do not recommend it at all.

I first heard about this shop two to years ago, touted as the best kebab in Stuttgart. Today I had the opportunity to get my own impression of it for the first time. The store is relatively small, with no seating. The service is nice and there is a relatively small menu. There is no halloumi or falaffel and the only vegetarian options on the menu are yufka. So I ordered the Yufka with sheep's cheese, sauce and salad, and I immediately noticed that the dough was not freshly prepared in the oven but was already finished, already topped with the salads and was just heated on a kind of pancake machine. That's exactly how the fun tasted for €8, boring and done. The sauce was okay, the salads were good, but you can't go wrong either. The Yufka dough was bad, tasted like a piece of cardboard and at times, if you didn't get any sauce, the Yufka was terrible. 2 stars because of the good service but the Yufka alone would have been even worse. I'm convinced it could be worse, so it's not a completely disastrous review.

For something quick in between, unfortunately no seating options, but delicious and despite the long queues you don't have to wait long. The service was very friendly and the stations flowed well.

As soon as someone is there, they tip the cold meat into the cold bread and serve it...the flatbreads are ready to be filled with lettuce and tomatoes in the cold, the last time I was there. That used to be my “favorite”. I've been back to Städtle for ages and was looking forward to this kebab. Everything was like before. The roll, the tomatoes and onions with the delicious sauce... but what happened to the meat? Dry, over-seasoned and of poor quality. I have no idea, maybe I got the meat that had been lying around for a while and had already been cut. :-( It was still quite early in the afternoon and there wasn't a run through yet. However, the price surprised me too. 8 euros?!?!? That's a bit excessive for what you get. What a shame!

I bought both the phyllo wrap and the round-shaped doner kebab. The bread was soft and well baked. But I still recommend the phyllo wrap. The lettuce, onion and parsley inside were fresh. They heat the phyllo and serve it. It had yoghurt in it, which I liked. I had higher expectations for the meat, but I can say it is above average. Overall an ok experience. Stuff was kind and helpful. The food was mediocre. The meat was cut in stripes making it lose its crispy bits. It was a bit dry as well. Tomatoes were not cut properly, were too thick. The sauce was almost plain yogurt and the bread was not toasted. The quality of the ingredients was good though.
