We stopped by for a drink just before closing time. The hostess was very nice. So, I can't comment on the food.

The food was very good, but the service was a bit snippy - but service isn't always easy.

Yes, the pizzas were delicious. But the service could definitely be improved. Even when it's very busy, an order shouldn't take 1.5 hours to arrive, despite the lack of staff. Then the seating capacity would be reduced.

First, I'd like to highlight the service. It was pleasant and friendly. However, the ambiance was unfortunately reminiscent of a 90s-style stone desert, and I found the food to be very bland and uncreatively plated. Unfortunately, the overpriced €23 appetizer plate was a negative, offering far too few Italian delicacies. I'd rather have less seafood and more sun-dried tomatoes, olives, cheese, etc. It was still a lovely evening.

Sometimes it's a bit disorganized; if you want spaghetti instead of fries or croquettes, it costs an extra €3. I don't understand why. But the food was first-class.

Ciao Bellini, you're a great restaurant! The welcome from the two waitresses was really warm ❤️‼️ One of the two waitresses was probably the boss!? And she just grinned the whole time. So nice!!! The restaurant was incredibly cozy. Like a good living room... The beer lacked a bit of carbonation, but the Pinot that followed was perfect 👌! I ordered tortellini for dinner. The boss immediately told me they weren't homemade. But I still decided to go for it. Finally, an honest comment from the staff!!! What can I say, they were outrageously delicious 😋! The little rolls were reheated afterward at my request... Can't you just do that?!? 🤷‍♂️ I would have been happy to stay longer. It's just cozy and inviting!!! And the Pinot and Sambuca, perfect 🤩! Thanks for the lovely evening!!! Update 7/16/25: What can I say!?! Everything was PERFECT again‼️ And the Pilsner was just the right freshness now, too! Thanks 🙏

We received a warm welcome as soon as we entered – the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and took plenty of time for us. I'd especially like to highlight the child-friendly approach: They not only provided us with an extra portion of bread, but also ice cream for dessert. The food itself was a dream – fresh, authentic, and prepared with love. The pizza was crispy and well-topped, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. An all-round successful evening in a cozy atmosphere – we'll definitely be back! Ideal for families, but also for a lovely evening for two. Highly recommended!

Starter forgotten, I've rarely eaten such a tasteless pizza, and the service was overwhelmed and rude. Never again!

Cozy restaurant with nice and friendly staff. Pizza was very tasty, well topped with a nice thin and crispy base. The price-performance ratio is completely OK, gladly again.

Great. Really recommended. We have eaten here once with colleagues and once privately with friends in the last few months. Bruscetta was a poem, the pizzas are excellent and the Bolognese is just as it should be. We'd love to come back. Very nice service, very attentive too.

As far as restaurants go in Papenburg, this is one of the best. When the weather is nice, be sure to sit outside. I ordered the branzino entree and it was great. It came with a side of vegetables and a salad. The caprese was great as well. Others ordered the pizzas and liked them too.

The herb butter sandwiches as an appetizer are without herb butter and this was not reported when taking the order. The herb butter was gone, she said when she threw the basket of bread on the table. but the German guests after us will be served it. Pasta is definitely not recommended...pizza is full of fat. we literally dabbed it off and the food is tasteless. If you don't eat constantly because you're just chatting, you'll have a staring waitress at your table who rudely tells you to keep eating. All four of us left the food because it made us all feel nauseous and uncomfortable with the staff, we decided to leave the building. Observation: German guests are treated kindly, the Dutch are snubbed. A clear recommendation. Zero stars!

The service is not good at all, the staff was completely overwhelmed, we were lucky that we got the drinks promptly after repeated requests, the pizza rolls with the salad were only brought after we asked. The tables and chairs were only brought when we were there (We had reserved in advance for six people). Our neighboring table still had no food after two hours. We are often in Papenburg, but this Italian restaurant was the last time I saw it.

Waited 40 minutes for drinks and 50 minutes for the side salad, which consisted of 15 green leaves and a dollop of sauce. Eating 90 minutes. Main courses were ok. And 4 waitresses for 14 tables.

Despite a reservation, we waited 10 minutes before we got a table. Then our order was forgotten and we waited 1.5 hours for the food, which was just average. Definitely won't come back.

We have been eating at Bellini for 15 years and it remains the perfect Italian cuisine. In the test we did in the whole of East Frisia, Friesland and OL as well as parts of the Emsland, this restaurant is absolutely in first place. Pizza with original mozzarella, flour pizza Tipico 00. Eating out, no card payment because it's broken. People probably prefer cash, but I don't know the reasons for that.

Wir waren am 18.05.2024 Abends im Bellini Restaurant. Hier sind einige Gründe warum wir mehr als enttäuscht sind: Eine Kellnerin lief während des Servierens mit Essen im Mund herum und schmatzte laut vor sich hin. Die Gläser (wenn überhaupt) wurden mit der flachen Hand im Glas gespült und nur mit kaltem, klarem Wasser abgespült. Es wurden willkürlich Gläser und Getränke gemischt - ich musste meinen Wein aus einem Cognac-Glas trinken. Die Getränke wurden nicht abgeräumt, erst nach Aufforderung wurden leere Gläser entfernt. Das Essen kam nach und nach und die Hälfte wurde vergessen. Laut Karte sollte zum Salat Brot gereicht werden, bei Nachfrage haben wir selbst das Brot nicht bekommen. Die Kellnerinnen machten sich gegenseitig vor den Gästen nieder. Wir wurden regelrecht ignoriert und erst nach wiederholter Nachfrage bedient. Eine unhöfliche Bemerkung "große Klappe, nichts dahinter" wurde gemacht.Da wir uns beschweren wollten. Die Rechnung sollte man definitiv überprüfen! Ein Lichtblick war jedoch, dass das Essen wirklich gut war. Schade, dass der Service so schlecht war, das hat den Abend leider sehr getrübt.

An authentic Italian restaurant with good options for sitting outside. The Spinaci pizza was “okay” - but not outstanding. The spinach wasn't to my taste... But the edge was tasty and thick and the base was thin.

Ambiance is good, pizza is a 7/10. However, I don't know of any better pizza in Papenburg. Wheat beer 6 euros is definitely too expensive, I have never paid that much in any other restaurant in Papenburg

At first I thought the boss was in a bad mood. His facial expression seems to be so grumpy with all the guests. Bruschetta and pizza were top notch. Yeast wheat is grossly overpriced at €5. Otherwise pretty neat Been there again: May 18, 24 Bruschetta of the lowest quality €7.50 and everything cold. Cold bread, without olive oil. Tomatoes without taste. Garlic looked like garlic powder. Spaghetti and tagliatelle so-so. We were served much tastier pasta dishes at Italian restaurants such as Del CentrO Soltau or Di Nardo in Meppen or La Trattoria Haren. We think 2x drinks, 1x bruschetta, 2x pasta, 2 espressos for €55 is pretty steep. In DM times that was 110 DM. To do this, I went to eat at the Hotel Lennhof (now BVB's Nobelhütte). The boss still looks quite reserved, his wife is very customer-oriented.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant: - Wrong dish brought, part of the order (wine) forgotten - Meat very tough - attempted fraud, ordered 0.5l drink, received o.3l, told when paying but still charged 0.5l. Only received the invoice upon request, then complained. Reply, "Thank you for watching." Unfortunately very disappointed with the visit.

Von A-Z Top! Wir haben uns von den negativen Bewertungen hier nicht abschrecken lassen und sind heute Abend ohne vorherige Reservierung ins Bellini. Kein Problem - wir durften uns aussuchen, wo wir sitzen möchten! Vorab hatten wir Bruschetta und Brot mit Knoblauchbutter! Sehr sehr lecker! Hauptspeise = Pizza + Lasagne! Die Pizza war 1a! Wirklich super! Die Lasagne war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Zum Service: Freundlich, nett und schnell. Es gab sogar noch einen Marsala aufs Haus. Kostenlos. Selten nach einem Besuch beim Italiener so zufrieden gewesen. Wären wir länger in Papenburg, würden wir nochmal dort hingehen!

Despite many negative reviews, we went to Bellini this evening without prior reservation. It wasn't a problem at all - we were allowed to choose where we wanted to sit. Beforehand we had bruschetta and bread with garlic butter! Both were very good and very tasty! For main courses we had pizza and lasagna. Both very tasty. The pizza was 1a. Really great!!! About the service: Friendly, nice & fast! Everyone there!! There was even a Marsala on the house! Rarely have I been so satisfied after a visit to an Italian restaurant! If we were in Papenburg longer, we would eat there again!

Wir waren zu viert im "Bellini". Gegessen wurden " 2 Steakgerichte, Wolfsbarsch und Schwein in Gorgonzola + Vorspeise und Nachspeise. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Bewirtung sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unfortunately I am disappointed with the restaurant, my pasta dish tasted completely like broth and was also overly salty. The pizza bread was just done. There was no music in the restaurant, and the waitress is a bit too loud. Unfortunately rather disappointing.
