Bar Restaurant Zentrale in Maulbronn

We ate here after a hike and had made a reservation beforehand. The food was good overall. I had a salad with turkey, which tasted good, although I would have liked a bit more salad – the portion was a little small. Unfortunately, the service wasn't very attentive either: the drinks were simply placed on the table, so we had to pass them around ourselves. It's a shame, because with a little more friendliness, it would have been a really nice visit. Addendum: You have to be able to handle criticism. We came after a hike, and everyone was in good spirits. If the service was unfriendly, and everyone agreed it was, then it certainly wasn't our fault. Is it too much to ask that drinks and food be brought to the guests' tables? Check out my other reviews! I rarely complain about the service. But when it happens, it happens, and nine people at the table were unanimous about it!

We ate delicious, authentic German food and the service was 10👏🏻👏🏻 we enjoyed it very much.

As bikers, we appreciate being able to keep an eye on our bikes while sitting comfortably and enjoying delicious food. The headquarters is ideal for this. ✌🏼 We'd love to come back again.

We went for lunch. It was relatively quick, and the service was very friendly. The quality could have been improved, but all in all, it was good.

It was our first time there. The side salad wasn't worth the money, but otherwise everything was fine.

Unfortunately, it hasn't been as tasty as it used to be lately. The food was only served lukewarm on my last few visits, and the taste was a bit bland. The portion sizes were so-so, and often just tasted like it was just reheated. Unfortunately, we don't find it as tasty or fresh as it used to be. It's a shame, really.

Very delicious food – I had a schnitzel and a junior menu for my son. The portions are honest and generous, and the prices are absolutely fair. Compared to other restaurants I've been to, they're the same or even cheaper. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is super friendly – ​​there was really nothing to complain about. A restaurant with a small outdoor terrace, very fast paced, even when it's extremely busy. BUT :( the food: my vegetarian Pinsa: I haven't even experienced anything like that at a snack bar before. That's actually one star from me - sorry, but next time I'll have the chef come and explain to me what it is: dry flatbread with tomatoes painted in watercolor with white, unsightly blobs of something? Please, there are also diced tomatoes, a few vegetables and a small amount of ruccola and everything is vegetarian or ä..., very very What a shame!!

Unfortunately I can't recommend it. Had a company outing. Service is sometimes overwhelming, unfriendly, food is too bland, no taste, Maultaschen are not homemade in terms of taste, potato salad is a failure, side salad cannot be called that. Simply loveless. The gravy was good, homemade I think

Not recommended. We were there with a large group of 110 people for a company outing. Since all the tables inside were already occupied by colleagues, our group sat on the terrace in front of the house. We were evicted on the grounds that "this is for the regulars". So either sit individually at the tables with others, sit uncomfortably at the bar or ultimately on the cold, shady balcony on the north side of the house. Plus the saying from the boss(?) “the sun will come in 20 minutes”. Maultaschen were okay, service was okay. Thank God the organizer was there again a week beforehand, because the reservation wasn't stored anywhere!

The day before yesterday we were at the Zentrale restaurant in Maulbronn and were absolutely overwhelmed! The food was simply excellent, the service was first class and the atmosphere was very inviting and cozy. We felt completely at home and can warmly recommend the restaurant. An absolute top address for everyone who appreciates good cuisine and a pleasant stay.

I can definitely recommend the restaurant/bar. The food was good! It's definitely a great idea to make a Maultaschen into a Cordon Bleu 🤪😋. It also tasted really good. The only thing I can complain about is that I was asked whether I wanted roast or cream sauce with it. At the beginning I was not brought any sauce and upon request a gravy with cream. Yes, it tasted good and yes it was a cream sauce, but you could tell that they actually only had gravy and quickly whipped up a cream sauce. It can happen wasn't too bad. The ambience in the restaurant was nice but unfortunately, like in many other restaurants these days, the tables are really small. In the bar right next door the space is completely different and there is enough space at the table. There is also an e-dart board. There are also 2 screens and Dazn, so there is definitely something for football fans. Unfortunately, the rim of the mug was broken on my first beer, which should have been noticed as a bartender. I drank the beer anyway. You don't want to let anything go to waste. Then I pointed it out and the jug was immediately thrown away. But all in all I have to say that I can recommend the restaurant and bar 100%.

Nice restaurant, right on the street with an inconspicuous entrance, but inside in the restaurant area it's quiet and cozy. Prices absolutely okay, food like it has been cooked with love and delicious for 30 years. Owner Theo and his team really take care of the well-being of their guests. Questions like “do you like it” are not artificial but are meant honestly. Of course, families with children are also welcome here. I have lived further away for many years and am always happy when I manage to stop by.

Unbelievably Rude and Disrespectful service. The lady didn’t say hello, doesn’t inform about available offers and gives a long Hochnäsig look. To top it, Pizza on Pizzatag cost 11,90 euro; but a glass of cola is 4,60 Euro. Never ever go there.

We usually order food to pick up and it's always a dream! No long waiting times, if you do you get compensation in the form of drinks (which I don't think has to be the case, but it's still nice). The kids get gummy bears and the service is really top!

I was thrilled to visit the restaurant, which looks inconspicuous from the outside. There were five of us and appreciated the chic interior design. The service was quick and friendly, just as you would imagine. The food was a poem. The Maultaschen were excellent and a generous portion. The boss personally informed us briefly about how the dishes were prepared in-house and the local suppliers and asked whether we were satisfied. I can unreservedly recommend this restaurant. In any case, we were very satisfied. Service, food, prices - everything was TOP

We were there with the girls' regulars' table and we really enjoyed everything! Even the boss himself often asked us if everything was okay. We really had nothing to complain about and were very happy with everything!

I have to say that the quality of the food is great. There are many things that are freshly prepared and you can taste it. The staff and the chef are very friendly and accommodating. You feel comfortable and in good hands. The menu on the daily menu was very tasty and was rightly recommended.

Unfortunately, the prices on the homepage are no longer correct. Pizzas are sometimes 2.50 euros more expensive and when eating the edges are often very dry or burnt. We often came here from outside, but it wasn't worth the trip there. Also quite cold inside and not exactly comfortable. The large table is in the middle of the path, almost in front of the toilets and the counter. Does not have to be. Based on the answer from the operator, I add: if the doors keep opening, it is of course cool. Especially for older people. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures because the edge wasn't crispy, but black and bitter. There is a difference. Well...all the best to you all!

We received a very friendly welcome and had an excellent meal. We were traveling with a toddler and were very happy about the little play area and the high chair! The food was fresh and lovingly prepared, and the lunch menu was unbeatable in terms of price. Service quick and very nice! Overall, an excellent price-performance ratio.

You can eat great here, good quality and plentiful. The service is quick and friendly. We have decided to set up our Behr regulars' table here. Had dinner yesterday. Beef strak with cognac cream sauce.. It was super good again, the meat was tender and fried medium. Nice service.

Went there to eat and watch football with friends. Cozy but very cool (draught) due to the many smokers going in and out, to smoke in the smoking room. Very attentive conditions.

Von aussen täuscht der Eindruck. Die Zentrale ist ein kleines, sehr nettes Restaurant mit wirklich gutem Essen. Es gibt je nach Wochentag verschiedene Specials, aber auch die normale Karte bietet eine schöne Auswahl. Die Pizza ist sehr gut, aber auch die Steaks haben ein besonderes Lob verdient. Wir gehen da immer hin, wenn wir in Maulbronn sind.

Wir waren 3 Tage wandern und haben hier am besten gegessen. Das Gericht Schwabe trifft Grieche war nicht nur vom Namen speziell es schmeckte auch sehr lecker Bedienung sehr freundlich. Macht weiter so...

Wir gehen, gerade im Sommer,gerne hin zum Salat essen. Ob hinten auf dem Balkon etwas ruhiger als vorne aber trotzdem draussen, oder drin : es ist cool in der Zentrale. Auch wenn es mal voller ist und die Kollegin nicht gekommen ist : der Service bleibt relaxed und nimmt sich Zeit für die Gäste und macht eines nach dem anderen.

Perfecto. Buena calidad y cantidad de comida. Platos muy generosos. La camarera hablaba español y todo fue más fácil. Pedimos el plato típico de la zona (Klosterpfannle) y estaba muy bueno. Un buen sitio para comer si vas a visitar el Monasterio. Buena calidad/precio.

Schöne Atmosphäre und gute Unterhaltung. Egal ob Fußball oder auch Musik es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Einige Tage bieten sehr gut Angebote. Z.B. der Steaktag oder auch Pizzatag. Es sind gute Angebote zu sehr guten Preisen. Außerdem ist es möglich Gutscheine zu verschenken für Freunde und Familie. Für große Veranstaltungen kann man sich auch einige Tische reservieren und feiern.

Immer wieder schön. Gutes Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Tolle Atmosphäre und ein großartiger Gastgeber.

Liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, Speisekarte bietet Gerichte für jeden Geschmack, auch für Vegetarier, Maultaschen (selbstgemacht) in verschiedenen Varianten mega lecker. Selten so freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient worden!

Heute ist etwas passiert ... was mich und meine Familie sehr enttäuscht hat. In all den Jahren ist mir so etwas noch nie passiert hier bei der " Zentrale". Es reicht nicht mehr aus, "Bitte einen Kaffee" zu sagen ... nein, es reicht nicht mehr, denn wenn Sie aus Versehen einmal vergessen, "Guten Morgen" zu sagen, werden Sie nicht mehr bedient....und dieses Gefühl trage ich heute immer noch mit mir . Sie hat zu mir gesagt sehr unfreundlich " Erst mal guten Morgen " und mich behandelt, als wäre ich einen Straftäter. Es ist nicht möglich ... und sogar akzeptabel das Verhalten der Kellnerin (blond ..groß..schlank und sehr unsympathisch ).... die ihr nicht bewusst ist , was es heißt, nett zu sein .... und den Wert eines Kunde für die "Zentrale". Die Zentrale sieht von außen unscheinbar aus, hat aber deutlich mehr zu bieten als man auf den ersten Blick vermuten würde. Das Essen ist sehr gut, besonders auch das Fleisch, der Service ist gut, die Preise sind sehr fair. Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hin, wenn wir in der Nähe sind und spontan Platz finden.

Bei unserem Besuch war Nudeltag, also bestellten wir Penne mit Lachs und Spagetti Carbonara. Die Speisen waren schmackhaft und ausreichend. Der Salat ist verbesserungswürdig. Das Ambiente ist sehr "schlicht", hier müsste einiges gemacht werden um uns als Stammgäste zu gewinnen. Der linke Eingangsbereich schreckt Gäste ab, man meint in eine Bar zu gehen. Wir haben Personen beobachtet, die da wieder umgedreht haben, wir auch fast... Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir wagen einen zweiten Besuch und hoffen dann auf die in Facebook suggerierten schwäbischen Speisen.
