Very quick kebab and very tasty

Favorite kebab in Mainz tastes sick and has stable praise for 2024. Delicious bread but falling apart

Unfortunately not very tasty. Especially the ketchup sauce.

My colleague Enes was very nice. If I want to eat doner with vegetables, I only have one option in the whole of Mainz. They are always fresh.

''Wallah, you've changed'' to use youth language. About 2 years ago I was a regular customer here and was on a first-name basis with the employees, but today: 3 people, all ordered a falafel sandwich with vegetables and a fries. Falafel sandwiches were disastrously proportioned, not evenly distributed at all, far too much cabbage on top, falafel itself only on the bottom, then the sauces were pointlessly piled on top instead of, like everyone who has been doing this for a while, spreading them in the bread beforehand... Vegetables were overcooked but okay. The fries were actually tasty but tiny and came in a small cardboard box. Question: "Can we get these on a plate, there are three of us?" A.: "We don't have plates"... 2 of the 3 people I was there with had stomach ache at home after this visit. It's a shame I have to write this review, maybe the owners have changed? Would definitely not eat there again. Really remorseful.

Lahmacun was rather below average. Seller was rude

Solid Lahmacun for the price, can't complain by today's standards. But the store is not a revelation. Would still go again.

The quality used to be much better. Anyone who orders a vegan vegetable kebab now apparently only gets a vegetarian kebab salad with very few vegetables. The vegetables were soggy. This wasn't the case before! Even though we specifically said "vegan" and "the hot sauce, please" they simply put all the existing sauces on it. Unfortunately I was disappointed for the second time in a row.

Food was very tasty. Unfortunately the people behind the counter tried to pull one off, which is of course a complete impudence!!! (We were there on Shrove Monday, which is probably why they thought it was easier to rip off drunk people)

Price-performance is lousy correct. Stable Dürüm and fries. But you can improve your ambience a bit. A seat cushion would be like this

Yesterday, November 16th, 23, I ordered and ate a kebab at around 11 p.m. After about 3-4 hours I felt worse than ever. I threw up the whole kebab. I'm not at all sensitive to food and I can't even remember the last time I puked. The quality is catastrophic. Stay away!

The guy making the kebabs is very charming and funny, also the kebabs are the cheapest in the zone, and they are good and flavorful.

Since the snack bar is called BERLINER Vegetable Kebap, it unfortunately has to live with the fact that this rating is based on Berlin standards and not Mainz. (Sorry Mainz, you have many qualities, but your kebabs are none of them.) In summary, there is nothing about this kebab that has anything to do with Berlin. I recommend that all employees, including the owner, do an internship in the capital for several weeks at a kebab grill of their choice or change their name. Let's start with the bread: The white bread roll that is thrown into the contact grill is far too thick. In Berlin takes a quarter of a flatbread. This stays in the grill until it crunches slightly when you bite into it. The bread here doesn't get crispy, it's warm at best. This means that the bread makes up too much of the kebab and causes the kebab to become too dry. The sauce could make up for this if you smeared it on both insides of the bread, as is usual in Berlin, and not just slapped it on top. If you just slap the sauce on top, half of it will end up on your face and the other half will end up in the aluminum foil. And at the bottom you have dry meat in too thick, soft bread. Let's stay with the sauce for a moment: The cocktail sauce was okay, but the sauces here don't have much in common with the sauces in Berlin. Garlic, spicy and herbs belong at the front of the display in Berlin. Let's stay at the front of the display for a moment: A Berlin kebab should contain red onions instead of white and, above all, red cabbage instead of white cabbage. Trust me, it tastes much better. Last but not least the meat: This comes from Wiesbaden. So nothing to do with Berlin here either. And unfortunately you can taste it. The meat is much drier and seasoned differently. If the sauce were evenly distributed it might be less noticeable, but if you only have dry, limp bread with dry meat at the bottom, the last bite tastes just like this kebab did for me: disappointing. But for Mainz conditions it's quite ok. Suggestion: Rename yourself Mainzer Vegetable Kebap. 😁

Tote Wespen zwischen den Monitoren über dem Eingang, vertrocknete Gurkenscheiben zwischen den Tischbrettern und sehr kleine Portionen Wenigstens ging die Zubereitung schnell...

Der vegetarische Döner ist einfach nur geil! Cocktail-Scharf Kombination als Soßen sind so harmonisch und so lecker, die besten Soßen, die ich je in Mainz in einem Döner hatte. Der Salat war frisch & knackig, das Gemüse nicht zu fettig und der Käse lecker. Beim Brot und der Falafel ist es ausbaubar, dennoch kann man den Döner ohne Falafel bestellen und alle guten Aspekte wie Salat, Gemüse und Soße, aber auch der Preis von 4,50€ mit Käse gleichen das aus. Ich komme hier sehr sehr gerne hin, egal zu welcher Tageszeit

Einfach Ehrenmann! Super leckerer veganer Döner mit Falafel und gebratenem Gemüse. Außerdem extrem freundlich. Wird immer wieder ein Besuch abgestattet wenn ich in Mainz bin!!

Ich hatte hohe Erwartungen an diesen Dürum, aber leider hat es meine Hoffnungen nicht erfüllt. Das Fleisch war von geringer Qualität und hatte nicht den vollen, saftigen Geschmack, den ich von einem guten Döner erwarte. Die Saucen waren ein weiterer Minuspunkt - sie schienen sehr künstlich und fügten dem Gesamterlebnis nichts Positives hinzu. Wirklich schade, ich hatte mir mehr erhofft. Nur 2 Sterne für mich. Ich hoffe, sie verbessern ihre Rezeptur und Qualitätsstandards.

Lecker, freundlich, gut erreichbar, schnell, Preise in Ordnung. Mehr muss man wohl nicht sagen.

Super leckerer Döner esse ich schon seit ein paar Jahren immer Mal wieder gerne.

Sehr lecker, daß muss man sagen, es duftet schön und es schmeckt sehr gut. Das Essen ist auch frisch und es wird ziemlich schnell vorbereitet. Leider muss man manchmal warten, da es sehr oft viele Gäste hat, aber das zeigt nur wie gut das Essen ist. Ich gebe für das Essen die beste Note und würde es jedem empfehlen.

Leckerer Gemüse-Döner für 5,50 Euro, der in erster Linie durch sein Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überzeugen kann. Das Fleisch ist eher durchschnittlich, im Gesamtpaket kann man das Essen aber weiterempfehlen.

Guter Döner für zwischendurch, der Name lässt aber auf einen Berliner Gemüse Kebap hoffen und weckt natürlich Erwartungen, die zumindest bei mir nicht gehalten wurden.

Der Gemüsedöner schmeckt fantastisch, mit verschiedenem Gemüse und Soßen. Zubereitung geht super schnell, auch wenn viel los ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der Preis ist unschlagbar. Zurecht der beste Gemüsedönerladen in Mainz!

Fast so aggresiv wie ali Usta. Lecker Döner kann ich nur empfehlen. Dani war auch dabei.

Ein leckerer Döner. Ähnlich wie in Berlin.

Ich liebte diesen Dönerladen da er die Soße bevor alles drauf kam aufs Brot Schmierte, wie in Berlins besten dönerläden. Ein Döner schmeckt so ganz anders und beim essen tropft die soße nicht überall raus. Vor allem wo gibt es Gemüse im Döner ? Nirgends nur dort. Doch das war bei diesem Besuch ganz anders keine Soße auf dem Brot, ganz normal drauf geschüttet und der Döner war noch schlechter als jeder 0815 Döner. Bitte neue mitarbeiter richtig schulen. Da würde ich mir den Döner am liebsten einfach selbst machen. Echt schade der laden war mal der beste für mich in Mainz jetzt ist es leider der schlechteste geworden. Hoffe beim nächsten mal ändert sich das und die Soße wird vorher aufs brot gestrichen.

Jedesmal wenn ich in Mainz ist der Döner ein muss.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Döner war auch schnell fertig. Schöner kleiner Laden. Preise sind der Hammer. Normaler Döner (üblicher großer Döner) für 4,50€ und ein vegetarischer Döner mit Grillgemüse nur 4€. Preis Leistung 6 Sterne. Die Döner waren sehr lecker. Auswahl aus 4 verschieden Soßen. Klare Weiterempfehlung!?
