Excellent food and cold beer highly recommend. Found by chance as had been recommended to go to the pub which looks permanently closed. Had the kofta with salad and chicken/salad wrap. Fries. Delicious. Casual setting at a good price. Recommend highly.

Absolutely recommended! The kebab here is simply unbeatable - juicy, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous and the ingredients taste super fresh. The bread is crispy and the sauces harmonize perfectly with the meat. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere in the store is very pleasant. I definitely come here often! One of the best kebab shops in town!

Delicious lunch. Because I don’t understand German, the service and chef enthusiastically explained the food to me. Finally, I ordered the daily meal tagesgericht mit reis, salat und brot and coke. It was delicious. The gravy was delicious with the bread. It was worth it. Great place to pitch. On 19/9, my friends and I couldn’t do without lunch at this restaurant. Because it was very appetizing, the chef recommended the seasonal meal: chicken legs and stewed beef. We chose 1 portion of stewed beef and 2 portions of chicken legs. The portions were the same. The food was delicious, paired with American coffee, and the chef also served another stewed beef with vegetables and eggplant for free. I was very satisfied and full of energy to start today's trip. In addition, we made an appointment with the restaurant to spend the last day in Munich on 20/9 and dine in his restaurant. The chef provided us with a special breakfast (for 3 of us, each with a cup of hot drink, a total of €39.5), which was super filling. Good food and lots of smiles.

It’s the third day we’ve had breakfast here. Yesterday, the restaurant owner promised to cook a special breakfast for us. As promised, there was an unexpected surprise. The portion was huge and the taste was very good. However, our stomachs were not strong enough to complete this task😅

We ate with Taki and his sons on several days as a group of 10 and were always welcomed and served in an extremely friendly manner. The food was excellent and drinks and food were on our tables in no time. We felt very comfortable because of your nice, friendly and pleasant manner. 100% recommended for anyone looking for food with a taste of home. The Turkish food here is very tasty, everything tastes very fresh and not at all industrialized, since I have eaten Turkish food in other places in Munich and the taste is very industrial, like fast food. And that doesn't happen here. I have to say that the attention is the best I have received here. The owner is very attentive. It has a wide variety of drinks, soft drinks, and beers. I will return more times for sure.

I had the pleasure of dining at MATBAH last night and all I can say is that it was an exceptional experience. The ambience was warm and inviting, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic! Every course was a delight, from the starter to the dessert. You can tell that fresh and high-quality ingredients are used here. I can only recommend it 👍🏽👍🏽

Great, great food and cold beer

We had the pleasure of dining here served by Taki himself, who's been running the place for over 2 decades and prides himself in the establishment. The falafel, dolma, hummus and particularly the couscous all hit the spot. There was also the spätzle which I personally do not love. Also an interesting fried gemüse (veggie) patty which I hadn't come across before but it was nice, can't go wrong with the fried stuff really. The red wine also was an excellent accompaniment.

Opening hours are incorrect. Been there for free.

We ordered the cous cous, the durum and, in the words of my niece, one of the best burgers she has ever tasted, 10 points! Super recommended.

I wanted to order food, and I did Waited as the man at the counter was busy. After 10 minutes I asked if he was ready to take the order (he was on his cell phone). The question was answered in the negative. After another 5 minutes, when another guest asked, it was explained that no orders could be accepted for the next hour. It's completely incomprehensible to me how you can make your customers wait in front of you without communicating with them that they can't get their kebab for over an hour!

"Bei Taki Junior" is a hidden gem in the alleys of Munich. While strolling through the streets, I came across this delicious kebab, the taste of which pleasantly surprised me. The service was extremely friendly. I can highly recommend it.

The food was quite good, but could have used a little more spice. The food was also clear, which means you can put a little more on your plate, which isn't cheap either. Service, well Oktoberfest, sometimes something gets forgotten, in this case a meal. I wasn't bad, but you still have to be careful. But all in all quite ok.

Food was great but the server was absolutely terrible. I understand people have bad days and language barriers, but she was extremely rude to us, didn't get the order right and was generally annoyed. Seriously the worst service I have experienced in a while that the quality of the food became 2nd tier. Just get the kebab to go and don't sit down to eat especially if your server is this older lady.

Price performance is simply not right. And well, you can still say 2as. Music is too loud and the atmosphere is just not what you would like

6 of us from the Midwest ( USA) ate here on the way back from Oktoberfest and it was a wonderful change from German food- -we had a chicken kebabs and they were amazing. Highly recommend.! Service was great!

Waren spät am Abend nach einem Konzert dort. Trotz eigentlich geschlossener Küche, hat der überaus nette und echt coole Besitzer noch die Teller vollgepackt. War heute in der Nähe und habe mir die Rezensionen durchgelesen, dachte den Probiere ich. Bin also hin, wurde freundlich empfangen, habe Bestellt und das Essen mitgenommen. Von der Einrichtung des Lokals können sich viele was abschauen, da steckt Herzblut drin. Die Zeit reichte noch für einen netten Plausch, bevor ich wieder ging, voller Vorfreude auf mein Essen. Das Fleisch war hervorragend, Mal nicht überwürzt und fein im Geschmack, der Salat knackig frisch und die Sache mit den beiden Soßen darauf ist hammermäßig für den Geschmack. Bemerkenswert finde ich auch, daß hier Fleischtomaten zum Belegen gehören, was man auch deutlich schmecken kann. Ein ganz großes Kompliment, wirklich absolut Empfehlenswert. Der Wirt ein wirklich sehr netter Gastronom mit Herz und Humor. Komme gerne jederzeit wieder vorbei, wenn es mich nach München verschlägt. Gruß, der Taxler aus Bamberg.

The food was great! However, while I've no issue with the staff chatting and joking around outside between themselves, they were doing that uncomfortably loudly, and one of them did the spit-out-of-the-nose thing, right in front of me. Twice. I hope they're treating the kitchen properly. But I'm not going back there.

Eben da gewesen. Gab kein Fleisch mehr (muss also schmecken) ansonsten auch sehr leer geräumt. Man bot mir einen vegetarischen Döner an. Und ich muss sagen verdammt lecker. Nichts schmeckte als läge es schon den ganzen Tag. Alles schmeckte super lecker! Ich komme wieder!

An office favourite for Turkish/Greek cuisine! I've been here ~4times for lunch and never disappointed. During workdays their mittagsmenu is worth the money (8€). They have freshly prepared gravies with chicken, lamb, beef, veggies, moussaka, etc. served with a generous portion of rice, salad and bread. Would highly recommend this. Aside of this they have the regular options as with any Turkish place in munich- döner kebab, boxes and tellers. Their portions have always been very generous.

Bei Taki gibt es hervorragendes Essen. Nicht nur der Döner ist super lecker, auch die Tagesgerichte sind klasse. Ich kann vor allem das Moussaka und die Aubergine mit Käse empfehlen. Beides mega leckere Gerichte. Ich komme sehr gerne hier zum Mittagessen, da auch die Preise sehr gut sind. Schön ist auch, dass es Plätze draußen zum Essen gibt.
