AURA MASALA in Bad Pyrmont

A real enrichment for Bad Pyrmont. You can get great Indian cuisine here. The staff is very friendly. The ambience and the toilets don't bother me either. I'm going to the restaurant for food.

Extremely good authentic Indian cuisine with a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Top! Since the restaurant was almost fully booked on our two visits (so far), it was loud and the staff worked hectically. We don't find the atmosphere particularly comfortable. Maybe it's better to stop there during the week.

There were five of us for dinner and it was fantastic, see you soon!

The food was very tasty and the rice alone was a dream. The naan with lamb filling was a highlight, great aroma...well baked...simply excellently done. The portion was very good together with the naan. Service friendly and attentive, otherwise unobtrusive. Unfortunately, the building itself is not ideal, but that shouldn't stop anyone from enjoying the really good food. Any time!

It's been a while since we ate here. But I really have to say that the food is amazing...the taste is great. I've eaten Indian food many times but it's very rare...The ambience isn't that nice but the food is simply bomb.

The food was outstanding! The homemade cheese is a feast for the palate. We were there with a small group and were given a very friendly welcome.

We had lunch here. We shared two different curries and both were delicious! The mango lassi and naan were also excellent. The interior is nicely decorated, but from the outside everything is a bit nondescript. The moated castle is directly opposite and invites you to take a digestive walk.

We were in the restaurant (outdoor area) at lunchtime today. Investments could be made here. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was on the table quickly and very tasty. The Indian yogurt drinks are the recommendation. The rice is on point and the chicken dishes are great. I can only recommend it!

We highly recommend the butter chicken, it's very good and they serve it directly with rice. The head of the place was very attentive to us, luckily he spoke English and made everything very easy for us. A place where they serve you with a smile and generate a lot of confidence, a very familiar place

Very nice little restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside, but the staff is super warm and friendly and the drinks and food are fantastic. I can only recommend. There were four of us in the restaurant today and all four of us really enjoyed it.

Finally an Indian restaurant nearby so you don't have to travel to a larger city. The menu has a lot to offer. Among other things, many vegetarian and vegan dishes. I've been there several times now and have never been disappointed. Large portions at really reasonable prices. It is cooked with fresh ingredients and you can taste it too! The level of spiciness of the food can be adjusted as desired. Here you will also be asked specifically when ordering. The service is very courteous and nice! Only the ambience can be improved, but it is much nicer than when the restaurant opened.

The food was very good. It was very well seasoned and the meat was very tender. I would have liked the waiter to ask from time to time whether the guest had another request. When I went to the toilet later I found it very bad. The owners should think about that.

Absolutely delicious. Almost zero waiting time today even though the store was full. The young waitress was on her toes, direct and nice. That's how I like it! PS: Try the garlic bread!

The atmosphere is a bit simpler, but we always got a nice table, you don't have to make a reservation, the food is very tasty and the service is friendly, willing to explain the dishes so that you can find the right one for you if you want delicious Indian food I would like to come to the right place, the portions are generous and the prices are right, we can only recommend it!👍

I had a very tasty and enjoyable lunch here. Salt Lassi, Punjabi Chicken, rice and side salad. All of the food was well-cooked. Moist chicken, a good balance of spices in the thick sauce. The staff were very friendly and polite and dealt with 'a coriander issue' at another table easily and to the diners' satisfaction.

We found it pleasantly spicy. From Indian beer, wine and juices plus yoghurt drinks with corresponding fruit flavors, there is also a large selection of German drinks at more than decent prices. The terrace has the charm of a motorway construction site. Dangerous for guests with walking difficulties. The service was nice and friendly within the scope of their possibilities. The “tender duck breast fillet” had the consistency of beef goulash. Conclusion: Never again.

We were traveling to Bad Pyrmont for further training. We came across this restaurant via Google. What can I say, we were there two days in a row and it was super tasty. If we had become aware of it sooner, we would have been there more often. Very nice team, nice restaurant. Super great food and very varied selection. Only recommended. Wir sind auf Grund der Bewertungen hier gelandet, der erste Eindruck von aussen, war für mich " hammer schon wieder Weihnachtszeit?" Überall aufgeregte Lichterketten. Egal, rein und promt einen Platz bekommen, gut Sonntag Abend war nicht allzuviel los, denke aber mit mehreren Personen, würde eine Reservierung nicht schaden. Die Karte der Hammer! Soviele Gerichte haben wir hier im Stuttgarter Raum äusserst selten auf den Karten... also bestellt. Was soll ich sagen, alles was wir hatten war hervorragend, selbst den Rest, den ich nicht schaffte, lies ich einpacken, das Brot war am nächsten Tag meine Rettung während der Heimfahrt. Schade, dass dieser Laden so weit weg ist.... Großes Lob an die flotte, sehr aufmerksame Chefin (?!?), die junge Dame die am Sonntag Abend die Bestellungen aufgenommen hatte. Top Service!!! Die anderen Mitarbeiter waren auch flott unterwegs, doch da besteht eine kleine Sprachbariere. Essen sehr, sehr lecker!!

The three of us ate here this evening. We've eaten Indian food several times. But we have never eaten in a restaurant like this. Very authentic cuisine is offered, with finely balanced spices. Everything tastes wonderful. We can only recommend the restaurant. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The atmosphere isn't exactly cozy, but it's not bad either. Unfortunately, access for people with assistants is very slippery when wet and appears a bit unkempt. There is still room for improvement here.

Sehr freundliches Personal und das Essen war sehr lecker. Karte leider zu voll mit Gerichten, wie soll man sich entscheiden bei so viel Auswahl. Die Lassi's waren Klasse. Interieur war angenehm aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dies gilt aber für gefühlt alles in Bad Pyrmont. Wir möchten dieses kleine Lokal aber gerne weiterempfehlen.

Don't let the exterior of the house put you off. Unfortunately, it is completely inconspicuous and easy to miss. There were four of us at Aura Masala and the food was fantastic, very tasty and with a pleasant spiciness. We recommend. Only the toilets should be renovated. But that's complaining at a high level.

Wie sind schon oft hier gewesen und sind immer mehr als zufrieden. Der Service ist immer freundlich und sehr kompetent. Das Essen ist hervorragend und die Auswahl mega. Auch wenn das Aura Masala von außen eher unscheinbar erscheint sollte man nicht dran vorbei sondern rein gehen.

Jeder von uns hatte ein anderes Gericht und haben am Ende alles probiert. Trotz unterschiedlicher Schärfe und Gewürzen haben uns alle Gerichte super geschmeckt. Sehr gute indische Küche zu sehr guten Preisen. Gerne wieder Die Schärfe ist jedoch sehr deutsch gehalten, ein "sehr scharf" ist eher pikant, das sollte man bei der Bestellung im Hinterkopf haben, auf Nachfrage auch sicher schnell gerichtet und nachgewürzt. Die Auswahl ist sehr breit gefächert und typisch indisch auch Vegetarier- und Veganerfreundlich. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert für alle die indisch mögen oder auch nicht kennen

Essen sehr aromatisch und gut abgeschmeckt. Auf den Punkt gekocht und nett dekoriert. Service sehr freundlich. Hier werde ich wieder essen.

Das Essen war so lecker. Wir hatten Papadams mit 3 verschiedenen Dips, Chicken Korma, Chicken Tandoori Masala und Garlic Naan Brot. Der Service war super. Als Gruß aus der Küche gab es kleine Bällchen die aus Linsenmehl gebacken waren die hohl waren und dann mit Kartoffeln, Avocado, fritierten Nudeln und Granatapfelkernen und einer Tamarindensoße gefüllt waren und als kleinen Nachtisch gab es kleine unterschiedliche Süßigkeiten, ähnlich wie Fudge, bestehend aus Nüssen, Kichererbsen, Zucker usw. So lecker und nicht so extrem süß sondern einfach sehr ausgewogen. Ich war wirklich begeistert. Vielen, vielen Dank 😘. Ich werde mir das Restaurant auf jeden Fall merken und bestimmt das nächste Mal wieder kommen.

Das Restaurant ist von außen sehr unscheinbar, wir sind aufgrund der guten Rezessionen reingegangen und wurden nicht enttäuscht! Der Service war auf Zack und freundlich. Die Speiskarte ist ordentlich und strukturiert. Vom Essen waren wir auch begeistert. 1x Butter Chicken ca. 16€ pro Gericht 1 x Mango Chicken 1 x Naan Bei den Hauptgerichten war der Reis dabei und wir hätten noch Nachschlag bestellen können. Von der Atmosphäre war es etwas kühl und nicht ganz so gemütlich, trotz der schönen Bilder an den Wänden. Wir würden trotzdem wieder kommen!

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war super freundlich. In der indischen Küche werden so viele aromatische Gewürze verwendet, da kann das essen nur schmecken. Auf alle Fälle empfehlenswert.

Hatte Glück einen Tisch zu bekommen...wenn es 10 Sterne gäbe,dieses Restaurant hätten sie verdient. Bedienung sehr freundlich machte rasch den Tisch sauber. Getränke kamen schnell, Mango Lassi lecker. Bestellt hab ich die Nr.47 Gemischtes Tandoorie... Der nette Kellner hat mir die Köstlichkeiten erklärt, ich kann nur sagen das Leckerste Indische Essen was ich je zu mir genommen habe. Macht weiter so, sollte ich nochmal nach Bad Pyrmont kommen werde ich auf jeden Fall bei euch halt machen. 👌

Dies ist ein echter Tip für Veganer; denn es gibt dort überraschend viele und sehr köstliche vegane Gerichte. Es besteht aber auch die Möglichkeit, manche vegetarische Gerichte als vegane Gerichte zu bekommen. Das Essen ist äusserst lecker und schön angerichtet. Einziger Abzug gilt leider für die Toilettenverhältnisse; zumindest was die Damentoilette betrifft. Ehrlich gesagt habe ich schon sehr lange kaum etwas schäbigeres und dreckiges gesehen. Hoffentlich ändert sich dieser Zustand noch. Es wäre sonst echt sehr schade für ein ansonsten so tolles Restaurant.

Das letzte mal war ich dort mit einer Bekannten und wir haben das essen mitgenommen, da das Restaurant nicht mehr lange auf hatte. Es war unglaublich lecker! Deshalb eine kleine Frage, ich möchte am Samstag meine Freundin dort zum essen einladen, müsste man dann einen Tisch reservieren oder kann man spontan vorbeikommen? Und ab wann könnte man eine Reservierung bestellen?

Recht einfache Einrichtung, man hat aber bequem gesessen. Essen wirklich sehr lecker und preislich in Ordnung. Unbedingt den Mangolassi probieren. Bedienung mäßig freundlich, aber zumindest flott.
