After the renovation was completed, we ate in a particularly beautiful atmosphere. The food and service are still top. Good price-performance ratio. We'd love to come back.

The food is okay. It's different compared to other Greek restaurants because it's less grilled, you don't have to bother with side salads anymore, they have to be ordered separately. A lot of staff, very helpful! Served quickly, rather hectic and urgent!! After 1.5 hours at the latest you will receive the bill and you will definitely say goodbye with the final schnapps. Friendly meetings with friends end sooner than expected. Then the new guests will come! It's not comfortable, the dining room is very densely seated and despite the new furnishings it is still very loud.

I ate the burger from the daily menu. I wanted to try something different and wasn't disappointed. Definitely order a table in advance as it was very busy and surprise guests would not have been able to get a seat. I don't know if that's always the case.

Been there for the first time since the renovation. The renovation was very nice and the service was top notch. Unfortunately, finding a parking space is a disaster because I don't think it's possible to spend 5 - 10 minutes looking for a parking space.

After the renovation, it was loud like a market hall in Piraeus. You almost had to shout to be understood. Prices have also been increased and in addition to the rest, the side salad has also disappeared.

The best Greek restaurant we know. There are no mass-produced snacks here, but rather high-quality dishes of the best quality. Thanks to the weekly changing menu, even regular guests like us won't get bored. And the renovation in summer 2024 significantly upgraded the interior. 🤩

Once again we ate a really tasty meal. Delicious Greek specialties, far beyond gyros and suflaki. Update! We were there for the first time after the renovation. We always enjoyed it very much and were therefore really looking forward to the evening. We are vegans and the selection of vegan dishes is great. Everything was extremely tasty. Unfortunately, there is no vegan alternative for the dips, which are brought directly to the table with bread. When we pointed out that we only eat vegan, they were simply removed without replacement. It's a shame, a little olive oil and salt would definitely be possible, right? We were also really unlucky with the table we were assigned. This was right next to the door and it was super cold. Every time someone went in or out there was an icy shower of air. Really uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the food is a dream, the service is attentive and friendly. Of course we will come back, but then to a different table.

Unfortunately we have to say that this restaurant has gone downhill in recent months. After we were quite disappointed in December last year (forgot to make a reservation, meat inside was still partially raw, forgot starter, no request for further drinks, no apology or small compensation) we have now visited the restaurant again. The ambience after the renovation is very nice. This time the food was well done but it didn't taste anything special. The gyro wasn't crispy and totally greasy, the mayonnaise tasted really old, like it was about to go bad. The bread for the tzatziki starter was burnt. My re-ordered beer was completely forgotten and they didn't even ask for drinks. When we had eaten the starter it wasn't until 30 minutes later that we asked if we could continue. Sorry but that wasn't the quality and service we used to know. Too bad.

A great restaurant in the heart of Unna Uelzen. The food looks fantastic and tastes very, very good too. Unfortunately, you can't enjoy the food uninterrupted. The sun is shining outside and it is 23 degrees and the restaurant has a big fly problem. Yes, you read that correctly... Of course there is a lot of different food in a restaurant and unfortunately a lot of waste is created. But so many flies came while we were eating that it was no longer possible to enjoy the food. We weren't the only ones with the problem; other guests had to give up their salad because the food simply became inedible. Just to clarify, yes, it is warm and we are in a restaurant. But I haven't experienced such a plague of flies while eating.

Great, successful conversion to a chic yet comfortable ambience, the old mustiness is gone. Greek cuisine reinterpreted and excellently implemented. The service is a real team! A successful evening. Thanks!

Last Saturday we went bowling again for the first time since the renovation. Unfortunately nothing was done to the bowling alley. Bulbs defective and not replaced. Carpet loose and wrinkles, not glued (risk of injury). The lounge areas have been halved so that you can only sit there with 8 people. Food was good as always.

For a starter we shared fried feta, which went very well with honey and sesame. For the main course I had a bifteki with rice and saziki. The portion was good, as was the rice. Unfortunately the meat was a bit dry and the spices were OK. You can definitely get something out of this. My partner had fish, which was unfortunately too dry. It's all a matter of taste, we like it a little juicier and not cooked through. We skipped dessert. We really liked the atmosphere. We were there in summer and the terrace definitely invites you to spend longer evenings. Inside it is clean and modern. The staff was very polite. Unfortunately, my partner's Lillet Wildberry was a bit watery, but the ice-cold beer was a dream. We would still come back and let us know beforehand that we like it a little juicier.

We ate here today and we all enjoyed it. The card leaves little to be desired. As always, the restaurant is full. The service is friendly and accommodating. A small deduction for the men's toilet, it looked a bit unkempt and socket distributors were open on the wall. But that will definitely be addressed. We would be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend the restaurant.

Yesterday we went to the Greek restaurant in UNNA Uelzen again. The food was sensational as always, unfortunately the service was very poor. Drinks are only served approximately 20 minutes after ordering. When you've finished drinking, none of the 8 waiters who are constantly walking around in the garden come up with the idea of ​​asking if you would like to drink something else. Overall, we will only be ordering more in the future. Unfortunately the service is catastrophic, glasses, plates and cutlery are constantly flying around. The food is sensational and can only be recommended, but unfortunately the service is no longer what it once was.

The cuisine here is positively atypical for a Greek restaurant in Germany, as it is varied and also has changing dishes. The classic 08/15 menu is also available here, but not exclusively. Unfortunately it is very hectic in the restaurant and also very loud. The tables are very close together. It reminds me of a canteen. The food is good. The service was a bit chaotic, sometimes no one came, then four people in a row. The forces should be allocated better here. I'll come back, but then I'll test the beer garden, it's just too uncomfortable inside.

Very tasty starters and main courses! Dessert was also very tempting, but it didn't fit anymore. The service was super fast, even though it was very busy (Saturday 7 p.m.). Furthermore, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. After the main course, we were able to go outside and enjoy one or two drinks and ice cream for the children. We had dinner at the Acropolis yesterday, all in all it was a very nice evening. The food (in terms of taste) and the service were really top. I personally have two things to complain about. 1. The knives are blunt, cutting meat becomes a test of patience. 2. The doneness of the meat was a little too high. All the waiters were very friendly and attentive. Price-performance ratio is completely ok for today's times. The portions are decent, if you can't make it you can have the rest packed up if you wish. We would love to come back again.

After our regular Greek company drastically increased the price, we were looking for a new one. Restaurant. We weren't disappointed, even the reservation on the phone was friendly and accommodating. The selection of food. comes very close to the real Greek kitchen. You can find a lot of great things, especially Mezes. The service is extremely quick and, above all, friendly. All wishes are promptly fulfilled. Everything tasted very good and more than enough. A little tip and wish. The benches urgently need a new cover, they no longer look inviting. Today six of us went to the Akropolis for a company dinner. In short, the restaurant can be recommended without any ifs and buts... Excellent service, excellent food and drinks and a very reasonable price guarantee a successful stay. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, the only problem is the on-site parking situation. The parking lot fills up relatively quickly and you have to search the side streets in the small town of Uelzen for a suitable parking space if you are traveling by car. Conclusion: full marks and clear recommendation!

In the past, both the food and service have always been very good at this restaurant. Unfortunately, this can no longer be said today. While the quality of the food remains unchanged, the service has been scaled back considerably. For my birthday, I wanted to reserve a table for 6 people about a week in advance and asked to sit in the smaller area to the right of the entrance. This was promised to me on the condition that no larger group would claim this area as their own. Although there was no response, I still wanted to make sure and call again the day before my birthday to ask. Only then did I get the message that my reservation was not possible. The alternative is a table for 4 + a small table that would be moved. Since the volume on the left in the larger area of ​​the restaurant has now become unreasonable for conversations, this option was no longer an option for me. When I called a second time to cancel my reservation, I was only told that I should call again in an hour because there was no time now. I find this behavior anything but customer-friendly. Apparently there is no longer any need to concentrate much on the service. I can only recommend trying other local restaurants with the same cuisine.

I was lucky and got a table for 2 people without a reservation. The staff gave us great hospitality and were very attentive. We have rarely been served meat (No. 55 + 58) that was cooked so well on point. It was 100% successful here! Our starters (No. 1 + 4) are also highly recommended. Since I didn't eat everything, I was asked if I wanted to take the remaining food with me and if I could pack it up for me. Another thank you for this attention! Thank you very much for this spontaneous and really excellent culinary delight.

Went there on a recommendation because it was probably the Greek restaurant in the area, which was reflected in the abundance of the restaurant. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait a short time and then we were only in the middle of the fast section, but luckily we were able to change. The menu is extensive and in the medium to high price segment. Unfortunately our order was taken completely incorrectly. This was noticed when the side salad was brought in advance, whereupon we explained what was correct (there was only one small change). Unfortunately, both dishes not only arrived about 10 minutes late, but despite the previous correction they were still wrong and after 10 minutes I didn't want any more fries. The souvlaki, like the gyros, was OK, rather dry and middle class in relation to the price. The side salad is pure coleslaw with a little carrot and, like the tzatziki, without any kick. When asked several times whether everything was okay and the answer was that it wasn't, there was always a hustle and bustle at the table and an unpleasant atmosphere as a result. A pity. We paid the full price despite the wrong dishes.

We always enjoy coming back to the Akropolis Unna. Although it is busy, you can usually still find a place. The food is very tasty, the portions are filling and the prices are still reasonable. The staff is usually quick and on their toes. We'd love to come back!

We have been happy to be guests at this restaurant for over 30 years! It IS still one of the best Greek restaurants in Germany (and we have visited many in other cities). Our subjective impression: The taste and creativity of the dishes have improved. The price-performance ratio is still TOP! The service is always friendly too. The weekly menu always offers an interesting alternative to the “normal” menu. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Unfortunately it will be the last time (possibly) that we will go there, service was nice, everything was great, there's nothing negative to say. The ambience is getting old and you're actually a bit disgusted sitting down on the very worn chairs (but that It's just my feeling, for example the other people who were with us didn't notice it at all, so maybe I'm a bit sensitive on this point). Disappointing. Carelessly prepared bifteki. We ordered this dish without sauce. A salad was served beforehand. The Bifteki was available without any decoration, be it a lettuce leaf etc... and for €19.50 including fries. We also ordered tzatziki separately. This little bowl came with more 3 € charged. From my point of view, the relationships no longer fit here and that has nothing to do with the VAT increase either. My colleague had the wrong food picked up and brought to her. That's not a reproach, mistakes happen. The ordered food was then served about 10 to 15 minutes later. The meat was still raw in the middle...complained again... If they had at least accommodated her with the bill, she might have been served a dessert at the house's expense, but no, the full amount was charged. Was always our Greek number 1. Unfortunately I have to revise that at this point.

When asked, the food was taken to the kitchen, but then brought back to the table and charged for. However, we rejected the food because it was not edible. The first starter didn't arrive until 45 minutes later and at 7 p.m. we were basically thrown out, even though we had ordered dessert. Very disappointing.

The food is always delicious, no matter which dish you choose. Requests are taken into account, which is a great service. We always enjoy coming here. If we happen to be there too spontaneously and don't get a seat, we take our food home with us. A table reservation in advance is mandatory here

Here you come to the table with friends. Great and warm, friendly regular team (really super pleasant, the fact that there is no constant change always speaks for a good team spirit), high-quality Greek cuisine in a "historic" restaurant, far beyond an "insider tip". Reservations are absolutely necessary even during the week!! What's particularly nice now is our own little Christmas market in front of the door. Thank you for the lovely evening and see you soon!

Ganz nettes Restaurant. Das Essen war echt super und das Personal ist freundlich, allerdings gibt es viele Punkte Abzug, da man in der Regel 1-1,5 Stunden warten muss bis man überhaupt essen kann. Wir haben alleine mind. 40min. gewartet um überhaupt zu bestellen. Dazu ist es recht teuer und die Sitzbänke sind absolut abgeranzt. Es ist quasi fast garkein Leder mehr auf der Sitzbank vorhanden. Also gehobene Klasse und gemütliches Restaurant ist was anderes. Und wer Parkplätze haben möchte, sollte möglichst nicht zur Hauptzeit kommen. Aber der Rest war ok.

Das Essen ist super lecker und das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Meist ist es allerdings sehr voll und man sollte definitiv reservieren.

Mein Mann empfahl dieses Restaurant und ich war positiv überrascht: eine reichhaltige Auswahl an Speisen, die nichts mehr zu tun hat mit den fleischüberladenen Gerichten, die man sonst bei griechischen Restaurants erlebt - aber nicht täuschen lassen: die Portionen sind trotzdem sehr großzügig! Alles ist hervorragend abgeschmeckt. Und dann verfügt das Restaurant noch über aufmerksames und freundliches Servicepersonal - hier war ich nicht zum letzten Mal!

Speisen aus der Wochenkarte, insbesondere Steaks, sind meine Empfehlung.
