Beef&Co. in Wuppertal

A complete disaster. We couldn't be reached by phone. We wanted to eat there on our wedding day, there was no band announcement, nothing. When we arrived the shop was closed due to water damage, which we could have reported online. Thanks for the info!

We recently visited this restaurant. It's immediately apparent that attention to cleanliness and maintenance is paramount – everything is new and clean. The decor is interesting. The friendly waitresses served us attentively and politely. We were particularly pleased that the tables were thoroughly cleaned after each guest. We ordered two beers, two standard cheeseburgers, and fries with gravy. The cheeseburger was fine: the bun was soft, the patty was fresh. What I didn't like was the meat-to-bread ratio – I felt the meat was too little and the flavor was barely noticeable. The menu states that the patty weighs 150g, but to be honest, I had my doubts. Maybe that's just my subjective impression. What I liked least was the large amount of mayonnaise. The fries, on the other hand, were really delicious. Overall, our impression was positive, and we left in a good mood. We'll definitely be back!

As soon as you enter, you notice how much attention is paid to cleanliness. For me, that's always a direct indicator of quality. The food didn't disappoint either. Very fresh, hearty, delicious, and even homemade cheesecake with daily toppings at the end. I recommend the Friday special. Many thanks to the staff and a special shoutout to Sero!

We were able to try the restaurant today via the NRW voucher booklet. The decor and atmosphere are appealing. The staff are friendly but unfortunately untrained and very, very careless. With an outside temperature of 10 degrees Celsius in the evening, the door was wide open, and the place was freezing cold. I asked two different waitresses twice to please close the door. They nodded, but didn't do it. In the end, I got up and closed it myself. When ordering the double patty cheeseburger, I said, "No braised onions under any circumstances, but fresh onions, please." We got it with braised onions. Of course, I immediately objected. The waitress seriously said, "Yeah, it's just in the sauce." I said, "Then you have to make us aware of it and not just bring us something we didn't want." She disappeared without a word, and another waitress brought it as ordered. The taste was OK, but nothing more. I had the Philly Cheeseburger with extra jalapenos. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. The taste was absolutely okay, but extremely greasy, like, above average. The bun was very sweet, too sweet... would have been better with Nutella. The Cajun fries were dry and a small portion, not worth the €4. A shame. We won't be coming back. There are simply much better burgers.

While on a business trip, I was looking for a good burger and found it here! BBQ was top-notch, Cajun fries were crispy and spicy, just as they should be, and homemade lime and mint lemonade was top-notch. Everything was served quickly by friendly staff and beautifully presented. I'd be happy to go back anytime.

Disappointing and not recommended for the price. There was a hair in our burger. Nothing special in the taste. Far too expensive for what they deliver. Fries are super thin and not tasty. Payment only in cash. It looks better than it is.

The layout of the store really appeals to me personally. Cozy, modern, stylish. The service was fine. Friendly, attentive. I got my fries several minutes before the burger and had already eaten them when the burger finally arrived. Not ideal, but it can happen. I was disappointed with the burger itself (I had a Beef Deluxe). The tomato slice still had the stalk in it and the onion slice was thicker than the meat patty. Overall, I found the burger to be bland. It wasn't mine.

Unfortunately, the cheeseburgers were very salty and the sweet potato fries were soggy.

That was the best burger I've eaten. The staff are very attentive and very nice. The prices are honestly very good for the quality.

This place is recommended because the store is attractively designed and offers recommended food. The prices are more than fair and the employees are all polite. Plus, I enjoyed the food.

A good friend recommended this restaurant to me, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Great food, great prices, very friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere! You'll definitely be seeing me here more often from now on! I could go on raving about the restaurant, of course, but that would take up too much text, so I would simply recommend everyone try it out for themselves. You certainly won't be disappointed.

Great store, you are greeted in a friendly manner and immediately offered a seat with the respective menu, the desired order is brought promptly. The employees are all super friendly and radiate a good atmosphere throughout the store. The food as well as the service is top notch.

I visited Beef&Co for the first time today, and I can tell you it won't be my last. Both the waiters and the owner were very hospitable. As soon as I entered the restaurant, the menu caught my eye – so many unique dishes that you won't find anywhere else in Wuppertal! I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and can highly recommend it. I also ordered chicken strips, which also tasted very fresh and juicy. For dessert, I got a shake – it tasted absolutely amazing. I came with high expectations, and they were more than met!

There were four of us there and I would give the food and service 5 out of 5. The ambience is not quite my thing, I would perhaps prefer a little less light and antique decoration, but tastes vary. Important food and service great 👍

The sweet potato fries were average, didn't taste like much. The burger was okay, the meat was particularly convincing, but there is still room for improvement in terms of taste. The service is very friendly, but you can't pay by card, which is a significant negative point for us.

Unfortunately I have to correct my review: On my last visit I ordered a vegetarian burger again. I had a friend with me who I had raved about the burger to. The fries were great again, but the patty from the burger wasn't a "beyond meat" patty, but a vegetable donut. Nobody told us anything when we ordered, only when we asked what THAT was supposed to be, we were told that we had run out of patties! We didn't want to eat it that way because it didn't taste good and so we returned the burgers. There was no real apology or reparation. We then had to pay the full price for the fries and drinks. Sorry, but that's not customer friendly. It's been a year since the incident and I haven't been there since. It's a shame. But I had already written back then: “Let’s see if the level is maintained”. Answer: Nope. Old review: Wow... I was really a bit skeptical about the vegan burger, but it was (and is) really tasty. The fries are also very tasty and crispy. Everything is freshly prepared, the waiting time is completely okay, the price is great and the staff is totally attentive and very friendly. We would definitely like to come back. The nice welcome, the cozy atmosphere, the very friendly service, the great price/performance (burger, fries, 2 drinks €23), the perfectly seasoned Cajun fries, the juicy and definitely homemade burgers, the comfortable chairs, the free mint tea at the end... Disaster, ordered via UberEats. According to the app the delivery time should be 40 minutes. This was moved back a total of 3 times, so delivery took over 2 hours. Food completely cold and extra ingredients forgotten. I called and the apology was that it was the Uber Eats driver's fault. It's just strange that nothing like this happened with any other orders from other stores. Especially since you can clearly see in the Uber app that the driver was standing in front of the store and the app said that the order wasn't ready yet. Maybe you should work on your orientation so that an order is made at the same time and not everything is cold. Absolutely not recommended!

Be careful to all Schlemmerbuch customers! Although it was clearly marked in the gourmet book, it was insisted by telephone that the voucher was not valid for collection. After a lot of back and forth, a pickup was finally possible. However, here again an unfriendly surprise: instead of two main courses for the price of one (as listed in the voucher), there are only the burgers, not the menus. This clearly violates the service mentioned in the gourmet book (see menu). Apparently they just want to collect the money. We will report it to the provider!

It's worth eating there. Courteous, fast and very friendly service. Making the cocktails correctly just takes practice.

I ordered food, 1. It didn't taste particularly good, my burger was sweet (yes there were caramelized onions on it) and still it just tasted like sugar, 2. my food was cold, the burger was cold and soggy, the onion rings were cold, soggy and mushy. And that after waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for my food. Not fair at all in terms of price. The cola was good. Really a shame.

Eat delicious burgers in a cozy, quiet atmosphere. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening, but we (11 people) were served warm, perfectly prepared burgers and side dishes at the same time. What I liked best was the serenity and peace that reigns in the restaurant.

Today we spontaneously went looking for something to eat on the suspension railway. Very polite and accommodating, nice service, delicious dishes and reasonable prices! Finally, there was a digestive schnapps on the house, which rounded off the evening. The only small criticism is that card payments will not be possible in 2024... (I know the pros and cons... Simply recommended with greetings from Saarland :-)

Friendly service, food was okay. My vegan burger patty should have been fried longer - according to my taste. My husband didn't seem to be completely full from a burger. The cocktail was very tasty. The women's toilet appeared to be broken, a lady who passed me in the toilet corridor told me. I then went to the men's room. Price/performance wasn't entirely justifiable for me.

This was our first time here and we will definitely come back! The furnishings are super nice and cozy, you immediately feel at home. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Just have eat by the Beef&Co based on the written review and a recommendation from a friend, unfortunately the burger restless, you can name it as anything except burger, no meat test at all, I didn’t feel that I ate something and have to go to another restaurant to eat again. Don’t waste your money ….

Unfortunately, the food was not as expected and as beautifully presented on Instagram. I had a chicken burger and it was the worst I've eaten in my life. This was because unfortunately there was no çıkan (felt). Compared to the chicken, the onion was thicker. It looked like chicken because of the crust, but there was hardly any meat inside.

It was super tasty plus great service and a very tasty dessert 👌😉

The restaurant looks very appealing at first glance: the retro pictures on the walls give the room a charming, nostalgic atmosphere that makes you want to have a cozy meal. Unfortunately, there were a few details that made our visit less relaxing. The seat height didn't really match the table height, so we felt a bit uncomfortable while eating. With our menu we were served the fries first and then the burger. It would be more harmonious here if everything came at the same time so that you can enjoy the individual parts of the menu together. Unfortunately, our burger arrived cold, which spoiled the enjoyment a bit. When it comes to snacks, such as nuggets, attention is paid to creative presentation as they are served in small decorative deep fryers. However, it would be more practical to get a plate with it. A note about payment: Unfortunately, only cash payment is possible in the restaurant. Overall, the restaurant has potential and a charming atmosphere, but a few improvements in service and procedures would be appreciated.

Very tasty burger, the fries were unfortunately over-seasoned, service was quick and friendly, great staff. Unfortunately the music was very loud. In terms of price, it's not at the lower level, but still within the range. What I don't like at all is that you can't pay with a card because the device is probably broken.😇 Otherwise really worth recommending.

The burger joint is fine and the inside looks nice and inviting. Had a beef burger with gorgonzola which was really good 5 stars. The Cajun fries were rather mediocre but 3 stars (my opinion). Would definitely recommend the restaurant.
