It was nice, value for money was right. The service is nice and friendly. We will be back. Or order and collect. The duck is super tasty. There is also the option to drink cocktails.

We called for reservation a few hours before visiting on a Saturday. Although we got there late there were still available seats (so not as busy as we thought). We ordered the tom yang gung, papaya salad and green curry. The dishes were quite salty (but in general I find food in Germany quite salty), especially the tom yang gung (very flavorful). The papaya salad and the green curry were good level of spice. Overall, the food lack a bit of sourness as one would find in traditional Thai cuisine. Lastly, just a side note — the food left us quite thirsty! The restaurant itself has nice interior design with a relaxing ambience.

We used to enjoy eating at Baan Thai, but unfortunately the restaurant is very old, the portions of the dishes have been halved (disguised with a salad garnish) and the prices, in contrast, have doubled. To make matters worse, the taste of the food has changed for the worse. It now tastes a lot like flavor enhancers. I ordered a plum wine, after I took out the lychee there really weren't two sips in the glass, which is a complete rip off considering the price. What really makes me sad is that the wait staff, including the boss, have become really annoyed and unfriendly. Almost condescending. We really had the feeling that we were a nuisance. I have to write this with a heavy heart, the current cuisine can now only compete with a good Asian snack bar. I'd rather go to a competitor in the city, where I can get portions that are filling for the money and I'll be served with a smile on my face. Unfortunately, Baan Thai has lost me as a regular customer.

My favorite Thai...great location, delicious food, friendly service. Can't be topped anywhere! Always a pleasure!

Very authentic Thai cuisine, with a friendly welcome, and lots of delicacies. It was my first time there and I was impressed as soon as I entered the restaurant. The prices and the quantity you receive are absolutely top. Definitely recommended

It's a great restaurant and you feel like you're on vacation. There could be a little more vegetarian choice and unfortunately the portions have become smaller over the years. Everything is very tasty and fully recommended.

Overall we were very satisfied. The food was very good and plentiful. But one thing we didn't understand was that we had to pay an extra 2 euros for the leftover rice that we took with us. I always thought that what wasn't eaten would be thrown away. Or not?

Just like a Thai should taste. Authentic, spicy, good and plentiful. A huge compliment to the service. Incredibly sweet, nice and accommodating. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. We were here with a group (14 people), we were here for a good 4 hours, it was nice! There was also vegetarian dishes to eat from to..., everyone was happy. Staff nice and friendly! Came regularly and asked if anything else was wanted. From cocktails to Thai beer. See you next time!

The best Thai here in Osnabrück and the surrounding area. The food is awesome. The service was super friendly. Even on the phone to reserve a table. We'll be back at the beginning of March to celebrate my birthday comfortably. We're really looking forward to it. Table reservations are required as it is always busy. The atmosphere is very cozy. Parking directly behind the restaurant. All in all 10 out of 10 points.

Very conservative/defensive order. But if you look at the "foreign" plates, the taste of your own food and the occupancy... Go again, order more exotic and be braver. In terms of feeling, it will be worth it.

Das Restaurant wurde uns sehr empfohlen. Der Empfehlung folgend haben wir für Sonntagabend reserviert, sind rechtzeitig hingefahren - und dann: Dann sind wir wegen fehlender Barrierefreiheit aufgrund des völlig zugeparkten Eingangsbereiches nicht hineingekommen. Für mobilitätsbeeinträchtigte Menschen kein Durchkommen. Schade, sehr schade😥 (Da den Betreibern das Fehlverhalten mancher Gäste nur bedingt vorgeworfen werden kann, gebe ich vier Sterne. Vielleicht hätte es ja wirklich geschmeckt.)

Wir sind absolut begeistert und werden wieder kommen! An einem Samstagabend auf der Durchreise sind wir beim Restaurant vorbei gekommen und haben noch einen Tisch bekommen, obwohl es rappel voll war. Das Personal war sehr höflich. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen kleinen Aperitif (für uns sogar extra alkoholfrei). Unser Essen bekamen wir schnell und es hat sehr köstlich und frisch geschmeckt. Von innen ist das Restaurant sehr schön eingerichtet, so dass eine warme Atmosphäre entsteht. Insgesamt waren wir sehr positiv überrascht und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch!

Das war - Dank an meine lieben Tipp-Geber 😉 - ein außergewöhnlicher und ganz hervorragender Abend, mit sehr (!) leckeren Speisen, sehr freundlichen Bedienungen und Inhabern und nicht zuletzt das alles in außergewöhnlich angenehmer Atmosphäre. Hier kann man einen Abend lang in einer andere Welt eintauchen, träumen, sich berühren und auch zu sehr appetitlich Speisen verführen lassen! Ich liebe dieses Restaurant. Wir fahren gern 45 Min um die leckeren Gerichte genießen zu dürfen. Die Leute sind sehr sehr nett. Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl dort u das Essen schmeckt wirklich außerordentlich gut👍

Die Bedienung ist eher unsympathisch und sehr ungeduldig. Das Fleischgericht war OK, aber nicht berauschend. Das vegetarische Gericht war simpelst paniertes Rohgemüse einfach frittiert. Die Soße schmeckte ähnlich wie die aus dem Supermarkt. Keine Empfehlung :-/

Egal wann man dort hingeht, es ist immer alles super. Leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung und eine tolle Umgebung!

Das Essen war in Ordnung bis gut. Leider fehlte dem Service die thailändische Freundlichkeit. Kein Lächeln - das Essen wurde mit Aufrufen der Nummer auf den Tisch gestellt - fertig. Das Ambiente war zwar recht angenehm, aber die Luft war sehr abgestanden. Nach so vielen Jahren wäre evtl. eine vernünftige Lüftungsanlage nicht schlecht.

Immer wieder gerne!! Tolles Restaurant, gehen dort schon seit Jahren essen und wurden noch nicht enttäuscht. Immer nettes Personal und Essen seit Jahren, gleichermaßen super!!

Wir hatten das Menü für 2 Personen, bei dem wir aus 4 köstlichen Gerichten auswählen konnten. Ehrlich gesagt, war das Essen der Hammer! Die Geschmacksrichtungen waren super und haben uns wirklich umgehauen. Das Restaurant selbst hat eine tolle Atmosphäre. Die Einrichtung ist authentisch und es fühlt sich gemütlich an. Insgesamt war es ein perfektes Abendessen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, und wenn du Thai-Essen magst, solltest du diesem Restaurant definitiv einen Besuch abstatten. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Waren gestern dort zum Essen. Es war sehr voll aber alles sehr gut organisiert im Service. Das Essen, hatte eine Suppe vorweg und Ente im Hauptgang waren sehr lecker. Bin immer wieder gerne dort, rundum stimmt alles.

Leckeres Essen, viel Auswahl und sau lecker, sehr schönes Ambiente und ein guter und netter Service, da dort immer viel los ist sollte man auch für 2 Personen einen Tisch vorher reservieren, wir waren an einem Montag Abend zu zweit dort und haben warten müssen bis ein Tisch frei wurde, weil es voll war. Nach kurzer Wartezeit war alles super und es wurde ein schöner Abend!😊👍
