We ended up here on a whim and left very satisfied and full. The atmosphere is very authentic, even though it's in a mall. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food wasn't mainstream, but it was sensationally delicious, and anyone who likes Middle Eastern cuisine will be in the right place.

Great restaurant. You can order at the terminal or directly at your table. The staff is friendly. The decor is lovely. The food arrived quickly and tasted fantastic. You can also get anything you don't finish packed up to go. We'll definitely be back.

The vegetarian bowl was excellent and generous. The service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was also perfectly acceptable, but the restaurant is located in a mall, so a particularly cozy atmosphere isn't really possible. I'd say Best Maza made the most of the space.

I discovered this place through NeoTaste and went there for lunch with a friend. Located in the basement of Brühl, it's very busy at lunchtime, which makes it feel hectic and noisy. Despite this, we were seated immediately. Ordering was a bit confusing at first, as there were self-service kiosks and a direct ordering option at the deli counter. I wasn't sure where to redeem my voucher, so I asked. I was then told that they also offered table reservations. I found the concept interesting, as it offered a mix of fast food, bistro, and restaurant. The food we ordered was delicious and a generous portion. I was very pleasantly surprised, as I hadn't expected to find such good food in the courtyard.

The place was nice and clean, but the shawarma wasn't on the spit a bit. Unfortunately, the garlic sauce wasn't good, the falafel was good, the tea wasn't good either, and the prices were high.

The portions are okay, the atmosphere is like being on vacation, and the staff are courteous.

I've been a regular customer at this restaurant for several years and always enjoyed the falafel – they were always warm, fresh, and delicious. Unfortunately, my last visit was very disappointing. The falafel were far too greasy, as if they had been fried several times. In addition, the bread was cold, hard, and stiff, rather than soft and fresh. The quality has declined significantly compared to before. FYI: We have informed the employees already working there, but it seems they have no interest in or understanding of my feedback. Unfortunately, it's now time to say goodbye.

It's a bit cramped, but it moves along pretty quickly. The food was delicious. Personally, I found the chili falafel extremely bland, with hardly any chili, and the baked shish kebab was good. Plenty, but also reasonably priced. The ayran in the cup isn't great. It tastes okay, but I expected more variety.

The way of serving is very beautiful and easy, but you have to tell me if you want salt with the sandwich 😅

The overall quality was okay, but I was quite disappointed with the tea. It turned out to be just a simple tea bag, nothing special or worth recommending. I expected something more unique or flavorful.

40 € for such a small portion... and it really wasn't worth the eye candy... what a pity....

The seating is nice and the treatment is okay, but the food is not good at all. Unfortunately, the food was all cold and the shawarma was not good at all. Honestly, the bread was not well-seasoned and was not made hot. The bread did not match the sandwich picture, so it was expensive for nothing.

The restaurant offers excellent value for money. The food tastes exquisite, the service is attentive, and the portion sizes are remarkable for the price. Only the exterior design of the shopping center could potentially diminish the overall experience.

Best Maza has a lot to offer: very friendly staff at the counter and at the table, a diverse selection, and good value for money. Today we tried the Kufta (#18) and Motabaka (#20): very tasty, exceptionally prepared, and also excellent in terms of quantity. Therefore: we would definitely go back.

The food was great and there was nothing to complain about. We received a friendly welcome and were served quickly. BUT: The restaurant closes at 8:00 PM because it's located in a shopping center. It wasn't even 8:00 PM yet, and the chairs were already being put up, after which the remaining guests were checked out. I understand if they close at 8:00 PM and start cleaning up, but it was almost like being thrown out, and we didn't feel comfortable at all. One reason not to come back. 🙁 At the neighboring restaurant, guests were allowed to eat in peace, and no employees even started cleaning up.

First, I'd like to thank the staff. So friendly, attentive, personable, and very customer-friendly. The ambiance was like a dream from 1001 Nights 😍 beautifully decorated. The food was so delicious. This pretty little shop is definitely going on my favorites list for Leipzig 👍 The next time I vacation here, you'll definitely be included. As a souvenir, here's a funny little photo. The star is purely for the looks. We were there yesterday. I thought you couldn't go wrong with cordon bleu. Yes, you could. The cheese sauce was mush with no cheese flavor. The coleslaw was also mixed with an indefinable substance. The meat had a strong taste of some spice I haven't figured out yet. And it was way too salty. Only the fries were good. A woman two tables away didn't eat hers either. My meal, by the way, came before the drinks. My husband's came much later. When I asked for the drinks, they finally arrived. My husband didn't have any complaints about his meal. But the salt was still on his lips two hours later 🤨

Not only was the food delicious, but the price-performance ratio was also absolutely perfect. The staff were extremely friendly, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The restaurant is located in the mall, on the lower level (level -1), and is very convenient to reach. A big thank you to the owners for this great experience. I will definitely be back!

I decided to spend my lunch break at Best Mazza today, and given the hefty price tag of €18.50 for a grilled plate with two meat skewers, I had high expectations. Everything was perfect until I placed my order. But then the time passed without me enjoying a meal. After about 30 minutes, I finally pulled the ripcord and told an employee that my lunch break was over. I asked them to pack my food, which took another 10 minutes. Bottom line: I took the cold food home and heated it up in the microwave. Sorry, but that was my first and last visit to this place.

Sensational food. We were here for lunch and it was delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes, and they were all very, very good. The portions are very large, so the price/performance ratio is absolutely right. The service was friendly and the ambiance was also nice. I can only recommend eating here.

As for the food, everything was great except (kofta) minced meat on the grill, it was gray. For the minced meat, you could put 3, well, alas, the staff deserved 10

I had BestMaza cater my wedding (German/Syrian). After we had a rehearsal dinner with them, everything went wonderfully. They provided wonderful support and service! All the guests were very satisfied. I can only recommend them!

Shish Tawook skewer with hummus, garlic sauce, and fries as a side dish to take away: Reading through the reviews, I'm led to believe that I only received one skewer instead of the two chicken skewers listed on the menu. My package contained only 6-8 pieces of meat... Judging by the other pictures, the amount would have been just over one skewer... What a shame! The food itself is very tasty, and the presentation is attractively packaged. The restaurant was very clean and well-designed, the staff was very friendly, and you can pay by card.

In the food court of the Höfe am Brühl, between fashion chains, neon lights, and the monotony of food chains, there's this one place that simply does everything right: Best Maza. There are no sloppy compromises here, just the freshest ingredients, richly seasoned falafel, creamy hummus, and avocado that doesn't taste like it's from a refrigerator. I've been there a few times now, and they've expanded considerably. Quality? Consistently strong. Portions? Fair and filling. Value for money? Absolutely solid. My personal highlight: the falafel and avocado plate. Always a hit. Conclusion: If you want to eat really well, quickly, and yet with soul in the city -> head to Best Maza. No frills, no fast-food blah. Simply honest, damn delicious food with character. And extra hummus. Always extra hummus.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I love oriental cuisine, and my daughter surprised me with this wonderful restaurant. I felt like I was on vacation... in my favorite countries. The food was indescribable; I've never eaten anything like it before, even though I eat oriental food quite often. The service was incredibly friendly, and the ambiance was simply gorgeous. Thank you for this unforgettable afternoon. I'll definitely be back... when I'm back in Leipzig.

A very beautiful Middle Eastern restaurant with excellent quality food. We had two Adana kebab sandwiches (one was the supreme) served in baguettes—and we absolutely loved them! You don’t often find this kind of combination, and it felt really special. We loved everything, and the prices were very reasonable too. Definitely coming back again soon!

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, because 45 minutes after ordering two simple bowls with a server, we didn't get anything to eat and had to leave the restaurant hungry. Several servers milled around during that time, and no one asked why we were sitting at an empty table. Even after asking at the cashier, we didn't get anything for another 10 minutes.

The renovation was very successful. A cozy atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating. You can order digitally on the board right at the entrance. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is still fantastic. Plentiful and incredibly delicious. 🥰

I went to Best Maza in Leipzig and had a grilled platter with rice, hummus, and bread. Everything was delicious, freshly made, and well-seasoned. The meat was juicy, and the hummus was delicious with a pomegranate on top – I love it! So many people say the portions are large and the price is reasonable. For me, the food was a bit small for the price. I expected more, because the plate looks big but there isn't much in it. Nevertheless, the taste was excellent and the service was friendly. The place is clean and beautifully decorated. I might come back for other dishes.

I ate at the best Maza Restaurant in Leipzig and was unfortunately very disappointed. I ordered a plate of foul and a plate of falafel. Both were disappointing in taste and didn't reflect the Syrian style I'm used to. The foul was carelessly prepared and seemed unprofessional, as was the falafel. Furthermore, the price was completely overpriced compared to the quality of the food; what was served was definitely not worth the high price. The only positive thing I noticed was the friendly staff; the waitresses were really nice and attentive. Unfortunately, that alone isn't enough to create a good dining experience.

The motabaka in the clay pot consisted of potato wedges and tomato sauce, which was a little disappointing. It's not clear on the menu that these are potato wedges instead of fresh potatoes, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered the dish. Therefore, I find the price-performance ratio for this dish unreasonable. The starters were good and the service was very friendly and accommodating.

The best Arabic restaurant in Leipzig! We went to the Ramadan open buffet. There was a large selection of dishes, all of which tasted very good. Definitely recommended.

We had dinner there in the courtyards today. I found the mixed plate for almost twelve euros with three blobs of hummus, BabaGanoush, 3 halloumi and falafel very disappointing. The salad is very unimaginative and the taste overall is very monotonous. It somehow lacks the freshness and balance of flavors. A bit of tabbouleh, for example, would be good on the plate, instead of the usual iceberg and tomato mix. Everything is there on display. But it doesn't really end up on the plate. The prices are calculated very generously. I wouldn't come back again. Unfortunately it wasn't convincing.
