Sometimes the words run out and only the word “thank you” remains. We haven't experienced such warm and personal hospitality, such delicious food and such a pleasant place for a long time. We want to keep the location a secret just for ourselves, but Angela and Klaus deserve the whole world to know how successful their work is. I'm already waiting for the next time!

After traveling a super small road with several curves. The place was closed even when the information on Google is that it is open. It would be very nice for people to know if it is open or not before spending 10/15 minutes on such a bad road.

Great mountain inn, we were warmly welcomed on the outside terrace, got a table for two, and an older couple sat next to us where we could have a nice chat. The food was wonderful, Braunbergflaten, melon salad was delicious, we didn't want to get up but had to look at the cake corner, so it was clear we would stay for the cafe and cake. 😍🤤😋

Beautiful location in the middle of nature. You have a great view from here and you can start hiking straight away, for example the Schwarzwaldsteig. We were there for dinner after a short hike. The furnishings are cozy with a modern Black Forest flair and loving details. The Gmeiner family and the service are very friendly, courteous and warm. We enjoyed the delicious dinner at a quiet table with a beautiful view. The kitchen interprets the typical regional dishes in a clever and modern way. Thank you very much for the wonderful evening! We would love to come back and can only warmly recommend the Braunbergstüble.

Great seating outside in good weather with a beautiful view. The Braunbergstüble is located a bit off the beaten track in an idyllic location in the middle of the Black Forest and reveals peace, a pleasant atmosphere and a nice audience. The schnitzel is very good, everything is homemade and tastes great. The homemade cake topped off the meal, fantastically delicious! In addition, the staff was extremely friendly, quick and helpful. We'll be back :-)

We ordered 2 schnitzels, both of which were relatively small. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio wasn't quite right. It was tasty, but we would have liked a little more meat, which is what it looked like on the one plate on the website. You would have thought the meat had run out and you had to divide it between two plates. Ambiance is great, children's playground is very nicely located.

We vacationed here for a week. A very nice, small hotel with a great terrace and a very nice guest room. Wonderful view of the mountains through the huge window front. Very friendly welcome from the owners and very friendly and attentive staff. The cakes are homemade and incredibly delicious. The breakfast is perfect. The menu offers something for every taste. Warm food throughout. The rooms are good. Family room with 2 bedrooms and balcony. There are parking spaces for holiday guests and there is a space for motorcycles in the garage. Good starting point for hikes. We really enjoyed our time away from the hustle and bustle and will definitely come back.

A family-run mountain inn with lots of charm and esprit. Outside there is a beautiful beer garden with cozy places under shady trees, the interior is well renovated and very attractive, including the sanitary facilities. A sufficient menu with delicious dishes and the professional, friendly staff complete the whole thing. The bike stand with charging option for e-bikes is probably unique. All in all, highly recommended, both for hikers and cyclists and of course also for guests with cars.

The restaurant is modernly furnished and has a beautiful beer garden with an excellent view. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent.

We got to know and love the “Berggasthaus Braunbergstüble” during our vacation. We tried out the extensive menu on a total of four evenings and were completely thrilled by this mostly regional cuisine and the variety of offerings (including vegetarian dishes and the children's menu)! The ambience in "Löcherberg" (approx. 2.5 km an adventurous, slightly demanding route uphill from the main road) is unique and perfectly suited to the region. The light-flooded winter garden immediately impresses guests and the outdoor terrace also invites you to linger. We can only find positive words about the service: Always attentive & friendly - that's how hospitality works. We would be happy to recommend you and come back! 🙂

After a truly adventurous ascent, you reach the Braunbergstüble mountain inn in beautiful nature and are rewarded with fantastic service, the most friendly staff and the most delicious food. The selection of dishes is successful, there is certainly something for every taste and the little guests are also generously considered. The layout of the guest room is also a dream. You can sit here a little longer and enjoy the view. Anyone who has something to complain about here cannot be helped. Great recommendation!

Very nice location, really a great atmosphere both inside and on the terrace. The owners and staff are always absolutely friendly and accommodating, even when the store is completely full. The food is traditional and really recommended. I go there at least once every time I'm in the beautiful Renchtal and have never been disappointed.

Very tasty vegetarian options, both the soup and the farmer's flatbread were delicious!!! It's beautiful in nature, away from all the hustle and bustle, and there's a great playground for children. During the week it was very pleasant and not overcrowded, friendly and fast service, fair prices - we will definitely come back!

We can 100% recommend the Braunbergstüble. The Gmeiner family are great hosts. We received a very warm welcome. We had a long journey. Sit down, arrive and the first drink was on the house. We've really traveled around a lot, but have never been welcomed like this! Our room was large, very clean and had a great view. The breakfast was plentiful, tasty and lovingly prepared every day. The restaurant opens from midday, has warm food throughout and offers very tasty hot and cold dishes, and coffee and cake are also offered. Monday and Tuesday are days off. It's a shame for the guest, but understandable, because the Gmeiner family are up from morning to night. They are also always available to help with hiking and excursion tips. Dear Gmeiner family, we would like to thank you very much for the great stay with you. We didn't miss anything and we felt very comfortable in your house. THANK YOU for that! We ate here 2 evenings in a row (because the first evening was so good). You sit in a beautiful conservatory with a view of the forests and hills. It was asparagus season, so there was a special extra menu with delicious asparagus dishes. The service was good and friendly. The cakes for dessert are also delicious. Definitely recommended, if we are in the area again we will definitely come back!

Very nice restaurant. Everything was newly renovated a few years ago. Food was very good, we had fish soup and schnitzel. Terrace very nicely located. Service was super nice and friendly.

The best snichel I've had in Germany. The batter is super crispy and not at all greasy, the flavor of the meat is spectacular. I recommend cordon bleu. In addition to enjoying beautiful views from the terrace.

100 stars from the bottom of my heart. We were able to celebrate our small but lovely wedding there in September last year. The communication was so warm and uncomplicated from the start. The food, service, location and the whole team are great. The flexibility to move our celebration outside to the terrace, as the weather was great, was also no problem. With incredible hospitality, warmth, peace, sympathy and a love of work, which is obviously not perceived as work, you as a guest experience a completely successful restaurant experience. Something like that is rare these days. Very rare.

Hiked up through the forest from the nearby town and enjoyed an excellent meal and drinks. Lovely place, with great views, good food and excellent friendly service.

We were looking for a quiet place in the Black Forest, from where we could make long hikes in the eponimous National Park. The Braunbergstüble turned out to be ideal. We were there in January 2024, just outside the holiday season. The location is great, there are plenty of well-marked walking trails in the immediate vicinity. The National Park is within a 30 minutes ride. And the people who run the stüble, Angela, Klaus and Irmgard are simply fabulous. Since I am quite tall, they bought me an extra long duvet, No more nightly struggles with a short duvet!! We were the only ones enjoying breakfast and still they managed to offer a breakfast buffet. The food in the restaurant is great as well, they serve things like beer gulasch, knödel with wild mushroom sauce and flammkuchen. The appartments are spacious and luxurious.

Price performance unfortunately not understandable. The fries were the best thing about dinner. The schnitzel was probably frozen, the beer goulash was OK, but we've actually had better.

The road to get there is 1 lane only but safe and you really feel like you're in the forest. When you get there the view is great and the people that run it are really nice. Dogs are allowed, and the food is good. The black forest cake is especially good! Really worth the detour if you're in the area.

Ich war von meinem spontanen Besuch bei euch sehr Positiv überrascht. Da hat einfach alles gepasst, von der sympathischen Einweisung zu unserem Tisch, zu der Location und alles drum rum. Wir haben hier spontan eingekehrt und die aktuelle Spargelkarte und eure normale Karte hatte für jeden was dabei. Ich hab mich für den gegrillten Spargel entschieden und er war super lecker. Preislich ist das Braunbergstüble eher im oberen Mittelfeld, dass macht gar nix da die Qualität einfach top ist. Definitiv ein etwas abgelegener und doch sehr guter Tipp wenn man in der Nähe ist. Vom Bahnhof kann man auch gut hochwandern.

Wunderschönes Ambiente, Leckeres Essen und guter Service. Alles in allem stimmig und zu empfehlen. Preis -Leistung ist gut. Für nicht ortskundige mit dem Navi gut zu finden. Es gibt einen Spielplatz und genügend Parkplätze. Top, jeder Zeit gerne

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Oktober im Braunbergstüble gefeiert. Eine wunderschöne Location mit tollem und aufmerksamem Personal und allem, was man für ein perfektes Fest braucht. Eine einfache und unkomplizierte Kommunikation und immer ein offenes Ohr für unsere Anliegen und Wünsche. Wir haben uns durchweg aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Braunbergstüble ist eine wunderschöne Location, offen und hell mit einer modernen Einrichtung. Auch das Essen war fantastisch. Viele unserer Gäste haben uns nach unserer Hochzeit auf die schöne Location und das tolle Essen angesprochen. Vielen Dank an Angela und Klaus und das gesamten Team für unseren perfekten Hochzeitstag.

Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service - jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Die Beleuchtung könnte etwas gemütlicher/ dimmbarer sein aber das ist wirklich jammern auf hohem Niveau ;-) Wir kommen bald wieder!

Nach unserer Wanderung in Bad Peterstal sind wir dort eingekehrt. Netter Inhaber,der uns auch bedient hat. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft,aber leider sind auch hier die Preise in den letzten zwei Jahren bereits gestiegen. Wenn sie wieder steigen,19%,dann können wir dort leider nicht mehr einkehren.

Wahnsinnig toll eingerichtetes Restaurant dem auch die Speisen auf hohem Niveau daher kommen. Dazu gesellt sich ein aufmerksamer Service. Die Lage ist wunderschön und mitten im Wald. Ein großer Spielplatz bietet Unterhaltung und Spaß für Kinder.

Sehr gepflegtes "drumrum" mit Spielplatz und Ziegen. War jetzt schon öfter hier und bin immer noch super begeistert und überzeugt, wieder zu kommen. Top!

Selten so ein super Gasthaus angetroffen wie dieses. Wir mussten zwar etwas auf das Essen warten, dass wurde aber im Vorfeld klar kommuniziert, deshalb gar kein Problem und sehr professionell! Die Bedienungen sind allesamt sehr herzlich. Das Essen super super lecker. Preise sehr human. Hier kommen wir gerne mal wieder zu Besuch. Vielen Dank für den tollen Nachmittag bei Euch!

Hervorragendes Essen in einem tollen Ambiente und sehr freundlichen Personal

Klasse Ausflugslokal, hat meine Erwartungen eindeutig übertroffen! Super Aussicht mit großer Terrasse, moderne Einrichtung und nicht zu vergessen wirklich schöne Toilettenräume, Eins mit Sternchen. Meine beiden Wauzis waren ebenfalls willkommen, Wasser wurde gleich angeboten. Großer Spielplatz für die Kleinen, Ruhe für die Eltern, perfekt. Dazu gab`s natürlich auch was Feines zu Essen: Ansprechende Karte mit ausreichend Auswahl auch an Veggie-Gerichten. Ich habe mir ein Curry ausgesucht, war sehr lecker. Sehr gerne wieder, bin echt begeistert!

Landschaftlich sehr schön auf Bergeshöhen gelegen ist dieses Gasthaus absolut eine Super-Adresse für einen rundum gelungenen und erlebten Aufenthalt. Wir sind oftmals hier Gast und jedesmal ist es in jeder Hinsicht ein Erlebnis.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Nach einer im Sommer sehr angenehmen Fahrt durch den Wald erreicht man eine Anhöhe mit schönem Ausblick, auf der sich das "Stüble" befindet. Dem Wetter entsprechend saßen wir draußen und haben das ansprechende Ambiente genossen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, das Essen ist sehr gut, der Service ausgezeichnet, die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und kompetent. Auf jeden Fall ein gehobenes "Stüble"!

We were there for a dinner finding no clear information in internet about the restaurants and distance to them in the area of Bad Peterstal-Griesbach. We followed a recommendation from our hotel and it was worthy. We ate schnitzel and trout fillets, very tasty cooked with an equally tasty salad, we drank cold beer before and only a glass of wine at the meal, and we ate tart with cherries, all very tasty and locally made. Nice atmosphere, cheerful people, clean mountain air, green summer view, many parking spaces, possibility to walk in the area, playground for children, prompt and friendly service. I fully recommend.
