B-Gourmet Japanische Delikatessen in Frankfurt am Main

The food here is incredibly delicious. Authentic Japanese, high quality, and Japanese hospitality. I love coming here. Highly recommended: the vinegared mackerel and karaage with any sauce! The drinks are perfectly paired with the food. All in all, a very pleasant restaurant.

A stylish little Japanese izakaya restaurant in Nordend. The main focus is on donburi bowls, which are offered in a variety of delicious versions with meat, fish, and vegetables. The service is friendly and, especially at lunchtime, very fast.

The quality of rice and karaage varies from visit to visit, but the last visit was particularly delicious. We hope this level can be maintained.

Tastes exactly like in Japan, but unfortunately costs four times as much. It's actually a poor man's meal, but with the running costs in Frankfurt, even that becomes a bit expensive. The chicken is nice and juicy, just like you'd expect from Asia. Tastes exactly like golden curry (mild) with a little twist from the secret ingredient :P Thanks for the experience... but I'll probably continue to recapture Japan through my own cooking. So, Japanese people won't be happy here, they'll just get homesick.

Quaint little nook, food was good- simple and hearty. Didn’t mind the wait at all. Gerne wieder!

Finally, we went to the “real Japanese” restaurant in our neighborhood. Delicious and great service – we’ll be back (or pick up or order…)

We had the karaage with wasabi fries and the Gyu Don rice bowl. Unfortunately, neither was really to our liking. The chicken pieces were quite soft and unfortunately cold, and the wasabi fries were essentially wedges (frozen?) with wasabi mayo (which was really tasty). Overall, the bowl wasn't convincing in terms of taste; it simply lacked flavor. Lots of rice and, unfortunately, quite small.

I ordered the Karaage Don today for €16 – what arrived was a complete disappointment. As you can see in the picture, the dish consisted of four tiny pieces of meat. The value for money is simply outrageous. For €16, you expect at least a decent portion. I honestly don't understand the many positive reviews – my experience wasn't good. Unfortunately, never again.

The Gyu Don was very good and authentic!😋 Just like Yoshinoya in Japan. However, the bubbles (Tapioca Pearls) in the milk tea weren’t cooked through. They were really hard. The staff kindly made me a second one. It was tiny bit better but the bubbles were undercooked - lack the nice chewy texture. At the end, they didn’t charge me for that and I thought that was very considerate. 🙂

An unexpectedly pleasant evening! We dropped in here without plans — and immediately felt like welcome guests. The staff is so warm and attentive that it seems like we've known each other for ages. And the food! Delicious to the last crumb, especially in such a cozy atmosphere. We had a lot of fun — now we dream of coming back again. A place where everyone is welcome. We'll definitely repeat!

Mackerel as a starter and a beef bowl with egg as a main course. Simply fantastic! The main course can come a little later if you're not too keen on having both served at the same time.

I've been to Baku Baku / Matcha Matcha Tokyo twice now, and my second visit was definitely better than the first. Although the service was consistently friendly, the first visit with the Matcha Basque Cheesecake and the Milk Tea was disappointing. The cheesecake had hardly any flavor, and the Milk Tea was quite bland. The second time, however, the Matcha Parfait was truly delicious! Unfortunately, it became a bit dry towards the middle of the glass – there was a lack of cream or ice cream to balance out the crispy flakes. Nevertheless, it was a highlight, as matcha parfait is hard to find outside of Japan. The spicy Karaage Don was also very tasty. A little more sauce on the rice – especially further down – would have made it even better, though. Overall, the food was exceptionally tasty and very well-executed. And the café itself has a wonderfully relaxed, cozy atmosphere, which I really like. I'll definitely be back!

BakuBaku is Oishii Oishii For the Japan lover in Frankfurt. Delicious dishes, great ambience and nice service. And you can even sit in a small washitsu (Japanese room), WITHOUT shoes of course! 😉

We just had a few quick starters (because unfortunately there wasn't much time) and it was all great and prepared with love. The service was very quick and helpful. Definitely made me want to come back again.

A charming, hidden Japanese restaurant with a small terrace. The menu is clear and offers some unusual dishes that you won't find everywhere. Unfortunately, the Don dishes at the end of the menu are shown a little too small, making them difficult to read. I tried the Curry Don. The sauce was very tasty, but I found the meat to be a bit tough and fatty - it seemed as if more fat had been used than meat. The service was extremely friendly.

Absolute impudence. We only waited 15 minutes on a quiet Sunday afternoon for our order to be taken. Then a drink was forgotten and a dish was made wrong. The drink was also forgotten at the next table. What was not said about the rice gratin was that it takes a long time to prepare. So some of us ate while I waited. Sometimes we were just completely without service in the restaurant for a while. That was definitely our last visit, even though it was tasty. :( Everything took forever and was just annoying.

No one ever greeted me as friendly as the staff at this place did. I appreciate it very much. Thank you, I had a rough week. Everything tasted amazing. I recommend this place if you are sad and need a meal that heals your heart.

The donburi might be a little bigger but they are delicious. The karaage in particular were delicious and crispy.

Modern and cozy Japanese street-food restaurant. The service is very kind and the food is affordable and amazing. There are several big main dishes but there is also the possibility of trying many small starters and getting a taste of everything. Although I didn’t try sake, they seem to have a varied selection. A hidden gem in Frankfurt!

Nice Japanese restaurant with an international flair.

The marinated chicken in the karaage has a strong wine flavor, and those who like it will like it very much. The fried shell is very crispy, and you won’t feel greasy even if you eat the whole chicken skin. Don’t expect the spicy karaage you ordered, but it is very tasty, which is enough for a Japanese restaurant. ​ ​The oysters used in the oyster risotto are small oysters, which are fully cooked but not greasy. They are well processed and have no fishy smell. When you first eat it, you can even taste the crab meat😃. ​ ​With yuzuka soda, you can relieve the greasiness of the cheese risotto.

We came here spontaneously on a Saturday evening and were lucky that a table had just become available. A reservation is definitely worth it. We ordered several starters, all of which tasted good. Shime Saba is particularly recommended. I had a drink with pickled plums which tasted very interesting and delicious.

In Stuttgart there is a Baku Baku where I ate for the first time. I'm not normally a person who writes reviews, but I was so impressed by it that I actually wrote a lot. And this time too nothing has changed in Frankfurt! Ambience is absolutely great, the food is more than just good, it is incredibly authentic and impresses me every time! I would recommend everyone to come and try it out for yourself. You will quickly become a regular customer. The prices are absolutely amazing for the food.

I have been to Bakubaku in Stuttgart before and left a particularly good impression. This time when I went to Frankfurt, I learned that there was also a bakubaku and decided to visit again. The bakubaku in Frankfurt is different from the family-style interior of Stuttgart, but it is still very warm and atmospheric, and the food is delicious.

I had very good Japanese food at frankfurt ~ I ordered rice bowl! The portion is huge ~ delicious! I ordered spicy octopus balls! Sweet and spicy sauce is ok, but not much octopus.

Best Karaage and Katsu in Frankfurt!

Absolutely incomprehensible activity about UberEat. Order had to be adjusted due to a dish being sold out, which is still acceptable. 10 minutes after the phone call, the entire order was suddenly canceled without comment. When asked by telephone, the situation could not be understood at all. It was even claimed that the store didn't deliver at all. So we waited over an hour for nothing. Post or work on your activity on delivery services. Update: after visiting the store again, I was very satisfied with the food. Clear recommendation!

While visiting Frankfurt, I stopped in for some spicy karage don. Enjoyed the service and ambiance, simple and fast. I found the karage don to be flavorful with a good kick and the battered chicken was golden brown and crispy.

The service is great, but unfortunately the food is just average. Lots of dry rice in the bowls with a little topping. For a review you show you get a free drink.
