We had salad with turkey strips. It was good, but I've had better. The price would have been perfectly fine, but the salad portion was modest, so... I can't say anything about the rooms. Service was very quick and friendly 🙂

A very family-run and friendly restaurant! We stopped here after a visit to the Lohberg Wildlife Park and were quickly seated. The service was prompt, and so were our meals. The quality and value for money were very good, and the food tasted excellent! We'll be back when we're in the area! A tip: the Kaiserschmarrn was our highlight.

Home cooking and burgers it tasted very good

We were here for dinner, and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The prices are quite fair, and the service was consistently friendly. We sat outside in the Lamer market square and felt completely at home.

We've been coming here for a weekend on our motorcycles every July for three years now and have felt at home from the start. The food and drinks are excellent. The underground parking garage is ideal for us and is free of charge.

We spent a weekend at the Dimpfl Stadl as it was a good base for visiting the State Garden Show in Furth im Wald. The room was generously equipped with everything you could need. The breakfast was also very plentiful and left nothing to be desired. We also ate at the restaurant in the evening, and both the various schnitzels with side dishes on Schnitzel Day and the other dishes and drinks the following day were all delicious. The value for money for both the meals and drinks, as well as the entire stay, was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The ambiance and overall atmosphere made it a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

We went there often for dinner or breakfast. We also went there with colleagues when we worked nearby. One day, right after they opened, we were in for a surprise. Since we were there so often, we considered ourselves regulars; everyone knew us, especially the friendly Czech waitress. The chef himself, in the kitchen, served us dumplings from the day before. I needn't say more. I'll never go back to that place.

We stayed there for five nights. What can I say? The room was great and spacious. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast had everything you could need. The restaurant was also great, and almost all of the dishes we ate in the evenings were delicious.

Great food, very friendly service

Just the right place to arrive after a day's road biking in the Bavarian Forest. Good room, good beer, good food. And fast service despite the rush hour. If only the first thing you get at reception isn't a slip of paper handed to you on which you're supposed to write down your name, address, etc. – all the information you've already entered on the reservation website! Sorry, that's a bad habit! If the hotel absolutely needs a signature, they should be able to print out the reservation information. I'm a guest, not an applicant!

We decided to have dinner here at short notice. We were hoping for Leberkäse (meatloaf) and knuckle of pork, but unfortunately, they weren't available. Instead, there were plenty of other delicious dishes to choose from. We were lucky that it was Schnitzel Day. It was incredibly delicious. The service was excellent. We received a very friendly welcome and were served. A visit here is definitely worth it.

Absolute disaster, the service was a somewhat older woman who was totally rude, the knuckle was unbelievably salty, the beer mats were really sour crap what they threw at us, liquor under 2cl, all in all total crap, never go there again

Last night, the three of us ate at Dimpfl-Stadl – and it was a complete success! Two Cordon Bleu dishes and one Onion Roast Beef dish – everything was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the meat tender and perfectly seasoned – exactly what you'd expect from a Bavarian restaurant. For a sweet ending, the three of us shared a Kaiserschmarrn – and even though we were already full, we couldn't stop eating. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with powdered sugar and apple sauce – simply heavenly! The atmosphere was cozy, the service friendly and attentive. If you're looking for good, down-to-earth cuisine in a welcoming environment, this is the place for you. We'd love to come back! ☺️

The burger was delicious, served on a very fresh bun and with crispy fries. The schnitzel and the cordon bleau were also delicious. The service could have been a bit friendlier, but I think the lady was very stressed and even forgot our order once.

We were there for dinner. It was schnitzel day. The schnitzels were delicious. The wait for the food was also very short. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a Bavarian tavern: wooden but friendly and modern. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were served quickly. We were lucky and got a seat without a reservation. To be on the safe side, you should call ahead. All in all, the visit was worthwhile. We'd be happy to come back.

We spent a few lovely days in Lam. The staff was very friendly, the accommodation was very nice and comfortably furnished. We booked bed and breakfast and were very satisfied. Dinner in the in-house restaurant was also very tasty.

We went there for dinner today. We ordered roasted dumplings, salad with mango dressing, pork fillet skewers, two burgers, and one dumpling with sauce, along with three drinks and two espressos to finish. The service was prompt. We waited less than five minutes for our drinks. The menu offers a sufficient selection without being overwhelming. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the time. The dishes were delicious! The dumplings were particularly well-received. The burger had a delicious bun with sesame seeds on top, and the amount of cheese and sauce was just the right amount. The meat was juicy and well-seasoned, and the amount of ketchup was just right. We'd be happy to come back :)

Nice restaurant, very pleasant atmosphere, friendly and fast service, but unfortunately the food (we went there twice) was only mediocre. The dumplings were crumbly, the sauce looked like a traditional German parcel sauce, and the roast was dry. It was okay for the kids; they ate their schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn.

We went there for dinner and received a warm welcome. Pets are also allowed (we were there with our dog), and upon request, our pet was even provided with an extra bowl of water. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the food and drink; it was delicious, and we'll be happy to come back for dinner on our next visit.

We were there on Boxing Day with a reservation (we had three large dogs!), and it was just as smooth as we'd agreed on the phone! We had four fantastic meals (beef steak, roast beef with onions, and roast dumplings) with very good value for money. All dishes were beautifully presented and perfectly prepared. Restrooms were clean. There's plenty of parking in the area. We'll definitely be back!

Was only there for dinner... The restaurant is located in the middle of Lam's market square. We ate there 3 times and everything was great and tasted great. Very friendly service who is great at her job. Prices were completely ok. Nice atmosphere. Gladly again when I'm there. Great menu.

I only rate the restaurant, I can't say anything about the accommodation. Today (on my first day of vacation) I had a wonderfully delicious pepper steak with potato wedges and vegetables, it tasted fantastic & I thought the price was absolutely reasonable! Cozy outdoor seating in fantastic late summer weather - so nice! 🤩 The service staff was very attentive and accommodating - I would love to come here again!

Very very unfriendly staff We wanted to eat, there was still enough space and we were supposed to sit down at a table with 3 people and a dog where several people were already sitting. I'm not normally a prude and if there wasn't enough space we would definitely have done that, but that's what I think Don't ruin your vacation, we know why we've never been there even though we've probably been to Lam 15 times

We were on vacation twice and ate in the Dimpfl-Stadl, super nice service and the food was great, And at fair prices. The house burger 🍔 is only recommended. Thursday schnitzel day. 👌

The food is really tasty, we ordered a snack in the evening when we moved into our room. It was really tasty and see a lot. The service was quick and very nice. Man feels at home and wanted. There are several free public parking spaces on the street where the inn is and very quiet location at night. It was just warm in the room and the door to the room was stuck. Otherwise the room was very modern and the mattress was comfortable. The location was well located for the hike on the Großer Arber and was near an Aral gas station. Thanks for the hospitality 😊

Unfortunately the service isn't really good, the food for the children comes 20 minutes before the parents eat, so you can't eat in peace because the children are finished by then and that's always been the case, so it's not an isolated case. The food is good and the price/performance level is still good.

We arrived there late in the evening and wanted to have a little something to eat. The kitchen had been closed for a while, but the chef, with our sincere thanks, still prepared us a snack. Was served within 5 minutes of ordering. From a very friendly lady who ran the shop in the guest room with wit and routine. I would also like to thank you very much. The snack was voluminous and tasty, and lovingly garnished with many things. After that we couldn't eat any more, we were so full. A well-kept location in top condition. All in all, highly recommended. The next time we visit Lam, we will definitely pay this restaurant another visit with its special service. TOP.

We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews. The food was OK. The Cordon Bleu was probably very tasty, or so our son says. However, the portion was extremely small and he was still hungry afterwards. Our daughter didn't really like the cheese spaetzle, but the method of preparation is always a matter of taste. The snack for 2 was OK, nothing more and nothing less. A bit carelessly stocked and designed, the sausage and cheese were good, but the 4 baked rolls put us off a bit and the ratio wasn't right either. When I asked for an additional roll, the roll was slammed onto the table without a word. So far in Bavaria we have been spoiled with other snacks (Hacker Pschorr beer garden in Regensburg, that was picture-perfect food) The atmosphere was tense among the employees, very hectic, very taciturn, the air could be cut off. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait another 20 minutes for the bill. That was the first and unfortunately the last visit yesterday.

My partner and I wanted to extend our Bavaria vacation at short notice. After an uncomplicated phone call, we were quickly offered a room for the weekend at a good price including breakfast. The Dimpfl Stadl is beautifully located in the town of Lam, with a beautiful restaurant and the opportunity to sit outside. Our room was incredibly beautiful, tastefully decorated and clean. The breakfast was really absolutely good, there was everything your heart could desire. In the evening we enjoyed the good food with a cold beer and can only give positive feedback here. Great friendly service, delicious food, everything to our satisfaction. We would have liked to stay with you longer, unfortunately every vacation comes to an end.

Had apartment B for a week. The apartment was very clean, well furnished and spacious. There was plenty of storage space for luggage. Nothing was missing in the kitchen either. The bathroom was also completely OK. The food in the restaurant was good, plentiful and absolutely reasonable in terms of price. We had booked breakfast and enjoyed it. We didn't miss anything. The staff was very nice and accommodating. All in all a lovely week and we would love to come back. Many thanks to the Lemberger family and team.

Hello, I have been coming to the inn for many years for a short vacation with friends. We are very happy with what we experienced this New Year's Eve. As far as the guests are concerned, there are people who drop their dessert and just leave it there or take a whole loaf of bread with them and complain It's still not possible. Sehr schönes familiär geführtes Hotel mit leckerem Frühstück. Sehr gute Busanbindung fast vor der Tür. Skiverlei 5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar mit ausgezeichnetem Service. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top, ein Hotel zum wohlfühlen.

Waren hier zu Besuch beim Mittagessen, über die Unterkunft deswegen keine Bewertung. Es gab 4 verschiedene Gerichte. Jeder Einzelne war begeistert. Sehr leckeres Essen und günstige Preise. Lediglich der Beilagensalat bekommt ein wenig Kritik. Hier wollte man etwas exotisches einbringen, was nicht zum restlichen Menü passt. Einfach einen klassischen Beilagensalat mit normalem Dressing machen und es wäre perfekt 👌🏻

War vor 8 und 6 Jahren dort und nun im Okt.23 wieder. Sehr urig, gute Küche, nettes Personal. Wir waren auf der Durchreise.

Für mich eine sehr sehr gute Wahl hier genächtigt zu haben . War fast 3 Wochen hier und habe keinen einzelnen Tag bereut . Super schönes und sauberes Zimmer. Das Hotel befindet sich direkt Zentral und direkt am ruhigen Marktplatz . Zudem gi t es ein mega leckeres Frühstück. Es gibt alles was das Herz begehrt und hier wird jeder auf eine Leckere Art und Weise satt . Super Nette Gastgeber hier gibt es nix auszusetzen. Sauberkeit 1 a Top. War persönlich mit der Bahn angereist . Jeder Gast bekommt eine Gästekarte gratis mit der er kostenlos die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel nutzen kann . Ich bin ein neuer Fan dieser Gastgeber geworden und werde sicher wieder her kommen . Bitte macht weiter so und bleibt wie ihr seit . Danke 🙏

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe übers Wochenende da. Es war alles sehr schön, uns hat es gut gefallen. Service und Zimmer zur besten Zufriedenheit. Kommen gerne wieder.
