Women's Day at Berner and Brown, delicious food, there was even the drink we wanted, which wasn't even on the menu. Gladly again.

We were thrilled by the large selection of tapas. Above all, the variety of vegetarian and vegan options was very large for a tapas bar, which is not always guaranteed. We enjoyed all the dishes very much and the service was outstanding and even fulfilled small special requests.

I was at this restaurant recently and I have to say I absolutely loved it! The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned and lovingly presented. The service was also outstanding. The staff were super friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome from the start. The staff's recommendations were also a hit. The atmosphere was cozy but still stylish – perfect for a relaxed evening. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't there for me. We used two different mixing plates, but were a little disappointed by the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. Everything tasted very greasy. Of course, tapas are often fried and fried in olive oil, but unfortunately here the taste was completely lost. The alioli was also poured with French fries seasoning, which then destroyed any taste. To the service. Unfortunately our starter was forgotten. The rest was packed for us with a fee of €1.50. Unfortunately only half. Too bad. An indication of the costs would have been nice.

We were here as part of a visit to Magdeburg based on a recommendation from the book "Germany - 11 Underrated Cities" by Caro and Martin. A top address for tapas! Good portions, nicely presented and really tasty! Pleasant atmosphere, not too crowded with tables, and really excellent and friendly girls in service. Reserve a table and try it out!

A very friendly and attentive waitress, delicious food and drinks. Unfortunately, it gets quite loud in the restaurant when the room is full. But that can't be changed, everything else is fine.

We went to Berner & Brown for lunch. Absolutely no problem without a reservation during the week. The waitress was super nice and warm-hearted, you immediately felt very welcome. The food was amazing! The two of us were more than full from 8 tapas, 6-7 tapas would have been enough. Vegans also get their money's worth, as many different and, above all, special vegan dishes are offered. We were completely satisfied 😊

Von vorne bis hinten einfach ein Traum. Wenn ich wirklich ganz ganz ganz lange darüber nachdenke und was „negatives“ finden müsste, wäre es der Lärmpegel, allerdings nicht extrem störend und kein Grund bei den anderen positiven Dingen, hier auch nur einen halben Stern abzuziehen! Hammer!!!

Hervorragendes Essen, sehr nettes Personal und schönes Lokal. Wir haben selten eine so gute Alioli gegessen. Alle anderen Tapas waren auch top!

Das Ambiente ist immer wieder wunderbar. Die Bedienung ist super zuvorkommend und freundlich. Und das das Essen mag ich auch angesichts der kleinen feinen Raffinessen sehr.

Wir waren das erste mal dort und waren rundum begeistert. Die Tapas waren sehr lecker und auch das Mango-Dessert ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir waren schon ein paar mal hier. Anfangs war ich wirklich 100 Prozent zufrieden, dieses Mal nicht so ganz. Zuerst einmal, der Service ist wirklich wundervoll, wirklich hervorragend, immer on point, nie gekünstelt, hier gibt es nix zu meckern. Weiter so. 👍🌟 Das Essen ist auch sehr gut, wobei die Preise schon ganz schön hoch angesetzt sind. Aber das möchte ich nicht negativ bewerten. Ein klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt, wir hatten 4 dips zur Vorspeise, der Nachbartisch auch, nur das deren Schälchen randvoll gefüllt waren und unsere nur gut zur Hälfte, da sollte man schon drauf achten. Die Cocktails waren lecker, auch im Preis sehr gut, aber leider zuviel Eis. Was ich gar nicht gut finde, sind die Pappstrohhalme, die so schnell aufweichen, da müsste es in dieser Preiskategorie etwas anderes geben. Durch die Menge an Eiswürfeln konnte man auch gar nicht den kompletten Cocktail genießen, weil der Strohhalm schon komplett zerstört war und man gar nicht richtig umrühren konnte. Hier wäre es wirklich schön, eine Alternative zu finden. Der Tisch ist für 2,5 Stunden gebucht, das ist völlig in Ordnung, trotzdem kam es zum Schluss zu einer kleinen Hektik. Es musste plötzlich alles ganz schnell gehen, obwohl noch kein Nachfolger für unseren Tisch in Sicht war. Das hat dem ganzen Abend einen kleinen Dämpfer gegeben. Alles in allem, ein schöner Abend. Top Service, gutes Essen, minimale Kritikpunkte, man kann es empfehlen

Essen super! Im Gastraum ziemlich laut! Bei vollem Lokal Wartezeiten auf Getränke ziemlich lang! Aber Personal sehr nett!

The food was generally tasty, but the price-performance ratio still leaves room for improvement. What didn't work at all: Even though we had ordered two glasses of wine and two desserts shortly beforehand, we were "complimented out" of the restaurant shortly before 11 p.m. because they wanted to close (it says on the internet that it's open until midnight)! We didn't even finish eating or drinking because we felt under pressure and no longer welcome. Too bad...

Completely overpriced, around €6 for a 0.4l cola... that can't be justified in any way. The food was so-so but if you want to be full you will be poor. I don't have to have it again. And the stupid answers from the owner under the 1 star reviews say a lot... Update: And there it is, the stupid comment under my review. Pride comes before a fall I'm just saying... the main thing is to offend... shows maturity👌.

Die online Reservierung ist einfach und schnell gemacht. Dann wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und auch sehr freundlich bedient. Die von uns gewählte Auswahl war durchweg sehr lecker. Einzig ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist das etwas zu hoch angesetzte Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Aber dafür gibt es sehr gute Qualität.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen das erste Mal dort. Der Gastraum war fast leer. Der Service war gut. Leider hatten wir das Gefühl, dass der Mittagsbetrieb nur nebenbei läuft und das Hauptgeschäft abends gemacht wird. Preis/ Leistung für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Die Hälfte des Tellers bestand aus Kartoffeln, dann noch eine Dipschale mit Inhalt , da war der Teller fast voll. Am meisten hat uns gestört, dass an den Tellern und Dipschalen teilweise große Stücke abgeschlagen waren und trotzdem darauf serviert wurde. Schade!

Kleines Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen, nette kompetente Bedienung. Leckeres Essen… immer gerne wieder.

Wir waren das erste Mal anlässlich unseres Hochzeitstags in der Tapas Bar und sind begeistert! Mein Mann hatte eine Tapas Platte mit einer sehr leckeren hochwertigen Fleischauswahl. Die Dips waren auch super lecker und alles genau richtig gewürzt. Das Personal war auch so freundlich, dass wir gerne nochmal kommen!

Wonderful food with really nice service

Unfortunately, I had negative experiences for the second time and will therefore not come back. The service was poor, first they forgot to bring us the cards for 20 minutes, we waited for the drinks we ordered!!!, the food also took a really long time, but what I can still understand, what I can't accept is, that our baguette only came at the end of the meal, even though we pointed it out, and I also had to point out the wine I ordered twice. The salmon rolls were not edible. From our point of view, price and performance do not match.

Leider war der Besuch in ihrem Restaurant enttäuschend. Ich hatte reserviert, für 2 Personen. Der Kellner war nicht daran interessiert, den Gästen Wünsche zu erfüllen. Es hat lange gedauert, bis die Getränke serviert wurden, es fehlten darin die bestellten Eiswürfel. Unsere Frage, wie groß eine Portion ist, wurde ungenügend beantwortet. Es hat fast eine Stunde gedauert, bis wir unser Essen hatten ( 3 Tapasportionen). Geschmacklich war das Essen gut.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und waren überrascht von den großzügigen Portionsgrößen der Tapas; der Service war sehr gut und sympathisch. Es wurde vergessen, eine Flasche Wasser nachzuliefern, die dann leider -bei Nachbestellung - doppelt auf der Rechnung stand, dies konnte jedoch schnell korrigiert werden :) Das Essen war fantastisch!

I have to say. After a charming reception, we were seated and pleasantly looked after. The recommended dishes were not only worth seeing but also quite tasty. We particularly liked the goat cheese balls and the Duroc fillet. Not to mention the small tapas. Unfortunately, we each ordered a dessert and ate it. Crema Catalan (how delicious 😋) and something we didn't know before: mango gels with thyme, other herbs (forgot which ones) and a handful of sprinkles. I definitely have to eat it again. No matter what the waist circumference is. There was also water, vermouth, espresso wine and great service. All in all, it was a great and affordable evening and we will definitely come back when we end up in Magdeburg. Unfortunately there are no pictures from this evening. So make your own.
