When it comes to currywurst, I expect an Oberländer (Naggada). Red sausage was okay too, but the sauce tasted like Indian curry. Not what I expect from a currywurst!! Wheat was good, poured like on TV

We just had coffee and water here. I think €3.90 for a self-service coffee that you have to prepare yourself (fully automatic) is a bit much. The staff in the restaurant were disinterested and not friendly. I can't rate the food. Nice location in itself.

We took a break here and used the time to leave. There are great seating areas with umbrellas inside and outside. The food is well prepared and tastes great.

We ate there today and unfortunately were very disappointed. The food didn't taste good at all and the staff was unfriendly. We can't recommend it more. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all.

Went there after a nice day at the playground. Eating at the playground wasn't really anything special, that's why we went To the bear trap. I thought it was great that the spaetzle was freshly sliced ​​into the water in front of the guests. Then you really see homemade. Sausage salad was also very tasty. Kaiserschmarren was ok, I had better ones on the mountains that were fluffier but it was absolutely ok. Self service no table service. Coffee was good too. There will be cake next time. Very nice to see that organic and locally sourced meat is used.

Very rustic atmosphere and really friendly staff here. We were here in the late afternoon and despite the great weather there was still something free outside and we didn't have to wait in line at the buffet for a significant amount of time. The portions are OK. Only the schnitzel was a bit mixed and unfortunately not beaten at all.

We sat down at a (unreserved!) table, ate, and our toddler fell asleep in the meantime. Suddenly a very rude employee came and told us to clear the table immediately. You would need the space, which was originally reserved. In principle no problem, we just wanted to drink our drink (the last sip) for a moment. After less than 30 seconds he continued to shout that we should leave immediately and hurry up. VERY RUDE AND IMPOSSIBLE. Of course, our toddler woke up very rudely. NO GO.

In itself a really nice place and very good location. Unfortunately the kitchen was already closed earlier than expected... so there was no way to get something warm. The only thing there was steamed dumplings with a vanilla sauce made from the morning, skin on sauce, lumpy... there wasn't even a discount for that... it's a shame... this is definitely a very good place to relax and unwind You can enjoy the food there, but unfortunately this impression was negative.

Apple strudel wasn't good and there was a fatty flocculated vanilla sauce...Unfortunately, the latte macchiato also tasted a bit rancid. A pity!

Great with the cable car up and enjoyed a delicious Kaiserschmarrn there. Staff in a good mood and friendly.

Very nice rustic self-service cabin. Just had a drink as the kitchen closes at 5pm. The food seems to be very high quality and of good quality (regional and some organic).

You are on vacation. You pay for the offer, the location and anyway for everything if you are not prepared to use your feet. For food: Obatzda and potato salad were unfortunately not to my taste and too much for the one slice of bread with a pretzel. But overall quite nice. The Allgäu herbal lemonade was very tasty. But if you want to eat an authentic snack, go to the individual Alps in the mountains. E.g. with the Hornbahn to the Horn-Alp.

The atmosphere is very pleasant. Unfortunately, you notice that the catering is more geared towards tourism. The food is rather average. You can eat it, but it won't blow us away. So if you want to eat very good Kaiserschmarrn or Kässpatzn, this is not the right place for you in my opinion. For a simple snack it's fine.

Beautiful mountain hut. Surprisingly good food, nice atmosphere. Easily accessible by chairlift for people with less sporting ambitions. Good starting point for other activities.

A great destination for a day trip with children! First run up the mountain. Then enjoy a reward beer and spaetzle in the Bärenfalle mountain hut. The children are playing in the playground. Finally, take the toboggan run back to the parking lot.

Very pleasant atmosphere... nicely located... good simple food... moderate prices

Very nice and attractive environment, service in the self-service area ok (like in a canteen) otherwise no service, food (we had schnitzel with potato salad and currywurst with fries) bad, fries gnarly and hard, currywurst cold and ready-made potato salad. Eating is really no fun. In this great environment you should make more of it.

The food here was delicious and freshly prepared right after ordering. I was lucky and got the last Kaiserschmarrn before the sales deadline and I have to admit that it was one of the best Kaiserschmarrn I have eaten so far. We actually wanted to take the Alpsee Coaster back down, but the queue was 3 hours at that point, so we took the train back down.

Great value for money! The food is prepared freshly. No ready meals. You see something like that far too rarely. For 3 main courses and a cappuccino we came to €26. Gladly again

I feel sorry for the service staff. There simply has to be more at peak times. Beer and sausage prices, like everywhere else in the Allgäu, are too high.

We hiked up the mountain for a good 1.5 hours and were looking forward to the Käsespatzen. We were specifically informed that it was open, only to find ourselves standing in front of the doors being locked. Very very disappointed!

Delicious food at a completely acceptable price, we were lucky enough to get a seat when it started to rain and as a family of 4 we were absolutely satisfied.

We can really recommend the cheese spaetzle from the Bärenfalle mountain hut. The spaetzle was freshly prepared. The ratio of cheese and spaetzle was very harmonious. Unfortunately, due to its self-service concept, this hut looks like a canteen, but the flair and personal touch that characterizes many Allgäu huts is lost.

I've been here several times to eat (take a break) and it's always been super good!!

Haben bei bestem Winterwetter und einem heißen Jagertee die Sonne und die Aussicht genossen und dann ging's mit dem Rodel durch den tief verschneiten Wald wieder abwärts.

Wir waren nur dort für ein oder zwei halbe . Gegessen haben wir nicht aber die Karte hörte sich gut an .Daher kann ich nichts sagen . Service, alles SB . Aber die Angestellten die dort sind sind nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder, dann wird auch gegessen.

Sehr empfehlenswert sind die Spätzle.

Soweit gut. Service gibt es leider keinen. Selbstbedienung. Finger weg vom Gulasch. Extrem schlechter Gulasch, hatte was von Dosenware. War dafür total überteuert.

Wir waren hier bei wunderschönem Oktoberwetter ☀️ Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für ein „Bergrestaurant“ wirklich gut. Auf das Essen mussten wir zwar etwas warten, das lag aber zeitlich noch im Rahmen. Und in Eile ist man hier oben auf dem Berg eher nicht. Wir können die Bärenfalle weiterempfehlen.

Mir gefällt das Ambiente. Die Speisen sehen lecker aus. Mitunter muss man zur Mittagsszeit lange fürs Essen anstehen. Wer nur Getränke möchte, kommt schneller zum Zug.

Restaurant direkt an der Bergstation und in der Nähe der zahlreichen Attraktionen der Alpsee Bergwelt. Essen ist erstaunlich gut für eine so stark frequentierte Hütte - Selbstbedienung klappt ganz ok - Ambiente sosolala - sehr übeflaufen

Eine std anstehen fürs Essen. Kösespätzle waren zwar ganz gut aber nochmal würd ich mich nicht dafür so lange anstellen.

Nette Hütte, gutes Essen und freundliche Küchencrew. Das Personal an der Kasse/Zapfhahn wirkte eher genervt und gestresst, dabei waren wir unter der Woche hier als die Hütte relativ leer war.

Sehr leckeres und frisches Essen. Die Kässpätzle werden frisch vor den Augen der Gäste gehobelt und zubereitet. Wenn viel los ist, muss man z.T deshalb aber auch lange anstehen... :( Es gibt eine große Auswahl und die Preise sind noch ganz in Ordnung. Schöne, urige Atmosphäre in der Hütte, sowie draußen. Es gibt ausreichend Sitzplätze.

Ambiente schön. Suppe war leider sehr versalzt und Kaiserschmarrn fettig. Allerdings ein kulantes (Suppe wurde zurückgenommen) und freundliches Team, wobei die Deutschkenntnisse auch etwas schwierig waren. Leider nur 2 Sterne

Die Käsespätzle waren lecker und frisch vor der Nase geschabt und zubereitet, der Apfelstrudel hätte säuerlicher sein, beim kaiserschmarrn haben Rosinen, Mandeln und die karamellisierte Kruste gefehlt. Außerdem gibt es hier leider absolut keine frischen Produkte wie Salat zu den käsespätzle. Selbstbedienung. Aussicht aber schön.

Beste Zutaten auf einer Hütte, die von vielen Menschen aufgesucht wird, weil sie so leicht zu erreichen ist. Und weil rundherum Familien Abwechslung finden.

Essen war ok, ziemlich teuer. Service ist selbstbedienung das Ambiente ist Top.
