Anfangs war alles super. Schöner Empfang. Getränke falscher Wein geliefert aber kann man drüber weg sehen..passiert nun mal.. Essen war super. Aber dann bei der Rechnung gab es dann ne Enttäuschung. Wir sind nun nicht geizig. Eine von uns hat selber in der Gastronomie gearbeitet. Aber wenn dann der Kellner ankommt und sagt das mind. 20 Euro oder wir brauchen gar keins geben...dann is bei mir vorbei. Wir haben dann trotzdem - für uns angemessen - etwas gegeben. Also das geht gar nicht.. und dann noch in die Küche laufen und lautstark rum mosern fas jeder es hört. Sorry da wars vorbei🤬

Eine wirklich tolle kleine Tapas Bar. Gehen auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein, der Service ist überwältigend und die Speisen schmecken sehr gut. Wir kommen gern wieder

Wir haben diese wundervolle Tapasbar rein zufällig entdeckt. Wir waren zum Fussball in Berlin und nach einem sehr anstrengenden Tag müde und hungrig. Ein Kleinod mit tollem Ambiente, mega lieben Personal und barrierefreiem Eingang. Das WC wäre für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet, hat nur keine Griffe und ist somit nur eingeschränkt barrierefrei. Wir haben uns durch die Tappas gefuttert. Allesamt ein Gedicht. Ich habe einen sehr süffigen Rotwein getrunken, der kein Kopfweh nach sich gezogen hat. Es war ein rundum gelungener Abschluss des Tages, man kam sich aufgrund der Musik, der Gestaltung und dem herzlichen Personal vor als tauche man direkt in den Urlaub ein. Vielen Dank für die Auszeit

Fantastische Entdeckung! Der erste Kontakt war dank unserer tollen Kellnerin Adinda super 👍🏻. Das Essen war köstlich und reichlich. Der Service des gesamten Teams war exzellent. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.

Freundlicher Service, prima Essen. Aber die Preise der Online- Speisekarte sollten dringend der Realität angepasst werden: Der Wolfsbarsch z.B. kostet rund 7 EUR mehr als erwartet, das sorgt für kalte Überraschung, insbesondere, wenn mir beim Empfang mitgeteilt wird, dass Kartenzahlung gerade nicht möglich ist. So musste das Trinkgeld drastisch eingekürzt werden.

Supernette (männliche) Bedienung. Wir waren an zwei Abenden dort. Leckerer Wein (Empfehlung der Bedienung). Ausgezeichnete Tapas. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Ein nettes kleines Tapas-Lokal direkt an der U-Bahn-Station Checkpoint Charlie. Der Service war super – die Mitarbeiter überaus freundlich. Das Essen war hervorragend!

Wir waren an einem Donnerstag Mitte Februar abends zu dritt dort essen. Herrliche Tapas und eine aufmerksame, freundliche und humorvolle Bedienung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen. Gleich nach unserer Ankunft bestellten wir Getränke und eine Vorspeise. Als wir mit dem Essen fertig waren, wollten wir Paella bestellen, aber die Küche war bereits geschlossen. Es war 21:15 Uhr, und der Koch konnte nicht mehr kochen. Der Kellner hatte uns nichts davon gesagt. Ein Geburtstagsessen, das gar nicht erst begonnen hatte.

Hier wurden wir richtig nett empfangen und haben einen wunderbaren Abend gehabt. Großartiges Essen, eine reichhaltige Auswahl, wahnsinnig toller Service mit Leib und Seele und dazu ein Herz für Tiere (wir durften unsere Hündin mit reinnehmen). Eine absolute Empfehlung. Beim nächsten Besuch in Berlin kommen wir gern wieder.

Das Barcelona in der Friedrichstraße ist für mich eines der besten spanischen Restaurants in Berlin-Mitte. Authentische Küche, großartige Qualität und eine Atmosphäre, die sofort Urlaubsgefühl auslöst. Die Tapas sind auf den Punkt, die Weinauswahl stark und der Service aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ein besonderes Lob geht an Tobias ,professionell, herzlich und mit einem Gespür dafür, was Gäste wirklich brauchen. So macht Gastronomie Spaß. Klare Empfehlung.

Das waren ehrlich gesagt die besten Tapas, die ich je gegessen habe. Hervorragendes Essen, leckere Getränke und freundliches Personal. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ausgezeichnete Paella und schönes Lokal

Ein echtes Stück Spanien mitten in Berlin! 🇪🇸 Ich habe selten so authentisch und geschmackvoll spanisch gegessen wie hier – *definitiv das beste Tapas-Restaurant in Berlin*! Die *Paella war hervorragend*, aber das absolute Highlight waren für mich die *Chipirones* – zart, frisch und einfach himmlisch. So gut habe ich sie selbst in Spanien kaum gegessen. Auch die *Tortilla war ein Gedicht* – saftig, perfekt gewürzt und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Das *Personal ist unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und professionell* – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und rundum wohl. Ein großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team – hier stimmt einfach alles: Atmosphäre, Service und vor allem das Essen. Ich komme garantiert wieder!

We celebrated my girlfriend's 20th birthday there. It was a lovely evening; the owner was very friendly and accommodating. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. My girlfriend even got a birthday song! 🙂 All in all, a wonderful evening; we would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent. My entrecote was cooked medium-rare, just as requested, with lovely grilled flavors. The sangria was freshly made with lots of fruit. The brandy served in a snifter with a hot water glass underneath was a brilliant idea. The stuffed turkey breast was also very good. I've had much better solo coffees, but I'm not deducting any points for that. We'd gladly come again. We were there again on November 20, 2025. The sangria was still fantastic. The mixed tapas for two were simply delicious. The prices were quite reasonable for Berlin Mitte. We'll be back.

A fantastic restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. It was our first time there, and we were treated like regulars. Thank you! The food was delicious and plentiful, both the tapas and the paella negra were a real treat. The recommended "dessert platter for two" was the perfect ending to our meal. Despite its location, it's definitely not a tourist trap, but a place we highly recommend and will be returning to soon. Five out of five stars.

December 8, 2025 We had a fantastic meal – the paella is highly recommended! Near Checkpoint Charlie – we were a little worried that it would be crowded with tourists and the quality would be so-so. Quite the opposite was true!!! Service, food, atmosphere, and location were all top-notch. There were three of us, and we were all thrilled!

A fantastic restaurant very close to Checkpoint Charlie! The food is lovingly prepared and tastes delicious, the interior is very cozy with attention to detail, and the owners and staff clearly enjoy their work—that's a rare find! We highly recommend this lovely and excellent restaurant and will definitely return on our next visit!

We had a really lovely table by the window and were served immediately. We ordered a selection of tapas and a few drinks and didn't have to wait long at all. The food was absolutely delicious. Our favorites were the albondigas, the mushrooms, and the cabbage cheese. The service was exceptionally friendly, personal, and attentive. We felt very comfortable. We definitely want to come back.

Our visit was a culinary experience of the utmost delight... we ordered various tapas, and they were all delicious and of the highest quality. The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. The decor is very stylish, and the atmosphere cozy. In addition to the food, the wine was also very good; an exquisite brandy (indirectly flambéed) to finish was the highlight. A place to feel good and enjoy... and all at a fair price! What a wonderful evening with friends. A very warm and uncomplicated welcome from the owner. Superb, very attentive service. Great wine selection at reasonable prices. Huge tapas selection—the various tapas platters are highly recommended, including vegetarian options. The Iberico ham was fantastic. The homemade croquettes, both with and without meat, are highly recommended. We'll be back on our next visit to Berlin.

A restaurant that I enjoy visiting often.

Good tapas, good service, recommended.

Loved Germany, but we are not fans of sausages. After more than a week of French fries and beer (I’m not usually a beer fan, but it was pretty great during Oktoberfest), I craved something more. I found this restaurant located just a few blocks from our hotel, and could see online that they were open late and had reservations available. We walked in and asked to be seated. We were seated in the very front of the restaurant with 4-5 other tables. It felt like a very intimate dining room. We asked (the manager? the owner?) for advice on which paella to order. He recommended the one with chicken and seafood. We then asked for advice on a compatible Spanish white. We went with his recommendations for both, added a garlic mushroom appetizer, and had the most amazing meal. The hospitality was wonderful. The paella was better than we had in Barcelona a year ago, and way WAY better than we recently had here in San Diego. The wine was perfect with it, and it was the best food we’d had in Berlin. Highly recommend.

I recently visited Barcelona Tapas Bar & Restaurant and had a wonderful evening. The tapas were varied and authentically prepared—I was particularly impressed by the Gambas al Ajillo and the Patatas Bravas. There was also a lovely wine and cava selection that perfectly complemented the small plates. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was lively and cozy—ideal for an evening with friends or a relaxed dinner for two.

Taste basic, rice not cooked well. I really wanted Spanish food, but I was a little disappointed.

The restaurant welcomes guests with a pleasant ambiance. The service is courteous and competent. There was a slight mix-up with our order, however. This was eventually compensated for with an espresso. Overall, the food (tapas and zander) was good, but not particularly spicy. Unfortunately, the paella was only for two people, but that's quite typical in Spain. Overall, a highly recommended dish!

Very nice, with friendly Spanish owners. The food was good but not excellent; there was a lot of garlic in all the dishes we tried. But the place as a whole was worth the experience.

The service was slow, and I felt like the staff were very rude. For example: nobody even came by to ask if I wanted a second glass of wine. (which is weird, since restaurants are generally very happy to sell a second or third glass of wine) Nor did the other patrons seem to be having this problem. Next time I visit Berlin, I will avoid this restaurant. Note: according to the email I just got from Google, it appears the owner of the restaurant is now trying to remove my review because it violates his "rights." (Keep in mind I had to translate it, so who knows how accurate that is) Regardless, this is a weird situation that only furthers my negative impression of this restaurant. I've edited my review to add additional clarity. This owner could have easily replied to the review, tried to make it right, or taken other actions that are normal for restaurant owners as they try to repair negative impressions and improve those situations. Instead, they file a nonsense complaint to Google? Make of that what you will. Regardless, deleting negative reviews doesn't fix the problems that lead to negative reviews.

We were treated like welcome guests at home. With plenty of wit and charm. A brief escape into Spanish hospitality. The food was delicious. Thumbs up!

We went to this restaurant for my birthday, ordered black paella and wine – the atmosphere was fantastic, and for a moment we felt like we were in Catalonia. The service was perfect – they always asked with a smile if everything was okay, and we felt very well taken care of. The restaurant is authentic, and you can see the heart and love for culture and cooking put into it. If you want to travel to Spain and experience the atmosphere of the Iberian Peninsula, YOU MUST GO HERE!!! Thank you for a great birthday party, I recommend it to everyone.

Above all, the atmosphere was fantastic! Throughout our visit, we felt taken care of by the staff and transported to Barcelona. Great restaurant, very friendly staff. The food is delicious. The mixed grill and the aioli are highly recommended. There was a slight misunderstanding regarding the aioli we ordered: other tables were served aioli with their bread, but if you order one, it's served with the bread and no more.

The experience was okay overall. Some dishes were really good, while others were a bit underwhelming. Nothing was terrible, but not everything lived up to expectations either. Service was definitely a highlight, friendly staff and the food arrived quickly. My server was incredible - knew it was my birthday when I came in and shook my hand. Wish I got his name! Was super friendly, always smiling, really welcoming and available at all times. Gave me a really cute dessert with a candle and gave us a round of drinks at the end 🥹 Best service I've ever seen in this city! The music in the place was really good - we were dancing in our seats. The food was super delicious - loved the steak, aioli, patatas bravas, gambas. We got two bottles of wine at the server's recommendation and they were both amazing, honesltly! Bar behind the table was super convenient too.

Excellent tapas and a very good red wine. We wanted to order Serrano ham, but were advised against it and given a sample. The waitress said they didn't have any good Serrano ham today. "Wow... 99% of people would have brought us the "bad" ham and charged us for it. Not here. Thank you for a great evening.

Von außen denkt man… naja… aber wenn dann die Tür aufgeht ist man in Spanien. Mein Credo ist ja „Essen gehen nur wenn es besser ist als das was man zuhause selber macht“ und das ist ein Volltreffer. Ich glaube ich hab ein neues Lieblings Restaurant.

As a Berliner, I can't say this is my neighborhood. Friedrichstraße is dead at night and full of tourists during the day. So we were all the more surprised to find this nice restaurant. Authentic Spanish tapas at fair prices. The service and waitresses were excellent. If you don't want to arrive at 5 p.m., you should make a reservation.

Very pleasant meal with good quality tapas. Average but acceptable service. The big problem is the final bill with the sangria overcharged 1€70 more than the price indicated on the menu. Unacceptable to make fun of a passing customer like this. Too bad but I won't come back.

Well, the food is something we had never experienced before. Absolutely divine...super well prepared, tasty, in good quantity and above all, it is the kind of food that makes us come back to this place time and time again. I think the price is appropriate for the quality of everything I mentioned before... I highly recommend that you visit this place.....
