Tolle Fritten und wirklich liebes Personal. Bei über 30°C hatte vorm Laden ein Rabe probleme und war extrem dehydriert Berts hat uns Wasser für das arme Tier gegeben. Allein dafür 10 Sterne. ❤️ und danke ans Personal.

Fantastisches Essen, unglaublicher Geschmack, einfach einzigartig. Ich hatte einen Smashed Cheeseburger (der ist wirklich der Hammer 😍😇) und Berts Poutine – beides war fantastisch, mehr als ausreichend und superlecker. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Man wartet leider immer relativ lange, aber das Essen ist super !

Eine tolle vollwertige Mahlzeit und eine Bereicherung für Kassel! Ich kann die Loaded Cheeseburger Fries wirklich wärmstens empfehlen! Smashed Fleisch Patty mit Käse mit Salat und frischen weiteren Zutaten. Die Sauce passt super dazu und macht es auch wirklich zu einer ganzen Mahlzeit! Ich wurde definitiv satt.

Hatte die Loaded Teriyaki Chicken Fries und die waren super 🤤🍗

Portionen waren schon mal besser. Aber qualitativ sehr gutes Essen. Das besondere am Essen hat aber trotzdem gefehlt

Ob es der beste Burger in ganz Kassel war, weiß ich nicht aber er war gut 👍 Pommes waren schön knusprig BBQ Sauce🤔 nix besonderes. Thekencrew war sehr freundlich. Würde wieder kommen 👍

Sehr guter Laden, immer gut besucht, trotzdem kriegt man das Essen sehr schnell. Man kann vor Ort essen oder mitnehmen. Alles schmeckt sehr exzellent von der Speisekarte. Immer wieder ein Besuch wert.

Wir waren schon öfter bei BERTS und können ganz klar sagen: Hier gibt es aus unserer Sicht den besten Smashburger in ganz Deutschland! 🍔🔥 Aber ehrlich – egal ob Pastrami-Burger, Double-Baked-Cheeseburger oder Fried Chicken Burger: Die Zutaten sind perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt und man merkt einfach, dass hier mit richtig viel Liebe gekocht wird ❤️ Trotz des oft vollen Ladens herrscht immer ein super Flow – und das Team bleibt dabei durchgehend freundlich und herzlich. Ein riesiges Dankeschön besonders an Maik, Daniel und Juri – absolute Herzensmenschen! 🙌 Für uns ist es jedes Mal so: 👉 Wenn wir hier essen gehen, fühlt es sich an wie nach Hause kommen. Im großen und ganzen richtig geiler laden, essen ist top und das personal ist richt geil gelaunt, waren heute am 1 Mai da essen und der eine große angestellte mit der cap auf hat uns sogar die musik im laden aussuchen lassen. Der beste Burger in ganz Kassel, mit dem lustigem Team dahinter, sind immer am lachen und haben scheinbar Spaß daran zu dort zu arbeiten. Hier und da gibt es mal n Klecks oder fleck die mir als Koch selbst auffallen aber da sie scheinbar viel zu tun haben kann man in dem Moment auch mal drüber hinweg schauen. Auch weil sie sobald sie Luft haben direkt die Lappen schwingen. Über die Pommes müssen wir nichts sagen. Einfach überragende Fritten. Auch die verschiedenen Gerichte sind nicht nur einfach plump zusammen gestellt, da steckt schon etwas liebe und Genialität dahinter. Selbst die Käse sauce (jeder Koch / Mensch kennt sie,... aus der Dose), ist selbst gemacht und schmeckt auch dementsprechend gut. Pulled pork oder turkey ist devinitiv selbst gemacht und schmeckt dementsprechend auch einfach super und nicht wie bei vielen "Metro Müll der im Kombi dämpfer aufgewärmt wird" . Alles in allem einfach nur zu empfehlen. Probiert es aus!! VERTRAUT MIR!

Absolut mein Lieblings-Burgerladen in Kassel! Das Personal ist jedes Mal super freundlich und herzlich – man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Die Location ist richtig schön und das gesamte Konzept ist stimmig und durchdacht. Die Smashed Burger sind einfach der Wahnsinn, vor allem der Oklahoma Fried Onion Burger – mein absoluter Favorit! Ich habe schon viele Burger an verschiedenen Orten probiert, aber hierher komme ich immer am liebsten zurück. Hier passt einfach alles. Klare 5 Sterne!

Essen ist gut. Leider zum wiederholten Mal die Sonderzutaten auf den Burger vergessen und auch Getränk wurde nicht geliefert. Dann brauch man auch kein Menü bestellen Schade eigentlich

März 2026: Nach wie vor lecker und freundliche Mitarbeiter! Ein Besuch lohnt sich! Vor 1 Jahr: Personal war super nett und fix ging es auch, obwohl der Laden gut besucht war. Sitzmöglichkeiten vorhanden, wenn auch begrenzt. Gute Auswahl an Speisen vorhanden. Verarbeitete Zutaten sind frisch. Geschmacklich top. Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Die Bestellung ging schnell und unproblematisch, das Essen war lecker (Currywurst Spezial), die Mitarbeitenden waren freundlich und auf Zack. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Wirklich leckeres Essen! Aber die Sitze sind schrecklich. Mega dreckig! Das muss doch wirklich nicht sein.

War heute um 17 Uhr dort und habe 1 kleine Pommes mit 2 Saucen und 1 Cheeseburger für 16,40 € gegessen. Unverschämt laute Musik, dreckige Sitzhocker ! Für das Geld könnte man fast schon gepflegt Essen gehen. Der Gipfel der Frechheit war aber, als ich mich verabschiedet habe und in Richtung Ausgang ging , der Kommentar von einem Mitarbeiter "Danke fürs abräumen"!! Absolut dummdreistes Verhalten gegenüber Gästen.

Das Essen schmeckt meistens gut, aber wenn man was bestellen will, sollte man lieber die Finger von lassen. Nach 1,5 Stunden warten kommt ein Storno. Und das ist schon mehrmals passiert. Ein anderes mal musste man über 2 stunden auf das essen warten und jedes mal stand bei Lieferando, dass es in 15 Minuten da ist. Gibt doch lieber direkt an, dass es länger dauert und verarscht einen nicht. Und beim anruf war der Mitarbeiter sehr unfreundlich und ein anderes geht einfach keiner ran. Echt schade, weil das Essen an sich echt lecker ist.

Meine Frau ist multi Alergen. Die Mitarbeiter sind super bemüht Lösungen zu finden. Essen war sehr lecker und das Ambiente stimmte das ganze ab. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Der beste Burger in Kassel! Meiner Meinung nach ist das der beste Burger in der Stadt. Man schmeckt wirklich jede einzelne Zutat – alles ist frisch und perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Die Burger sind saftig und sehr lecker. Dazu kommt noch der super freundliche Service. Absolut empfehlenswert✌️💪🍔

Wir haben immer gerne dort gegessen. Heute haben wir essen bestellt was nicht beschriftet war. Es war nicht mehr möglich zuzuordnen was vegan, veggie und Totes Tier war. Einfach schrecklich konnten alles entsorgen.

Eine gute Wahl für Pommes oder Burger. Alles war hervorragend zubereitet. Die Currywurstsauce war perfekt. Freundlicher und effizienter Service. Die nette Kassiererin zeigte Verständnis für unsere Frage.

Der beste Burgerladen Kassels meiner Meinung nach, freundliche Mitarbeiter und gerechtfertigte Preise. Man schmeckt die Qualität der Zutaten und vorallem vom Fleisch. Ich empfehle den oklahoma onion Burger mit doppelt Fleisch.

Sehr sehr guter und empfehlenswerter Foodspot. Das Personal ist mega freundlich, die Musik und Ambiente ist einfach entspannt und man fühlt sich wohl. Natürlich ist das Essen dort auch einfach Bombe. Ich hatte dort Burger gegessen und war voll zufrieden, saftig und gut gewürzt so soll's doch sein. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und würde immer wieder dort hin.

The tables are usually uncleaned, and the staff is unfriendly and rather arrogant. Instead of preparing the food, they prefer to chat behind the counter. The food tastes good, although some of the fries are a bit soggy.

I think you guys are doing a really great job and your food is amazing. I've even eaten there in person, which was even better! But when I order from you at 8:00 AM and suddenly the order is shipped and it's supposed to take 50 minutes, and it includes poutine, it's just a real shame because everyone knows it won't last 50 minutes and it'll probably just be awful by then. It's such a pity, I'd really like to be able to enjoy your food to the fullest, but as it is, I'm not really interested in ordering from you anymore. Maybe something could be improved! Otherwise, I guess I'll have to eat at your place less often and just come in person when I do. That would be a real shame!

Anyone expecting regular fries will be sorely disappointed. Everyone else will leave here more than satisfied and happy. It's amazing what you can do with fries.

Very surprised, just a small corner shop. The fries tasted good, and the sauce also impressed me. The music was a bit loud, though, and there was a bit of a wait, but nothing too bad. If you're looking for a different kind of fast food experience, this is the place to go.

This is a fantastic spot for a quick, delicious meal. The atmosphere here is truly unique! The combination of the bright pink and green walls and the amazing pop-art gallery wall makes the space vibrant and fun. The design is modern industrial (exposed pipes, subway tile), but the lighting and wooden counter make it feel warm. Perfect for a quick, casual lunch or dinner. Definitely a great place for a quick photo, too!

Bert's has now become my main stop in the city center when I'm hungry and want to fill myself up. They not only serve ultra-delicious poutine, fries, and loaded fries, but also offer good burgers in set meals, etc. Bert's is priced in line with a set meal from other fast-food giants, but tastes ten times better and is also filling. The fries have a fantastic selection of toppings, and if you don't want any toppings, there's also a wide selection of sauces, all of which are delicious. The burgers are also delicious. The ambiance in the shop might take some getting used to for some, but I think it fits the shop very well. I highly recommend Bert's, especially if you're just visiting Kassel and need something quick but good to eat!

We've ordered from there twice now, the food is really delicious but the first delivery took about 1.5 hours and the second time they made us wait an hour, then canceled the order and stopped delivering to us even though we ordered 1.5 hours before closing time.

Visited on recommendation, stayed out of conviction. Bert's friterie served me the best burger I've had in a long time. Even though there were some waits due to the busy hours, the result was more than worth it. The place itself is chic, and the staff are very attentive. The Oklahoma Double Smash Burger was a real treat. Juicy, well-seasoned, a delight for the palate. All burger connoisseurs from near and far shouldn't miss this. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to devour another poutine, but what I saw at the tables around me gives me hope for a return soon. True to the motto: Here I am people, here I dig in.

I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before closing time this evening, just hoping the kitchen was still open. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by how warmly and hospitably all the staff welcomed me, even though I was busy keeping the place running right before closing time. Many thanks to the warm and accommodating team; I felt very comfortable! The food was delicious, especially the smashed cheeseburger!

I had a cheeseburger, which was delicious. The atmosphere is very nice. All the employees, except for one, were super friendly. Only one employee named Daniel was extremely rude to us.

Saturday afternoon, I encountered four waitresses, each one in a worse mood than the other. No greetings, everyone just pulled a face... That was the last time. It's a real shame that the cheerful young man is no longer there. The food took half an hour to arrive, and it was cold by the time it arrived. Never again ...

We've ordered from Bert's Frittierie several times because the food is truly delicious – there's nothing to complain about! The quality and taste are top-notch and exactly what you'd expect from a place like this. What's always disappointing, unfortunately, is the delivery time. You sometimes wait up to two hours for the food to arrive – that's simply too long. Even worse: You can't reach anyone by phone if you want to ask what's going on. You feel completely abandoned and simply can't rely on the food arriving on time. As much as we like the food – we won't be ordering again in the future!

The burger has the potential to be among the top three internationally! The best smashed burger I've ever eaten. The fries are 10/10! The only thing missing is a rock-solid milkshake, which would make it 10/10 overall, but even without the shake, it's 9.5/10.

My first time at Bert's Friterie, I ordered classic currywurst with fries. The fries weren't too salty, and the currywurst tasted okay. The fries are made from mashed potatoes, and I'm a big fan of homemade ones. There are burgers and bowls to choose from, too. The restaurant isn't far from the train station. You can eat there without hesitation. I give it a 4.0/5.0.

It was delicious, but the portions are ridiculous. The large portion is like a small one, and I don't even want to know how small the small portion is. Not even remotely filling up on fries for €6 is pretty outrageous.

I was really excited to come here, as I've only ever had smash burgers in Berlin. Unfortunately, I was completely disappointed here. For €10, you get a tiny, soggy burger without fries. The burger was also burnt and really small. The staff was also really unfriendly. What a shame.

Update July 2022: The food is still good, nothing has changed! Keep it up! Ordered there today. The smashed burgers are super delicious. The poutine, however, was amazing. I'm not usually a big fan of fries, but I've always been into poutine. Both the classic version with gravy and cheese and the cheeseburger version I had were truly impressively delicious. The ingredients were all fresh, and the fries were far better than the typical frozen takeaway. The burgers were juicy, and the buns looked like they didn't come from a Metro supermarket. The price/performance ratio is truly outstanding for the quality you get. €30 for two burgers and two (really large) poutines is perfectly reasonable. We couldn't quite finish the portion between the two of us. The delivery time was quite long at just under 2 hours. But hey: It's Sunday, it's COVID-19, and I knew it from the comments. Given the location, I can well imagine that Berts' wasn't intended as a delivery service, but rather for walk-in customers. Unfortunately, that's largely out of the question due to the coronavirus pandemic. We will definitely order from here again and, as soon as the coronavirus pandemic allows, we'll stop by in person!

Mit einer der besten Burger die ich jemals gegessen habe! Nur zu empfehlen. Ich hatte den Pastrami Burger und Pommes. Portionen sind auch sehr gut!

Fries like in Antwerp (Belgium), Berlin currywurst with Bert's special homemade curry sauce and powder like in Berlin. Always good music, often great party music in the evenings, super nice staff, funny decorations, definitely my favorite shop in Kassel for fries for years. It doesn't get any better. Just come by, but please not all at once, I also need a seat haha.

We were here on May 2nd, 2025, although we always like to come here, on that day there was a catastrophe waiting for food for half an hour, although everyone after us got their food quicker than us, only after warning twice did we get our food, I have to say that my food was not fully prepared, it was missing green stuff that was in the description, we are thinking about whether we will come back here again.

Really good fast food restaurant. There is a great selection of vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes. I particularly like the different versions of the poutines and all the sauces. It's always a taste experience. The food is always ready quickly and the staff is very friendly.

It used to be really good, but unfortunately it has deteriorated considerably. Ordered for 6:30 p.m., delivered at 7:15 p.m. and then 1/3 was forgotten. Unavailable by telephone.

Unfortunately, the best burgers and fries in Kassel are still only mediocre. Any halfway ambitious hobby chef can do it better. What I find particularly cheeky is how rude the staff is (4/4 visits, different employees).

Yesterday I had to wait over 30 minutes for my currywurst fries even though 3 people behind the counter were frantically trying to process the guests' orders. The shop wasn't even half full and yet the orders at the next table (without tomatoes and onions) were not carried out correctly. Bert should really try to optimize the processes, because every snack bar manages to put a currywurst fries on the plate within 5 minutes.

Whenever we are in Kassel, we stop here for dinner. We have never been disappointed. The method of preparation is simply great and the taste is perfect. I can really warmly recommend it to everyone.

Citizens have lost a lot of quality even though the patty is smashed raw in the middle due to too many orders. Berts is ruining the business in the city with the deliveries. My suggestion is to close the shop and just concentrate on delivery and offer normal prices for delivery and not 18€ for a citizen. It's really sad that the best citizen's shop sucks like that. Waiting time for a citizen of 1 hour is just too much and if it's still raw it doesn't make it any better. It was actually there every week but I'll avoid it from now on. It's a shame

I was actually always very satisfied. I won poutines twice in an Instagram competition, when I wanted to redeem it I was told it wasn't possible because the boss had changed. It's a shame, it could perhaps have been mentioned in the competition. We also waited a long time for our food and then got the wrong one. It was very disorganized on site.

It's very tasty but I had to wait almost thirty minutes for my food and they kept swapping the food the whole time. Generally very expensive too. Think three times about whether you want to come

Food is good, but a 60 minute wait for 2 burgers and 2x fries is really too much of a good thing if you order on site.

You can really praise it here. Delivering burgers is not that easy and soft fries and soupy buns are actually standard. The boys and girls here do it really well. Burger comes hot, buns pre-buttered and not souped, burger properly smashed and well seasoned and very well topped. Very tasty onions, probably pre-pickled with the fresh onions and the fries are to die for. Crispy, hot and really tasty. Next time I'll definitely come with a poutine because I'm really looking forward to the delivery. The guacamole we ordered was also really tasty. IF you could make a slight compromise at all, it would be with the buns. They were good and ok, but there is still potential for improvement. But that's crying at a high level. Very happy again, we are already looking forward to the next time.

You are what you eat: Anyone who eats here is a rustic, consistent type who still offers variety and therefore variety. . The ambience is somewhere between retro and pop art. You can argue about taste, but not about true class. . The employees bring these with them. I experience them as mirror types, whoever smiles also gets a smile. Lovable, humorous, charming. . The food was delicious, unfortunately the service was catastrophic! After we politely asked how long it would take, since we didn't have a Piper device and were a little unsure, the employee said unfriendly, "Do you want to come behind the counter?" “It’s full here right now as you can see”… impossible! Super rude and unprofessional! Even when it's full you can still tell your customers! Never again!
