Athos - Griechische Spezialitäten in Leuna

Ich war schon zweimal dort. Als Grieche muss ich zugeben, dass es hier die besten Gyros gibt, die ich in Deutschland gegessen habe, und die Besitzer sind so freundlich, was das Ganze noch zehnmal besser macht. Μόνο Βολαρα! Καλές δουλειές παιδιά!

Der absolut schlechteste Gyros, den man sich vorstellen kann. Viel zu extrem gesalzen – man schmeckt das Fleisch überhaupt nicht mehr, nur noch pures Salz. Der Salat war offensichtlich nicht richtig gewaschen (man hat die Erde noch geknuspert). Kartenzahlung wird nicht akzeptiert, und als Krönung wird die Cola aus einer 1,5-Liter-Plastikflasche direkt ins Glas gekippt – keine Dose, kein kleines Fläschchen, einfach nur billigste Abfüllung vor deinen Augen. Ein echtes kulinarisches Verbrechen. 0/10, würde nicht mal meinem ärgsten Feind empfehlen.

I had gyros with fries and Metaxa sauce. The meat was tender and delicious. The sauce was perfect. Highly recommended! I'd be happy to come back!

For €9.50, a bit of spaghetti in a diluted Metaxa sauce with a small piece of chicken breast is quite something. Of course, card payments aren't possible, which is no surprise... Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

Simply terrible. The lady at the order counter acts like a sergeant major. The food is tasteless and watery. The Metaxa sauce on the spaghetti was probably just placed next to a real Metaxa sauce. The prices are completely unreasonable for such poor quality.

A solid Greek snack bar with fair prices. The food was tasty and definitely filling. The souvlaki was a bit oily, and the gyro could have been a bit less greasy – but overall, the taste was okay. Definitely a good choice for a quick snack between meals, especially considering the surrounding options.

Unfortunately, I had one of the worst Greek meals I've ever had today. The gyros was greasy and full of gristle, the Metaxa sauce was extremely watered down with cream, and the tomato rice was tasteless. On top of that, the price is not justified for such poor quality. The gyros plate was supposed to come with fries, but this was simply ignored. Also, be aware that there is no receipt and they only accept cash!

The taste was better than its döner kebab sibling. The meat was perfectly cooked and the marinade was simply divine. The tzatziki went perfectly with it. It also had a nice consistency. The flavor was impeccable. It could have used more garlic. The salad was fresh and rich in flavor. However, the onions were cut in a country-style way, which not everyone likes. It didn't bother me. The cheese was also too coarsely dressed; it could have been finer. The service seemed friendly and competent. The dish was prepared very quickly. The place was just like a shopping street, but nothing particularly unusual. Rating: 5.0

The meat was tough, and the food on the paper plate quickly became soggy. Too bad, it wasn't tasty.

Not the kind of food you'd expect from a good Greek restaurant. You get meat with a liter of sauce on a paper plate that dissolves during the meal, so you can eat that too or skip it altogether. Once, and never again.

I can't understand all the negative reviews. The value for money was excellent. Very well-seasoned gyro and a very friendly staff. Everything was delicious. Anyone who complains here is complaining at a high level! After all, this is a snack bar, not a restaurant.

Had a gyro plate with tzatziki. The tzatziki couldn't have been homemade. Simply awful.

If you like quick, tasty and Greek food, this is the place for you. Is freshly prepared and takes a moment, not like other snack windows. Tzatziki is good, salad is fresh and lean meat decorates the disposable plate. Been here several times. Can recommend Suflaki.

When I visited Nova I was looking for something cheap to eat. Here at the Greek restaurant I got a pita for 6.50 euros. You didn't have to wait long. What I have to complain about in general is that there are only disposable cutlery and plates here at Nova, which is not a good example. Here, where you can eat on site, proper crockery and cutlery would be appropriate! The pita was quite tasty. Unfortunately there wasn't much fresh salad. Actually they are also available in a flatbread, here it was kebab bread. The shop looked tidy but a bit dated.

Good price/performance ratio. We always like it. Of course there is room for improvement, but it's not a restaurant. Employees are always very friendly, even towards children. A good little Greek meal for in between 😊

Ordered extra large gyros, but they weren't particularly large. Wanted another bread, came 1€. Cola 0.5 in a cup, from the bottle, for €3.50. I personally didn't like tzatzik. Payment only in cash. Gyros tasted good.

Lovelessly made food. I love Greek. But that was really nothing... Even the gyros were partly raw. The zatziki, well, let's leave it alone. The tomato rice or whatever it was supposed to be was just total mush.

Unfortunately the gyro was quite stringy in places. The taste was not comparable to what we know from a Greek snack bar/restaurant.

Today we were passing through Nova and picked up our lunch at Athos. There was souvlaki with fries. The souvlaki were really great. Grilled to perfection, very tender and tasty. There could really be a few more side dishes. Otherwise the price/performance ratio is reasonable.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Schnell mal im Nova griechisch Essen für einen fairen Preis.

Die vereinzelt geäußerte Kritik am Preis der Speisen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Ich geh seit Jahren, immer wenn ich im Nova bin, bei Athos essen, weil die Speisen auf dem Niveau guter griechischer Restaurants sind. Der Krautsalat ist ein Traum, das Zaziki braucht sich hinter keinem zu verstecken und auch das Gyros ist fein. Ich mag die Mitarbeiter, die immer freundlich sind und engagiert ihrem Job nachgehen. Ich habe da immer ein gutes Gefühl. Ich hoffe sie kommen irgendwie durch die Pandemie, damit ich auch zukünftig bei euch schlemmen kann. Zurück zum Preis: In Relation zur Qualität der Speisen absolut angemessen. Auch auf Extrawünsche - Nudeln statt Reis - wird gern eingegangen. Verdiente 5 Sterne. Update 04.2023: Preise mittlerweile angepasst, Qualität der Speisen immernoch super und die Leute sind auch nett. PS: neues Bild online

Zu wenig Beilage für den Preis von 11.00. Etwas mehr Reis wäre gut, kostet doch nichts.!!

Hallo :) wir bestellen dort IMMER wenn wir im Nova sind. Unser Sohn liebt das Saganaki und die Metaxasoße :) Ich muss sagen, die Menschen die da hinterm Tresen arbeiten, sind unwahrscheinlich nett geradezu und gehen auf jeden Wunsch ein! Sie haben immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen, was man von vielen anderen Mitbewerbern dort nicht behaupten kann. Wir sind gerne dort. Liebe Grüße und bis zum nächsten mal

Essen ist lecker und Preis Leistung top. Aber Plastikbesteck und Pappteller find ich furchtbar. Soviel Müll.

Der große Gyrosteller hatte so wenig Reisbeilage, dass ich danach noch drei Brötchen essen musste. Warum spart man derart am Reis? Es waren 2 Esslöffel voll. Warum Plastikbesteck angeboten wird, ist auch unklar. Das Fleisch war fettig, das Zaziki war gut und die Salatbeilage reichhaltig und schmackhaft. Gyros Pita geschmacklich Durchschnitt, aber auch viel zu klein. Keine Empfehlung. Man sollte in Einkaufscentern lieber zu den großen Ketten wie Subway gehen.

Achtung!!! Zählt euer Wechselgeld nach!!! Gestern waren wir zum allerletzten Mal dort essen. Es ist uns schon wieder passiert, dass wir viel weniger Wechselgeld zurück bekommen haben und uns dann glaubend gemacht werden sollte, dass wir einen kleinen Geldschein hingegeben haben. Wir dachten bisher immer, ach, die arme Frau ist unkonzentriert und gestresst, bis wir jetzt endlich gemerkt haben, dass das mit voller Absicht passiert. Da möchte man die Unternehmer dort unterstützen und kauft verschiedene Gerichte( welche mit der Zeit auch im Preis gestiegen sind) und dann wird man noch betrogen. Das ist wirklich unverschämt. Und ja, die Frau entschuldigt sich nicht einmal, sondern diskutiert noch rum. Die Qualität des Essens hat auch abgenommen. Schade eigentlich...

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, super freundliches Personal nur leider ist alles sehr teuer.

Nudeln mit Gyros und Metaxa-Sauce. Ich weiß nicht wieso, aber es schmeckt einfach abartig geil. Und für den Preis einfach nur genial. Dabei mag ich Gyros sonst nicht so. Einmal hatte ich aus Versehen statt Gyros gebackenes Hühnerfleisch bestellt. War auch geil.

Geschmacklich wirklich gut und von der Portionsgröße absolut vertretbar. Preis-Leistung auch wirklich okay. Einziger Abzug dafür, das man im gesamten Restaurantbereich, egal welcher Laden von billigem Einweggeschirr speisen muss, das muss echt nicht sein. Kein Abzug allerdings für den Laden selbst, das wird wohl nicht in deren Macht liegen.

Super super leckeres Essen und super sympathische nette freundliche und fröhliche Mitarbeiter. Echt toll 👌

Bifteki ist nen Hacktaler ohne Käsefüllung und das Gyros war komplett versalzen, so das es im Mund schon gebrannt hat...widerlich! Essen war kalt und hatte insgesamt Dönerflair. Wenigstens unser Geld haben wir zurückbekommen, deswegen 2 Sterne.

Das Essen schmeckt gut, es geht schnell und das Personal ist nett.

Geschmacklich gut. Preise gegen dafür das es im Nova ist( wo sie sicher viel Miete zahlen). Geht auch sehr schnell. Gute Auswahl. Topp
