Not good behaviour. Their service is very slow and they speak very rude. Not good staff .

A disaster, I didn't eat anything but the waiters were so rude that we got up straight away. We were yelled at for choosing this table because there were still plates there even though a lady had sent us there, really so rude, never again even if it tasted good!!!

I always like the food and there is a very large selection. I find the information provided by others about the staff unjustified, as the food is actually always there quickly.

The restaurant is rightly very popular! There is only one thing that really bothers me. There are about 2 warm, vegetarian dishes and both are terribly SPICY! I would eat here much more often if I didn't always have to choose sushi (or pain).

When we asked, we were not allowed to sit at a table in the sun as it was only for “special guests”. We were not and will not be guests.

We waited for more than an hour and watched as new customers came, ordered and received their food. Then another false dish was brought. Tables are very close together, so you can hear the neighbors' conversations (ours were nice), but you can barely fit through. Food itself average, typical mix of Vietnamese and sushi.

Incredibly delicious, fresh sushi! We shared the best friends record and were super happy. In my opinion the nigiri were particularly good. The service was quick and friendly! I can only recommend the restaurant!

The food was, as always, very tasty. However, after almost an hour we were asked to leave, even though we had reserved in advance. Our drinks hadn't been finished yet and we were still brought the bill because other guests seemed to be waiting for our table. It's very unfortunate when you're looking forward to a nice evening in a restaurant, but then feel like you're in a snack bar.

It’s a great Japanese Cuisine Restaurant with great Sushi and Rice Dishes. But one negative thing is that once we got Takeout and the Avocado was a little mouldy but other than that it’s a five star restaurant.

We like to eat here regularly because it is delicious and cozy. One star deducted because it quickly becomes very loud if the restaurant is even half full. It seems to echo a bit strongly.

It was amazing 🤩 we went to eat Mexican food for the first time. The staff was really nice and welcoming. The place was super clean and nice. I loved the food and service alot.

Very good, coordinated selection and exceptionally good quality. Especially the special sushi rolls. You really go home very satisfied. It's worth coming early or making a reservation.

I can't speak for the food but "best friends" is definitely false advertising. I politely asked to use the toilet in an emergency and they flat out refused. Maybe because there were only male waiters around.. I mean, ask for your 50 cents or 1 euro if you must but refusing a woman access to sanitation is extremely ruthless.

The food here is simply magical, fresh and juicy, but we have noticed that the portions of sauces have decreased over the years. I come here regularly with a group of friends. Unfortunately, the staff often seems stressed and unfriendly, and they have mixed up our orders a few times. It is disappointing because this place could easily deserve 5 stars otherwise. Despite these issues, the atmosphere is pleasant, with a nicely designed interior and a half-open kitchen where you can watch the delicious sushi being prepared.

Great restaurant, food and drinks great. A visit is always worth it.

We have eaten here twice in the evening. Once outside and once inside. We had reservations both times for a table. Staff are friendly and nice. They have menus in English. Food is great. Both times, we got sushi platter for a starter between us. Main course we would have got Salmon or duck curry, or a beef hot plate. All were delicious. They have quite a few non alcoholic beers to choose from. Highly recommended, we'll go again when in Berlin.

My daughter and I go to this restaurant regularly, except for the service, we were always satisfied. Today I ordered a soup sushi and baked duck with red curry. After waiting for ages, about 45 minutes, the food arrived. The sauce was under the duck and the rice During the meal I noticed a lot that she had sauce floating in the oil, then I ate some more rice and I was so sick and I was so sick. I then told her about it, but the meal was still charged in full and when I wanted to pay with a card she boldly asked me how much So I never want to tip again!!! Instead of not charging for the food or at least offering a drink she wanted a tip hahah so sorry but I won't go there anymore

A classic rice noodle salad, which normally consists of a lot of herbs, flavors, limes, spices, etc., was barely palatable. Rice noodles and lettuce with what feels like water as a dressing for €12 can save you money. The sushi was good for that.

We were there last night before a concert and were extremely disappointed! We waited 50 minutes (!) for our drinks and almost 1.5 hours for the food!!! Instead of serving restaurant guests, they apparently prefer to serve the delivery people who came in droves to pick up food ordered from outside. All the guests at the tables next to us were just as stunned as we were. The staff was overwhelmed and unfriendly, food/drinks were almost “slapped” at us, but when we paid we were asked if we didn’t want to leave a tip. No thanks, we didn't want to - after all that! The food is ok, but unfortunately it doesn't even begin to outweigh the negative surroundings. Never this restaurant again!

My roommate was worked there few days for trail. But his experience was very bad. Restaurant staff were racist to him. He is just 20 years old and on first day all staff was making fun of him and threatening him. On 2nd day he is vegetarian and they behaved wrongly.

After waiting 10 minutes in the store, I went somewhere else to eat. The lady didn't do anything, even though the store was almost empty. Maybe I was transparent too?! If the waitress is incompetent, I don't want to know what the food is like!

Unfortunately disappointing. The ambience and furnishings are nice, but there is a very hectic atmosphere due to the delivery people picking up food every minute. However, you have to wait forever for your order (even the drinks took a long time), which I find disproportionate. The food was quite good, but it couldn't make up for the long wait and uncomfortable hectic pace.

Very tasty and fresh sushi! I've been coming for years and am finally writing a review as they really deserve it. Reservations are recommended in the evening. The service could be friendlier and sometimes more attentive - especially at lunchtime, when there is less to do anyway - but a star deduction for that.

5 star Sushi, all ingredients extremely fresh and delicious. Outside seating great for summer and meals are quite affordably priced.

Came in by myself on a weeknight. Ordered a bier and the salmon set and added a 4-piece Dragon roll. Best sushi I’ve had in Europe. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Fair price. Bill was approximately 26€

We ordered sushi on uber eats and specified we wanted utensils I.e. chopsticks. I also called the restaurant just after placing the order to request the chopsticks. Of course the food arrives and there are no chopsticks included and when I called the restaurant their response was that I should go there to collect them. Terrible terrible service. Will not order again as the staff are incompetent and this ruined our experience.

Wir sind öfter im Best Friends, weil das Essen lecker ist. Der Service ist freundlich, aber nicht sehr aufmerksam - man muss sich immer wieder in Erinnerung bringen zum Bestellen oder Bezahlen. Für ein schnelles Mittagessen eher nicht geeignet, da die LIeferservices Vorrang haben und man teilweise lange auf das Essen wartet.

Over all a ok place the food is fine and the sauces are very bad, but the atmosphere was amazing. But the staff barely knew English so if you don't talk German I don't recommend. Ps. The drinks are very good even amazing

Ich gehe in das Restaurant schon seit vielen Jahren und es hat mich noch nie enttäuscht! Super Service, Einrichtung und essen. Der Lachs und das Sushi sind das beste in ganz Berlin! Vor allem die Lachs-avocado crunchy Rolls und generell der Reis in dem Sushi sind köstlich. Yaki-tori und Miso Suppe sind super als Vorspeisen oder für den kleinen Hunger! Tolle getränke wie Jasmin Tee oder Mango lassis auch dazu!

Die Kombination aus einem Glas gekühltem Rose mit Avocado Maki, ist schwer zu toppen. Der Außenbereich ist funktional, die Tischdeko nicht vorhanden. Dafür geht es stets auch ohne Anmeldung/ Reservierung. Der Service ist nicht bemüht eine persönliche Bindung aufbauen. Da darf es auch schon einmal länger dauern mit den Getränken. Die Qualität des Sushis ist gut. Die Kompositionen sind wenig innovativ. Die Karte ist stylisch und hält ein Angebot bereit, dass sich in Teilen auch an Vegetarier*innen richtet. Die Cocktails überzeugen in der Qualität. Insgesamt ein Go-to-Place für den unkomplizierten Freitagabend.

I ordered take out, sushi was good and prices were reasonable. Service was friendly over the phone and the place seemed busy (with a nice outdoor seating ) when I stopped by to pickup my food.

Fleisch- und Pommeslastig. Fleisch sehr gut, Pommes okay, Brot schlecht. Portionen riesig, Bier nur okay. Viel zu teuer, Preis-Leistung nicht gut.

Wir mögen es hier. Das Sushi ist lecker und wird toll angerichtet. Auch die (alkoholfreien) Drinks sind lecker und machen etwas her. Einzig die Sitzmöbel ohne Lehne und mit Schieflage draußen lassen den Aufenthalt etwas kürzer ausfallen, als vielleicht gewollt 😉

The service is unfriendly and the prices are misleading!

To be honest I don’t understand the claims about best sushi in Berlin or even in Prenzlauer Berg. There are much more better sushi places around with better prices. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience here. Food was mediocre and we had to wait for an hour for it. This situation was handled very poorly. Alas.

Great sushi spot in Prenzlauer Berg and the prices are fair. My go to sushi place.
