Das Essen ist sehr lecker und reichlich. Die Angestellten sind freundlich. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen. Ich kehre jedes Mal dort ein, wenn ich in der Gegend bin.

Schönes Beisammensein mit der Familie, sehr freundlicher Service und gutes Essen.

Ohne Reservierung haben wir am Pfingstmontag noch einen Platz bekommen. Saßen herrlich auf der Terrasse an der Wiese. Spielplatz (fast) in Sichtweite. Essen war sehr gut, typische Gerichte vom balkan ordentlich zubereitet. Sowohl der Chef als auch die Bedienung waren sehr nett.

Waren das erste Mal im Balkan-Haus Wernau: Super Balkanessen, vor allem Beilagen, Ćevapčići und Pljeskavica, absolut empfehlenswert für diejenigen, die originelles Balkanessen ("und nicht eingedeutschte Ćevapčići") suchen. Bedienungen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ambiente ist super im gelungenen Mix von Almstil und traditionellem Jugostil, mit sanfter Jugomusik im Hintergrund. Toller Abend und sehr empfehlenswert. Werden sicherlich bald wieder zugast sein.

Von 10 Punkten würde ich 12 geben. Das Essen ist super lecker und es ist für jeden was dabei. Sie sind alle suuuuuuper freundlich und man wird hier herzlich aufgenommen.🩵Das Ambiente ist auch seehr toll. Es gibt draußen eine Terrasse und oben ein Balokon wo man essen kann. Ich persönlich finde es sehr sehr sehr toll und cool💖Die Bestellungen werden je nach Tag super aufgenommen. Ich liebe es❤️ Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen 🤌🫶👍

Das Restaurant liegt im 1. Obergeschoss. Beim Betreten des Hauses roch es im Untergeschoss doch streng nach den dort befindlichen Toiletten. Das sollte den Betreibern doch eigentlich auch auffallen. Das Restaurant im Obergeschoss war aber sehr gepflegt, doch der uns zugewiesene Tisch im vorderen Bereich des Restaurants an der Fensterfront nach hinten, war recht dunkel. Im hinteren Teil des Restaurants ist eine hellere Beleuchtung angebracht. Wenn mehrere Gäste anwesend sind, ist der Raum aber sehr hellhörig und etwas laut. Die einzige Bedienung (weiblich) machte Dienst nach Vorschrift, war aber bemüht. Die Speisen haben 4 Sterne bekommen, doch die Cevapcici waren mir persönlich etwas zu weich und hätten auch noch etwas mehr Gewürze vertragen. Ein Beilagen Salat ist hier leider bei den Hauptspeisen nicht inkludiert und den typischen Sliwowitz / Julischka beim Bezahlen erhält man hier leider auch nicht vom Haus. Wir kommen bei Gelegenheit aber trotzdem wieder.

Anlässlich meines Geburtstags gestern hier mit Familie zum Essen gewesen🍽️ Sehr sauber und ansprechend! Die Speisen waren vorzüglich! Chef und Personal sehr freundlich! Zudem absolut Kinder freundlich! Einfach nur empfehlenswert!!!

Wir hatten ein hervorragendes Essen. Die Speisen waren frisch, geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt und sehr schön angerichtet.Man merkt sofort die hohe Qualität der Zutaten und die frische Zubereitung. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der freundliche und aufmerksame Service-sehr herzlich, schnell und professionell. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Besuch. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können das Balkanhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen ist ok , die Bedienung freundlich .Auch die Einrichtung ist ok .Aber was gewaltig stört ist , daß es sehr anstrengend ist , die riesengrosse Speiskarte zu durchforsten , da alles in jugoslawischen geschrieben ist und darunter klein in deutsch. Leider macht es uns daher keinen Spaß, dort zu essen .

Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr sehr freundlich und lustig. Bin zum 1. mal hier und das Essen ist Tip Top da ich selber Kroatin bin und es genauso schmeckt wie in meiner Heimat. Bin selber zum 1. Mal hier und würde aufjedenfall hier öfters essen kommen tolle Aussicht . Einfach extrem zufrieden Rezerviert lieber früher da er sehr oft voll ist so habt ihr sicher euren Platz

We were there Friday evening and ordered both the house Balkan platter and the spare ribs, and we couldn't decide which was better! 😍 Our friends were also very happy with their meals! The service was very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, and the owner even came by to ask for feedback and crack some jokes – fantastic! We will definitely be back again.

Our visit to the Balkanhaus in Deizisau was unfortunately far from the standard a restaurant with this aspiration would expect. Despite an initially stylish impression, this was quickly shattered by the behavior on site. From the moment we entered, an unpleasantly condescending atmosphere was palpable, both from some of the staff and some of the guests. Elegant attire here doesn't seem to be a sign of respect, but rather an occasion for disdainful glances and disrespectful behavior. Doors were slammed demonstratively, and we were ignored instead of greeted. Such gestures create an atmosphere that has nothing to do with genuine hospitality. The restaurant business is about respect, professionalism, and a feeling of welcome, regardless of who enters. This fundamental attitude was precisely what was lacking in this establishment. Had we been treated with the respect we ourselves expect, our visit would have been completely different. And let me say this: If you knew who you were dealing with, you would certainly think twice about such behavior. Confidence and respect are not weaknesses, but rather signs of character and class.

Okay for those not familiar with it. The rest? Well...

We really enjoy coming here for spare ribs. So far, we've always been able to go on Fridays without pre-ordering. The service is friendly. Parking is available.

The "Balkan Brunch - All You Can Eat" is unfortunately very disappointing! The name and the advertising suggest something completely different. The offering has virtually nothing to do with a Balkan breakfast. The only Balkan specialties available were Ćevape and ajvar, and nothing else you'd associate with a true Balkan brunch. No Balkan sausage... no bread... The offerings differ significantly from the photo on the menu. The buffet is much more reminiscent of a regular hotel breakfast... what a shame.

We were invited to a birthday party today. Everything was great! Friendly staff and delicious food. We'd love to come back!

We were guests at the Balkanhaus for an introductory meal. The staff were all very friendly and looked after us well! The food was really good considering it was a buffet. Some of the food wasn't quite warm, but that's not a criticism. My only criticism is the noise level. Because it's a large room, it was simply too loud for me. It was difficult to have a conversation. A room divider could help with this.

We had an à la carte meal at the Balkan Haus in Deizisau. First of all, we'd like to emphasize that the staff was extremely friendly – ​​we really enjoyed that. The appetizer, fried mushrooms, was also really delicious and left us wanting more. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the main course. We had cevapcici – one with fries and the other with potato wedges. Both side dishes were completely unseasoned, with no salt or other spices. The tomato rice tasted very watery, and the cevapcici seemed quite soft and lacking in flavor. Perhaps we just had a bad day, especially since they also offered an open buffet. However, based on this experience, we wouldn't come back à la carte. It's a shame, because the service and the appetizer actually made a good first impression.

We were there for a test meal on two days. Service was excellent. Friday's asparagus ribs were buttery soft and delicious. Please note! Pre-ordering is required as preparation takes over two hours (you can also order and pick up). On Thursday, we ordered from the menu. Four of us had different dishes, and everyone was very satisfied. Highly recommended.

Good Balkan cuisine. The food was very good. They even serve Karlovacko beer. Unfortunately, the staff doesn't speak German very well, which led to a misunderstanding with my order. The order was then corrected reluctantly and quite unfriendly, and then again incorrectly. I decided to leave it at that. One star deducted for that.

On the weekend, it's a carnival-like experience. The innkeeper is excellent. The food is okay. The prices are just right.

The pay was solid, the taste, the quantity is plenty, the coffee I ordered I got coffee-flavored milk and cold, I ordered water, I got water in a bottle without a cup.

I ate at Balkan Haus and tried the meat platter. The portion was really generous, perfect for meat lovers. The meat was juicy and well seasoned, especially the cevapcici had an authentic taste. Side dishes such as Djuvec rice and fried potatoes as well as fries rounded the whole thing off. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and the service was friendly. A solid Balkan restaurant if you're in the mood for hearty cuisine. I'd love to come back!

Were there for the first time on Sunday. There was a buffet that day and we were very disappointed that the food was lukewarm to cold. That just doesn't work at all. There wasn't really much choice in salads either. The ambience wasn't really great, the room wasn't warm and the seating was very hard and uncomfortable. The toilet was also warm and more comfortable. Once and never again. I'd rather go to the Chinese restaurant if they have a buffet. More choice with soup, dessert and drinks included and you pay €8 more.

Yesterday, January 5th, 2025, I ate there for the first time and what can I say... The food there was so excellent, I haven't eaten so well in a long time, except directly in the Balkans. Guys, try it, it's so delicious, the service was very friendly and accommodating, answered all of my questions well and went to the chef twice because I asked her specific questions about the food. Four of us were at the Balkan-Haus Wernau and had a really great evening. I was there for the second time and was impressed again. The location is in a great location, right near an outdoor swimming pool and a mini golf course, which makes it particularly attractive in summer. The restaurant impresses with a great ambience, a cozy outdoor terrace and the opportunity to celebrate larger parties as well as simply enjoy a relaxed dinner. The menu offers a wide selection, so there really is something for everyone. I had a Sopska salad as a starter and also ordered bread - the salad was excellent and the cheese was generously portioned. For the main course I chose the mixed Serbian platter, which was simply a dream in terms of taste. Everything was fresh, hot and authentic – almost like you were eating straight from the Balkans. There was also Jelen Pivo, and the restaurant also offers Cockta, which is another highlight for lovers of Balkan specialties. Our entire group was very satisfied - both with the food and the price. The portions are generous and the value for money is absolutely right. A small note: Payment is only possible with Girocard, not with Visa or Mastercard - you should know that in advance, but it's not a big problem. The service was also excellent: the boss and the entire team were super friendly and attentive. The round of Schlivovitz (schnapps), which the boss gave us, was particularly nice - a nice end to a successful evening. There are enough parking spaces, even for larger groups or events. I would definitely like to come back and can recommend the Balkan-Haus Wernau without reservation. Keep it up!

Was here for the third time and again huge portions at fair prices. The food is incredibly good and a glass of raki is on the house. The lady who looked after us does her job with heart, is incredibly helpful and incredibly friendly. The toilets are clean and nothing to complain about. So all in all, highly recommended.

The restaurant is truly an authentic Balkan restaurant with a focus on Serbian cuisine. The decor is reminiscent of ethnic style, and in addition to the indoor area, you can also sit outside. The waiters are nice guys, ready to provide good service and there are no problems with the order. The food is 10/10. Beef soup is an excellent choice for an appetizer, and although I'm personally a big fan of the Karadjordje schnitzel, I have to admit that Punjena vešalica pleased me even more. Finally we have a real Karadjordje schnitzel (filled ONLY with kaymak) in town. The desserts are also very tasty and most importantly, nothing is too salty or too sweet, everything is moderate. We didn't have to wait long for our ordered food and everything arrived fresh, a special plus for the flatbreads. You can pay by card or cash. The only advice is to pay a little attention to the hygiene of the toilets. All the best and see you next time!
