The food here is simply magical, fresh and juicy, but we have noticed that the portions of sauces have decreased over the years. I come here regularly with a group of friends. Unfortunately, the staff often seems stressed and unfriendly, and they have mixed up our orders a few times. It is disappointing because this place could easily deserve 5 stars otherwise. Despite these issues, the atmosphere is pleasant, with a nicely designed interior and a half-open kitchen where you can watch the delicious sushi being prepared.

My daughter and I go to this restaurant regularly, except for the service, we were always satisfied. Today I ordered a soup sushi and baked duck with red curry. After waiting for ages, about 45 minutes, the food arrived. The sauce was under the duck and the rice During the meal I noticed a lot that she had sauce floating in the oil, then I ate some more rice and I was so sick and I was so sick. I then told her about it, but the meal was still charged in full and when I wanted to pay with a card she boldly asked me how much So I never want to tip again!!! Instead of not charging for the food or at least offering a drink she wanted a tip hahah so sorry but I won't go there anymore

If you're a fan of Asian cuisine, particularly sushi and udon noodles, this place is a gem worth discovering. The broth is rich and savory. Whether you opt for the vegetarian or non-vegetarian versions, you won't be disappointed.

We love love this restaurant and the food there! We've been eating there for years. It's incredibly delicious every time and no matter what you order, you'll never regret it! Everything is simply delicious and always made from fresh ingredients. The service is always friendly and we never had to wait long for inconsistent food. We can only recommend this shop!

A classic rice noodle salad, which normally consists of a lot of herbs, flavors, limes, spices, etc., was barely palatable. Rice noodles and lettuce with what feels like water as a dressing for €12 can save you money. The sushi was good for that.

We were there last night before a concert and were extremely disappointed! We waited 50 minutes (!) for our drinks and almost 1.5 hours for the food!!! Instead of serving restaurant guests, they apparently prefer to serve the delivery people who came in droves to pick up food ordered from outside. All the guests at the tables next to us were just as stunned as we were. The staff was overwhelmed and unfriendly, food/drinks were almost “slapped” at us, but when we paid we were asked if we didn’t want to leave a tip. No thanks, we didn't want to - after all that! The food is ok, but unfortunately it doesn't even begin to outweigh the negative surroundings. Never this restaurant again!

My roommate was worked there few days for trail. But his experience was very bad. Restaurant staff were racist to him. He is just 20 years old and on first day all staff was making fun of him and threatening him. On 2nd day he is vegetarian and they behaved wrongly.

After waiting 10 minutes in the store, I went somewhere else to eat. The lady didn't do anything, even though the store was almost empty. Maybe I was transparent too?! If the waitress is incompetent, I don't want to know what the food is like!

Unfortunately disappointing. The ambience and furnishings are nice, but there is a very hectic atmosphere due to the delivery people picking up food every minute. However, you have to wait forever for your order (even the drinks took a long time), which I find disproportionate. The food was quite good, but it couldn't make up for the long wait and uncomfortable hectic pace.

Very tasty and fresh sushi! I've been coming for years and am finally writing a review as they really deserve it. Reservations are recommended in the evening. The service could be friendlier and sometimes more attentive - especially at lunchtime, when there is less to do anyway - but a star deduction for that.

5 star Sushi, all ingredients extremely fresh and delicious. Outside seating great for summer and meals are quite affordably priced.

Came in by myself on a weeknight. Ordered a bier and the salmon set and added a 4-piece Dragon roll. Best sushi I’ve had in Europe. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Fair price. Bill was approximately 26€

We ordered sushi on uber eats and specified we wanted utensils I.e. chopsticks. I also called the restaurant just after placing the order to request the chopsticks. Of course the food arrives and there are no chopsticks included and when I called the restaurant their response was that I should go there to collect them. Terrible terrible service. Will not order again as the staff are incompetent and this ruined our experience.

Wir sind öfter im Best Friends, weil das Essen lecker ist. Der Service ist freundlich, aber nicht sehr aufmerksam - man muss sich immer wieder in Erinnerung bringen zum Bestellen oder Bezahlen. Für ein schnelles Mittagessen eher nicht geeignet, da die LIeferservices Vorrang haben und man teilweise lange auf das Essen wartet.

Ich gehe in das Restaurant schon seit vielen Jahren und es hat mich noch nie enttäuscht! Super Service, Einrichtung und essen. Der Lachs und das Sushi sind das beste in ganz Berlin! Vor allem die Lachs-avocado crunchy Rolls und generell der Reis in dem Sushi sind köstlich. Yaki-tori und Miso Suppe sind super als Vorspeisen oder für den kleinen Hunger! Tolle getränke wie Jasmin Tee oder Mango lassis auch dazu!

Die Kombination aus einem Glas gekühltem Rose mit Avocado Maki, ist schwer zu toppen. Der Außenbereich ist funktional, die Tischdeko nicht vorhanden. Dafür geht es stets auch ohne Anmeldung/ Reservierung. Der Service ist nicht bemüht eine persönliche Bindung aufbauen. Da darf es auch schon einmal länger dauern mit den Getränken. Die Qualität des Sushis ist gut. Die Kompositionen sind wenig innovativ. Die Karte ist stylisch und hält ein Angebot bereit, dass sich in Teilen auch an Vegetarier*innen richtet. Die Cocktails überzeugen in der Qualität. Insgesamt ein Go-to-Place für den unkomplizierten Freitagabend.

Fleisch- und Pommeslastig. Fleisch sehr gut, Pommes okay, Brot schlecht. Portionen riesig, Bier nur okay. Viel zu teuer, Preis-Leistung nicht gut.

Wir mögen es hier. Das Sushi ist lecker und wird toll angerichtet. Auch die (alkoholfreien) Drinks sind lecker und machen etwas her. Einzig die Sitzmöbel ohne Lehne und mit Schieflage draußen lassen den Aufenthalt etwas kürzer ausfallen, als vielleicht gewollt 😉

To be honest I don’t understand the claims about best sushi in Berlin or even in Prenzlauer Berg. There are much more better sushi places around with better prices. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience here. Food was mediocre and we had to wait for an hour for it. This situation was handled very poorly. Alas.

Dieser Sushi laden, war für meine Geschmacksknospen in ein wahres Fest der Aromen und Texturen entführt. Von Anfang bis Ende war das Erlebnis einfach spektakulär. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich schon viele Sushi-Restaurants ausprobiert habe, aber dieses hat meine Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurde ich von einem freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal begrüßt. Die authentische Atmosphäre mit ihrer schlichten Eleganz vermittelte mir das Gefühl, direkt nach Japan versetzt worden zu sein. Die gedämpfte Beleuchtung und die geschmackvolle Dekoration trugen zur angenehmen Stimmung bei, die den Abend begleitete. Die Speisekarte bot eine große Auswahl an Sushi-Kreationen, die alle mit frischen und hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet wurden. Jeder Bissen war eine Offenbarung. Die Sushi-Rollen waren kunstvoll präsentiert und die Farben sowie die Texturen der verschiedenen Zutaten harmonierten perfekt miteinander. Ob klassisches Nigiri, köstliche Maki-Rollen oder sorgfältig arrangierte Sashimi-Platten - jedes Stück war ein wahres Geschmackserlebnis. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Sorgfalt, mit der die Sushi-Meister ihre Handwerkskunst ausüben. Sie zeigten eine unglaubliche Präzision und Leidenschaft bei der Zubereitung der einzelnen Sushi-Kreationen. Jeder Handgriff wurde mit größter Genauigkeit ausgeführt, und man konnte förmlich die jahrhundertealte Tradition und Perfektion spüren, die in jedes Stück Sushi floss. Was den Service angeht, kann ich nur Lob aussprechen. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie hatten ein tiefgreifendes Wissen über die verschiedenen Sushi-Sorten und gaben gerne Empfehlungen. Meine Fragen wurden geduldig beantwortet, und ich fühlte mich wirklich umsorgt und gut betreut. Ein weiteres Highlight des Abends war die Präsentation der Gerichte. Jedes Sushi wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail auf wunderschönem Geschirr serviert. Die Kombination aus den farbenfrohen Zutaten und dem eleganten Geschirr machte das Essen zu einem wahren Fest für die Sinne. Alles in allem war das Sushi-Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant außergewöhnlich. Die Kombination aus exquisitem Geschmack, kunstvoller Präsentation und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft machte den Abend zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Wenn Sie ein Fan von Sushi sind oder einfach nur feinste japanische Küche genießen möchten, dann kann ich dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch, um weitere kulinarische Kreationen dieses fantastischen Sushi-Restaurants zu entdecken.

Wir sind über Jahre gerne dorthin gegangen- mittlerweile sind die Preise verdoppelt worden und die Portionen halbiert- 8.50Euro für die Spicy Roll mit 5 Segmenten ist echt TouristenNepp... Schade.

Wir hatten ne sushi Platte und Miso Suppe vorneweg zum Hände wärmen 😅 Geschmacklich oberer Durchschnitt zu anderen sushi Restaurants in Berlin. Preislich durch die Nähe zum Mauerpark auch oberer Durchschnitt. Aber wer in der Nähe ist macht nichts falsch. 😋👍

Wir waren Wochentags gegen 19:30 dort und der Laden war, im Gegensatz zu umliegenden Restaurants, voll. Das alleine spricht schon für sich. Die Bedienung war freundlich, das Essen sehr lecker und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis wirklich gut. Kleines Manko, auf dem WC könnte etwas gründlicher gereinigt werden.

Ehrlich gesagt, mehr erwartet. Wird als eins der besten Sushi Restaurants im Google gepriesen. Eher mittelmäßig.

Dieser Laden ist perfekt für ein treffen mit Freunden. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre sehr authentisch. Das essen kam sehr schnell und war weitaus mehr als zufriedenstellend. Ich sehe tatsächlich keine Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten. Voll verdiente 5 Sterne

Durch einen Tipp sind wir im Best Friends gelandet. Mit dem Essen, der Bedienung und dem weiteren Drumherum waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Sushi und die Nudel-/Reisgerichte waren mega lecker 😋. Absolut empfehlenswert. Zum Abendessen ist es sinnvoll, vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren.

The best sushi I had in a long time. Also the honey tea made me feel warm and cozy. The whole decoration was beautifully arranged and the staff was kind to us. The whole place felt authentically Japanese.

We ordered dinner for two and half the delivery was missing. When we called them, it took 5 minutes for them to understand the problem, then they acknowledged they forgot the items and said they would call back. They never did. The items we received were of poor quality. There's plenty of better restaurants in prenzlauer berg, so better skip this one

Conoscevo questo ristorante da molto tempo, ed era un bel pò che non ci tornavo, il voto non è cambiato, sempre 5 stelle meritate. Il locale è molto intimo, pulito ed elegante. Un menù molto vario con diversa selezione di sia di sushi che altro, i prezzi sempre ottimi. Servizio ok e veloce, ed un sushi molto buono e fresco.

Wir waren zu fünft ohne Reservierung an einem Freitagmittag dort. Ohne Probleme haben wir einen Tisch bekommen. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam aber auch sehr wortkarg, was leider immer unfreundlich wirkt. Sie hatten für veganuary eine zusätzliche rein vegane Karte, auch für Business Lunch. Die normale Speisekarte ist ziemlich fleischlastig im Vergleich zu vielen anderen asiatischen Restaurants. Das Essen hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen sind großzügig. Kartenzahlung ist ab 10€ möglich.

Très bonne expérience. Sommes revenus chaque fois que nous sommes à Berlin, car contrairement à la plupart des restaurants de cette ville, l’accueil est sympathique, le service rapide et la cuisine fort goûteuse . Le seul bémol est que le personnel est très bruyant, car les employés crient entre eux!
