Great restaurant with its own brewery. Large selection of different beers and hearty classic dishes. For some reason, the menu was missing lentils, one of my favorite dishes that I like to try in different restaurants. Unfortunately, the advertised spelled beer was also sold out. But there were plenty of other alternatives, modern and classic. Prices are upper mid. Quality is really good. It was quite loud where we were sitting. Rather sociable and loud. Service was very nice. As a group we had to wait a little longer before we could order. After ordering, the wait was manageable. It was a nice evening all around because we had some time and were able to chat with friends in the immediate vicinity.

Quite nice but has lost some charm and I found the quality of the food to be average. The prices are quite high.

Delicious, delicious and again delicious. Went to Barfüßer for lunch today - the benches are a bit narrow so you can sit comfortably. But you forget that when the delicious food is in front of you. The food came at the same time, the portion size was right and it tasted great! Clearing up, placing another order and paying took a while, but that was understandable when you looked around the busy restaurant. We'll definitely eat at Barfüsser again.

We visit Barfüsser regularly and find the food delicious! Since Corona, the service has decreased a bit (the service takes longer to take orders, they argue in front of the customers, etc.) and the prices keep increasing, but the ambience is nice and you can reach the city in a few minutes.

Really great value for money, reservation would be an advantage, food was really great, everyone was very friendly, would love to come back.

For the second time in a row I got food poisoning from the food! The first time, two years ago, I didn't think much of it, but now I'm having the same problems again. In addition, the service was incredibly unfriendly and snippy towards my grandparents (dark-haired woman with piercing)! I understand that there can be a lot of stress, but in a service-oriented job, the appropriate tone should still be maintained! That was my last visit to this restaurant!

I went to this pub on Sunday evening with a group of colleagues and friends. The menu is rich and varied and there are dishes for every taste, including children's and vegetarian dishes. There is a wide choice of meat and side dishes and typical products from the area. Fast but a little rude service.

Unfortunately nothing special for these prices. The table and chairs are very close together. Please don't laugh, but we had problems placing our square plates at the headboard so that everyone could eat properly. Service... We had a waiter from "Cannstatter Wasen" who just wanted to get rid of his stuff quickly. The decor fits the theme. Summary, there are worse and better restaurants. We keep looking.

Reutlingen is always worth a visit. Simply beautiful for strolling, shopping and exploring. Especially Wilhelmstrasse! There's a lot to discover there.

We can highly recommend the Barfüsser in Reutlingen. We have to eat there at least once when we visit family. We have tried many things from the menu and have always been impressed. Price/performance is definitely right here. We would love to come back 🙂

After three visits conclusion: ambience very good, service very good, food average. We were particularly disappointed with the schnitzel. If you order turkey instead of pork, you get a children's schnitzel (size) which doesn't match the size of the pork schnitzel at all, at the same price. Notice given to the waitress, response: they are not the first to complain, unfortunately the turkey is much smaller. Well, you can do it that way too, but it doesn't speak for the catering industry and management. There is clearly a need for action. Knuckle with bread dumplings. Rarely have I had such a firm and unappetizing dumpling. Haxe satisfactory, on average significantly better on the Stuttgart Wasen. Kaiserschmarren very good. Fries very good. Beer is good, but not exceptional. Next time we'll try the tarte flambée, which is often praised here, let's see if it's really that good. So from my side, grade 3 for the food. There is still room for improvement.

Food was really tasty and despite being busy, the food came quickly. It's a nice atmosphere to sit in and the reservation can be made online in a relaxed manner.

Went as a very large group, and the waiters and waitresses were very patient and very friendly. Atmosphere was very good and will definitely eat there again as the food was also very tasty and we already have a lot to choose from for food. Can only recommend!

Today, September 30th, 2024, I was at the Barfüsser in Reutlingen at 7 p.m., unfortunately without a reservation. The employee at the counter was extremely rude and unhelpful. Instead of trying to find a solution in a friendly manner, he simply turned away after saying “Yeah, then just go to the bar” and talked to other guests. This behavior was completely inappropriate and unfortunately had a negative impact on the evening. That's not how you treat guests. Although there is no specific law against rudeness, as a customer I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism. The employee's unfriendly and disrespectful manner violates basic expectations of appropriate service. Every guest has the right to be greeted politely and helpfully in a restaurant and unfortunately this was not the case here. I expect the employee in question, who was at the counter at that time, to apologize to me for his rude behavior. Such treatment of guests is unacceptable and should not be ignored in order to maintain the quality of service at Barfüßer.

Es wäre gut wenn die Hauptspeise erst kommt wenn man mit der Vorspeise fertig ist. Auch sollte darauf geachtet werden ob die Gläser der ganzen Gästegruppe leer sind.

Cool food, typical of southern Germany and large portions. The service unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. There is a waitress with glasses about 40/50 years old who does not say hello or goodbye when paying, she serves you reluctantly and forced us to change tables (when we had already taken a table of two) without any explanation...

Great food and large selection. There is also a daily menu. The selection of various types of beer is also large. But my personal hit is the Almduler, which you can get here.

We were attracted from opening time until one o'clock. The offerings on the menu are quite diverse. However, it doesn't say anywhere that shortly before eleven there is only tarte flambée. It was very tasty, but still! Service staff are attentive and friendly. But people, that's not how it works with sanitary facilities! The cleaning staff are obviously completely overwhelmed by the black tiles. The floor of both men and women was disgustingly spattered, smeared and sticky. You'll want to change your shoes after your visit. This has to change, then everything will be right again.

The food is delicious and we enjoyed it. The location itself is also very nice. Especially if you can sit outside. However, I would like to point out something that, in my opinion, is not right. In Germany, as far as I know, tipping is voluntary and a question of decency. At Barfüsser, if you pay by card, you will be more or less directly asked to give a tip. Various percentage amounts are shown directly on the display of the card reader, which you can then select by simply clicking on them (including the respective amounts). Of course, you can also just “carry on” and not tip. .... but you don't do that... I find this behavior unacceptable and in a certain way outrageous. Since this topic is part of the service for me, I'm only giving it one star.

The food is okay, some fresh, some convenience products. Unfortunately, the majority of the service staff is mercilessly incompetent. There was no response to our greeting or our leaving. Unfortunately most of the employees are very rude. Still very good location and cozy beer garden feeling.

So first the positive, it was really good and warm. You can also notice that the salads, which we have always avoided, have really improved and taste really good too. So now to my suggestions, we had to wait a really long time for the food today and the problem was that 2 meals out of 4 came quite quickly and unfortunately we were almost finished with them until the side salad came at some point, which was one of them belonged to the first two and the other two. After we had to wait a long time for everyone's food, the clearing up was so quick that the last two weren't even allowed to finish without the first two plates being cleared away and even the wooden board from the person who was still eating. It's a shame, food should come at about the same time and you should be allowed to eat in peace, we want to enjoy the food and the beautiful summer evenings because it was really good.

In addition, there was a long waiting time for two drinks and if you pay you are obviously "overlooked" and we waited 20 minutes, despite hand announcements. After payment there was no farewell or anything else. Actually a great restaurant, nice decoration, delicious beer and food, but unfortunately service ruins a lot. Too bad!

Essen war gut, der Service leider weniger. Man hatte kaum Zeit zu bestellen weil die Bedienung gefühlt auf dem Sprung war und die Bestellung schon fast hinterher rufen musste. Gläser waren leer und man wurde nicht gefragt ob man noch was bekommt. Man bekam ein wenig das Gefühl, dass man stört wenn man noch was bestellen möchte, sehr schade.

The food here is very good and the interior design is very cozy with matching brewery decorations. The only thing I didn't like was the very large portions so it was very difficult to finish everything. Otherwise worth recommending. (Been here twice)

Good German food with a nice location. Good parking options next door (chargeable). Location is also suitable for larger groups of people. I can recommend it. Prices are okay.

Good value for money, German food in a good atmosphere. The waiter who served us was friendly. Only the spaetzle was a bit bland. The outside area is nice on summer evenings, but in such a big place it would be nice to have air conditioning.

Been here for the 2nd time. We (5 people) had a really great indoor space. Drinks and food were quickly brought to the table. Huge portions (actually not my thing), the children's portions would have been enough for adults. The taste of the food was average. Service tried hard, but didn't manage to clear the empty plates in a timely manner. They were still there when we left...

Convenience food at its best. It's actually almost cheeky to charge such prices for this meal. I can just as easily get a ready-made breaded frozen schnitzel from the supermarket, add ready-made spaetzle from the refrigerated section and mix a Maggi sauce. It tastes the same and is a lot cheaper. No attention was paid to you when you came in or when you left. No hello, no goodbye, the waiters prefer to talk to each other. You don't really feel welcome there. The ambience inside is quite nice, outside you sit right next to the street. You have to like it. All in all, mass processing, I don't need a second time.

As always, very tasty, both the food and the in-house beers. Portions are generous. Service was friendly and quick. Not too crowded in the evenings during the week. Reservation would have been unnecessary in this case. When the weather is nice you can sit outside, sometimes by a small stream/branch of the Echaz, although with the background noise of the main street, but still nice for being in the city center.

It's always great here - inside the restaurant or outside in the beer garden. Lots of choice - everyone can find something delicious to eat here. Lavish portions will definitely fill you up👍🏻 The beers from the home brewery are also highly recommended.

It's solid, but still: - the large Brauhausschnitzel in pork is large, or I even mean 2 decent lobes. There is also a turkey version, which is what we used. A mini 150 gr schnitzel arrived. Priced the same, around €19, there was no notice from the waitress. When asked, they also said that it fits. In my opinion: children's portion served. It's nonsense! - for dumplings with mushroom cream sauce: one dumpling, medium-sized, with the salad: pure lettuce, hardly any dressing. It's also significantly too lean for the price. Very mediocre, so probably not again.

Unfortunately a huge disappointment. Admittedly, the outdoor area was full last Thursday. First I was handed a used glass with my non-alcoholic shandy, then my schnitzel came not with - but on - potato salad. The salad was piping hot and there was a note between the schnitzel and the salad! This was no longer excusable - the service staff justified it with the workload. All in all, unfortunately a disaster!

Es ist solide, aber dennoch: - das große Brauhausschnitzel in Schwein ist groß, bzw sind sogar meine ich 2 ordentlich Lappen. Es gibt es auch als Puten Variante, das haben wir genommen. Es kam ein Mini 150 gr Schnitzel. Preislich gleich, um die 19€, Hinweis der Bedienung dazu gab es keinen. Is Quatsch! - beim Knödel mit Plizrahmsauce: ein Knödel, mittelgroß, dazu der Salat: reine Pflücksalate, kaum Dressing. Is auch auch deutlich zu mager für den Preis. Arges mittelmaß, daher eher nicht wieder.

It's just not enough. <<<<< Unfortunately the rating needs to be changed from four to three. The service has weaknesses and even total failure. Just always visits where you have to call service. Not attentive. Sometimes you are completely forgotten and look for the person responsible. Last time it was a complete failure with completely disgraceful service. Deliberately ignored for 10 minutes. Pedagogically ignored for the time, only to then say that you probably don't have time... But the food is good. It is cozy, especially in summer. It is the only real beer garden. That's why we're still there often.

Table 903 at the back door. Two adults sit here and eat, everyone drinks a beer, after the meal you drink an espresso, specifically asked for!!!! Then it's over, no one asks anymore if they want anything else, and that from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.!!!!!. ALTHOUGH all the staff smokers walk past the table to smoke a cigarette during working hours. Thank you,....never again!!!!!

War von allen meinen Besuchen der übelste: - falsches Wasser gebracht (Sprudel statt Still) - Nur ein Glas anstatt zwei wie bestellt - im Glas fand sich dann ein Salatblatt - bestellte Soße wurde komplett vergessen - mussten 15 Minuten auf das Bezahlen warten. Hab auch schon in der Gastro gearbeitet, aber das war mehr als unterirdisch !!!

There are enough parking spaces for a fee in the parking garage opposite and at the market hall. Payment possible by card or cash. Staff very friendly and attentive. Good home-style food and our own beers from the home brewery. Big portion. Despite the fact that it was relatively full, everything went very quickly. Lots of meatless dishes. Reservation makes sense. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors under trees on beer benches as well as lounge and garden furniture.

Very tasty food and super friendly staff.

There were 4 of us eating today and unfortunately we weren't happy with the food. Some of the vegetables had brown spots or were not peeled properly. The salad was not dressed and had leaves with brown spots in places. (I work in the catering industry myself) The waitress wasn't interested in hearing that our food wasn't good.

Der Service war unaufmerksam und extrem langsam, obwohl das Restaurant nicht gut besucht war. Auch eine gewisse Unlust war zu spüren. Man vergaß die bestellten Getränke zu bringen, dass Eis war schon geschmolzen als es an den Tisch kam. Für den Service überteuert. Es gibt bestimmt gleichwertige Restaurants mit besserem und motiviertem Service. Ganz klar das es hierfür kein Trinkgeld gab. P.s. die Servicekraft wusste noch nicht einmal was ein Malzbier ist.

Auch sehr kurzfristig gelang es uns zu dritt wieder einen netten Tisch bekommen zu haben. Das Essen war sehr gut wie immer und eine sehr große Portion. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und wir kommen gerne wieder.
