Very tasty Thai dishes. The levels of spiciness vary somewhat, although the same level of spiciness is stated. Pretty well attended. Reservation would be better. However, there is a time window for eating of about 2 hours. The furnishings are not that inviting as are the chairs.

Anyone who has just returned from Thailand and is hoping to continue their trip here will be bitterly disappointed. The soup for the starter “Tom Kha Gung” was a soluble soup broth. Only the 3 shrimps in it were very tasty. However, even the worst takeaway in Thailand makes better soup than this. When I asked the main course number 28 whether it always came with rice, the comment was "I could also pay extra for the rice". The rice is not on the menu. When I wanted something to spice things up, a bowl of finely chopped chilies arrived which were later charged at 2.50. In every Bangkok Thai snack bar, no matter how dingy, you will receive better and friendlier service than is the case here. I will never go to this restaurant in Oberhausen again. You probably only experience Thai friendliness once you've been there.

The three of us had the food delivered, unfortunately the food wasn't to our liking. To be honest, the food was too adapted to the European palate for us, we like it authentically Thai. Dishes that were listed as "spicy" on the menu were not spicy at all and the "very spicy" ones were just a little spicy. For some guests it might be just right, but not for us.

We have ordered here several times. Very authentic, delicious and, above all, always warm and fresh food. Delivery (during peak times) usually always takes less than an hour.

After our trip through Thailand we found a nice restaurant here that cooks relatively authentically. We have tried a variety of dishes here and have never been disappointed. However, on the weekend we waited 1 - 1.5 hours for our food. Otherwise the price-performance ratio is right.

Positive: The food tastes really excellent! It is served in great bowls. It could be a little more for my taste, but the quality is very, very good! The sauces were great. Not so great: The drink was instead of 400ml as stated on the menu and paid for, only 300ml! The supposedly fried rice noodles were only briefly tossed in oil and were definitely not fried! The place is ok. There are enough parking spaces opposite. We're going there again.

We were in Bangkok for the first time today. The service was very friendly and the food was top, tasted like a dream. Can only be recommended. We will be back.

Pad Thai and Pad Sieuw were visually indistinguishable. Pad Sieuw is a little darker and made with thicker noodles. All noodle dishes here are prepared with thin noodles, including the Lak Na dish. Which in itself is completely fine. The Lak Na dish was very bland. It didn't taste like anything, we had to season it with chili/fish sauce. Pad sieuw was okay, we all liked Pad Thai the best.

Have only ordered there so far. The food is always at a consistent level and very tasty. The delivery by the restaurant staff is always great. Extremely friendly.

Wir waren vor 25 Jahren in Thailand mit langer Rundreise und fühlten uns wieder ins Land des Lächelns zurück versetzt und haben den Aufenthalt genossen mit sehr guten Essen und freundlichen Service , eine Reise wert.

For me it was once the best Thai far and wide. But in my opinion it has worn off. The 291 was generally tasty, but the chicken was somehow quite tough. The 241 was a decent coconut curry. I came across this restaurant while researching for dinner near my hotel... Because of the many positive reviews I decided to have dinner here... I would receive a friendly welcome and even a little small talk with the lady at the bar helped me feel comfortable here... the food was delicious and the price-performance ratio was good... I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience...

It must be admitted that the cuisine is good. On the other hand, I have rarely had such an unpleasant welcome. We had booked online but we were ignored upon arrival for 15 long minutes. We almost left when we heard "wait" from the person at the bar. The table service was then correct. When paying, the establishment does not take Visa credit, we had to insist for 10 minutes to be able to successfully use Visa debit. Experience in two shades therefore for this restaurant. We will not come back.

We spontaneously decided on the Bangkok in Oberhausen. We received a very friendly welcome, the service was very pleasant and really nice. The food was very tasty and spiciness was added at the request of the gentlemen at our table. All in all, including drinks, it was a well-rounded, beautiful and, above all, a pleasant evening. Great cinema, my best Thai restaurant so far. Starter platter, green curry, sweet and sour duck, everything to the point and freshly prepared. The owner has been there for 15 years and you can taste it.

Mein Mann hat heute Geburtstag und er wollte unbedingt thailändisch essen. Da ich blöderweise mit ausgeprägten Unverträglichkeiten gesegnet bin, hatte ich vorab schonmal mit Freundinnen da gegessen, um zu checken, was ich essen kann. Damals war es eines der "Kindergerichte" - war sehr lecker, konnte ich gut mit leben. Heute wieder Vorort, wurde mir die Bestellung des Gerichts verwehrt. Auch auf Kompromisse hat man sich nicht eingelassen, natürlich hätte ich auch einen Aufpreis akzeptiert. Leider hatten wir schon die Vorspeise bestellt. Gegessen, bezahlt, gegangen. Der wirklich unhöfliche Umgang mit der Situation hat uns den Rest gegeben. Wir sind dann noch in ein anderes Restaurant, das das Geburtstagsessen gerettet hat. Nie wieder.

Ich war zufällig in der Nähe und habe mich entschieden dort zu Abend zu essen. Leider war der Empfang nicht sehr herzlich. Und natürlich hatte ich nicht reserviert (es war ein Montag) und war allein. Ich hätte gerne im vorderen Bereich, auf dem Boden, gesessen. Was abgelehnt wurde obwohl alles frei war. Das Essen war lecker, aber nur deutsch scharf obwohl ich darauf hingewiesen habe die thailändische Küche zu mögen. Also es wurde nicht wirklich auf meine Wünsche eingegangen.

Lecker, gemütlich, Preis-Leistung stimmen!

Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist stimmig und das Essen einwandfrei! Vor allem, wenn man auch scharf essen möchte. Der Service ist überraschend : im Restaurant sehr aufmerksam und zu Hause hat uns die Dame vom Lieferservice das Essen durch den Garten bis zur Terrasse gebracht! Und ob im Restaurant oder als Lieferung - die Qualität bleibt!

Ich komme sehr gerne hier hin und wir nehmen immer zu Zweit einer der Platten, sehr gerne die 47 Chang Mai. Der Service ist ebenfalls schnell und freundlich und die Preise angemessen. Das Ambiente ist sicherlich in die Jahre gekommen und es gibt Schönere Restaurants, aber wem das Essen am Wichtigsten ist, der ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Parkplätze auf der Straße kostenfrei vorhanden, zumindest wenn ich da war

Essen und Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeitenden verdienen 5 Sterne. Leider war der Service bzgl. Getränke nicht so gut. Wir waren mit mehreren Personen, die Getränke kamen kleckerweise und die letzten Getränke kamen erst als die ersten schon die Vorspeisen hatten. Getränke Nachbestellungen dauerten auch sehr lange.

Erstklassiges Thai-Essen, wahrscheinlich das beste Thai Restaurant in der Region. Sehr sympathisches Personal und günstige Preise für solch eine hohe Qualität.

I ate vegetarian food. Papaya salad was good but hot. Green curry with tofu is good but the sweet sour sauce was bad. They only accept cash and that is not nice.

Hatten das Lokal schon länger im Auge und nun haben wir es endlich mal geschafft. Service sehr freundlich, das Essen war vorzüglich. Gerne wieder. Einzig der hintere Bereich hat mich persönlich nicht ganz überzeugt, fand es optisch nicht so angenehm vom Ambiente her.

Kort voor sluitingstijd, toch nog even kunnen bestellen, maar wel met haast. Zo goed, dat we de volgende dag eerder zijn en meer kunnen genieten. De rijst, zuren en smaken zoals het hoort te zijn. Dichtbij de real deal. Pittig, maar niet pittig genoeg voor onze gusto. Een enorme aanrader! Pad thai, vooralsnog de beste in Europa in mijn boekje.

Obwohl wir keinen Tisch reserviert hatten war es kein Problem. Wir waren zu Viert. Der Schärfegrad war den europäischen Verhältnissen angemessen. Für einen geübten Gaumen (was die Schärfe anbelangt) hätte es schärfer sein können. Wir fühlten uns rundherum wohl. Essen war total lecker und die Portionen nicht zu groß. Es war ein schöner Abend.

Freundliche Bedienung und schmackhaftes Essen - leider manchmal zu sehr "eingedeutscht" - aber wohl eher der Schärfe wegen. Ein Besuch ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Accueil désagréable et méprisant . N’y allé jamais si vous êtes touristes et que nous ne parlez pas allemand. Nous nous y sommes rendu par hasard et sans réservation . La serveuse déjà très méprisante nous attribue une table par dépit alors que le restaurant n’était absolument pas bondé . Une fois installé le serveur nous amène la carte et directement nous signale que ce n’est pas possible de payer avec notre carte de banque mais seulement une carte de banque allemande . Il n’avait clairement pas envie de nous servir … je déconseille ce restaurant ou alors il faudrait leur donner des leçons de civilité et de courtoisie …

Sehr lecker und geschmackvolles Essen. Ein bisschen auf der scharfen Seite, meine Mutter hat geschwitzt. Aber sonst war es super service und das Essen mega lecker. Grosse Empfehlung fuer das ansonsten etwas altmodische Oberhausen.
