Stopped here for dinner, and aside from the amazing view and the excellent service, the food is amazing and highly recommended. One more tip: A digestive walk to Lake Listsee

A wonderful visit with excellent service – even for our four-legged friends! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Niederalm! The service was exceptionally attentive and warm – as soon as we arrived, our dog was brought a bowl of fresh water without even asking. When the waiter noticed me trying to remove a tick from my fur, he came over shortly after with tick tweezers – now that's what I call forward-thinking service! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Add to that the great terrace with a stunning view, perfect for a relaxing visit in nice weather. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – friendly, accommodating, and with a real eye for detail. We'll definitely be back!

It was simply wonderful. The atmosphere, the food, and the staff were simply fantastic. I can't comment on the rooms because I was only up there for dinner. I can only recommend the Niederalm for dining and relaxing in the beer garden.

A beautiful restaurant with overnight accommodation. The food was and remains excellent. Service was prompt, even though there was a birthday party in the restaurant with about 50 people. The view is magnificent. Ample parking is available.

Wonderful place, delicious food – everything very clean and well-maintained. The chef knows his business, the prices are very reasonable, and you get a decent amount of food. However, we somehow got the impression that we weren't that welcome in our cycling attire. We got a table without a reservation (thanks! - note it was a Thursday) and were told the deadline was 6 p.m. Being hungry and thirsty, we accepted, but at 6:15 p.m. we left with five tables still unoccupied... I don't understand. Even "cyclists" make a good drink – or is €50 a little too little?

We visited Bobby at the Niederalm. As always, he was very friendly and welcoming. The food was good, but the specially prepared knuckle of pork was disappointing.

We were only there for dinner, so I can't comment on the rooms. However, the location and the view over Bad Reichenhall and the mountains are fantastic. The service was good, friendly, and quick. The food was delicious, and the menu offers a variety of rösti, something special among the usual "all sorts" of dishes found at most restaurants. We first became aware of the Niederalm through the Schlemmerblock review, but we'll definitely return again on future trips to the region.

A place to feel good. An absolute must. Both owners, father and son, always make you feel welcome. They run the restaurant with love, warmth, and a pleasant sense of humor. The food and service leave nothing to be desired. The price/performance ratio is absolutely excellent. We are thrilled. We have already stayed in the apartment twice and have already booked again. Fantastic view. Pure relaxation. If you haven't been a guest at Bobby and Benny's yet, you're really missing out. Even our dog 🐕 feels completely at home, because both Bobby and Benny are true dog lovers. Highly recommended.

My parents and I went to the Niederalm for Father's Day dinner today. Everything was perfect: the cozy atmosphere, the delicious food, and the friendly and attentive service! We had steak rösti, young bull fillet, and salad with beef tournedos.

Nice Bavarian-Austrian restaurant on a hill in Bad Reichenhall. The landlord is not afraid to speak his mind and always has a joke on his lips. The service was generally good and quite quick. The food was delicious and hearty and served after a wait of about 15 minutes. The prices were okay, not exactly cheap but justified. Expect to pay around 15-25 euros for a main course. We sat in the beer garden, which is cozy and beautiful with trees all around. There is also a small children's playground, but the play tower there urgently needs to be replaced or repaired. There is an increased risk of injury as it is partially damaged with protruding nails and broken slats. (May 2025) The access road to the Niederalm is very narrow in places, but with a little caution and attention it is easy to drive on due to oncoming traffic.

After the registry office in Bad Reichenhall, we spent an unforgettable day in the Niederalm - from lunch to coffee and cake to dinner. The atmosphere was warm and stylish, the service attentive and warm. The cuisine impresses with quality, regional specialties and great attention to detail. Our guests and we felt completely at home. On the day of our arrival in Bad Reichenhall we went here for dinner. The very well-kept Niederalm is a bit out of the way but has a very beautiful landscape. Large outdoor area. There is also a climbing frame in the garden for children. Can definitely recommend this inn. We'd love to come back.

Good food in a friendly atmosphere. Nice attentive staff, even Chrs comes by and asks if everything is ok. Prices are a bit high, but I think the price/performance is good. We had 2 starters, 4 main courses and 2 desserts, 4 drinks and a coffee for a total of 145 euros.

Were here today with the voucher book. We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable. Our children 11 and 8 also felt comfortable. Upon request, we were also able to borrow cards to play with. Children are very welcome. The food was very good and the price was right too. At the end we had an apricot schnapps, I'm absolutely not a schnapps fan but you definitely have to try this. All in all, we will definitely come back and are already looking forward to it. Thank you for your kindness towards the guests and also the employees. You actually wish something like that more often. People still laugh here and you had the feeling that everyone was working with heart and joy.

January 2025. The Niederalm has had a new tenant for over a year. Bobby from Saalfelden. Formerly the innkeeper of Seewirt/Thumsee. An extremely friendly and passionate host who cares about the well-being of his guests. As was the case back then at Thumsee, the food is excellent, plentiful and fairly priced. 3 dedicated waiters ensure everything runs smoothly - even at peak times. Thumbs up and waida :-)

We went spontaneously on a Sunday in January and got a table for lunch. Service was always attentive and super friendly. The soups tasted great and the main courses were fantastic too. We had Kasnockerl and the Kaspressburger. Both with a lot of garlic, but that didn't bother us. If you like eating burgers, you'll definitely get your money's worth here. The fluffy Kaiserschmarrn was particularly tasty here! The background noise from the kitchen was a bit unpleasant from time to time. On the other hand, we noticed that the interaction within the workforce was very relaxed. There are enough parking spaces available.

Unfortunately only once On our first day of vacation we visited the restaurant 'Niederalm' in Bad Reichenhall - Nonn. Apparently we were lucky that day because we still got a table for two people despite having made a reservation at short notice. The ambience, service and food were of such great quality that the 5 stars are actually not enough. We felt completely at home and would have liked to have enjoyed this gastronomic experience several more times - but the restaurant was fully booked each time, so we couldn't get a table. In this way, the only visit remains in your memory for a very, very long time.

We are here on holiday and have now eaten at the Niederalm 3 times. Luckily, we found out from our holiday rental company where the Niederalm employees now work. Two years ago they were somewhere else. The entire team is extremely friendly and accommodating. You feel very welcome as a guest. The food tastes excellent and everything is freshly prepared. Next year we will be vacationing in Bad Reichenhall again and will definitely come back to Niederalm to eat. A very special thank you goes to Ariane for the always friendly service. Keep it up. The Nieder Alm in Bad Reichenhall impressed us across the board. The value for money is really great, and the breathtaking views that you can enjoy from the terrace make the experience even more special. Particularly noteworthy are the super-friendly waiters, who were always courteous and attentive. Her warm manner helped us to immediately feel at home. We enjoyed dinner there several evenings in a row and were never disappointed. The quality of the food and the cozy atmosphere make the Nieder Alm an absolute insider tip in the region.
