Wir wurden in dem Restaurant, in dem nur zwei Tische besetzt waren, unhöflich behandelt, weil wir zehn Minuten zu spät zu unserer Reservierung erschienen. Das Essen war lieblos zubereitet. Einige Gerichte waren schon lange zubereitet und schmeckten abgestanden. Die Sojasauce war viel zu viel und durch den hohen Salzgehalt unangenehm. Die Preise waren für ein Lokal, in dem nur Küchenpersonal arbeitete, überhöht. Die Küche wirkte von außen extrem unorganisiert.

Ich habe das Restaurant nun zweimal besucht, da ich mich gerne durch verschiedene Ramen-Läden probiere. Hier ist mein persönlicher Eindruck: Vorspeise: Das Karaage war optisch sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Geschmacklich blieb es für mich jedoch hinter den Erwartungen zurück, da ihm die typische Marinade (z. B. Sojasauce/Ingwer) fehlte und es mich von Textur und Geschmack an Standard-Convenience-Produkte erinnerte. Für 6–7 Euro hätte ich mir hier mehr geschmackliche Tiefe und Eigenregie erhofft. Ramen: Probiert wurden die Tonkotsu und die Tantanmen. Die Basis der Tonkotsu war angenehm cremig und gut ankonsistent, allerdings für meinen Geschmack so stark versalzen, dass der Durst noch Stunden anhielt. Bei den Tantanmen fehlten mir persönlich die charakteristischen Komponenten: Ich konnte weder Schärfe noch eine nussige Note wahrnehmen, stattdessen dominierte eine für mich unerwartete, säuerliche Note. Die Nudeln hatten einen hervorragenden Biss und waren geschmacklich top. Die Beilagen überzeugten mich leider weniger: Das Ei war sehr hart gekocht und die Bambussprossen hatten einen leicht seifigen Beigeschmack. Preise & Fazit: Die Preise liegen bei den Ramen zwischen 13–18 Euro, eine kleine Cola kostet 4 Euro. Beides bezieht sich auf die rabattierten Preise am Terminal. Das bewegt sich trotz Rabatt im gehobenen Vergleich. Gemessen an den handwerklichen Schwächen bei den Brühen und Beilagen sowie dem Eindruck, dass teilweise auf Fertigkomponenten zurückgegriffen wird, stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für mich persönlich hier leider nicht.

Ihr seid ja „schräg drauf.“ (Ursprünglich „Vögel“) Eine Freundin wollte für 8 Personen reservieren und war noch nie bei euch. Weil man Online bei euch nur für 6 Personen reservieren kann rief sie kurz an um zu fragen ob auch 8 gehen, worauf hin sie von eurem Service super unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass Ihr nur 6 Personen zulasst und die 7. und 8. Person auch einfach rausschmeissen würdet wenns zu voll ist. Es ist 1. völlig normal kurz anzurufen und zu fragen und kein Grund, aggressiv zu werden. 2. völlig normal auch mal zu 8 essen zu gehen, darauf kann man als Gastro in Ulm auch vorbereitet sein. 3. Wenn Ihr öfter Anfragen für 6+ Personen bekommt und es euch nervt das Leute euer Essen gut finden, solltet Ihr euch überlegen auch Reservationen über 8 Personen zu ermöglichen oder freundlicher absagen. Wir werden jetzt den Rat eurer Servicekraft befolgen und zum „Spanier“ gehen statt zu euch. Die freuen sich nämlich auf uns. Nachtrag zu eurem Kommentar: Das mit dem „Vögel“ habt Ihr durch eure unfreundliche Art provoziert, unsere Freundin wollte ja initial bei Euch essen weil wir Euch Ihr empfohlen haben. Falls euch „Vögel“ tatsächlich beleidigt nehme ich deine Kritik gerne an und ändere das. Beleidigen wollte ich niemanden, wir sind doch alle Ulmer Spatzen. Kann eure Situation schon verstehen, ist nicht leicht gerade, alle sind immer genervt und kritisch. Aber unfreundlich sein kommt leider auch nicht gut an. Vielleicht wird es bald wieder besser und die Sonne scheint wieder mehr

Erst mal zum positiven: das Ambiente ist richtig schön und die Musik (Kpop) hat mir auch gefallen. Leider waren die Ramen überhaupt nicht mein Geschmack. Die Brühe (Tantan) schmeckte überhaupt nicht gut sondern war seltsamerweise total sauer (obwohl in Tantanmen nichts Saures drin ist). Sesam hab ich auch nicht rausgeschmeckt, da das saure sehr dominant war. Die Rameneier waren super hart gekocht. Die Hühncheneinlage war ok, aber es waren einfach die identischen frittierten Kaarage, die ich auch zur Vorspeise hatte. Hab die Ramen leider zur Hälfte stehen lassen, mein Freund wollte sie leider auch nicht.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter:innen, das vorneweg. Aber: Brühe komplett versalzen (ja Shoyu soll salzig sein, aber sicher nicht auf Brechreizlevel), die Abbildungen am Bestellterminal stimmen teilweise nicht mit den Produkten überein und für den Preis sind die Portionen wirklich klein.

Eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Bei rund 30 € pro Person erwartet man einen gewissen Standard, aber dieses Restaurant hat unsere Erwartungen in keiner Weise erfüllt. Wir bestellten Gyoza als Vorspeise, und diese waren verbrannt. Ich verstehe ehrlich gesagt nicht, wie eine Küche es verantworten kann, einem zahlenden Gast verbranntes Essen zu servieren. Wir hofften, die Ramen würden das wieder wettmachen, aber sie waren genauso schlecht. Die Brühe – das Aushängeschild jeder guten Ramen – war ungenießbar und völlig geschmacklos. Zu allem Überfluss war das Fleisch praktisch ungenießbar. Für diesen Preis ist die Qualitätskontrolle inakzeptabel.

Schönes kleines Restaurant mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Es gibt sogar eine traditionelle japanische Sitzecke und als Anime-Fan hatte ich viel Spaß dabei, die vielen kleinen Anspielungen und Easter Eggs im Restaurant zu entdecken. Positiv: - Die Bestellung erfolgt über einen Selbstbedienungsautomaten. Das mag man oder eben nicht. Ich persönlich fand es ganz lustig und unkompliziert. Wir hatten allerdings Glück, da kurz nach uns eine Gruppe von etwa 10 Personen hereinkam. Gerade bei größerem Andrang kann die Bestellung dadurch etwas mehr Zeit in Anspruch nehmen. - Die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg sehr freundlich. Negativ: Da ich sehr gerne Ramen esse und versuche, jedes Ramen-Restaurant zwischen Stuttgart und Ulm auszuprobieren, war ich vom Essen leider ziemlich enttäuscht. - Wir hatten die Shoyu- und die Miso-Ramen. Die Brühe war bei beiden Gerichten deutlich zu salzig und hat dadurch die übrigen Aromen überdeckt. - Auch die Nudeln konnten leider nicht überzeugen. Neben der Brühe sind sie das Herzstück einer guten Ramen, waren hier jedoch noch leicht hart und geschmacklich eher unspektakulär. - Die Beilagen waren insgesamt recht überschaubar. - Auch das Ajitsuke Tamago war letztlich nur ein gewöhnliches gekochtes Ei und nicht das würzig marinierte Ramen-Ei, das man normalerweise erwartet. - Das Restaurant könnte außerdem eine Reinigung vertragen. Die Tische waren nicht vollständig sauber und in mehreren Bereichen fiel uns recht viel Staub auf. - Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt war die Wartezeit. Wir mussten fast 45 Minuten auf unsere Ramen warten. In keinem anderen Ramen-Restaurant habe ich bisher so lange auf mein Essen gewartet. Da wir anschließend noch einen Zug erreichen mussten, war das zusätzlich etwas ärgerlich. Preislich wären die Ramen durchaus in Ordnung gewesen, wenn die Qualität geschmacklich überzeugt hätte. Insgesamt ist es ein charmantes kleines Restaurant mit viel Potenzial, freundlichem Service und einer schönen Atmosphäre. Leider konnte uns ausgerechnet der wichtigste Punkt – die Ramen selbst – nicht überzeugen. Sehr schade, denn der Laden hätte definitiv das Potenzial, etwas Besonderes zu sein.

Wollten hier essen und wurden um 20 Uhr aus einem halb leeren Restaurant geschickt. Die Begründung: „know your limits“. Ich habe auch in der Gastro gearbeitet und wer seine Gäste so rausschickt weil er Putzen muss, sollte seine Mitarbeiter Struktur stark überdenken.

Minimalistisch, cool eingerichteter Laden mit Selbstbedienungsterminals zum Bestellen von Getränken und Speisen. Personal ausschließlich hinter der Theke, aber sehr freundlich. Wir waren zu viert dort zum Essen. Die Bilder der einzelnen Speisen auf dem Terminal sehen super ansprechend und lecker aus, was wir dann allerdings bekamen, wich doch stark von den Bildern ab. Auf Nachfrage, bei der Abholung meiner Speise an der Theke, wo der Brokkoli in meiner Speise sein sollte, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass dieser bereits im Essen vermischt ist. Dem war leider nicht so! Auch die anderen drei Speisen hielten nicht das, was wir eigentlich erwartet hatten.

Der Eingang wirkt unscheinbar und kann leicht Übersehen werden. Eine schmale Tür mitten in einem Hauserblock. Nur eine kleine Speisekarte ist an der Wand zu erkennen. Das Restaurant befindet sich im ersten Obergeschoss und man wird so begrüßt, wie man es auch in vielen Restaurants aus Japan kennt: Es stehen zwei Bestellautomaten bereit, bei denen man einfach und völlig unkompliziert sein Essen bestellen kann. Ebenso bestellt man hier seine Getränke, die aus dem Kühlschrank, welcher daneben steht, entnommen werden können. Danach sucht man sich einen Platz aus. Entweder klassisch auf Stühlen oder (natürlich Barfuß ihr Banausen!) auf einer Tatamimatte. Es dauert zirka 10-30 Minuten, bis einem der Signalgeber signalisiert, dass das Essen bereit ist. Daraufhin geht man zum Eingangsbereich und empfängt seine Schüsseln direkt aus der Küche. So, wie es typisch ist. Verwöhnte Menschen werden hier bereits nörgeln. Das Essen schmeckt für seinen Preis entsprechend gut und würde frisch zubereitet. Beide er Soße merkt man aber einen hohen Salzgehalt, was auf "Fertigsoßen" vermuten lässt, die aber gut verfeinert wurden. Die Gyoza waren ebenfalls gut, aber auch hier vermute ich, ein fertiges Produkt, welches aufgewärmt und verfeinert wurde. Alles in allem, hat mir das Restaurant dennoch sehr gut gefallen und liefert in meinen Augen ein besseres Preis / Leistungsverhältnis, als das Rahmenrestaurant ganz in der Nähe.

Leider haben wir keine gute Erfahrung gemacht. Wir haben 40 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet und hatten dementsprechend auch Erwartungen. Die Brühe war bei meiner Freundin einfach nur Wasser mit etwas fischigem Geschmack. Meins hat komplett verbrannt geschmeckt. Als hätte man den Grill gereinigt und als Suppe weiterverkauft. Ich hab wirklich noch nie so schlecht gegessen. Auf zwang etwas gegessen damit es ums Geld nicht schade ist. Aber insgesamt sehr sehr enttäuschend!

Das Restaurant befindet sich im 1. Stock und sieht ästhetisch sehr vielversprechend aus. Leider mussten wir dann über 45 Minuten auf unser Essen warten und die Bedienung war auch nicht sehr motiviert. Viele Tische waren am warten oder hatten nur 1 Teller auf dem Tisch. Das Essen sah dann zwar sehr lecker aus, aber die Brühe war leider versalzen, die Nudeln überkocht und das Fleisch etwas zäh. Alles in Allem ein entäuschender Abend

Sehr leckeres Essen bei schönem Ambiente. Die Selbstbedienung an den Terminals macht es für Neulinge einfacher, Gerichte sind bereits visuell beim Bestellvorgang dargestellt. Bei Stoßzeiten sollte man Zeit mitbringen, da das bestellen an den zwei Terminals etwas dauert.

Leider enttäuschend, man muss wie bei Mc Donalds an dem Schalter ordern - es gibt dabei 20% Rabatt?! Ebenso waren die Ramen lauwarm anstelle von heiß…. Von originalen traditionellen Ramen weit entfernt, das einzig traditionelle ist der Tisch zum auf dem Boden sitzen. Da gehe ich lieber in ein schnell Restaurant wo ich etwas Service habe und weis das mein Essen so schmeckt wie es sollte … sehr schade… Kellnerin war freundlich

Ich hatte mich darauf gefreut den Laden aus zu probieren, war das ersten mal hier und siehe an... der laden ist voll, immer paarweiße Leute aber das beste daran ist, immer nur einen Teller auf den Tisch. Meine freundin hat ihren Essen bekommen nach 30 min, ich nach 1 Stunde. Habe mich natürlich geärgert und als ich aufstehen wollte habe gesehen das nicht einen Tisch alle bestellungen hatten. Jeder aus den Laden hat das Essen einzeln bekommen, und der partner 30 min verspätet. 15€ für ne Suppe und dann sowas. Ich schiebe es einfach mal auf unsere Geselschaft, wir werdem immer schlechter im allen. Das ist ein gutes Konzept, leider schlechtes Managing. Anfänger...

An sich ein wirklich cooles Konzept, aber meiner Meinung nach nicht gut genug umgesetzt. Ich war inzwischen zum zweiten Mal dort und hatte wieder ähnliche Eindrücke: Die Ramen waren nur lauwarm und die Tische erneut nicht sauber. Außerdem habe ich rund eine halbe Stunde auf meine Suppe gewartet. Das Holzbesteck finde ich persönlich etwas unhygienisch und würde mir hier eine Alternative wünschen. Alles Punkte, die sich meiner Meinung nach leicht verbessern lassen. Ich hoffe, dass hier in Zukunft nachgebessert wird.

I'd like to share my experience at Ayumi, without passing judgment on the restaurant; everyone has to decide for themselves. My train was delayed, it was lunchtime, and since I don't like fast food, I specifically looked for ramen near the main train station. Searched, found. There was no real wait for lunch, and it was generally very quiet. Since Ayumi is self-service only, that was the first disappointment, as I expect some service at those prices. There's a very nice selection; there's definitely something for everyone. I really like chashu, so I opted for the Akira Lunch Menu with extra toppings. Basically, the ramen is good, served in a rich and flavorful broth, BUT the toppings are, in my opinion, of inferior quality. Most of the toppings have a very strong, overpowering flavor, especially the bell peppers, bean sprouts, and eggs. The bell peppers definitely came from a jar and weren't crisp, with a strong vinegar aftertaste. The bean sprouts were similar. The eggs were so heavily marinated in soy sauce that it overpowered everything else. It's a shame, really, because the basics were good. The trays looked very dirty, and the napkin and cutlery were in a hygienically questionable wrapper that had probably never been cleaned. By the way, openly sympathizing with Antifa in a restaurant leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be going back. Enjoy, everyone else.

Let's start with the good things: the waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the food was unfortunately some of the worst we've ever had. Unless, of course, you're looking for noodles that taste like horse meat. Compared to other Asian restaurants, the noodles were incredibly bland for the price, and the rest of the meal smelled and tasted like a horse farm. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially since the location itself is very nice.

Update: Ich war seitdem noch dreimal in dem Restaurant. Jedes Mal wurde es schlimmer – das Essen sieht überhaupt nicht mehr so aus wie auf den Fotos. Alles läuft nur noch über Selbstbedienung. Beim letzten Besuch mussten wir sogar auf Gläser warten, weil diese erst gespült werden mussten. Sogar das Menü hat sich verändert. Mein letzter Besuch war wirklich enttäuschend. Sehr schade, denn ich mochte dieses Restaurant früher sehr gerne.

We were here last September and absolutely loved it, so on our trip to Ulm today, we naturally thought we'd eat here again. That was the biggest mistake ever. When we arrived, a few tables were occupied, and the free ones were filthy. You can only order at the kiosk, and you have to get your own drinks. The staff were only in the kitchen, complaining about the guests (quote: "The whole table ordered eggs, have I mentioned I hate people?") – and so loudly that I heard them while getting drinks. When our food finally arrived after a 30-minute wait, it looked completely unappealing, and even though we had opted out of bamboo shoots, there were piles of them on both ramen buns. When I spoke to the woman in the kitchen about it, she said, "Yes, I already had them in there and couldn't fish them all out, but there were only a few, and they were on one side." The only thing they could do was make new ramen. I replied that we didn't have time for that and asked if there was an alternative. She said no and either we had to make new ramen or eat it as is. Without offering us a free appetizer or a drink, for example. Then we took out the bean sprouts, and there were more than just a few. And if you realize while you're making it, "Oops, they didn't want bean sprouts," then you should just make it again! Rude, it didn't taste anything like last time, and spending that much money on it is outrageous. We're definitely never coming back!

The service was great. Friendly, quick, and attentive. The atmosphere was also cozy and inviting, and you couldn't hear the other guests even though the place was packed. The music was only occasionally annoyingly loud. Unfortunately, the ramen wasn't very good. The broth was quite sour, and some of the toppings didn't taste very good either. I've definitely had much tastier ramen elsewhere.

The ambiance was simple but pleasant and cozy. It was quite cold, though, because the heating wasn't on. However, we arrived just as the restaurant was opening. The food, however, was fantastic; it was just as good as I remember from my visit to Japan. I had the Saitama Ramen, and everything was absolutely perfect. The meat was incredibly tender, and the noodles were cooked al dente in the Japanese style. I must especially emphasize that they were actual ramen noodles, not spaghetti or soup noodles like in many restaurants. The broth, the meat, and the noodles were all perfectly seasoned—very aromatic but not overpowering. I give the Saitama Ramen a 10/10. My mother and sister were also delighted with the Yakisoba. My nephew and niece also enjoyed it very much. We will definitely be coming back for more meals.

The ramen was delicious, and there were many different varieties to choose from. You can order either directly at the counter or from the waiter – ordering at the counter even gets you a 20% discount, which we thought was fantastic. We did have to wait a little longer, but it was absolutely worth it. Otherwise, everything was really great: delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and very friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

We were there just before Christmas and the server was incredibly friendly. Because of the numerous flies throughout the restaurant, we decided to cancel our meal. We had already paid, but were assured via WhatsApp that we would receive a refund. This actually happened, which was a very kind gesture from the owner. It definitely shows that he keeps his word, and I'm very grateful for that. The fact that we were able to cancel at our own request was also very accommodating.

Very disappointing! The restaurant is really dirty, dusty everywhere, and the tables are covered in sticky stains. The food wasn't good either. The ramen was too salty and sour, the ingredients were canned, and the gyoza were burnt and had a nasty aftertaste of old grease.

The atmosphere is simply fantastic. A truly great restaurant for Japan enthusiasts. The new ordering system at the self-service kiosk works perfectly; I'm already familiar with it from ramen shops in Japan. But the most important thing is the ramen. It's delicious, and the toppings were perfect. However, on my last visit, the broth was a bit too strong for my taste. All in all, a definite recommendation if you're looking for delicious ramen in Ulm. The wonderful atmosphere alone makes it worth a visit.

We've been coming to Ayumi for a long time, but recently it seems there's a new concept or perhaps a new owner. Unfortunately, the prices have skyrocketed (even a vegetarian ramen with tofu now costs €16.40, whereas about a year ago it was only €12), which is a real shame! On top of that, the ramen arrived lukewarm, and there were a few other mistakes (corn was included even though we'd asked for it to be removed, ingredients were missing, and some of the meat was so tough you couldn't bite into it, etc.). The unprofessional way they respond to other reviews speaks volumes. The kitchen staff, however, seem very friendly. And the ramen is still delicious :)

A small restaurant near Ulm Minster in a very good, central location. The food was truly excellent; the ramen is highly recommended. The wait wasn't too long either. The first time I was here, everything was great: excellent service and really delicious food. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this time. In my opinion, the ordering system is flawed. You sit together at one table, but everyone has to order individually via their mobile phone. This results in separate bills and pagers. Even though the same table was indicated, the food arrived at completely different times, which is extremely inconvenient. When we inquired, we were simply told, "You should have told us." However, we weren't aware of this; it wasn't mentioned anywhere, and with a system like this, you'd expect it to work. As for the food itself: it mostly seemed pre-made. The gyoza were burnt, the skewers weren't crispy, and the karaage was practically swimming in spicy sauce. It would be much better to serve the sauce separately, similar to soy sauce. After the initial mishap and a discussion with the kitchen, we at least received our main courses at the same time. Unfortunately, these were also disappointing. The soup was only lukewarm, and the ramen was heavily over-seasoned. We ordered the same dish twice; one arrived with a whole egg, the other with only half. This is very inconsistent for an identical dish. Furthermore, almost every time a customer asked a question, the staff brought up something about the tax office or upcoming minimum wage increases, and how they would otherwise have to raise the price of the ramen by €3. Frankly, I'm happy to pay €10 more for quality and good service, but neither was present this time. Overall, this visit was very disappointing. I didn't feel comfortable this time and probably won't be coming back.

I’m from Ireland so my German is sadly horrific. I like that you order off a touch screen here and await your food. That said the kitchen staff were the nicest staff I have met in Ulm, by a long shot. It was my first time and was confused about the ordering system and where to get my stuff etc and they were super friendly and helpful without even having to ask. The food was fantastic too. Having been to Japan I really appreciate good ramen and that was great. I work here occasionally and I’ll absolutely come here every time im over. It’s fairly affordable too.

Since the Ayumi team often comments on critical reviews that range from "cheeky," sassy, to bitter, I'll now attempt a cheeky account of our culinary experience. Anyone who accepts such serious criticism so casually and doesn't allow for any self-criticism is unfortunately missing the opportunity to truly improve. We arrived hungry, we left thirsty, and no, not because we forgot to order water. The mushrooms in the dish were very, very salty, phew. The homemade sauce? More of a homemade dare: too salty, too sour, and with a slight hint of "oops, it must have burned." The ambiance? Pretty, almost charming – but if you can't enjoy the food, even pretty lamps and a friendly smile won't help. The many good reviews? A mystery to us, perhaps a case for Galileo Mystery. There are definitely better ramen shops in Ulm, perhaps more expensive, but at least you don't have to drink half a glass of Lake Constance afterward to get over the salt shock. Conclusion: Salty, yes, edible, no. I'm curious about the humorous commentary on serious criticism—which, by the way, has been raised not only by us, but also by other guests. But as the Swabians would say: Never change a running system!

Unfortunately, the tonkotsu ramen has nothing to do with tonkotsu. The broth is extremely sour and undrinkable. The noodles are also not ramen quality and lack flavor, and the meat is very tough. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it for the price. There's no real service, as it's self-service, and the only employees in the kitchen or serving counter don't even say hello/bye/thank you. The company tried to delete the review; if that applies to all the negative comments, then I can understand the high rating. All in all, unfortunately, I can't recommend it and it's very disappointing.

The portion size was small , but rightly so because no one can eat this in big portion. Forget broth the noodles were dipped in salt water. There were three tofu puffs, two pieces of mushrooms and other vegetables were just there as a show piece. Basically, a person who has no experience in ramen can make better ramen than this. I ate there with a friend 7 months ago and ended up paying with my card. My money was debited twice. In the meantime I have called again and again and asked for the manager but he was never in the building or not available to talk. I have also contacted the police and they have already been there and informed the staff there but this did not help because they only said the manager was not available to talk at the moment. I still have not received my money back today, even though I have called several times after the police have already been there. I think it is a disgrace and unfair. We wanted to go out for ramen again, but were unfortunately disappointed. Chicken is OK for the gyoza, but we didn't like the others. I know kimchi better and expect better in a restaurant like this. The ramen were all very salty. Ordering at the terminal is OK, but with the beeping to pick up, the entire atmosphere is lost here, and the actually nice interior design doesn't help anymore. Payment when ordering seems practical. But it doesn't invite you to stay. Especially since the very offensive tip request is unpleasant if you haven't seen a single person serving you, cooking for you, etc. up to this point... Unfortunately, the toilets weren't clean and didn't have a door handle. Unfortunately, there probably won't be a second time.

When we entered the restaurant, the atmosphere surprised us. Beautiful graffiti on the walls, nice furniture and a somewhat rustic urban look with the concrete walls. The anime decor matched the menu and the area with tatami mats was also something special and is an experience in itself (we sat at normal tables). When we ordered our food we were surprised by the self-service, but that's not a bad thing, as you know. But if you then pick up the food and need a cell phone flashlight to find the cutlery in the corner, it would probably be advisable to put a light in the corner. After we got our food, we sat at a table. We tried (all 3) and looked at each other confused. The soup was sour and when we fished our first piece of menma out of the broth, we bit into it and for a moment couldn't distinguish the menma from wood. We were very disappointed as the food looked excellent. You couldn't drink/spoon/eat the broth because it was so sour. To this day I don't know what the reason was, but the other customers seemed happy. When it comes to payment, I have to say, if you're running a shop alone and standing in the kitchen, you can understand why you can only pay with a card (hygiene of cash and food, etc.) but I would still like to not be smiled at with 5%, 15% and 20% and "other amount" at the card reader, that's more or less forced, especially if there is no service or waitress to whom you could have given the tip. Conclusion: The store looks really nice, the decoration and furniture are nice too. Unfortunately we weren't impressed with the food and unfortunately we won't be coming back

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Ramen was only lukewarm, not authentic but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It just wasn't anything special, it was more of a noodle soup. The tofu was slightly black and that made the whole soup taste a bit burnt. Unfortunately, tonkotsu broth had nothing to do with pork bone broth. In terms of quantity, it was also quite small. I've eaten a few ramen and never finished the bowl. This time we managed to do everything despite not being very hungry and unfortunately not completely full. Drinks are available straight from the bottle. Personally, I don't have anything against it, but it's quite unusual for an actual restaurant (and not a snack bar), so I wanted to mention it. All in all, not necessarily bad, but I wouldn't come back either.

Unfortunately, we had to wait almost an hour for our food, even though the concept of self-service and pagers actually suggests faster processing. It would have been helpful if it had been clear that you could get the drinks yourself without waiting for the pager. The ramen was okay, but nothing special in terms of taste. If we had known about these processes beforehand, we would have decided against tipping when paying - which is done at the beginning. About the food (which is the most negative point): We ordered gyoza, which were immediately cold but were partly burnt black on the outside and also tasted burnt. The main course was ramen, where the meat was just as burnt as the gyoza. The entire food had a burnt smell and taste. Unfortunately a huge disappointment. Unfortunately it didn't really have much to do with traditional ramen.

We were there for the second time. The first time 2 years ago there was still a service, but now self-service and ordering/payment are either at the terminal or via mobile phone and a QR code directly at the table. To be honest, we liked it better the first time because you could then ask customer service about the card. This is especially helpful if you've never eaten ramen before. The current map is also rather bland and rational compared to before. In addition, not all dishes on the menu are listed at the table on the cell phone. Accordingly, we ordered something that was listed in the app. Not optimal. The food itself was again very tasty. We personally still missed the service.

The location is cool, the service was okay. However, we were very disappointed with the food. Unfortunately, you have to say it like it is: the broths are lukewarm, bland and underseasoned, the ramen is overcooked, and red sweet peppers completely destroy the dish. The curry was an indefinable sauce thickened with a lot of starch, seasoned with Indian curry powder, garnished with corn and mixed with rice. Where in the world did this idea of a curry come from? At least not in Asia, especially not in Japan. Sorry for the clear criticism. But here we lacked any basic understanding of sophisticated cooking. Klassisches Möbelhaus-Restaurant. Sprich: Massenabfertigung, Selbstbedienung und kein Feinschmeckeressen. Aber: Gute Auswahl, ordentlicher Geschmack - und das zu mehr als fairen Preisen. Getränke und Kaffee können nachgefüllt werden, so oft man möchte. Also für alle geeignet, die relativ günstig essen möchten und keinen großen Wert auf Atmoaphäre legen. Gehört beim Ikea-Besuch irgendwie dazu.
