Food 8/10 For me it's a legendary kebab in Stuttgart. I've known it since I was a child and when I'm there I stop by here. A classic kebab as it should be. Tomatoes, onions, lettuce, yogurt sauce and a bit spicy 🤌 Personally I think the Dürüm is the best here because the bread is too thick for me. The meat is also very tasty and nicely seasoned. Trade is not just about selling products. No smiling faces, no sincerity. No hygiene. They only work for cash, they are the best at tax evasion. I never recommend it.

I first heard about this shop two to years ago, touted as the best kebab in Stuttgart. Today I had the opportunity to get my own impression of it for the first time. The store is relatively small, with no seating. The service is nice and there is a relatively small menu. There is no halloumi or falaffel and the only vegetarian options on the menu are yufka. So I ordered the Yufka with sheep's cheese, sauce and salad, and I immediately noticed that the dough was not freshly prepared in the oven but was already finished, already topped with the salads and was just heated on a kind of pancake machine. That's exactly how the fun tasted for €8, boring and done. The sauce was okay, the salads were good, but you can't go wrong either. The Yufka dough was bad, tasted like a piece of cardboard and at times, if you didn't get any sauce, the Yufka was terrible. 2 stars because of the good service but the Yufka alone would have been even worse. I'm convinced it could be worse, so it's not a completely disastrous review.

An institution in Stuttgart for over thirty years. Except for the last visit, I recommended it to a friend, which was very disappointing. Hopefully it was because it was so late that it was simply bad and the meat was slightly lukewarm. Nevertheless, I give it 3 stars because I've been going there since the 90s and it's mostly good. The food was really inedible, they cut the meat and wait for customers. As soon as someone is there, they tip the cold meat into the cold bread and serve it...the flatbreads are ready to be filled with lettuce and tomatoes in the cold, the last time I was there. Unfortunately my visit was disappointing. The price-performance ratio was not right for me, especially because of the small amount of meat - and it was only minced meat. My yufka was estimated to contain a maximum of 50g of meat. When I complained about why so little meat was used, the owner said there was enough. That used to be my “favorite”. I've been back to Städtle for ages and was looking forward to this kebab. Everything was like before. The roll, the tomatoes and onions with the delicious sauce... but what happened to the meat? Dry, over-seasoned and of poor quality. I have no idea, maybe I got the meat that had been lying around for a while and had already been cut. :-( It was still quite early in the afternoon and there wasn't a run through yet. However, the price surprised me too. 8 euros?!?!? That's a bit excessive for what you get. What a shame!

We had very good quality and satisfying doner kebab and lahmacun.

I bought both the phyllo wrap and the round-shaped doner kebab. The bread was soft and well baked. But I still recommend the phyllo wrap. The lettuce, onion and parsley inside were fresh. They heat the phyllo and serve it. It had yoghurt in it, which I liked. I had higher expectations for the meat, but I can say it is above average. Overall an ok experience. Stuff was kind and helpful. The food was mediocre. The meat was cut in stripes making it lose its crispy bits. It was a bit dry as well. Tomatoes were not cut properly, were too thick. The sauce was almost plain yogurt and the bread was not toasted. The quality of the ingredients was good though.

Historic Turkish Kebab open since 1987, strongly recommended by friends living in Stuttgart. Tried it and I must admit that the sandwich is exceptional, good, tasty, plentiful and not at all heavy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Advised.

Compared to our Turkey, doner kebab is pretty dry, they try to flavor it with dry sauces. Since things with a tail structure taste like ours, they are a bit dry because they are deprived of the oil that gives them their real flavor. Ideal for a quick snack. I paid €9.90 for a doner kebab and I definitely recommend you try this instead of eating at McDonald's or KFC.

There was a hell of a queue, so they had to prepare fast and therefore didn’t pay attention to tje meat After I ate the Döner I suddenly got sick. 🤢 So it was definitely due to the meat. So next time u go there watch the meat on the grill and how many people are in the queue if u don’t wanna ruin yr stomach

I was here with a friend and we thought, if there is such a big meat rotisserie there, it must be working here. My friend ate a normal kebab and I ate a Youfka. The normal one had a little little meat. My Youfka was quite ok in terms of portion. Neither was a revelation in terms of taste. In our opinion, the kebabs were a bit tasteless. It was very nice, we came for euro2024. We paid 10.40€ for a doner kebab between coke and phyllo dough. If you want ayran, you pay 10.30€. I thought it tasted good and satisfying. I recommend it 👍🏻
