At first, everyone was friendly and helpful. The place is tidy, but not exactly cozy or attractive. The order phone rang incredibly loudly the whole time. It was really annoying and unpleasant. They don't accept credit cards. They told us in a very inappropriate tone that it says so on the door. And they said the machine couldn't handle it. How stupid do they think we are? That's outdated and terrible service. The lasagna was greasy and swimming in sauce. The pizza was passable. I won't be going back there.

We were there at lunchtime and were absolutely delighted. Lovely atmosphere, perfect service, fantastic food! We'll be back.

Very nice atmosphere and decor. The fish dishes were very good; I ordered a salad with organic chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was prepared incorrectly for the salad, but I still enjoyed it. We were a group of 12 people, all adults. Our order didn't take long. I prefer coffee and cake there to lunch. You can also buy Italian products like olive oil and liqueurs; the olive oil is highly recommended. Very suitable for family gatherings.

A wonderful evening with fantastic, delicious food. Our waiter, Robin, was great and very funny. We had a blast. We'd love to come back again. The only slight downside was that it was a bit too warm in the restaurant.

Booked online, received confirmation, and then an hour later the phone rang – no table available. "Can't be done" isn't in their vocabulary; they adjusted the time slightly and secured a table for two – and that on a fully booked Valentine's Day! THANK YOU!!!! The staff was fantastic, so friendly, polite, and accommodating. The food was top-notch.

Based on the many positive reviews, we decided to make a trip to Moers. We can't quite confirm them, though. The food and service didn't quite meet our expectations.

I was here for the third time last night, and it was another great evening. I love the cozy atmosphere, the comfortable armchairs and chairs, and the decor. Lots of little knick-knacks add to the comfort without being kitschy. The menu is small and exquisite—a rather eclectic mix of Lower Rhine and Italian cuisine. And every dish is delicious. My shrimp, drizzled with plenty of good olive oil, were cooked to perfection. With the exceptional aioli, it was a real treat. The beef roulade was also praised, as were the pumpkin noodles. The menu seems to change weekly, seasonally, and with a lot of love. You can tell the chef enjoys preparing the dishes. Some of the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Whether the server is politely reserved or friendly and boisterous, I always feel welcome.

Only the endive skewer was a bit of an exception once, as it was noticeably too sour. But even here, the restaurant's great professionalism shone through: they immediately and very attentively worked to find a solution. Thank you for being there, we'll definitely be back! 🫶

We've been there five times for lunch so far. The food is good quality and typical of traditional Italian cuisine. However, the lunch menu isn't always reliable. Those relying on the opening hours might be disappointed, as they seem to make individual decisions. They have a large and varied wine list featuring both German and Italian wines.

Okay, admittedly, we arrived around 3 pm. But if it's open that late, I expect a bit more food on offer. It was our first time here, and we were given a one-page menu with just a few dishes. Based on other reviews and the online menu, I had expected more vegetarian options. What we had was okay, but nothing special. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was friendly. The price/performance ratio was acceptable.

Completely unexpectedly, we were only in Moers on business and had lunch here. The truffle spaghetti with salmon and beef was simply divine, exceptionally delicious. Great value for money. A very pleasant, family-run atmosphere, even though we were almost alone on a Sunday at 1 p.m.! Thumbs up and keep it up!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding experience at Autentico Moers (10/10 points!) Autentico in Moers is a real highlight. I was absolutely thrilled and will definitely be back! Ambiance & Service: The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. With comfortable seating and lovely decor, you immediately feel at ease. The service was very friendly and attentive. The only minor thing I missed was a proper farewell when leaving the restaurant – but that's really nitpicking. Food & Drinks: The menu is concise but offers a little bit of everything, so there's something for everyone. It's especially worth mentioning that my dietary restrictions were addressed immediately. My entrecôte was absolutely delicious, and the side dishes were a generous portion. It was cooked sous vide – personally, I would have preferred a quick, final sear to achieve the perfect crust, but that's a matter of taste. The wine list is good and offers a nice selection. Value for Money & Events: The prices are absolutely fair. My entrecôte with sides, for example, cost only €29. The interesting events, such as the "Thermo-Mix Party" and "Pasta e Basta" on Thursday evenings (truffle pasta served from a Parmesan wheel!), also pique one's interest. Location: Moers is particularly beautiful in the evening, and the opening of the Christmas market this weekend makes the area even more attractive. In good weather, it's certainly a lovely place to simply enjoy a coffee outside. Conclusion: 10 out of 10! A great restaurant with excellent food, good service, and fair prices.

I've been to Autentico many times, and it's about time I wrote a review. The food is fresh, wonderfully prepared, and always absolutely delicious. The menu changes every two weeks, so it never gets boring. The food is consistently excellent. The service is always warm and friendly, which is sadly rare these days. Disappointing Visit Despite Promising Menu Visited on November 4, 2025, with three people. Unfortunately, the food fell far short of expectations: The fried sardine appetizer didn't taste freshly fried, more like it had been reheated, and had an unpleasantly fishy taste. The "shellfish ragout" with pasta tasted more like cocktail sauce; the advertised spinach was completely missing. Instead of "crispy Parmesan," we received flat, bland vegetable ribbons (possibly parsnip) – neither in taste nor appearance did it offer a suitable alternative to the promised cheese. The gnocchi with truffle sauce also resembled a ready-made product rather than a freshly prepared sauce. The roast duck itself was okay, however, a hair was found in one of the bread dumplings – this significantly detracted from the overall impression. Unfortunately, two people experienced gastrointestinal problems shortly after our visit. Too bad - the concept and map sounded promising, but unfortunately the execution wasn't.

I spent a relaxing evening enjoying delicious food and good wine. I particularly appreciate the varied menu, which is concise and, for me, an indicator of good, fresh cuisine. The staff is very attentive. Reserving a table is recommended.

We were at Autentico as part of Enni's Nights of the Bands. The awesome band GranuFunk was playing there. The place was packed, but the service was still great! A truly fantastic team looked after the guests. We'd love to go back.

We've been there for lunch several times and twice with our dog. The last X even accommodated 3 people with 2 dogs. The waiter immediately brought our dogs water without asking, which we think is great. The food came quickly and we all really enjoyed it. We also liked that the waiter was attentive to our well-being and that we weren't missing anything. Great food, nice ambience and good service "ALWAYS WITH JUST!"

A very chic, modern, and cozy restaurant on a side street in Moers. The small, changing menu offers something for both large and small appetites. You can enjoy Calabrian cuisine or sample the wine list along with cocktails/mocktails. The prices are moderate. We waited less than 10 minutes for our food (around 3 p.m. on a weekday), which is really quick. There are several parking spaces nearby (parking garage or parking lot).

The perfect restaurant for everyone who likes something special. Very professional service, very attentive and always friendly and helpful, here the guest is taken seriously and it makes it easy to relax and enjoy the great food. Every plate and every dish is very attractive and creatively designed. There is a great lunch menu and the dishes from 5 p.m. leave nothing to be desired. With this sensational selection and the changing menu, there is always great anticipation when you take a look inside. It's often difficult to decide, but you can just eat out twice a week :) the Autentico is our absolute favorite restaurant and we are very happy to have found it! Thank you for always giving us a perfect evening and allowing us to enjoy your great food.

I only wanted to eat a little and decided on a starter: lamb's lettuce in a wild berry dressing with pumpkin chutney and baked brie. The supposedly small thing was bigger than expected and gave me a great taste experience with its finely balanced aromas. P.S. The price-performance ratio was also good and the service was, as always, impeccable and extremely friendly.

A few weeks ago my husband and I went to a barbecue evening - very, very tasty and plentiful. Then we had dinner there with our children and children-in-law - again very, very tasty. Our children want to eat at Autentico again, even though they live in other cities and that says a lot 😃. We would like to have breakfast there soon. It will definitely be good too. The staff was friendly and calm, unfortunately they are a bit understaffed.

Absolutely top class! Stopped by spontaneously yesterday before visiting the fair, nice, relaxed seating both outside and inside, friendly and very attentive service and super delicious food. The price-performance ratio of the gourmet menu is phenomenal. My first but definitely not last time, see you in 2 weeks when the menu rotates!

Located in the middle of the old town of Moers on Hans-Dieter Huesch Platz. Small but cozy restaurant. Unfortunately also affected by the staff shortage. Despite great efforts, one service employee on Friday evening is not enough. Menu very manageable and in the upper price segment. The food was very tasty and the beer was well tapped. Unfortunately not enough staff for the price range (but it could have been an exceptional situation) otherwise recommended.

We wanted to eat there on Saturday around 2 p.m. The homepage states opening times from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., we are from the neighboring town and informed ourselves in advance. But we were turned away! It would be lunchtime! That's why we wanted to go out to eat. So I ask myself: what are the restaurateurs actually complaining about? Apparently they don't always want guests and they stick to the stated, published times as they please? Apparently it's doing well enough for that.

I have to say that I can't fully understand all the great reviews. It is a beautiful, cozy restaurant with a beer garden in the middle of Moers. Personally, it was my first time here and I was really looking forward to this evening. We were there with 10 women and sat comfortably outside. Unfortunately, we had to assume that the pigeons flying around were doing their business directly over our heads. After eating a starter, we had to wait quite a long time for our main course, even though it wasn't particularly busy. The plates were visually very nicely presented. Unfortunately one or two things were missing. Things were processed that weren't even on the menu. Among other things, we ordered Argentine beef fillet, which wasn't worth the price of 30 euros. I've eaten much better meat. We were all looking forward to the baked zucchini blossom, which unfortunately was forgotten. We were given the missing zucchini flower, which wasn't a flower at all, but baked zucchini slices. Unfortunately it was not possible to offer a small gluten-free alternative. The service was good, but a lot more sales could have been made from drinks. I actually wanted to come back with my family, but it's a shame that it was difficult to find a gluten-free dish and there weren't even one or two children's dishes. Maybe children aren't so welcome here?!

The whole thing just fits here. Great restaurant, nice terrace, nice service, cozy atmosphere. In addition, a new card regularly and special requests are taken into account. The mixture of Calabria and Lower Rhine is an absolute enrichment in the old town of Moers. We love coming and haven't gone home hungry so far.

I visited this location in the fall on vacation and it was one of the best food experiences I had across Europe. I went early in the afternoon with no rush and sat on the patio. I spent some time talking to the owner and trying several of his recommendations (including the duck pictured) and it was all good. Very relaxed atmosphere as if the other guests were all friends. Additionally I have a food allergy and the staff was very accommodating and took it seriously. If I am ever back in Moers I will definitely stop back in.

We were there with 5 people on Tuesday April 30th. there and had a very nice evening. I personally find the atmosphere very pleasant. The food was excellent and worth every penny. I had Pitta Calabrese with first-class homemade bread and a lovely wild garlic pesto & aoili. For the main course, Porchetta alla Mario, the meat was tender, the potatoes were just right and the tomato salad with it, hmmmm was honestly the tastiest tomato salad I've ever eaten. For dessert there was a tiramisu, not too sweet and nice and creamy. My other blackheads were also thrilled. The service was very friendly, even if the young man had to serve the whole place alone, always with a smile on his face. This is how a restaurant evening should be!!! Thank you.

We waited for so long (like an hour) and got no food at the end. They only have one cook but it's always really full. The service is bad. Maybe with a reservation would be better, but you'll still have to wait a lot because they onle have one cook.
