Unfortunately, the roulades were very dry and the delivery time was extremely long. The salad with baked sheep's cheese was extremely unimaginative and carelessly prepared, without dressing or anything else and the side fruit tasted like perfume. For dishes in this price range, I also expect the corresponding quality. A pity!

Finally a menu that stands out from the other offerings. Here, good home cooking doesn't mean schnitzel in 35 variations, but also good home cooking. Not cheap, but worth it.

A successful birthday party. On April 13th We celebrated my mom's 88th birthday here with 22 people. There should be a good Polish-style meal, and it was! Really enough, so there was a lot left over that you could of course take with you. The food was very tasty and, which is not always the case in restaurants, fried really well and tenderly. There were 3 types of meat (beef roulades, duck leg, Devolay), everything was great! Everything else was also very good, we also had dinner. Despite two parallel celebrations (there was still a communion in the main restaurant), everything was brought to the table at the agreed time. There was some “stress” with vegetarian food, but the boss personally apologized for that. The staff, despite the stress of having two different companies, are friendly and accommodating. We had brought our own cake, even a little more than announced, and they gave us all the space in the cold storage that we needed. All in one; pleasant atmosphere, friendly owner, GREAT FOOD! Not only I, but also all the guests were very satisfied. Well, maybe except for the vegetarians...but otherwise, simply recommended. Thank you very much Maya! My mom was very happy! :)

First visit and what can I say - great! Both the rump steak, which was on point, and the cabbage rolls were very tasty. Next time we'll try out the menu further...

We had lunch here recently. If you don't mind getting a "surprise" for lunch, this is the place for you. We had ribs and were very happy for the decent price of €10 and would come back.

I have never felt so uncomfortable and mistreated in a restaurant. We were invited to a celebration with around 20 people for whom food was pre-ordered. Other meals were pre-ordered for four people as no meat is eaten and this was forgotten in the restaurant. I got my food after the others had already finished eating, while the other three went away empty-handed because they kept bringing the wrong thing. I ended up sharing my food with them. The excuse was that there was a lot going on, but if you're overwhelmed with providing guests with food in a restaurant, you might want to reconsider the number of guests you can serve at one time. The bright spot for dinner - “vegetarian” pierogi came to our table. Put it on the plates and discovered that they were filled with meat. We asked the waitress if the plates were swapped and she said there must be vegetarian pierogi between them. We replied that we didn't want to cut up all the pierogi and pick out the ones without meat (everyone else helped themselves from the plates too) and asked for a plate of vegetarian ones. The waitress rolled her eyes, said she would sort it out and didn't show up again. Since we had already had such a back and forth at lunch, we didn't feel like asking for anything to eat anymore. We were there from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and went home hungry because no one in the restaurant cared that we didn't have anything to eat. I haven't eaten meat for 19 years and have never experienced anything like this, whether in Germany, Poland or any other country where I've eaten. I would also say that we are not complicated, above all everything was actually discussed or pre-ordered weeks in advance and it was forgotten. Furthermore, the service overall was poor, as very rarely anyone came to our company, even later when there was not so much going on. Empty bottles were not collected, new ones were not brought and if someone wanted something to drink they had to find a waiter or go to the bar.

Well you don't feel welcome, the food is more a matter of taste but for us it won't be our restaurant

Great restaurant! Everyone is nice and friendly. The food is outstanding! The owner is an angel.

We went to “Maja” for dinner. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and was well attended. A baked goat cheese (photo) was ordered as a starter. The cheese was nice and warm, crispy and mild, accompanied by a few walnuts and some fruit. Very balanced and tasty. The main course was pierogi with meat (photo). The 6 dumplings had a lot of filling, the filling was homemade and minced. The onion/bacon topping could have been a little thicker as it soaked into the dumplings over time. A few extra drops of browned butter would have been perfect. Nevertheless, it was nicely seasoned and very tasty. A visit to a restaurant that was good for body and soul, I felt good there and the staff was attentive. This literally calls for a repeat! The menu has a selection for every taste, so you can also find schnitzels, steaks and roulades on the menu. 1-2 more traditional Polish dishes would suit a Polish restaurant better. But that's just my opinion.

We've always enjoyed eating at Maja's. Unfortunately now a significant price jump. Beef roulade for €24.90 you first have to look for in the area and you won't find a comparably high price in Bonn or anywhere else. Even Cologne breweries are cheaper. The same goes for pierogies. It's a shame, basically.

Ich war spontan mit meinem Kollegen im Restaurant, hatte leider keinen Hunger mehr, was aber überhaupt kein Problem war. Maja sagte sofort, wir könnten uns setzen, auch ohne zu essen. Super! Mein Kollege hat sich dann doch noch die Bratwurst bestellt und war super zufrieden, sehr lecker angerichtet plus Brot und Schmalz! Da ich nicht gegessen habe, kann ich das Essen leider nicht beurteilen, allerdings was ich auf den Tellern gesehen habe, das sah wirklich super aus! Nächstes Mal werde ich ganz sicher etwas essen! Sehr gutes Essen. Waren am Sonntag da auf einem Geburtstag. Die Keller/innen waren sehr nett. Da einzige was ich nicht so gut fand, war die lange Wartezeit. Da müssen Sie entweder weniger Besucher nehmen oder mehr Personal einstellen.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort um Erfahrungen mit der polnischen Küche zu machen. Fazit: Das Essen war ok, die Gerichte jedoch wechselhaft mal gut, mal weniger gut. Die Portionen sind nicht groß aber angemessen. Leider war das Restaurant sehr voll, Wartezeit Vor- und Hauptspeise 2 Stunden zusammen, andere Tische wurden vorgezogen da diese wohl vorbestellt hatten. Atmosphäre sehr, sehr laut und dazu sehr stickig im Restaurant, leider wurden Getränke nicht aufgefüllt da Service zu viele Gäste zu bedienen hatte und die leeren Gläser über 1 Stunde nicht bemerkt wurden. Das Catering (es wurden Essen in typischen Behältnissen rausgetragen) dazu, zeigt das zuviel an Gästen/Bestellungen angenommen wurden und hat uns daher am Ende nicht überzeugt was Schade ist. Hätte man uns das ehrlich gesagt, wären lieber zu einem anderen Tag gekommen - so war es leider der erste und letzte Besuch für uns.

Wow! Naprawdę jestem pod wrażeniem. Zamówiliśmy w sumie 3 różne dania i każde było wyśmienite. Dawno nie zjadłem tak smacznie i syto bo porcje są olbrzymie 😁

Wer die polnische Küche mag, wird dieses Restaurant verehren. Selten von einem Restaurant so in das Land der Küche versetzt worden. Kein Sterne-Restaurant, aber authentisch, sympathisch und einfach lecker.

Zur Zeit nicht zu Empfehlen da die Chefin maßlos überfordert ist und die bestellten Haxen nicht bekommen haben!Selbst die Pirrogen waren nicht da und das Getränk für meine Tochter war nicht vorrätig!!!

Essen sehr gut, wie bei Oma. Rinderroulade, Klöße, Rotkohl. Service war nicht so fit. Ambiente war toll ..im Gegensatz zur Bärenstube.

Super leckeres polnisches Essen. Sehr große Portionen zu den Preisen völlig gerechtfertigt. Ein Vorschlag: in der Karte ist unter Getränke Tee und Kaffee aufgeführt. Vielleicht sollte man zumindest beim Kaffee ausführlicher schreiben ob es auch latte macchiato capuccino etc gibt. Ansonsten super essen und Bedienung. Sehr gute Laune ! Schmeckt typisch Polnisch wozu auch die großen Portionen passen. Ein Vorschlag noch: wenn es einen Lieferservice gäbe wäre ich Stammgast !

Ich war bereits mehrfach bei Maja essen. In der Innenstadt und jetzt auch in Sieglar. Serviert wird gute polnische Küche. Lecker zubereitet und von einer netten Bedienung serviert. Das Essen ist polnisch-deftig und sehr schmackhaft. Ich bin bisher immer satt geworden. Ich gehe gerne wieder dort essen.

Bardzo miła obsługa , panie są uśmiechnięte i widać że wkładają dużo serca w odpowiednią atmosferę i jedzenie , Bravo !!! i pozdrowienia.

Waren zu dritt dort zum ersten mal Essen. Haben über eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet obwohl das Lokal nicht voll war ! Ich hatte die Rindsroulade, die war lecker aber etwas hart, es gab nur 4 Klöße ! Viel zu wenig, man wird nicht satt. Rotkohl auch wenig. Meine Begleitung hatte den Gulasch mit Reibekuchen das war in Ordnung aber viel zu teuer. Die dritte Person hatte "Devolaj" eine Hähnchenbrustroulade die eigentlich mit Butter gefüllt sein sollte, wenn man die durchschneidet dann sollte sie Butter herausfliesen, das war nicht der Fall. Die "Pierogen" sind viel zu teuer für nur 6; Stück die man bekommt ! Man wird davon nicht satt. Ein Preis zwischen 8 und 9 Euro wäre dafür angemessen oder es müssten zumindest 10 Stück für den teuren Preis sein. Mein Fazit als Restaurant-Tester ist: das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis stimmt hier nicht. Möchte die Cheffin auf dauer überleben muss sie die genannten Dinge ändern!

Wir waren öfter bei Maja als sie noch im Troisdorf Zentrum war. Die Gastgeberin sehr nett. Unsere Tochter hat bei Maja ihre Hochzeit gefeiert. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet, große Portionen, Lob an die Köchin, Preis-Leistung Verhältniss stimmte. Vor 4 Tagen haben wir in der neuen Location Hochzeit gefeiert. Gemütliche und gepflegte Ambiente, Das Essen ist immer wieder lecker, nette Bedienung . Danke immer wieder gerne.

Unter klassischer Polnischer Küche habe ich mir etwas anderes vorgestellt. Das Essen war trotz alle dem gut.

Wir waren vorher schon bei Maja als Sie noch in Troisdorf Zentrum war. Damals war es auch lecker aber das Ambiente ist kein Vergleich zur neuen Location. Location: 4 Sterne Ein gutes Restaurant in Zeitgemäßem hellem Design, kombiniert mit der Geschichte des Hauses. Es ist sehr sauber und übersichtlich. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Service: 5 Sterne Der Kellner und auch die Chefin sind sehr herzlich und wahre Gastgeber. Die lockere aber trotzdem sehr professionelle Art des Kellners ist herausragend. Schön noch echte Profis zu sehen. Essen: 4 Sterne Wir hatten Schnitzel und Pilmenis (ich glaub so heissen die Ravioli ähnlichen Teigtaschen) Das Schnitzel war handwerklich korrekt. Die Sauce war gut aber ich glaube nicht komplett hausgemacht. Alles in allem eine gute 4/5. Preis: 4,5 Sterne Preis/Leistung passt. Es sind ordentliche Portionen und insgesamt sind wir bei ca. 25€ pro Person gelandet was in der heutigen Zeit wirklich gut ist.

Waren heute zum ersten mal.dort sind freundlich empfangen worden Essen super lecker und sehr reichlich auf den Teller serviert der Aperol hat 5 Sterne verdient sehr nette Kellnerin eventuell war das die Chefin persönlich sehr sauber in den WC würde ich das Restaurant empfehlen ja auf jeden Fall die Preis sind für die Portion auf den Teller völlig in Ordnung wir gehen dort auf jedenfalls öfter jetzt essen

Essen wie immer Top , waren mit unseren 2,5 jährigen Zwillingen die nicht unbedingt gerne sitzen bleiben wollen und es wurde liebevoll damit umgegangen! Danke für den tollen Service .
