Beef&Co. in Wuppertal

The restaurant looks very appealing at first glance: the retro pictures on the walls give the room a charming, nostalgic atmosphere that makes you want to have a cozy meal. Unfortunately, there were a few details that made our visit less relaxing. The seat height didn't really match the table height, so we felt a bit uncomfortable while eating. With our menu we were served the fries first and then the burger. It would be more harmonious here if everything came at the same time so that you can enjoy the individual parts of the menu together. Unfortunately, our burger arrived cold, which spoiled the enjoyment a bit. When it comes to snacks, such as nuggets, attention is paid to creative presentation as they are served in small decorative deep fryers. However, it would be more practical to get a plate with it. A note about payment: Unfortunately, only cash payment is possible in the restaurant. Overall, the restaurant has potential and a charming atmosphere, but a few improvements in service and procedures would be appreciated.

Very tasty burger, the fries were unfortunately over-seasoned, service was quick and friendly, great staff. Unfortunately the music was very loud. In terms of price, it's not at the lower level, but still within the range. What I don't like at all is that you can't pay with a card because the device is probably broken.😇 Otherwise really worth recommending.

The burger joint is fine and the inside looks nice and inviting. Had a beef burger with gorgonzola which was really good 5 stars. The Cajun fries were rather mediocre but 3 stars (my opinion). Would definitely recommend the restaurant.

Burgers are ok, but not a huge hit. Too much sauce and too much cheese. Of course it's a matter of taste. Fries were pretty good too.

We were there today and had the Beef BBQ Burger and the GOAT Burger with goat cheese and both were delicious. We also had beautifully crispy and well-seasoned sweet potato fries with dips. Also recommended. But be careful, card payments are not possible on site. That should slowly be the case in 2024. But that doesn't take anything away from the rest. Gladly again.

Solid three stars because the taste wasn't 100% convincing. Had the chicken burger, but the meat was a bit tasteless. The bread, vegetables and fries, however, were very tasty. You should expect a little waiting time. Otherwise nice service, but not worth a second visit.

We drove from Essen to Wuppertal to try the food. The store is super modern and looks very neat and clean (including the toilets). The girls were also really nice and made an effort. Unfortunately, the burgers didn't taste like anything. The meat was unsalted, you could only taste the mayo slightly and the burger buns were cold. The tastiest thing was the cucumber…. Unfortunately it was the worst burger I've ever tasted and unfortunately very annoying for the price. Still room for improvement.

The deluxe burger tasted very good and the portion was appropriate. There are only three types of beer, many very sweet soft drinks. The homemade lemonade was flavorful but also overly sweetened. Likewise the otherwise delicious milkshake. Nevertheless, I will go again. There are good drinks elsewhere, and burgers like this are rare.

Hello everyone, we went to your restaurant as a couple this evening to try/test this. After reading many reviews, we wanted to get an impression for ourselves, so we set off from Bochum to Wuppertal. When we arrived and were greeted warmly, we first looked around curiously. At first glance, the store makes a stylish impression, but small cosmetic repairs on some corners and edges could do the ambience some good. Service staff was friendly and alert. Ordered food and drinks and waited with anticipation, everything came to the table quickly. We once had the crispy chicken burger and the classic cheese and a hot dog classic. In my opinion, the burger composition was very simple, but everything was as it was on the menu (unfortunately it's not like that everywhere). There is still room for improvement in terms of taste, a little more salt and pepper would have been good. I found the bun to be very soft, slightly toasted would be better because then it wouldn't get soggy so quickly. Fries were really good. Unfortunately, the hot dog wasn't that great, you actually eat something like that on your hand, but unfortunately it was completely pasted with mustard and ketchup. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, see photos, there could be some improvements in the serving, for a better eating pleasure . I would be happy, also for other guests, if you would take something away from it. All the best and always a full shop. Best regards

Good atmosphere and personeel. The burger taste was decent, not perfect unfortunately, abit too much carmalized onion was put in the burger, which might have ruined it abit. For this reason a 4 star is given.

We were there on Thursday and don't understand some of the negative comments. The burgers were very tasty, the meat was obviously homemade and fresh. Burger buns are crispy and fluffy on the inside. There was also a wide range of vegan options, sauces and meats. Sweet potato fries don't come out as crispy as regular ones, as everyone who cooks knows that. Nevertheless, they tasted good and crunchy and they weren't ready-made things from the wholesaler. If you want “fat-free” and “healthy” food, a burger joint is the wrong place for you. The two girls at the service were very nice and accommodating, which I no longer expect in Germany. The only drawback - please fry the onions instead of throwing them raw into the burger. And there is no card payment. Otherwise a very tasty burger, nice atmosphere in the restaurant and relatively good prices for the current location. We'd love to come back.

The waitress insulted me and my colleagues when we were paying and became abusive when we asked if we could pay by card. “It’s more than known that it doesn’t work here.” So we were tourists for the first time (and last time) and of course we had cash with us and we just wanted to ask... Unfortunately also very loud music

Never again! The food was TOO FATTY, which was disgusting for me. You feel uncomfortable afterwards. The sweet potato fries were somehow stuck together, very limp and didn't look tasty at all.. It seems as if the fries are fried 1000 times in the same oil. The prices are also very expensive for such poor quality.. not recommended.

The ambience is very stylish, down to the smallest detail, even in the toilet 😉 The service was very friendly and accommodating. The citizens were very fresh and the size was perfect. The two of us shared a portion of Pommer. The homemade lemonade is also highly recommended, delicious and refreshing.

We ordered the Beef Cheesy Drip Burger and it was absolutely delicious. our order was ready in 10 minutes. The meat was tender and the caramelized onions were a delight. Together with the aromatic sauces it was a taste experience. The cozy atmosphere inside, combined with the opportunity to sit outside in the fresh air, added to the dining experience. Knowing that the food was halal was a bonus. And the attention to details, like clean restrooms stocked with essentials, showed their genuine care for customers. Overall it was a perfect 5/5 experience 👍

Good burger. We had a burger and a Philly cheesesteak. The Philly was not an original because it is made with finely cut steak and this was with minced meat, which the waitress expressly pointed out, so everything was fine then there were no misunderstandings. I thought the burger was really tasty and everything went well. The fries could have been hotter. Otherwise, the store is really chic and definitely a great location in the evening. The card looked a bit worn because the paper on the clipboard was quite thin and quickly stopped looking so good, which just didn't fit in with the stylish rest of the store. Maybe just print it on slightly thicker paper that won't give up the ghost so quickly.

Yesterday we went to Beef&Co to break our fast and were very satisfied. We had made a reservation and were greeted at our table with a carafe of water and dates. The food and service were excellent. The seating was okay, although the bench was a bit too high and the table too low for us, so we had to contort ourselves a bit. It might be easier for smaller people.

This was our second time here. The burgers are great! Super good veggie alternatives 2024 in the Schlemmerblock Otherwise quite expensive. Hardly possible for less than €20 per person. Quality great and service very friendly. If it's full, it can take longer

So first of all you have to say that visually it is probably one of the best shops in Wuppertal. A very nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. Rarely seen anything like this in years. With the variety of dishes you can order here, there is something for everyone. Be it hot dogs or burgers, simply promising and, above all, everything tastes very tasty. I really enjoy being here and am glad that there is a shop like Beef&Co here.

The food was very tasty. However, the toilets are super dirty and there is a lot of dust everywhere in the restaurant. Not so pleasant. Chairs really very uncomfortable.

The Beyond Meat citizens are absolutely amazing. It tastes super juicy. As a vegan you can have a great meal here.

A very special restaurant, at least if you are over 50, maybe that is one reason why the average age was around 30, at least on this evening. The seating is pretty tight, but not too tight, music in the background, cola and water are served in bottles, without glasses and not even a straw, that's not for everyone, you may be able to get them on request. In my opinion, the furnishings are not entirely harmonious, hip modern furniture but there are pictures of Jimi Hendriks, Marlon Brando, Brigitte Bardot, James Dean, etc. hanging on the walls. Very friendly service, unfortunately long waiting times for the food to arrive, around 45 minutes, and then only the fries were brought, the burgers only after another 10 minutes. The burgers were really good, so 5 stars for the food.

Unfortunately disappointing. There were two of us and we had to wait a relatively long time for food. When it arrived neither the fries nor the burgers were warm. The taste was delicious, except that the fries were too thin in our opinion. The price was too high for what was served at the end. And very important: if you want taxes to be paid, you should make sure you don't just get the interim invoice.

It was our first time at Beef and Co. and we will eat here again and again whenever we are in the area. For us as vegetarians it is always a challenge to find a restaurant where the vegan / vegetarian patty tastes good and not like the sole of a shoe. Everything is just right here at Beef and Co. the atmosphere invites you to linger, the waiters are very attentive and the quality of the food is excellent. The cakes are very tasty and the ice tea is fresh and not too strong in taste. We would love to come back and look forward to our next visit.

BEEF&CO in Wuppertal is simply fantastic! I can't rave enough about the excellent quality of the food and the first class service. The waiters are incredibly friendly and attentive, and they always have a smile on their faces. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or a romantic date. The menu offers a wide range of delicious dishes and I can personally highly recommend the juicy burgers (especially the BBO) and the heavenly sides (sweet potatoes especially). Every visit to BEEF&CO is a pleasure for the senses, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Super tasty burgers. The crispy chicken variants in particular are a really positive change. Cajun fries and homemade sauces top. However, for the high price, I find the portion size to be quite small. Compared to the other burger shops in the city, this is one of the above-average shops. It won't blow your mind, but it's very solid. If anyone uses Neotaste, there are deals there too. Unfortunately, card payment is not possible.

I was particularly impressed by the Gorgonzola Burger menu. Clean food, friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I really like the interior with the black colored walls in combination with the wood and leather interior of the furniture. Keep it up! Such a modern and delicious shop is very good for the Luisenviertel.

We recently stayed here on a quick stopover in Wuppertal and we really weren't disappointed! One of the best burger restaurants I've been to in a long time. The menu is very clearly laid out but what you get is really good. In addition to the burgers, they also put a lot of effort into the sides. I had the Cajun fries with the garlic mayo and also the lime mayo. You can find unusual burgers almost everywhere, but these sauces are just pretty unique! We can highly recommend the shakes as a dessert! If we are in the area again we will definitely come by again.

We ate here because of the voucher book. We had previously reserved a table. That was good because the store was very busy. First of all we ordered homemade lemonade. The best I've ever drunk. The menu had a large selection of different burgers, with and without bread, as well as a large selection of meatless options. My parents ordered the chilli cheeseburger without bread, I ordered the Mexican burger and my son ordered a vegetarian burger. Well seasoned fries, I forgot the name, and we could choose between different great mayonnaises. We agreed: the best burgers we have ever eaten! Served by super friendly staff. My son then topped the whole thing off with an incredibly delicious shake. We will be back! It was great.
