Avci Bistro in Berlin

I had the doner kebab plate with chicken and veal – super juicy meat, perfectly seasoned. The salad was fresh and crisp, and the portion was generous. A particularly positive aspect: the friendly and attentive staff. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Berlin!

Delicious kebab, but I prefer the pizza (Lamakun). They also serve chicken and German cuisine.

The best döner I've ever tried in my life. The very first time I was introduced to döner, I thought, "Döner, I hardly even know her." Then their sweet meat pierced my lips, and I was left with a feeling I'd only ever felt once in my life - this feeling is the exact feeling I had experienced after I finished the first season of Gossip Girl... anxious for more. I could feel the meat throughout my body... the durum döner changing not just my understanding of flavor but of life. The meat slowly traversed my body, enacting feelings I never knew I had. I used to have recurring dreams about aliens abducting me and probing me with ferocity for all eternity... now, I dream of aliens taking me away... and probing me with God's great gift... döner. As I partook of such heavenly goodness, my soul departed from my body, and the drama of my life turned trivial. The women, the struggle - none of it mattered as the döner showed me where power truly lies, where meaning lies... in the kebab. As kids, we watch a rather plentiful amount of movies regarding superheroes... we assume those who play the role of a hero look stereotypical. The red cape, the spandex, the magical hammer, yet we often forget the real heroes wear a red polo shirt with "Avci" written in green. My Uncle Tom recently passed away. Filled with guilt and shame, I felt that my life had little to no purpose. Lost and ashamed, I took to the streets. I attempted to find solace in the arms of those who didn't feel the same about me. I went to döner place after döner place, and it wasn't until I came across Avci that my eyes were opened to the beauty of life itself. Mein Liebe... you changed my life. You brought joy into a seemingly joyless world... but most importantly, you gave me hope. Hope that I could live in a world where incredibly delicious and affordable döner exists. Now, every Thursday night, I'm treated with love, döner, and Baklava... in that order. On the sixth day, God created Avci durum döner. Love you, mein Liebe. God bless.

If you as a customer want a right to fresh meat, you will be kicked out. They'd rather sell you meat, which I don't know how long it's been there, the main thing is that they don't have to throw anything away, but if the customer gets a stomach ache because of it, you shouldn't be surprised. If I order duck from the Chinese and he serves me chicken, the chef has to make it again, so I don't understand why this whole policy of just making fresh meat for a product that is now almost luxury food. I also want the kebab to be served warm and not lukewarm-cold kebab 🤦🏻 and how can you be disrespectful towards Asians, always saying something like that and you have to take it with humor? We are both migrants, you (Employee) and I, just because many of the older Asian people you meet can't pronounce German words correctly, you don't need to project on every Asian person🙂‍↕️, because imagine some of us can even speak German better than you

Are you looking for book pain or diarrhea? Then you've come to the right place, the kebab from avzi in Lichtenberg will fulfill your wishes. When I asked what kind of meat it was and that I had had pain from kebab for three days, he told me that I should go to the toilet. I hope that the consumer protection center comes by here. Shame on you!

Turkish pizza with "chicken" Meat was so burnt in places that it had the consistency of a crouton, and the rest was swimming in fat in the pizza. 9€ the fun, well at least the trash can was full, because this dish was absolutely not edible. Got 2 chances and failed again, then I'd rather have a sandwich at the bakery...

Not a bad gaff, got a halloumi doner and drink. €9. Not overwhelmed but pretty standard doner. Good flavour on spices+sauces. By train station so defo good location

I had a good time eating. As for the doner, I was hesitant about choosing beef or chicken, so they suggested mixing it first, and I enjoyed it. Even though I went hungry, there was so much food that I had leftovers. This food goes well with Berliner beer.

Racism. These two guys made customers visibly uncomfortable, making unfunny guesses and remarks about customer’s race. After you order they start bombarding you with derogatory jokes. They yelled different East Asian and southeast Asian countries at me, they even PULLED THE CORNERS OF THEIR EYES WITH THEIR FINGERS at me. I was shocked. What is this even, racism from the 1950s? Definitely go somewhere else.

Favorite kebab in East Berlin 🤤

We were here tonight (1am) to satisfy our hunger after a tiring flight. Unfortunately, this time we were very disappointed with Avci, the employee preferred to talk to his friend and didn't prepare our kebab carefully. The kebabs were dry - there was far too little sauce and only at the bottom and not spread at all! I almost finished the kebab before I got the sauce. Accordingly, the kebab didn't taste good at all, even though the ingredients were fresh. I think it's a shame that people don't take 10 seconds to sell a good product. Next time we'll get our kebab somewhere else.

Racism in dealing and the food was not good or clean, we couldn't finish it because were not well cooked and also the feathers were not removed well

Absolutely the worst filth and tourist trap in all of Berlin. Meat tastes like it has been rotting on the same skewer for 3 days, salad is disgustingly old. I can only recommend everyone to give this money laundering place a wide berth

They cheat when they issue change, I bought a kebab box for 6 euros, I give 7 euros, they give me back the change of 50 cents!

I'm usually here once a week with my kids before music class. The food has always been good, the employees are attentive and listen relatively patiently when the dwarves order. It is possible to sit down, which is not always a given in a kebab shop. In this respect, we recommend it.

We only wanted seitan and 1 pepper instead of a whole kebab box. We got about 100g of Seitan and half a pepper and were charged 8 euros for it. According to the menu, a large Vönerbox cost 7 euros. It was an emergency solution because nothing else was open on New Year's Eve, but that's outrageous, I won't go there again. In other restaurants/snack bars you are either given more and charged more or given less and charged less/the same. For that price I could have made 2 kilos of Seitan myself.

Unfortunately, I didn't get what I ordered several times in a short space of time. Apart from dacon it tastes good.

I asked for a Döner, they made me a Dürüm, then charged me more than what the menu said. But it should be 7? „Yeah but this is Halloumi AND falafel.“ Yeah but the menu still says 7 for that. „But I gave you extra.“ Seriously? Only reluctantly gave me my correct change.

Sehr ekelhaft hätte jetz nicht damit gerechnet wollte Döner kaufen und auf ganze Salat waren fliegen und Lebensmittel Motten überall welche auf Plastik verpackung …einfach eklich nie wieder andere avci Bistro bei rewe genauso

Decent döner, not the best but my go to in the area. Not really cheap but usually nice service
