Food great, service great, packed when the weather is nice. From the thoroughbred hiker to the Munich chic pigeon in flip-flops, everything is there... 😆 Caution! Once again only cash payment! 🙄 All in all a great stopover. You have to eat the Kaiserschmarrn!! 😋

We walked up the summer path with our two children (5 and 8). When we reached the top, we treated ourselves to a large Kaiserschmarrn (for 3 people) and an Obadsda. Attention: the Kaiserschmarrn is huge, but also super tasty. The staff is very friendly.

We picked from Gasse on one of the August end days, not so hot..around 2.5 hours steep hike, were pretty hungry when we arrived to tia absolutely wonderful location right on top... surprisingly was more than 70% full... everyone stops here for brunch or lunch or a.cofee....Service is good, cheerful your crew from the area around Tegernseer...food delicately cooked and anyways since it is on top of mountain, you always fill it fresh...perfect spot for a bite and back to trek

Schön gelegen, Blick auf den südlichen Tegernsee und Rottach-Egern. Nach dem steilen Anstieg von Tegernsee aus freut man sich auf eine Erfrischung!

After the hike, the Neureuther Alm is a worthwhile destination. Nice seats with umbrellas and a perfectly coordinated staff. One person takes the order, it is transferred online and shortly afterwards the cool wheat beer is available. B. already on the table. The Bavarian sausage salad was as good as home, Regensburg sausage, not too finely sliced, red onion, pickles and a good acetic acid. That's how he has to be! And the Kaiserschmarrn for 3 people can make 5 people happy. And all at moderate prices! Thanks to the team and the hosts.

Ordered a Kaiserschmarrn without rum and raisins, but unfortunately received a lot of them. The problem was that the whole Kaiserschmarrn tasted like rum and unfortunately it was pretty bad with a child :( what a shame

Was here to stop off on an excursion. Ambience and hospitality were excellent. The length of stay was longer than planned 🤣

A always nice trip to Neureuth. Also suitable for children. If you have to push a stroller, you should choose another destination. Good footwear is recommended. There are parking spaces at the “Neureuth parking lot” (Satav entry: Neureuthstr. 60, 83684 Tegernsee), the day ticket costs €3. The ascent via the winter path (signposted no. 681) takes place on a good sandy road that is very steep throughout (approx. 20% gradient). If you let your gaze wander around nature, you will notice a lot of flight from nectar-collecting bumblebees and wild bees. Experienced mountain hikers can hike the route over approx. 360 meters in just under an hour, while untrained occasional mountaineers are happy to hike twice as long. The inexperienced or parents with their children should take some glucose with them as a "turbo booster", take breaks more often and not put themselves under any time pressure. The effort is rewarded with a fantastic view of Lake Tegernsee and a hearty snack in the Berggasthof Neureuth. If you head home via the Sommerweg (signposted No. 681a), you take a nice circular route back to the car park via a slightly less steep path (total time from around 4 hours).

Friendly service and humane prices. The Kaiserschmarren is very tasty and the portion is absolutely generous.

A nice stop for food during a Tegernsee hike. Service is extremely fast, you sometimes wait for a waiter longer than you wait for food. Vegetarian options are scarce, but not too bad. Prices are reasonable.

It was closed, I was very happy about it!! I think on the weekend when the weather is nice there will be crowds on the terrace like you only see at the Oktoberfest!!! Peace and quiet on the mountain looks different!

After getting to the top of our hike, we stopped in here for some food and beer. I had a pretzel and beer which went down a treat. The staff are super friendly and the service is fantastic. As an Irish person visiting Germany, this place made me feel like I was experiencing authentic Germany. I will recommend this place, hike, and Tegernsee to my friends!

A great alpine pasture that we have visited several times, with a great view and very friendly staff. The food tasted delicious and the portions were large. We'll definitely come back.

Simply legends. Super nice staff and helped me a lot to charge my laptop, which proved difficult. Of course you can also see the view, simply amazing with the Tegernsee down there. The three of us ate the large Kaiserschmarrn and were very impressed with the taste. And it wasn't exactly a little, even though we're actually good eaters, we couldn't get the last crumbs down. Of course, you have to be aware of what the combination of caramelized and Kaiserschmarrn means. 🐷

Ate the Kaiserschmarrn...It was the best I've eaten in a long time...The surroundings are very beautiful and you can go on great hikes...

We were here today (05/17/24). We were served without any long waiting times. The drinks came quickly. We didn't order any food, but the surrounding tables didn't notice any long waiting times either. The waitresses were very nice. The view was great - despite the bad weather. On the way there: Sturdy shoes are advantageous, as the paths are often quite steep and impassable (especially the other path through the forest, unfortunately no picture was taken of it). Also a little slippery when it rains. If we are in the area again, we would be happy to come back.

Very inflexible. Hardly any customers on site and yet the request for a seat was two rows! further rejected (because of our young dog with whom we would have liked to sit a bit apart) with a “Naaaaaaa!” from the waitress. Walking two meters further was probably too much for the waitress - customers and therefore sales were lost - if you don't want to, you already have!

After you've walked up for a while, you'll notice how hungry you are. But realistically: the food is okay, but not outstanding. The portions are particularly impressive because of their size. You could easily order the Kaiserschmarrn for three people for twice the number of blackheads. However, it must also be said that there are probably few beer gardens that offer such a beautiful view over Lake Tegernsee.

Always a nice place to stop off. Be very early with the climb, otherwise it would be rather crowded on Neureuth.

View very nice. Kaiserschmarrn is very tasty in itself, just be careful for allergy sufferers: it contains almonds! They are not listed on the menu and were only confirmed by the landlord when asked, but with little understanding of the risk of an allergic reaction.

Even though the path was pure torture and I have deep respect for everyone who claims that it would be a "good start" to hiking, I have to say that the view from up here was simply magnificent. It looked like a painting. The youngest service staff here and there weren't quite sure how to deal with customers, but that's just how it was in the beginning. We felt very comfortable and thank you for getting a little refreshment late at night. Everyone also tried very hard to help us which descent we should take. The Kaiserschmarrn and the beer were very tasty up there! Thank you. Btw. There are NO parking spaces at the restaurant or in the immediate vicinity for guests. Only employees have the necessary special permission. To paraphrase: “no pain, no gain”

So delicious, especially the Kaiserschmarrn. Some hikers behave like pigs and pollute the outside area, so that it is now closed to other hikers who just want to eat their snack. Always very good and also very full. The guests could, as befits the mountain, play a little better and behave less like Mingana snobs.

Too busy, mass processing... Nothing for us

I think it's great that there are 2 vegan main courses (lentil soup and roasted potatoes with salad). Despite the huge rush, the food arrived quickly.

A perfectly coordinated team takes responsibility for ordering and serving the food. You feel well looked after, the food is wonderful and helps against tired legs. The prices are fair, the service seems incredibly relaxed and in control of the situation even though the hut is full. Respect and thank you!

Great mountain inn, good food, nice staff, brilliant view, in good weather up to the Großvenediger. Hopelessly overcrowded on the weekend, just like the trains to and from Munich to Schliersee and Tegernsee.

Great cabin with great views and professional service

The inn can be reached in a short time (depending on your fitness and the route you choose). Approximately 450 meters of altitude must be climbed in one direction. The view is okay but not outstanding compared to other tours in the foothills of the Alps. The Kaiserschmarrn in the inn is good, but was much better two years ago. Staff sometimes stressed.

Great views of the lake and mountains

Easy family-friendly hike, max. 1.5 hours each ascent/descent! The Bergasthof has a wonderful sun terrace, we weren't so lucky with the weather, unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the view, we'll definitely be back, but there's still a friendly, cozy atmosphere in the local area. We would like to repeat this hike in winter, if necessary with Grödeln!

Unfortunately we couldn't make any sales here as card payments are not possible...

This wonderful hut, located above Lake Tegernsee, is very popular. On the one hand, this is of course due to its location, as it can be reached from the parking spaces in just over an hour's walk. On the other hand, it's because of their cuisine! I have never eaten so well in a Bavarian hut. Hats off, I have never eaten such good spinach dumplings as I have here, not even in South Tyrol. The Kaiserschmarrn, which is so highly praised here, doesn't quite live up to this level. It's good, but in Austria or South Tyrol the art of preparation is even better. The other dishes also looked excellent.

Very cozy alpine pasture with a large terrace and a beautiful view. A very friendly service person. Despite four dogs and our little daughter (almost 2 years old), we were also welcome inside. The food was delicious too!

Very tasty, the food is good, the service is nice, but there is a lack of flexibility, a long waiting time, not enough staff for all the people who come. The view is fabulous, the seats are quite close to each other (you literally sit on top of each other, as cramped as it can be). Overall quite OK!

Very, very good Kaiserschmarrn. Magnificent view. It was quite crowded, but someone was always getting up. The waitresses are well organized.

We ate spinach dumplings with parmesan cheese. It was very tasty and the service was also great. I'm super satisfied🤗🤗🤗. The view up there is also very beautiful. It's also great for families with children!!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We hiked with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet from Tegernsee up to the Neureuther Alm. Sure, it's a bit of a drag and there was even a bit of snow. The mountain inn is great. We used the outdoor seating area, even though the weather wasn't quite so good. We ate apple strudel and cheese strudel as well as pancake soup and drank lemonade We can only recommend the inn! The toilets were clean and the parlour is wonderfully Bavarian. By the way: the view is marvellous!

Best Kaiserschmarrn, fast service but too many people if you like it

The food and service are great, the Kaiserschmarrn is a huge portion and has a great crunch. The service staff are very quick and friendly, but on typical excursion days the Alm is quite overcrowded and you have to expect waiting times.

Very nice alpine hut with a fantastic view of Lake Tegernsee. The short climb out of the city rewards everyone who meets again on the wonderful terrace of the Neureuth Hut. The Alpine panorama is impressive.

Really good food (lentil soup, fried potatoes) for a fair price. Great view of the foothills of the Alps up to the main Alpine ridge. And of course to Lake Tegernsee. Nice walk in all seasons, toboggan run included. Addition: Ate cheese dumplings on sauerkraut today. Unfortunately just average... Addition Jan. 2023: Ate vegetable stew with noodles and organic beef from the daily menu today: Unfortunately, totally below average. The vegetables were so tolerable, the soup base obviously had some flavor enhancers (soup powder?), the noodles were Kritharaki (little rice-grain-shaped noodles), totally overcooked and mushy. The beef was quite good, but the portion - as well as the entire soup - was very manageable. The vegetable stew didn't look particularly appetizing either, that's just in passing. The fried potatoes were again very good. Now that I have once again had a dish that I was not at all satisfied with, I am correcting my rating downwards. As always, the service was extremely nice, friendly and quick!!!

Der Blick von der Terrasse ist immer wieder der Hammer und der Service ist Top. Bei schlechten Wetter kann man auch innen sehr schön Sitzen.

Ich geh immer wieder gern hin. Das Essen ist lecker, besonders der Kaiserschmarren, aber auch der Rest 😌 Aussicht ist spitze

Cooler Berggasthof, der relativ einfach zu erreichen ist. Essen war super, insbesondere die Riesenportion Kaiserscharrn ist zu empfehlen 😊
