Best Maza (Höfe am Brühl) in Leipzig

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, because 45 minutes after ordering two simple bowls with a server, we didn't get anything to eat and had to leave the restaurant hungry. Several servers milled around during that time, and no one asked why we were sitting at an empty table. Even after asking at the cashier, we didn't get anything for another 10 minutes.

The renovation was very successful. A cozy atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating. You can order digitally on the board right at the entrance. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is still fantastic. Plentiful and incredibly delicious. 🥰

We stopped here for a spontaneous lunch and had one halloumi plate and one falafel plate. Both tasted fantastic, with fresh ingredients and delicious bread. We've rarely had such good falafel and halloumi. We were particularly impressed by the friendly service and the value for money. Top-notch!

I went to Best Maza in Leipzig and had a grilled platter with rice, hummus, and bread. Everything was delicious, freshly made, and well-seasoned. The meat was juicy, and the hummus was delicious with a pomegranate on top – I love it! So many people say the portions are large and the price is reasonable. For me, the food was a bit small for the price. I expected more, because the plate looks big but there isn't much in it. Nevertheless, the taste was excellent and the service was friendly. The place is clean and beautifully decorated. I might come back for other dishes.

I ate at the best Maza Restaurant in Leipzig and was unfortunately very disappointed. I ordered a plate of foul and a plate of falafel. Both were disappointing in taste and didn't reflect the Syrian style I'm used to. The foul was carelessly prepared and seemed unprofessional, as was the falafel. Furthermore, the price was completely overpriced compared to the quality of the food; what was served was definitely not worth the high price. The only positive thing I noticed was the friendly staff; the waitresses were really nice and attentive. Unfortunately, that alone isn't enough to create a good dining experience.

Very tasty food, prices are OK. Unfortunately, the chairs at the dining tables are placed quite tightly there, so if you want to sit down there you always have to move at least two chairs. Some of the tables were also crumbly. It could be cleaned a little better. However, you can't complain about the food.

The motabaka in the clay pot consisted of potato wedges and tomato sauce, which was a little disappointing. It's not clear on the menu that these are potato wedges instead of fresh potatoes, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered the dish. Therefore, I find the price-performance ratio for this dish unreasonable. The starters were good and the service was very friendly and accommodating.

The best Arabic restaurant in Leipzig! We went to the Ramadan open buffet. There was a large selection of dishes, all of which tasted very good. Definitely recommended.

We had dinner there in the courtyards today. I found the mixed plate for almost twelve euros with three blobs of hummus, BabaGanoush, 3 halloumi and falafel very disappointing. The salad is very unimaginative and the taste overall is very monotonous. It somehow lacks the freshness and balance of flavors. A bit of tabbouleh, for example, would be good on the plate, instead of the usual iceberg and tomato mix. Everything is there on display. But it doesn't really end up on the plate. The prices are calculated very generously. I wouldn't come back again. Unfortunately it wasn't convincing.

I was very surprised at the very good tasting food. Didn't expect it to be so good. If you order from the machine, don't forget to tip for the good service at the table.

I've loved this store for a long time. The food is always plentiful, at a really fair price and as a vegan I get a lot of choice here. I enjoy coming here often. Now that the business has been expanded, you can sit down to eat even more comfortably and there are now service employees.

Best halloumi and falafel wrap of my life!!!

I have to say that the sandwiches in particular (my favorite: falafel) are very, very recommendable. Reminds me more of a wrap, but the combination of fresh lettuce, fruity elements and sesame sauce convinces me. Have eaten here several times Small addendum: apparently additional space was rented and further expanded here. Everything has become very inviting for consumption on site. Despite the fact that it's in the middle of a shopping arcade, you don't notice anything. Oriental touches, wall decorations, artificial trees, a small fountain, very comfortable chairs and pleasant colors invite you to stay for a longer period of time. Someone put a lot of effort into it. Keep it up!

Food is not even close to middle eastern and it’s very bad.they change ingredients without telling you, and service is extremely bad, we had to order a fries plate like 3 times and they kept forgetting it, and they are a bit rude

The food was not good at all. It cost 16€. I only gave 2 pieces of chicken skewers, dry rice and only one lavash. It is unnecessarily expensive and not at all hygienic. I definitely do not recommend you to go there.

If you're in the mood for oriental cuisine, you've come to the right place! Pretty restaurant - no "fast food restaurant flair" but very cozy. Delicious diverse food. Friendly staff. We'll be back. ☺️

We ate there last night at 6 p.m. and were not at all satisfied. Although there were very few tables occupied, we had to wait 45 minutes for our food despite asking, while other diners following us received their food much quicker. The Maza grill was OK, the spinach lasagne was a big disappointment. No recommendation.

Since the renovation there have finally been enough free tables. The quality of the food remains high, and the new dishes are also very tasty!

The digital ordering process was cool and the food looked good in the pictures too. Unfortunately, payment directly at the terminal was not possible. When we asked the employees at the counter, they said that payment by card was also possible directly there. After completing the order, this turned out to be misinformation and they asked for cash in a very rude manner. Unfortunately we felt so uncomfortable that we decided against eating.
