The best thing we had was the baked duck with rice and wok vegetables. Vegetables were fresh, duck was delicious. Spring rolls are also very good as a starter. Very good price-performance ratio.

Not bad food. I had better thai foods before. The oil they were using was smelling so taste was off little bit. The meat/ shrimp amount was little for the size of the plate. There was a small child sound coming from kitchen and big screen tv playing something from Thailand in dinning area. So the atmosphere was not great

Das Bai Kaprao Thai Restaurant kann ich nicht empfehlen. Das Essen hatte mit guten Thai Essen wenig zu tun. Ente mit rotem Curry und Gemüse klang verheißungsvoll. Was dann aus der Küche geliefert wurde war ein geschmackloses, sehr wässeriges Curry mit eine sehr wabbeligen Entenbrust.

The Pad Krapao was very tasty. I've never eaten anything like this before. I really liked the combination of minced meat, rice and fried egg with a slight spiciness. I'll definitely come here again.

I ordered a plate of kaphao kai med mamuang and it was pretty good. I would say if the restaurant was in a better location and more spacious, it would’ve been better. The thai tea was delicious. However, i am guessing the price is overall higher than average because the portions are large for the food. Overall, good.

I tried this restaurant pretty recently I didn't know what to expect because i never tried thai food before. I was introduced to thai food by a thai friend. I was not sure if the food is really authentic but he approved to be really good and authentic. The place is really cozy and it feels that is a family owned restaurant who put love in every plate. I had the thai milk tea and the fried rice with chicken which I recommend to everyone going there

Super tasty food and large portions on the lunch menu.

My daughter and I stopped in here for some Thai food. What a disappointment. I have literally eaten at hundreds of Thai restaurants and this was hands-down the worst. My daughter ordered Pad See Ew. It was completely flavorless and simply had pork noodles and vegetables with absolutely no seasoning or spice. I ordered what the man you said was fried chicken and vegetables, and what was brought out to me was chicken and vegetables that were stirfried and some sort of sauce that had a very sugary sweet flavor. Not good. Maybe this is simply what Germans expect Thai food to taste like, but it was definitely not worth ever going here again. Maybe we just order the things on the menu.

Several times a week I get Thai food, either out or at home, made by a Thai native. At Bai Kaprao I got duck that was wrapped in flour and deep fried, there was no liquid/sauce with the vegetables they had chosen to cook with the duck. Will go so far as to say that it was half-cooked/fried vegetables when i.a. tomatoes that were in were not fried. It cannot possibly be a Thai chef standing in the kitchen, but a Chinese one, or someone who has lost all Thai food culture, as both taste and other things were prepared in a Chinese way, with almost no taste. Quality and taste was good by Chinese way, but very disappointing by Thai food culture. I won't go there again. As foreigners, they do not accept cards, only the German EC card or cash. Correction after reply from owner: It is not correct that Duck is not on the menu in Thailand, so that augment does not hold in reality. Conversely, jog also doesn't care because I won't go there again.

Had dinner here with 3 Thai girls, based on a recommendation. Food was great. Tasty, well seasoned and very plentiful. Everything super fresh and authentic. Service very friendly. Ambiance could do with some work, but still very comfortable. Everything was very clean, including sanitary rooms. I'll definitely come back.

Small, family-like Thai restaurant. Very friendly employee who will definitely give good advice if needed. The food was very tasty and far from the “standard Thai restaurant”. The two dishes we ordered were very different (meant as praise) and did what they promised ("bit spicy"). If you don't like coriander, you should definitely say so beforehand. Some dishes are out of the question - garnish can be changed. The drinks may lack a bit of variety, but absolutely okay for a small restaurant. We can highly recommend Bai Kaprao.

Great restaurant, both food and service were top. The map is not huge, but it is sufficient. I really enjoyed the food, everything was perfectly timed and seasoned. The service was friendly and the waiting times were short. The prices are also reasonable for what is on offer, many main courses cost around €15-16. A reservation is recommended. (05/2024)

Bremer Luft macht offensichtlich Appetit und den Gatten gelüstete es nach etwas Exotischem, so stießen wir auf das kleine Lokal. Bescheiden und etwas unscheinbar kommt es im Charme der 1990er daher, das dunkle Kunststofffurnier drückt zunächst ein wenig auf die Stimmung. Die Anzahl der Tische ist überschaubar, die Gerichte auf der Speisekarte auch, aus unserer Sicht ein absolutes Plus. Wir wurden bei der Menüwahl sehr nett beraten und betreut, erhielten zwar trotzdem eine andere Suppe, aber vielleicht waren einige Zutaten aus oder wir hatten uns verguckt. In jedem Fall war das ziemlich schnurz, weil einfach lecker. Die beiden von uns bestellten Hauptgerichte genossen wir gleichfalls mit gutem Appetit. Zwischendurch schaute die Köchin des offensichtlich familiengeführten Restaurants vorbei und überprüfte, ob es uns auch wirklich schmeckt. Jawoll, das tat es. Absolut empfehlenswert, wir hatten einen genussvollen Abend.

Unfortunately pork belly was very dry. But the taste is very good. The quantity of duck had far too little taste but it was also good.

Das beste thailändische Essen, das ich jemals in Deutschland gegessen habe.

Das Essen war mega lecker. Also leckerer als sonst bei einem Thailänder. Mit sehr viel Liebe und know how angerichtet. Auffällig saubere Toiletten. Der Laden ist natürlich nicht so groß aber man kann gemütlich sitzen. Also absolute Empfehlung von uns. Vielen Dank noch mal.

I had Ente curry. I don’t know if it was authentic Thai, but I liked it. There was a balance among the flavours and the staff had made it a little bit spicy upon my request. Though the overall taste was nice, I am sorry to admit that some meat pieces tasted a bit raw and undercooked. I also had the popular Thai beer Singha!

Although reviews are good but I find it overrated. Not at all authentic Thai curry the consistency of curry was not good maybe they were out of coconut milk. Below average taste, not a good experience.

Sehr gutes und authentisches Thai-Essen. Nachdem ich aus dem Thailand Urlaub gekommen bin, habe ich nach einem guten Thailänder gesucht, wo ich genauso leckeres Essen kann, als ich in Thailand war. Und es war sooooo lecker. Vor allem das Pad Ka Prao, das schmeckte wirklich gut. Der Preis war auch total fair und sehr freundliches Personal.

Sehr leckeres und meiner Meinung nach authentisches Thai Restaurant. Personal ist nett und aufmerksam. Wer keine Lust mehr auf die üblichen 0185 Glutamat Asia Gerichte hat, ist hier genau richtig. Sitzplätze begrenzt.

Sehr gutes Thai-Restaurant in Bremen! Speisekarte vorbildlich mit Bildern und einfach gestaltet, die Vorspeise war besonders lecker und authentisch, preislich daher auch nicht günstig. Dafür große Portion bei der Vorspeise! Hauptgerichte lecker und super zubereitet, aber haben wir tatsächlich schon besser gegessen, dennoch gut! Getränkeauswahl super, besonders der Thai Tee war sehr lecker und nicht zu süß. Auch die Limo mit Melone war lecker. Preislich alles völlig in Ordnung bei der Qualität, Hauptgerichte gibt es für 15 Euro, es gibt aber auch eine Karte mit Gerichten um die 40 Euro, die wir nicht probiert haben. Tipp: Wer richtig scharf mag sollte das sagen und nach richtig Thai verlangen, für deutsche wird es in der Regel nicht Original gemacht! Personal war insgesamt gut, aber hätte freundlicher sein können. Dazu Bezahlung per Karte nur mit EC-Karte möglich, da altes Gerät, sollte mal umgestellt werden... Ambiente ganz nett gestaltet und gepflegt, Lokal ist recht klein. Zentral in der Stadt gelegen, gut erreichbar.

Super nette Bedienung und authentische Thai-Küche, weitab von den hier in der Gegend üblichen Glutamatmassakern. Die Karte ist sehr klein, dafür aber sehr gut. Es gibt nur wenig Sitzplätze, da brauch man manchmal Glück oder auch etwas Wartezeit. Lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall !

Das beste Thai-Restaurant in ganz Bremen. Der Service ist on Top, der Inhaber ist Bodenständig und sehr Gastfreundlich. Das Essen kommt schnell, heiß und ist äußerst köstlich. Ich empfehle jedem einen Besuch hier.

Super leckeres essen! Geschmäcker waren klasse abgestimmt und die Speisen gut gewürzt. Nicht zu scharf aber auch nicht die typisch milde deutsche Schärfe. Die Portionen machen Satt und die Preise sind fair. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich, die Speisen kamen nach nicht allzulanger Wartezeit an den Tisch. Das Restaurant ist recht klein, zwischen 20 und 30 Sitzplätze, aber gemütlich - wir hatten Glück dass wir ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen haben, kurz nach unserer Ankunft wurde der Laden voll (ca 19Uhr). Das Ambiente könnte etwas aufpoliert werden, trotzdem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich freue mich, dass ich nach Jahren dieses Restaurant wiederentdeckt habe. Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, die Räumlichkeiten sehr angenehm, gemütlich, aber nicht "überladen oder plüschig". Die Sanitärräume sind neu renoviert und sauber. Und das Wichtigste, das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker. Mein nächster Besuch wird nicht so lange auf sich warten lassen.

Klein, Atmosphäre solala!!! Gemüsecurry war gut, Preis 13 € fair. Glasnudelsalat mit Meeresfrüchten für 35 € dagegen hat nicht überzeugt.

Schönes kleines Restaurant. Ist schon recht authentisch und hat auch thailändische Gäste. Wer jedoch schon mal Thailand genauer erkundet hat, der weiß, dass es natürlich noch besser geht. Aber das ist schon eine Kritik auf hohem Niveau :)

Unterwegs auf Geschäftsreise wollte ich authentisches Thai Food probieren. Der Papayasalat transportiert einen geschmacklich aber auch vom Schärfegrad (Achtung) direkt nach Thailand. Anschließend hatte ich das Grüne Curry mit Hähnchen. Auch hier geschmacklich sehr gut, jedoch hat mir die Thai-Aubergine gefehlt (ggf. z.Z. nicht zu beziehen). Abgerundet wurden Vor- und Hauptspeise von einem Singha.

Mehr aus Zufall in dem Lokal, Thailändische Küche, einfach mal probieren. Die Auswahl ist überschaubar aber es fehlt an nichts. Es gibt Fleisch und Fischgerichte sowie auch vegetarische. Die Speisen sind würzig und lecker. Die Damen vor Ort sind sehr emsig und freundlich.

Wir sind eigentlich aus Versehen über das Restaurant gestolpert. Meeega! Zuerst dachten wir es wäre nur so ein kleines Imbisstübchen aber weit gefehlt! Wir waren zunächst die einzigen Europäer, was schon mal sehr für das Restaurant spricht. Das Essen war sooo lecker! Wir haben extra scharf bestellt aber bitte- wenn ihr das nicht ernst meint dann macht das bitte nicht! Es war super scharf und deshalb ganz nach unserem Geschmack! Die Kellnerin war super freundlich, stets present und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Authentisches Restaurant mit mega leckerem Essen😋 Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Kleines und sehr gemütliches Thai Restaurant in der Innenstadt. Alles ist sehr sauber und auch die Toiletten sind 1A. Die Speisekarte ist optimal, nicht überladen und es gibt eine vernünftige Auswahl an leckeren Speisen. Kleine Extrawünsche (meine Freundin wollte ihr Essen komplett ohne Pfeffer, Chilli und Paprika) werden freundlich aufgenommen und auch zur vollen Zufriedenheit umgesetzt, das ist auch ein Zeichen dafür, dass alles frisch zubereitet wird. Die Portionen sind anständig und es war wirklich super lecker. Kartenzahlung war auch ohne Probleme möglich. Ich werde dort auf jeden Fall wieder essen gehen und meine Freunde waren auch positiv überzeugt und möchten ebenfalls wiederkommen. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung, weiter so :)

Please read the following review as well as the restaurant's response (latest review updated on 30.12.2022) I am reviewing this from their Restuarant now and we just finished our nice meal (you can see the pic below). The food was really nice and we did enjoyed it. However, what we didn’t like was how they treated the customer. For instance, we are vegetarian and we ordered a soup which has a shrimp inside. She said that she can do any food we want without meat inside. But she didn’t removed the shrimps inside the soup. Once we realized, we told them and her attitude towards us was not nice. I honestly enjoyed the food but she kinda spoiled my night with her impolite gesture. I mean, anyone can make a mistake but at least be nice especially when you talk to the customer. We never wanted our money back or something, we just told what we felt. The least thing one can do is be nice to the customer, I hope they treat customer well next time. Ambiente ist okay, dafür das Essen sehr gut und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Für vegane oder vegetarische Option sollte man vielleicht extra Bescheid geben, es ist wohl einiges oder quasi alles mit Fischsauce zubereitet.

Bestes hänchencurry was ich seit langem hatte. Der Service auch eine 10/10. Jeder der in bremen ist muss dort einmal gewesen sein.

Ein Familienbetrieb, was in der heutigen Zeit für mich ein absoluter Vorteil ist. Eben einmal nicht die Massenware in den Buffetrestaurants. Sehr liebevoll bereitetes Essen mit frischen Zutaten und geschmacklich sehr gut. Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man von kleinen Defiziten bei der Einrichtung und Ausstattung absieht. Wir kommen wieder!

Freundliche Bedienung. Klein und gemütlich. Einige Thais waren hier essen, was immer ein gutes Zeichen ist! Grünes Curry für die hier erhältlichen Zutaten echt gut.

Ein kleines, von Außen unscheinbares Restaurant mit einer übersichtlichen Speisekarte. Es scheint ein Familienunternehmen zu sein. Wir haben dort die beste gebackene Ente unseres Lebens [ Ende 60] zu essen bekommen, und das zu einem unschlagbaren Preis. Eigentlich dürfte ich das hier gar nicht anpreisen,[ wenig Sitzplätze] haltet uns bitte 2 Plätze frei. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
