We were a group of 10 for dinner. The food was exceptionally good and delicious! The salads, main courses, and desserts were all excellent. Highly recommended!!

The best historical meal we've had in a long time. Lamb fillet and tarama as a starter. A good white Imigluekos with it.

I ordered Pizza Bolognese, it wasn't on the menu, they were a bit overwhelmed, put far too little Bolognese on it, cheese was also scarce, but it tasted somehow,

I really liked the menu because they also offer other dishes, like gyros in white wine sauce. The food came quickly, the portions weren't very large, but everything was delicious. Unfortunately, after the dishes were cleared, we weren't served again, and they didn't even ask if we'd like to drink ouzo. Too bad, so we ended up paying.

We actually only went to the restaurant because there wasn't any other restaurant that appealed to us. But it was the best decision ever. The food was amazing, the service was great, and they're kid-friendly, too. The prices are also perfectly reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant!

We ordered saganaki (fried feta cheese), garlic bread, and tzatziki for starters. The saganaki came fairly quickly, but since we wanted to eat the starters together and the garlic bread and tzatziki didn't arrive until 15 minutes later, the feta cheese was cold again and had to be reheated. Then our orders also came with tomatoes and onions, even though we specifically stated we didn't want them. We both had gyros with fries, and the meat was, to be honest, very dry. So, all in all, not a pleasant experience.

I've never experienced such unacceptable service. Almost everything we ordered was wrong or arrived much too late, and the food wasn't good either. I had to get salt and pepper from inside myself after asking repeatedly. And in the end, when I said they couldn't expect their guests to go through that, we didn't even get a discount. Absolutely not recommended and unacceptable!

Hello, first of all the service is nice but inattentive, my drink was empty for a long time. The offer for one is nice but outdated, an espresso would have been great instead, and he didn't ask about dessert either. The food was quite greasy, it would have been better to toss it in butter instead of putting large amounts of butter on it. The lamb cutlets are unfortunately not very good quality, I'd rather pay a euro more and get better ones! Quark or tzatziki tastes like a ready-made product from a bucket, people, there can be a lot more. The potatoes were very good. I'll try again, otherwise best wishes, a bit of an effort, Rupert twice.

The food is okay; if you want a quick bite, you can go there. At 8:45 p.m., we were told to pay, as they were closing. The opening hours are listed as 10 p.m., so we couldn't have a cappuccino...

Our experience on June 25th was very positive. We visited the restaurant on the recommendation of a third party, got a table outside, and were not disappointed. The service was perhaps a little lacking in experience, but drinks, salad, starter, and main course were brought chronologically. The food arrived hot and tasted excellent. An ouzo rounded off the experience.

The ambiance was very inviting. The gyro was very tough, and the tzatziki tasted like it was bought from a supermarket. And three hours later, the bill arrived. We spent half the night in the hotel bathroom with diarrhea, vomiting, and severe stomach cramps. We had to leave our short trip early. Truly unfortunate.

Overall, a good Greek restaurant. The portions are generous enough to fill you up, but not overly so. It tasted good, nothing more, nothing less. The prices are reasonable. The service was very friendly, and we felt welcome.

We ate there yesterday, what a shame! I'm used to much better Greek restaurants. The Metaxa was far too sweet 😕, the plaice fillet was completely dry (I know they give it a sauce), and the fries weren't seasoned and were too dark. Overall, far too expensive for what was served. NEVER again! But as I always say, everyone has different tastes.

We were totally disappointed. What a shame. The meat was tough as leather. I complained about it... The kitchen's response... we're sorry.

Because the entrance door was open because there were guests outside, we sat in a draft, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable.

Nice Greek restaurant. The food was served very quickly. It seemed prepared. It tasted okay. The shrimp were probably frozen, but I enjoyed it. The tzatziki was very tasty. The gyros were also good. It's unfortunate that you can't pay with Visa Debit here. Only EC cards are accepted. Not enough these days. Luckily, I had just enough cash with me.

This was by far the worst service and the worst food I have ever experienced.

Went there for dinner today. The food was absolutely excellent. The portions were completely sufficient. The only complaint is the fact that there is no ouzo. All in all, highly recommended...

Highly recommended family-run restaurant. The tzatziki as a starter is MEGA! The salad plate for the main course was very tasty. And then the main course, nice schlotzik rice, well-seasoned gyros and crispy fries! We had the Bifteki and the Alexandros plate. We were more than satisfied and in my opinion the price performance couldn't be beat!

The food was delicious! We were there with 10 people and everyone enjoyed it very much. Starters, main course and dessert were very nicely presented. If you visit Bad Lauterberg you should definitely eat at Athos! Thank you for the lovely evening.

If you don't accept payment by card, I don't think you're worth more than 1 star. You lost several guests the other day just because of this. Very sad as we would have otherwise liked to try this restaurant! We asked if it was possible to pay with Mastercard. When we asked the answer from you was that you only take cash and that we need to go to the ATM around the corner. I dont know how this confused you but i dont think there is anything to be confused about when we asked if we can pay with Mastercard.?

Very nice and attentive service. The food came very quickly after salad was served as a starter. The salad was good and fresh, but not a revelation. The tzatziki that was served as an extra was very tasty and well seasoned, but a somewhat meager portion for the price of 5.50 euros! A little more would be good...guys, it's yogurt!!!! Unfortunately the main course (Helios platter) was served on a cold plate! The tomato rice was almost cold, the entire main course was only lukewarm. The spicy tomato sauce tasted like a slightly too watery version of a bottled Tex-Mex sauce...also only lukewarm! You can do better than that!!! 😉 If the food, which was of good quality, was still served hot and on warmed plates, the 5th star would also be within reach! We would still like to come back and also like to try the other dishes. 👍👍👍

Were here on transit. Prices are slightly higher. But there is good, nice service, salad beforehand and very good food... For me it could have been a little more of the delicious gyros. The mousakas is also very good... at the end there was an ice-cold, delicious ouzo on the house. 👍 We'll definitely come back next time... 👍😊

The food was tasty but small. I ordered baked eggplant. The eggplant was small, but the filling consisted of a large amount of onions and a small amount of cheese. The proportions did not correspond to the price. The service was very nice and quick.

Yesterday I had dinner at Athos with my wife. We both had a chicken dish, one from the oven and the other from the pan. It was hot and the sauces were excellent. A tip for the chef: too much salt was used, which detracted from the taste a bit. The little girl at the service is a golden force, the owner can be happy with that. It was also a pity that our card was not accepted when paying with the debit card. That is out of date.

I don't really know how to rate the Athos. So the food was definitely tasty. But what was strange was the service. First came the side salad. Then the starter and then the drinks, even though we ordered them first. The bread was missing from the tzatziki, which we then had to order later. Despite the small faux pas, the staff was very friendly and immediately apologized for it. Prices were within the local range, portions may be a bit too small for good eaters. But overall everything is fine.

Mondays in Bad Lauterberg, many restaurants are closed. But luckily Athos was open and also has vegetarian alternatives, great! We had a sheep's cheese with tomatoes, pepperoni and onions - very tasty! For the main course we had stuffed eggplant, a dream!! We were very satisfied, the young man in service was super friendly and customer-oriented! Gladly again!

Appetizer plate for 2 people was very tasty! Service completely overwhelmed and unprofessional. Non-alcoholic drinks overpriced: non-alcoholic beer more expensive than beer with alcohol; Bottle of water 0.75 l for EUR 6.50. :-( Our main course was completely forgotten and the situation was then handled unprofessionally. We won't be coming back.
