We were in Bergisch Switzerland at the weekend with a larger group (including children) and also stayed one night in the guesthouse! We really liked this place, located in the middle of nature, with excellent food, courteous and friendly service and a great ambience! In the nostalgic pavilion you have a wonderful view. Outside you can sit comfortably by the fireplace on the covered terrace! There is a lot for children to discover here - especially the animals (goats, deer) were very popular! The rooms are lovingly modernized and comfortably furnished, nothing is missing! We can fully recommend Bergische Schweiz!

We celebrated a big birthday here and also stayed overnight in the guest house. We really liked the charm of the rooms (a mix of old and modern). The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We'd love to come back.

Bergische Schweiz is a wonderful place where you can spend a really nice time. We were guests at a family celebration and used catering and overnight accommodation. Everything has its charm, the food (and also the drinks, good wines) was very, very good, the fireplace outside was very cozy, all the staff were outstanding, nice and professional and personal. We all felt very comfortable there and can fully recommend it. The somewhat rustic nature is part of the place, the animals are a wonderful experience for the children - we felt really, really comfortable :-D And you can also go on lovely bike tours or hikes from there. We'll be back, that much is clear!

We celebrated our joint 90th birthday (41.5+48.5 years) here in the form of an Oktoberfest. From planning to implementation, everything went perfectly. A very tasty grill buffet with great salmon and steak, fantastic views and a great service team made the evening perfect for around 80 guests. Our guests had a lot of fun. We'd love to come back!

I want to highly praise the helpfulness of the staff at this hotel. After a long journey and various events, it was fantastic to arrive and relax. I am truly impressed by their kindness and hospitality. I wish them all the best and hope to have the opportunity to stay at such a place again someday.

Hello, let's start with the bad news: to be honest, the prices are quite high for the size of the portions, and the drinks also cost. Everything around is visually getting old, including the toilet facilities. So now to the reason: A dedicated waitress with a tablet who takes orders and collects them later. Young staff who diligently bring drinks and food to the tables and then clear them away for us later. We were satisfied all around, but the only thing that struck us as positive was the delicious vanilla ice cream on my waffle, even though it was just dessert and just a topping for the waffle... It's sad. Staff were nice and quick, unfortunately you lose some attention if you use a tablet instead of looking around at the tables, but that's the brave new world. You can go there and enjoy a day with a beautiful view, yes, but we didn't find anything special. Now everyone can form their own opinion on site.

On August 30th we celebrated our wedding in Bergische Schweiz. We chose this location because not only do we have a lot of childhood memories attached to it, but because we knew that it would perfectly fit our ideas and our style as a couple. Months before the event, we sat down with the Bergische Schweiz team and discussed the process and our ideas. I don't think we've ever been advised with so much kindness and ambition. The team not only took our every wish seriously and implemented it, but also contributed their own valuable ideas. During the planning, we were in regular contact and were able to reach all colleagues at Bergische Schweiz day and night. From the start it was very personal and didn't feel at all like a "business relationship". I would like to emphasize that they took complete care of the decoration and put a lot of passion into all the preparations. The wedding itself was perfect for us. Although it wasn't a small celebration with almost 40 guests, we were very well looked after right from the start. The waitresses fulfilled special requests and were super friendly. We had access to the large indoor area, the pavilion and about half of the outdoor area. This meant there was plenty of space. The numerous animals housed and the beautiful view were well received by young and old alike. The appetizers, the buffet and the midnight snack were super tasty (like every food in Bergische Schweiz) and there was hardly anything left. As discussed, the buffet was cleared away after a while to make room for the dance floor. From start to finish the wedding was exactly how we wanted it and would celebrate any of our future events there again and again. Quote from our photographer: "I've never been to such a relaxed wedding." Of course, everything doesn't always go according to plan, but in the end it's about an unforgettable day for the company and the bride and groom, and without everyone involved from Bergische Schweiz it would only have been half as nice. One might think that because Bergische Schweiz has existed for almost 100 years, it is only beautiful for older guests. But we see it completely differently. Bergische Schweiz is always worth a visit for children, young people, families and older society. Thank you all for this unforgettable day!

Very nice family-run hotel that invites you to linger. The rooms are rustically furnished and extremely clean. In addition, the view was very beautiful. Goats, chickens and deer can be admired between the restaurant and the guest house. The staff is very nice and accommodating. You feel like you're at home. The barbecue evening in the restaurant was very nice and tasty. A great atmosphere. You can tell that everyone is putting a lot of effort into it

Bergische Schweiz is a beautiful restaurant with a mega ambience. The outside terrace invites you to linger. Deer and goats walk along the terrace. Man feels like he's on vacation 😊. The menu is varied so there is something for everyone. Whether for lunch or coffee and cake/waffles.

Anyone who visits Bergische Schweiz can look forward to a wonderful journey back in time to the 1960s. The food was of very good quality, not bagged or canned food, but honestly cooked. The service was nice and attentive.

Bergische Schweiz is a beautifully located restaurant with a lot of passion and commitment. From the terrace you have a good overview of the area and you can sit very relaxed and enjoy your food. The food was delicious and the portions were sufficient. The dishes and drinks were also reasonably priced. A real highlight, especially for children, is the beautiful “petting zoo”. All in all, I had a great time in Bergische Schweiz and can only recommend this restaurant!

Be the best weapons for decades

On the occasion of a wedding we had a good night and enjoyed a delicious, hearty breakfast. A very idyllic family hotel in the countryside with clean, well-kept rooms. Not a new building but very comfortable, functional and furnished with attention to detail. Absolutely recommended!

We were in the restaurant and absolutely loved it. Very nice staff, very tasty food, great view. The owners know how to keep the furnishings typically Bergisch, but without the old stuff, but rather simple and stylish. We'll definitely come again :)

A beautiful view in a restaurant that has retained its old charm in modern times. Still misunderstand. It's NOT run down or anything. Everything is beautiful the way it should be. The cake was delicious and the cappuccino was also very good. The waitresses were always there. We were there on a motorbike. For colleagues who also plan to do this, I would ask them to take things calmly and civilly in the last few meters. It goes through a community where motorcycles are actually forbidden. Only allowed for guests. To ensure that it stays that way for a long time, please be considerate. Just go up a gear and slow down a bit 👍

Were there today. Unfortunately only for drinks. The prices are ok. The service ANNA, super friendly, personable, fast, competent and attentive. The area is simply beautiful and feeding the goats and deer is fun.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. A beautiful view enriched the delicious breakfast with pleasant service. The rooms are cozy, nice and quiet. We don't want to overestimate the lack of sockets on the bed for the bedside lamps/possible cell phone charges. We recommend planning some time for hiking. The nature and view of the valley was wonderful. We'd love to come back.

We were there as a family, unfortunately much too early (10 a.m., check in 3 p.m.) we were warmly welcomed, the room was clean and tidy, including deer and goats 🐐 feed, on the way to a great breakfast and everyone was super friendly. We'll be back LG Fam.Schmö...

Bergische Schweiz is located in a fantastically beautiful place, especially for hiking. In my opinion the hotel is not suitable for everyone, especially not for people who cannot walk up and down mountains. Despite this, it's a great place for a 1-3 day trip. The boss and staff are super friendly! Recommended!

A charming, cozy atmosphere. A little old but the food and service are simply wonderful. Great outdoor terrace with a great view of nature. The children can run, play and watch and feed the small animals in the enclosure without danger.

We were there as a group for a Bergische coffee table. Apparently they have no interest in coming back! For example, how do you ensure that if you order in advance, some tables get fresh cream and other tables get spray cream? You don't think much of clearing away either. The boss was only seen when she was cashing out! When we didn't give a tip (perhaps we should think about it), the reaction was very unfriendly and rude.

We went here on a sunny Saturday afternoon to have a waffle. The view on the terrace is very nice. The service was ok. The waffle itself was tasty, but unfortunately it was cold (just like the “hot cherries”). In addition, the portion was far too small for the price of almost €7. I ordered the waffle with cream. There was a tiny little spot of cream on the plate, which could have been avoided :).

We have known Bergische Schweiz for many years and were there again today and enjoyed it. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent - couldn't be better. We know what we are talking about - we have been served all over the world - and cannot understand the criticism of previous recessions!!!

We spontaneously visited the location for a small meal. At first we were very impressed by the beautiful view, peace and atmosphere. The staff was also very friendly, although we were served by a total of five different people throughout our stay and it felt a bit disorganized. Unfortunately, we have to say that we were more than disappointed with the food. We ordered cream of potato soup, baguette with “homemade aioli” and a cup of ice cream with cream. The prices given suggested a high quality and delicious meal with a reasonable price/performance ratio... we were completely wrong... the soup was inedibly sour, and the minimalist dry piece of frozen baguette was also not very appealing. The “homemade aioli” tasted reasonable taken out of the packaging. The golf ball-sized scoops of ice cream with canned spray cream had an industrial taste of their own. We were very glad that we didn't order a main course, but luckily we were spared that experience. The prices are really a complete disgrace. All in all recommended for the good view and the beer. Order food at your own risk.

I only used the restaurant but it was worth it. Both the sauerbraten and the game ragout were excellent. Very tender, delicately seasoned and the quantity was generous. The price was reasonable. The building itself is a bit old. Don't be put off!

I was a guest in Bergische Schweiz on May 9th, 2024 with my wife and our son and we were looking forward to a lovely afternoon. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed. I had reserved a table for 3 p.m. because there was a holiday and good weather was forecast. When we arrived, no one knew anything about the reservation. We were then assigned a table in the sun. There is a plus point here because we were given a place in the shade at our request because we would not have liked to sit in the blazing sun with our 8-month-old son. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. When we sat down and ordered our drinks from waitress #1, waitress #2 came and asked us if we wanted to order something to drink. We stated that we had already done this but would also like to order some food. My wife ordered 500g of asparagus with potatoes and I ordered tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, with a side salad. After about 15 minutes. Our salad came from waitress No. 3 without cutlery, which she wanted to fetch. This took so long that in the meantime our drinks arrived, one of which was wrong (a blackcurrant spritzer was ordered and an apple spritzer was brought). The cutlery was still a long time coming. At some point it came and the blackcurrant spritzer came too. We had to wait quite a while for the main course and it only came when we asked (it felt like it was over an hour, but in fact it must have been around 45 minutes). Again, what we got was wrong. My wife ordered 500g of asparagus and 250g arrived. When asked whether what was brought was 500g, waitress No. 2 typed around on her tablet and then said she would check it in the kitchen and if necessary we would simply get another 250g of asparagus. Apparently she had clarified this in the kitchen, but unfortunately this information did not reach us. Again, after what felt like an eternity, waitress No. 2 came with the rest of our asparagus order. Before that, she walked past our table several times. What's so difficult about standing there for 10 seconds and saying "I've sorted that out and your order is coming soon" or something similar, nothing like that. The rest of the asparagus came later. My wife thought her asparagus tasted good, my tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms was more run-of-the-mill. We had actually planned to have waffles for dessert, but we decided not to because we were both extremely annoyed. I also think the prices are far too expensive. And we weren't the only ones who felt that way. An older couple was sitting at the next table and they only received their orders when they asked where they were. A father with two sons left after 30 minutes without condition. In summary, the service seemed very uncoordinated and haphazard and it all just took far too long. I'm willing to wait up to 30 minutes for my food, but there must be good reasons for that. For example, the restaurant is overcrowded, etc. It's a shame because I've only heard good things about Bergische Schweiz and the location is really great.

Our visit there will remain a unique event: very picturesque location, but service disappointing. We went there for coffee today. Ice cream for the children, coffee and cake for my husband were served. I waited until the end for my cake and, despite remembering, in vain. Reaction of the waitress when cashing out: “I’m sorry, but I wasn’t responsible for your table.” Mistakes can happen, but a good restaurant is also reflected in how you deal with them...

We went there to eat with our family and the first print was also good but the service was catastrophic. Orders were forgotten, we had to wait 1/5 hour for our order and the waffles were cold and not cooked through. Would advise everyone to stay away from this place and go to a decent cafe or restaurant!

After I was there once last fall and the service was unsatisfactory with only three occupied tables in the gas room and the boss had a very annoying loud conversation in the corner, I was in this beautiful place again today and it was more than a disappointment . I have the impression that the house is becoming more and more run down. When we arrived, we were told there was somewhere we could sit down. The tables were all still full of dishes. We were not greeted nor was our table wiped down. The service staff all seemed very uncoordinated and overwhelmed. The paper menu was dingy and had been used as a base on other tables. After we were ignored for 20 minutes, I asked a waitress for drinks. After another 15 minutes we had our drinks. I saw that guests left despite ordering food. Our food came after an hour, it was not warm and incomplete but good. The boss?" walked through the guests talking unpleasantly loudly and making quick jokes, apologizing to some extent but saying that he couldn't do anything about it (well then who could?) So why don't you just switch to self-service? It's a shame, we have such fond memories of this house with the previous owner. We won't be coming back under this operator.

I was a guest with my 90-year-old mother with a reservation for waffles. We were assigned a dark cat table... and then served a cold waffle with cold cherries. The house and furnishings are very sparse and somewhat worn out. All in all, I felt a bit ashamed of my mother for the choice. I wanted to give her a nice afternoon. She was disappointed. 30 euros for the cold, very small waffles served weren't right either. A pity! We won't be coming back.

The restaurant's good times are long gone. Everything is very old and run down. Great shortage of staff, long waiting times, mediocre quality.

The location is a dream and invites you to relax after work and stress. The family is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and prepared with love.

The food was exceptionally good. The service was very polite and accommodating. We felt very comfortable.

We went there again today after years to drink coffee. Unfortunately nothing has improved since then, the service is still as bad as before. We didn't order because we weren't even served; just like the people behind and next to us on the terrace. We wait less than 30 minutes for someone to speak to us and then an eternity until we finally get something to drink and eat. Many who go there have been hiking before and are thirsty. On the upper part of the terrace you don't even get a glance, let alone someone saying: "Someone's coming soon". As before, there are far too few (qualified) staff; 2 people for the entire terrace and you can sole people's shoes while walking so they walk slowly. There could be 100 people sitting there, but it wouldn't work any faster. A real imposition for a place with such a beautiful view. Inside is still showing its age. Nothing is being invested here anymore. It's better to spend your money somewhere else where customers are valued.

Waited an hour for a coffee. Staff completely overwhelmed even though there wasn't much going on. I can't recommend it.

We celebrated my son's communion here. Everything was perfect. The menu selection was very extensive. The service was very friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back.

I was there for the Bergische Kaffeetafel. We recommend . Staff are not professionals, but very nice and helpful. The terrace has a good view over the valley.

The four of us just dined here. The various meals, as well as the cake afterward, were perfect across the board. We had an attentive waiter/waiter who left nothing to be desired. The location is also a real dream. Children receive a small bag of food to feed the animals on the property. It was an Easter Monday with the feeling of being on vacation, but we were almost neighbors. Kind regards from Ründeroth and Nümbrecht. We'll definitely be back.

An outdated restaurant. Long waiting times. Bergisch waffles are an imposition. Very thin and served with whipped cream. I know that from other locations that are much better. Will not visit this Kokal again

If you like something rustic, the food is super delicious

After a hike on a Sunday lunchtime, the five of us arrived in Bergisch Switzerland and first had lunch and then enjoyed a waffle. The 'ambience' here has actually remained unchanged for (at least) 30 years. The carousel from before no longer exists, but it feels like Bergisch Switzerland is a bit out of date both inside and out and could do with a redesign inside... :-) The service staff is very friendly and accommodating. No wish remained unfulfilled here. The food was delicious and homely. We ate the following dishes: cordon bleu, zander fillet, trout and schnitzel as well as a children's dish (fries with fish fingers) Afterwards there were waffles with cherries and cream, ice cream and apple crumble cake. The latter was an absolute highlight. Unfortunately, the waffles were cold and covered in powdered sugar. (At least one heaped tablespoon per waffle) All in all, we always enjoy coming here. An absolute plus point for children: feeding the goats and deer free of charge. Thank you for being so child-friendly!

Sehr gutes Essen zu normalen Preisen. Da hier im Service überwiegend recht junges Personal bedient, sollte man nicht böse sein, wenn es einmal etwas länger dauert...

Ich mag dieses Lokal! Das Essen ist gut. Die Atmosphäre dort ist so beschaffen, das es mich nicht wundern würde wenn Konrad Adenauer ( erster Kanzler der BRD) oder Heinrich Böll ( Literatur Nobelpreisträger) am Tresen sitzen und ein Kölsch genießen würde.

Essen und Service waren super. Wir waren zu viert dort, alle hatten ein unterschiedliches Gericht und alle waren durch die Bank weg super.

Eigentlich ein schönes Restaurant, schön gelegen. Aber, leider ist das Personal durchweg überfordert. Der eine weiß nicht was der andere macht. Die Waffeln mit Kirschen kamen kalt an und gingen zurück und kamen genau so kalt zum 2. Mal. Zudem standen diese dann vor uns und wir warteten weitere 5min auf unser Besteck. Für fast 8 Euro pro Waffel mit Kirschen,Sahne. Eine Unverschämtheit.

Der Service war sehr nett und freundlich. Die vegane Blumenkohl-Kokos Suppe war traumhaft lecker und auch die Nudeln mit Steinpilzen. Das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich und ist passend zur Speisekarte. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Waffel essen nach dem wandern. Der Besitzer hat leider nicht gelernt. Das Personal war nett, bemüht doch leider absolut überfordert. - Tische wurden lange nicht abgeräumt, kein Tisch wurde abgewischt - Essen kam (Waffel und Kaffee zusammen - das war gut) - Leider ohne Besteck - Man wollte Besteck holen, auf dem Weg bediente man andere - Essen und Tisch Zuordnung war durcheinander - Ein Mann im Service war sehr bemüht und half viel aus Das Essen: - Waffel kalt und hart - Kirschen kalt - Erste Runde zurück geben lassen, zweiter Versuch war lau warm (ohne zu meckern) - Kaffee und Kakao waren gut Fazit: Grundsätzlich ist das Personal nett und bemüht. Die Küche kann ich nicht beurteilen. Organisatorisch täte der Alm ein Serviceleiter gut, der normale Abläufe schult. Überforderte und ungelernte Mitarbeiter ranzt man nicht an, doch hier sollte man sein eigenes Personal und die Gäste nicht verschleißen. Der Küche empfehle ich eine Mikrowelle für heiße Kirschen, ein neues Waffelrezept und das warme servieren von fluffigen Waffeln.

Meine Frau und ich besuchten heute die Aussengastronomie der "Bergischen Schweiz". Das Personal, 3 junge Leute mit sicher nicht als zuviel Praktischer Erfahrung, waren überaus freundlich und engagiert. Das Haus scheint etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Herrentoilette im Lokal war komplett geschlossen. Ein Vermerk auf der Türe, "Bitte die untere Toilette benutzen". Dort waren von den vier Urinalen zwei defekt. Das Wasser des Urinalspülers spritzte mir bei Betätigung entgegen. Der große Salat mit Pute glich eher einem Beilagensalat. Die dazugehörige Folienkartoffel war ein "Kartöffelchen", etwa 3cm im Durchmesser, und 10cm lang. Meine Schweineschnitzel war..... ok. Mein Fazit: Personal auf der Terasse - Top, Ambiente - Na ja, Speisen - Durchschnitt bis knapp darunter. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis - könnte besser sein. Mein "Befriedigend" ist sehr kulant.

Was für eine große Enttäuschung. Wir hatten eine bergische Kaffeetafel bestellt und mussten diese aufgrund der Vorbereitungen eine Woche im Voraus besprechen. Bei der Ankunft wusste niemand davon, was uns das Gefühl gab, nicht willkommen zu sein. Dann bekamen wir eine Kanne Kaffee statt der Tropfmine, wie es bei einer bergischen Kaffeetafel üblich ist. Aber das kann passieren und wir verstehen es. Dann bekam ich ein Tablett mit altbackenem Brot (es war trocken und nicht frisch und schmeckte wie Fabrikbrot) mit einem Teller mit etwas Aufstrich und fertig abgepackter Marmelade. 1 kleine Schüssel kwark und 1 kleine Schüssel Reisbrei mit 2 Löffeln. Es sah sehr unvorbereitet und dürftig aus. Nach 1 Stunde wurde abgeräumt und gefragt, welchen Kuchen wir dazu haben wollten. Ich entschied mich für die Eisplitter-Torte, die zu hart und zu lange im Gefrierschrank gelegen hatte und wie Gefrierschrank schmeckte und voller eisbrand war. genug davon nach 1 Bissen. Wir gaben die Kellnerin freundlich zu verstehen, dass wir wirklich sehr enttäuscht waren und der Geschmack und die Qualität wirklich schlecht waren. Ihre Antwort war nur „Entschuldigung“ und „ob wir noch die Waffel wollten“. In diesem Moment war ich damit fertig und gab zu verstehen, dass es uns wirklich nicht gefiel und wir sehr enttäuscht waren und lieber jetzt gehen und bezahlen würden. Dann mussten wir fast 50 Euro zahlen für etwas altes trockenes Brot und etwas Aufstrich und 3 Tassen Kaffe . So schade und was für eine Enttäuschung. Ich bin das nicht gewohnt. Nog nie so Enttäuscht gewesen im restaurant Ich werde daher jedem davon abraten, hierher zu gehen. Auch die Kunden am Tisch hinter uns hatten sich bereits über ihr Essen beschwert (Fisch und Karottensalat waren auch nicht gut) Schade, dass das Unternehmen auf andere Bewertungen antwortet und wir nichts davon hören. nicht einmal eine Antwort auf E-Mail. dadurch wird es nicht besser.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, toller Service, sehr gutes Preis/-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr empfehlenswert

4 Personen die einen Kaffee trinken wollten , wurde => trotz mehrerer !! freier Tische und 2 ! Bedienungskräften draussen eher etwas weniger freundlich mitgeteilt , dass wir ( bei bestem Wetter) nur rein gehen könnten. Mein freundlicher Hinweis, dass wir schon des öfteren hier waren u. nur gerne 4 Cappuccino hätten die wir an einem der vielen freien Tische schnell verzehren würden , nützte nix.... Es gab nichts für uns. .... :-0 Schade , es war bisher nach einer kleinen Wanderung oder MTB Tour immer recht nett in der Bergischen Schweiz . Aber imho geht man so nicht unbedingt mit Gästen um .

Haben dort meine 60 Geburtstag gefeiert und sind voll auf zufrieden. Guter Service , leckeres Essen .Empfehlenswert Preis Leistungsverhältnis geht voll in Ordnung. gerade für Familien mit Kindern.

Am 22 April haben wir bei ihnen meiner Oma den 90 Geburtstag gefeiert.Wir wahren über 20 Personen und es hat allen sehr sehr gut gefallen.super Service Und sehr sehr leckeres Essen.und sehr sehr Kinder freundlich vielen Dank wir kommen gerne wieder ❤️❤️

Sehr leckeres Essen. Man sollte einen Tisch vorbestellen. Da es dort immer voll ist Service war schnell und Klasse.

Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Bedienung sehr freundlich, aber leider gab es große Probleme bei unseren Bestellungen. Die Cola kam erst nach der 3. Bestellung (und 50min) an. Wir konnten unser Essen erst nach ca. 1h Bestellen und bekamen dad Essen dann eine weitere Stunde später. Bis dann das Hauptgericht nach einer weiteren halben Stunde aufgetischt war war der Laden schon fasst geschlossen. Die Hälfte der Gerichte konnten ebenfalls nicht ausgeliefert werden, da nicht vorhanden. Bekamen aber als Entschuldigung einen Cafè aufs Haus. Leckeres Essen, würde aber aufgrund der Umstände nicht wieder kommen. Schade.

Wir waren nach 3 Jahren mal wieder hier und waren vom Essen begeistert.

Der Service war freundlich und wir wurden schnell bedient. Mein Pfannkuchen war zwar frisch gemacht aber geschmacklich kein Highlight. Die Käse-Sahne-Torte war gut. Der Weg zum Restaurant ist ziemlich abenteuerlich. Ich empfehle einen Geländewagen.

Wir waren nach dem Standesamt vor Ort, super Absprache vorab. Am Tag war alles sehr schön eingedeckt und dekoriert. um uns wurde sich wunderbar gekümmert. Essen und Kuchen sehr lecker.

Rustikale Gaststätte mit großer Aussenterrasse und herrlichen Blich auf das Bergische Land. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr gut und seinem Preis wert. Der Lachs mit kleinen Kartoffelpuffern und das Rumpsteak mit super knusprigen Zwiebeln waren sehr gut. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Der Wald lädt zu einem Spaziergang ein. Gerne wieder.

Super leckeres Essen und Service.

Sehr schönes nostalgisches Ambiente. Freundliche Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal. Gut bürgerliche Küchen. Preisleistungsverhältnis passt! Sehr empfehlenswert.

Tolle Location im schönen Bergischen. Auch mit Kindern.

Tagesgäste werden vernachlässigt. Aufgrund einer parallelen Hochzeit (nur 30 Personen) war die Küche nicht in der Lage, unser Dessert (3 Waffeln) anzubieten. Da der Fokus des Restaurants somit nicht auf Tagesgästen liegt, werden wir trotz guter Lage und gutem Essen nicht wiederkommen. Hoffentlich finden sich genug Hochzeiten, so dass das Restaurant hiervon existieren kann. Als Gäste 2.Klasse werden wir zukünftig lieber ein anderes Restaurant wählen.

Sehr gute Lage und sehr gutes Essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Aufgrund einer Hochzeit wurden die Tagesgäste aber stark vernachlässigt, so dass die Küche nicht mehr in der Lage war, ein Dessert anzubieten. Wir werden das Restaurant somit nicht nochmals besuchen.

Leider nicht empfehlenswert für Wanderer. Trotz halbleerer Terrasse und viel Personal wurden wir nicht bedient und auf eine etwa einstündige Wartezeit hingewiesen. Zusätzliche Gäste scheinen dort eher lästig zu sein.

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr netten und freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Das Schnitzel Jäger Art mit frischen Champignons ist total lecker 😋. Frisch gebraten in der Pfanne top. Auch die Pfannkuchen und Obstalat sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren zu Dritt vor Ort und hatten einen schönen Abend, denn sowohl das Essen wie auch der Service gefielen uns außerordentlich gut. Leckere gutbürgerliche Küche wie man sie heutzutage immer seltener findet und ein freundlicher bzw. aufmerksamer Service. Dazu ein herrliches Landbier incl. schönem Ausblick über die Berge. Was will man mehr!?

Eine echte Zeitreise. Ich hatte das Gefühl hier ist die Zeit stehen geblieben. Eine nette Location für einen Ausflug.

War nur eine Übernachtung ,klein ,sauber ruhig gelegen ,Bett war Top .Waren Essen gestern Abend Top ,lecker .Service Bemüht , Frühstück heute morgen war Klasse ,Kaffee gab's auch nach ☕ toll einfach

Es war sehr lecker und absolut empfehlenswert um mal eine Auszeit vom Alltag zu nehmen. Sehr freundlicher Service. Terrasse mit schönem Biergarten vorhanden.
