Bärenfalle in Immenstadt i.Allgäu

Ich war dort mit mir ein Arbeitskollegen zum Team Event. Da das Wetter recht schlecht war, blieben wir doch länger als erwartet im Lokal. Wunderschön gemacht mit viel Naturholz und alles sauber und sehr gepflegt. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Speisen und Anti alkoholische Getränke sind als Selbstbedienung und die alkoholischen bekommt man ein geschenkt. Für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt wunderbar.

Kaffe ok, aber der Kaiserschmarrn ist ne Katastrophe. Schwimmt im Fett und ist super dünn. Eventuell die Pfanne zu kalt?

Wir waren zu Gast auf der Alpsee Bergwelt. Zum Essen waren wir in der Bärenfalle,dazu muss man sagen das sehr viele Gäste halbvolle Teller zurückgegeben haben. Was wir dann auch mussten , der Wurstsalat -ein Haufen Wurst und sonst nicht mehr viel,die Currywurst -Sauce- Pommes- mmmhhh fast ungenießbar. Der Teller Pommes fürs Kind war rot überzogen mit Paprikapulver ungenießbar. Also das Essen eine Zumutung gerade bei solchen Preisen!!!!Absolut keine Weiterempfehlung.

Das Essen war sehr teuer und schon mal viel besser . Das Ambiente ist wunderschön, ein Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen.

Relativ teuer für das, was man bekommt. Ist ein klassisches Touristenrestaurant mit hohen Preisen.

Über den Service kann ich nichts sagen da hier Selbstbedienung angesagt ist. Die Currysauce ist selbstgemacht (wässrige Tomatensauce mit Curry?). Nachhaltig wird hier abgelaufenes 0,33L Radler noch für günstige 2,25 € verkauft. Küche und WC sind sauber und der Ausblick wundervoll.

Was für eine Enttäuschung, aber die Lage ist schön.

Currywurst war lauwarm und nicht rösch, Pommes waren holzig und die Currysoße war nichts besonderes. Wir haben die Hälfte liegen gelassen

Also die Kulisse ist wunderschön, aber die Karte ist super begrenzt und teuer (es gibt auch keine veganen Gerichte). Insgesamt gibt es 14 Gerichte. Die Getränke sind auch super teuer. Ein halber Liter Cola kostet 4,80€. Es wird mit hoher Qualität geworben, aber über 10 Leute konnten mir schildern, dass es super standardmäßig schmeckt und teilweise ekelhaft. Neben der Eingangstür steht "Unser Anspruch: regional & nachhaltig genießen". Ein Freund hat über 20€!!!!! für eine KLEINE Schüssel Käsespätzle mit Getränk bezahlt und er sowie seine anderen 3 Tischnachbarn fanden es ekelhaft. Vor allem für den Preis eine Frechheit. Außerdem wurde ein Schulmädchen mit einer unfreundlichen Geste von einem Mitarbeiter darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass die Toiletten quasi neben ihr sind, als sie diesen Mitarbeiter nach den Toiletten fragte. Insgesamt ein schöner Ort zum Sitzen, aber nicht zum Essen. UNFASSBAR überteuert und die Qualität und Geschmack ist mittel bis schlecht.

Ich befürchtete schlimmes, als ich auf einer MTB-Tour das hiesige "Disneyland" mit Coaster, Hochseilgarten und "Fantenspaß" (Kinderbereich) erblickte...ich kenne diese Alpe noch als urige solche aus meiner Kindheit. Mittlerweile ist es ein SB-Restaurant, wie man es aus Skigebieten kennt. Das Ambiente ist eher auf Masse ausgelegt. Etwas suboptimal ist, dass sich die Menschen, die sich im SB-Bereich versorgt haben, an den dort noch wartenden Menschen vorbeiquetschen müssen, wenn sie wieder nach draussen wollen. Die Wartezeit war (es war aber auch Maifeiertag) recht lang, über eine halbe Stunde. Aber die angebotenen Speisen waren es wert: Kässpätzle, Germknödel, Kaiserschmarrn, hier wird alles vor den Augen des Gastes frisch zubereitet. Hochwertige regionale Zutaten. Das war eine positive Überraschung in einem SB-Restaurant an Massenstandort. Preise absolut fair.

Waren in der Bärenfalle in Verbindung mit der Sommerrodelbahn. Wie hatten einen sehr leckeren Kaiserschmarrn und Germknödel. Riesengroße Portion. Das Personal in der Küche war trotz viel Betrieb sehr angenehm und freundlich, außer eine ältere Dame am Ausschank. Sie hat einen sehr gestressten Eindruck gemacht. Es ist zwar etwas umständlich sein Essen zu holen wegen dem begrenzten Platz(ist Selbstbedienung) aber trotzdem einen Besuch wert.

Kommerztempel, so auch die Preise. Eine Berghütte ist das nicht, sondern ein Restaurantbetrieb der Umsatz GmbH. Wir haben gerne verzichtet bei diesen Mondpreisen…

Hatten überlegt hier was zu essen. Leider alles sehr teuer und das mit Selbstbedienung!

Eine Besichtigung und ein Essen welches sich nach dem Aufstieg lohnt. Im Übrigen kann man auf den Berg für sportliche Menschen nutzen 😅👍

Ich bzw wir waren ehrlich gesagt entsetzt. Die Bärenfalle war früher ein kleiner, war früher ein kleiner, heimeliger Geheimtipp – besonders für Kässpatzen, lange bevor der Alpsee-Coaster alles touristisch aufgezogen hat. Ich war über Jahre immer wieder dort. Das hat mit heute nichts mehr zu tun. Die Suppe war für mich der erste negative Eindruck: Die Flädle wirkten nicht frisch, wie zu lange im Kühlschrank gelagert, und geschmacklich war irgendetwas einfach nicht in Ordnung. Ob sie gekippt war oder nicht, kann ich nicht sagen aber sie war nicht gut. Und das sage ich als absoluter Suppen Junkie: Ich esse überall und immer Suppe, zu jedem Gericht, ich liebe Suppe und kenn hier im Umkreis glaub ich mittlerweile jede Flädlesuppe. 😂 Unnd ich koche selbst natüerlich sehr viel Allgäuer Küche und klar Suppen. :) So eine schlechte Suppe habe ich noch nie gegessen. Ich habe 16,90 € für einen Kaiserschmarrn bezahlt – und als Allgäuerin, die viel auf Hütten unterwegs ist und selbst Kaiserschmarrn macht, sage ich klar: Der war schlicht schlecht und völligst übereuert. Überzuckert, der Zucker war regelrecht krustig am Teig angepappt, geschmacklich unausgewogen und einfach unangenehm. Ich hab ihn nicht runter bringen können. Dazu viel zu wenig Apfelmus. Die extra bestellte Vanillesauce war wässrig und geschmacklos , so etwas habe ich ehrlich gesagt noch nie serviert bekommen. Vanille war das nicht, (ich mach Eis und Soßen für Apfelstrudel etc selbst, ich weiß wie es schmecken sollt) Auch die Getränke waren enttäuschend: Kaffee: dünn, wässrig Kakao: ebenfalls ohne Substanz Das einzige, was noch halbwegs okay war, waren die Kässpatzen aber auch die waren früher deutlich besser. Ich verstehe die vielen sehr guten Touristen-Rezensionen ehrlich gesagt nicht. Das ist Massenabfertigung , Kantinenflair und richtig teuer. Für mich wirkt das Ganze inzwischen wie touristische Abfertigung zu überhöhten Preisen, nicht wie echte Allgäuer Küche. Und es war so unsauber. Die Tische, die Karten waren voller Fettflecke, überall Fingerdapperl. Liegt auch an den Leuten meine Kinder dürfen nicht alles anfassen , mit dreckigen Händen schon gar nicht und was hat es eigentlich damit auf sich das Kinder mit Schuhen über Bänke und Stühle laufen oder Tische klettern? No go. Für Einheimische oder Leute mit Anspruch an regionale Küche keine Empfehlung mehr. Für 2 Personen, ich und Kind (9 Jahre) bestellten wir einmal Kässpatzen, einmal Kaiserschmarrn Vanillesoße, Apfelmus, Skiwasser, einen Latte Machiato , einen Kaffee , ein Kakao und haben bezahlt 56,70 Euro. Kassenzettel hab ich noch.

Very tasty Bavarian sausage salad. I found the price very reasonable.

Despite the changeable weather, the ride up, the two hours in the hut and the later descent on the coaster were all very nice:) There was something for everyone, big and small.

The spaetzle are made fresh right in front of your eyes: the dough is poured directly into the pan using a pusher. It couldn't be fresher! Overall, delicious and very appropriate for the location!

I've rarely eaten so well in the self-service/ski-lodge system. You do have to wait in line, yes, but it goes quickly, and you can watch the spaetzle being freshly grated in the kitchen. The Augustiner beer on tap is also top-notch. We'll definitely be back.

You can get there on foot (very strenuous) or by chairlift; the food is plentiful and really good. You can go down either on the coaster—a very long (summer) toboggan run, also on foot—or by chairlift. Great views—highly recommended.

There's plenty of seating on the terrace and in the hut, but you have to serve yourself. The food is delicious, especially the Kaiserschmarrn!

Disgusting, overpriced, self-service and an eternity of waiting.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good. Kaiserschmarren, while fresh, was sometimes very black, making it inedible. At €13, some of it was really too expensive. Goulash soup, €9, was unfortunately bland in flavor, and you had to hunt for the meat and potatoes... We won't be eating again. We wouldn't recommend it. We're not picky, but for that price, you want something decent, sorry...

Relaxed self-service hut with a view and good food.

Beautiful, large self-service beer garden. The food is freshly prepared, some with organic ingredients, and we enjoyed it very much. Prices are a bit high, but the quality is good. The restrooms are very tidy.

We were there after we walked up. It was very quiet, but it still took a long time for us to get our food. The food itself was very tasty and the portions were large. Service was very friendly. The ambiance was just right.

We stopped here for lunch with a small group. A beautifully furnished mountain hut, a good restaurant with a wonderful view and excellent food. The playground ensures that even the kids won't get bored.

Definitely not recommended for dinner. The fries weren't fully cooked. Average schnitzel in the Netherlands tastes better, and the obazda was definitely not fresh, as was the bread that came with it. Ordering beer went smoothly and tasted just as it should. So, for a break and a drink, it's perfectly fine. For a bite to eat, I'd skip it.

A very nice and good restaurant up here. The kids loved it.

Nicely decorated inside, with a large beer garden outside. The staff is very friendly. The prices are among the cheapest we've seen in the Allgäu region. The quality of the food is very good, with lots of organic and vegan options. Everything is freshly prepared.

The food was excellent and the portions were generous. We felt very comfortable and will be back.

No need to tell you how much a good warm food can be helpful in this weather.we took the goulash soup and something like Hungarian pasta, good choice for 10 degrees outside

There's simply nothing to say about the Käsespätzle here, except - thank you! They're made fresh with every order and served in a really cool wooden bowl. Perfect spaetzle, delicious cheese, and a really good portion of fried onions. And the view is free. If you walk up the mountain like we did.

Beautiful hut with a pleasant atmosphere. Well organized, even during peak times. A small but fine selection of food. Great location with a playground next door and, of course, a fantastic view.

We stopped here for lunch during our hike. There were plenty of free seats. The food (Kässpatzn and Kaiserschmarrn) was freshly prepared. Even the spaetzle were freshly grated. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The outdoor terrace had a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, it was self-service. The toboggan run was great; the wait was about 30 minutes.

The coffee and cake were okay—the coffee was rather poor, but the cake was rather better. Relatively expensive—but that's the case everywhere these days... Nice ambiance, very clean and well-maintained. Perfect for children, as next to the hut there's also a climbing park, a huge playground (admission costs separately), and animals (goats, alpacas). Of course, the summer toboggan run is a must-see.

Be sure to order cheese spaetzle, they taste fantastic :)

COZY AND QUARTERLY :: VERY TASTY FOOD AND NOT AT ALL EXPENSIVE We came here from Kempten and were really pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.

The self-service approach gives you a cafeteria feel. The tables weren't clean, and the floor was dirty, even though only four tables were occupied. The food was super fresh and delicious.

I had the best Kaiserschmarrn of my life here.

After an hour of walking, we ate wonderful food and yachtsmen.

The goulash soup, elderflower spritzer, and coffee were mediocre, but the cheese spaetzle and Kaiserschmarrn were very good. Self-service. Annoying Alpine music. Card payments accepted. No ice cubes, but they offer Aperol Spritz...tsss

The restaurant can be improved in several ways. The food is far from perfect, completely self-service, which is not suitable for such a place and the drinks are sold at above-average prices. However, the atmosphere is pleasant.

Buffet style restaurant. Hot meals are prepared to order. The Kaiserschmarrn is delicious, rarely had such delicious Kaiserschmarrn.

Had nice weather and actually managed to get a spot. Ate Kaiserschmarrn and Kässpatzen. Everything is freshly prepared, so it can take a while, but it was delicious. It was really worth it. But we canceled the toboggan ride. Was about 1.5 hours waiting time.

The currywurst sauce was many things, but had absolutely nothing to do with curry or currywurst sauce. This was a tasteless tomato sauce on a lukewarm sausage. The herbal lemonade and blackcurrant juice spritzer were also quite thin and had little taste. Unfortunately very disappointing. At least the prices are okay, hence 2 stars

If it weren't for that annoying après ski music, you could stay there longer.

Nice cabin! Delicious food. Decent portions. Fair prices. Nice, rustic music is playing outside. Kaiserschmarren and apple strudel were really tasty. Gladly again.

Great recommendation if you want to spend a great day in the mountains and need a cozy meal in between. The Kässpätzle are spicy and delicious!

I really liked it, from the food to the ambience

Really chic inside, good average outside, food and drink ok, but not a highlight. Service staff are usually friendly and experienced. Prices typical for mountain huts = moderately overpriced For a hut that wants to handle masses, everything is fine. Entire area clean and well maintained. Highlight: Sanitary facilities are extremely well maintained and very tastefully decorated.

Nice management. SB - everything goes quickly, prices are ok too. Portion size is appropriate. Everything outside was clean and there was plenty of seating.

Were there on a rainy day. It was nice to come into a warm room. People are friendly. I ordered fries with chicken wings and it came quickly and was a good portion. The fries and wings were really good. I also particularly liked the fact that there was a lot of mayo and ketchup included at no extra charge. Only recommended. The rice pudding was very tasty. Service was very friendly.

wow - what a great hut, it's a MUST, you should have been there!

Nice cozy and rustic atmosphere, inside and out. We were lucky with the weather and sat outside with a view of the alpacas ☺️ We ordered the cheese spaetzle and a medium salad for two people. The cheese spaetzle is freshly scraped and you can really taste the mountain cheese - which we personally really liked. The salad was fresh, colorful and with a very nice dressing. Both plentiful and highly recommended. The price is really good for the size of the portions and the quality. Next time we'll order the Kaiserschmarrn (it looked delicious at the table next door).

So you can only say one thing about the food and ambience: perfect! Unfortunately I can't say the same about the organization. Confusion when serving! Apparently only outside but suddenly inside too. Leads to chaos and creates unrest. Can be done better. It's not a criticism, just a recommendation. 😃

Absolutely the best place to eat a Kaiserschmarrn or drink a cozy beer. I often ride my bike here. Either from Immenstadt directly via the Steigbachtal or along the Alpsee and directly from the Alpseecoaster parking lot. Every visit so far has been worth it. By the way, the Kaiserschmarrn is world class!! But also the Kässpatzen, Schnitzel, etc. There is often live music up here on the weekends. The staff at the checkout and food distribution are “friendly and nice” - as I said, I like coming here. Even as a local!!

5 stars are definitely not enough for the ambience. Self-service restaurant. Delicious apple strudel, delicious cheese spaetzle. I've eaten the Kaiserschmarrn better.

A chairlift ride to the mountain hut or a hike is a lot of fun, very good hospitality, great adventure playground for children, recommended

When we visited the bear trap, we didn't expect that the food would actually be so good. That's it - large selection with excellent taste. In addition, the staff is super friendly and there is very nice seating in front of the house, especially when the weather is nice

A big bonus point just because of the option to pay by card! The food tastes really good, the Kässpätzle are really great and you are always greeted in a friendly manner. A great playground for the children within sight, what more could you want.

More than rude when taking orders in the kitchen. You should be ashamed of yourself! That's not how you treat guests!

When it comes to currywurst, I expect an Oberländer (Naggada). Red sausage was okay too, but the sauce tasted like Indian curry. Not what I expect from a currywurst!! Wheat was good, poured like on TV

We just had coffee and water here. I think €3.90 for a self-service coffee that you have to prepare yourself (fully automatic) is a bit much. The staff in the restaurant were disinterested and not friendly. I can't rate the food. Nice location in itself.

Lovely place but when stopping to eat something the wasps are quite aggressive I recommend bringing a body spray to prevent them from coming as much

We took a break here and used the time to leave. There are great seating areas with umbrellas inside and outside. The food is well prepared and tastes great.
