Yesterday we ate here for the first time. From the outside, it looks a bit unassuming at first glance. But once you're inside, that first impression is quickly forgotten, and you immediately feel at home. The restaurant was very busy, but we still managed to get a table for two and were served very well by the very attentive wait staff. The food was delicious, everything was freshly prepared, and the ambiance was very nice. The wait time for the food and the value for money were more than reasonable. In conclusion: Everything was great, and we'll definitely be back 👍 only then will we reserve a table in advance 😄

Great food! Lulled atmosphere. Five large-format posters affixed to the wall with roofing nails, and voila, the Indian restaurant is complete. There's still plenty of room for improvement.

I was absolutely thrilled with Aura Masala! You're greeted warmly as soon as you enter – the service is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel truly welcome. The food is a dream: freshly prepared, aromatic, and authentic, without being overly spicy. The butter chicken and the homemade sauces were a particular highlight – perfectly seasoned and served in generous portions. There are also plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, which is a huge plus for me. The prices are fair and, given the quality and quantity, hard to beat. The ambiance is cozy, if not super modern – but that's more than compensated for by the friendly service and fantastic taste. A quick tip: If you want to sit outside in the summer, be aware that the terrace is rather plain – but the food makes up for it all.

I'd be happy to come back here again. The food was delicious. The spices are finely balanced and, depending on your taste, either hot or spicy. The service was very good, and I think the ambiance is perfect. The chairs are very comfortable. All in all, we were very satisfied and can only recommend the restaurant.

We were there today, and the food and service were very good. The Indian background music, however, takes some getting used to. Since my husband wears hearing aids and music just sounds like noise, and it was already quite loud, I politely asked if they could turn the music down a bit, and that wasn't a problem either. So, thumbs up. 👍 Definitely recommended.

I went there today with a friend, and we both loved it! We're both vegetarians and were more than happy with the selection. I have to say, since I'm often in the UK and eat a lot of authentic Indian food there, I know a bit about it and can honestly say I had my best curry there, and the naan was amazing! Keep it up!

The best Indian restaurant around!

I was curious about Indian cuisine with a group. And even though the restaurant, the waitresses, and everything else were very dingy and dirty, we didn't let that deter us. And now, the food. Despite everything, the food was very tasty and wholesome.

We wanted to eat here, but turned around at the door because it looked really dirty and untidy from the outside. The terrace looks bad and everything is very neglected. We wanted to eat here because of the good reviews, but if you don't even bother to clean something up outside... who knows what it will look like in the kitchen. No thanks

The most important thing: the food was really tasty and fairly priced and would have deserved the 5 stars. The fact that a meal was no longer there speaks for the freshness, but also a beer was sold out.. We had 2 starters from the "Street Food" menu and a main course + naan and papadum: everything was very tasty and we were also very full. The ambience tends towards 2 points, somehow unfinished (like one wall): but it was clean. So: eat out a lot so that the owners have money to look after themselves ;-)

It was like a little getaway. The owner was very friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. I chatted with the owner, who told me that only Indian gourmet chefs work there. And you can taste it. I've been to India myself, and it's a perfect match. A dream. I can recommend it to everyone from the bottom of my heart ❤️.

Insider tip! I was a bit put off by the restaurant's exterior at first, but decided to visit based on the good reviews. And I didn't regret it! The most tender and flavorful lamb dish I've had in years, very subtly and slightly spicy, served with crispy rice. Excellent! Friendly and quick service, and the food arrived in 10 minutes. Delicious, freshly prepared, very nice service that gives great advice. A simple restaurant, clean, with a small dining room. The smell of cooking hangs in the air a little. If you want to have a good Indian meal, this is the place for you. I'll definitely go there again.

From the outside, Aura Masala's simple building doesn't look particularly trustworthy, but those who venture inside will be treated to authentic and very tasty Indian cuisine. An exceptionally good and highly recommended Indian restaurant!

The most important thing first: super delicious food, comparatively cheap. This is really recommended. Maybe it's better to go, the service was semi-friendly and the atmosphere wasn't necessarily comfortable. The acoustics in particular are incredibly bad. The restaurant is rather small, but still so loud that we had to shout to each other while sitting opposite each other.

A small but nice restaurant that looks very inconspicuous from the outside. You will be welcomed by a cozy atmosphere. And the menu offers a large selection and diverse dishes. From sheep to European. Every dish we ordered was really excellently seasoned and to the point. The approach has addictive potential and it will be difficult to stop despite feeling full. In summary, a really inconspicuous restaurant, which is a culinary jewel in the region.

After initial skepticism, the Aura Masala convinced me. The simple and simple restaurant impresses with incredibly good cuisine!!! I give it full marks here. The price/performance ratio is more than reasonable. If there is something to criticize, it is that the waitress could better swap the jogging suit for a sari. A clear recommendation from me

A real enrichment for Bad Pyrmont. You can get great Indian cuisine here. The staff is very friendly. The ambience and the toilets don't bother me either. I'm going to the restaurant for food.

Extremely good authentic Indian cuisine with a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Top! Since the restaurant was almost fully booked on our two visits (so far), it was loud and the staff worked hectically. We don't find the atmosphere particularly comfortable. Maybe it's better to stop there during the week.

The food was very tasty and the rice alone was a dream. The naan with lamb filling was a highlight, great aroma...well baked...simply excellently done. The portion was very good together with the naan. Service friendly and attentive, otherwise unobtrusive. Unfortunately, the building itself is not ideal, but that shouldn't stop anyone from enjoying the really good food. Any time!

It's been a while since we ate here. But I really have to say that the food is amazing...the taste is great. I've eaten Indian food many times but it's very rare...The ambience isn't that nice but the food is simply bomb.

The food was outstanding! The homemade cheese is a feast for the palate. We were there with a small group and were given a very friendly welcome.

We had lunch here. We shared two different curries and both were delicious! The mango lassi and naan were also excellent. The interior is nicely decorated, but from the outside everything is a bit nondescript. The moated castle is directly opposite and invites you to take a digestive walk.

We were in the restaurant (outdoor area) at lunchtime today. Investments could be made here. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was on the table quickly and very tasty. The Indian yogurt drinks are the recommendation. The rice is on point and the chicken dishes are great. I can only recommend it!

We highly recommend the butter chicken, it's very good and they serve it directly with rice. The head of the place was very attentive to us, luckily he spoke English and made everything very easy for us. Finally an Indian restaurant nearby so you don't have to travel to a larger city. The menu has a lot to offer. Among other things, many vegetarian and vegan dishes. I've been there several times now and have never been disappointed. Large portions at really reasonable prices. It is cooked with fresh ingredients and you can taste it too! The level of spiciness of the food can be adjusted as desired. Here you will also be asked specifically when ordering. The service is very courteous and nice! Only the ambience can be improved, but it is much nicer than when the restaurant opened.

The food was very good. It was very well seasoned and the meat was very tender. I would have liked the waiter to ask from time to time whether the guest had another request. When I went to the toilet later I found it very bad. The owners should think about that.

I had a very tasty and enjoyable lunch here. Salt Lassi, Punjabi Chicken, rice and side salad. All of the food was well-cooked. Moist chicken, a good balance of spices in the thick sauce. The staff were very friendly and polite and dealt with 'a coriander issue' at another table easily and to the diners' satisfaction.

The terrace has the charm of a motorway construction site. Dangerous for guests with walking difficulties. The service was nice and friendly within the scope of their possibilities. The “tender duck breast fillet” had the consistency of beef goulash. Conclusion: Never again.

A great restaurant with very tasty food. We spontaneously decided on Indian and were rewarded with good service and fantastic tasting food. It's a bit cramped in the restaurant and not that comfortable, but that's really a complaint on a high level.
