Atelier F in Hamburg

Aufgrund fehlender Ideen gingen wir ins Amelies F. - am Empfang sollte man warten, um zum Platz geführt zu werden. Leider kam niemand-auf Ansprache war der Keller recht genervt. Wir bestellten und bekamen nach einiger Zeit unser Essen. Einige von uns hatten das Tuna Tatar. Also nicht wirklich der Bringer. Der Fisch war zwar salzig durch Soja, aber null abgeschmeckt. Nun denn, es kann ja nicht überall toll sein

I thought the atmosphere was great, and the service was really nice and accommodating. To be honest, I was negatively surprised by the food. The burgers were ok, but unfortunately the Ceaser Salad tasted too much like eggs. The breads & baguettes were catastrophic. We would come back to eat. I would still try coffee...

Well, American-French is very exaggerated. Both burgers were medium (managed), but the taste was bland and uninspired - it looked better than it tasted. Burgers have to taste juicy and full of umami - but not like this. Every burger from the In and Out chain in California tastes (and costs) a galaxy away from the ones here. Tartar similarly bland and unsexy. Price:performance ratio is not correct. Sorry for my frankness. Service but very friendly.

On Monday I went here for dinner with a friend. We were looking forward to a private, cozy area - unfortunately we couldn't use it, although there were apparently still free spaces. Instead, I was placed in a window seat in the front area, which I found to be less comfortable, while the back area seemed much more inviting. This made me feel cold frequently during our stay. For dinner I ordered a chicken burger, which was tasty and crispy, but unfortunately a bit too dry. The sweet potato fries were fresh and very tasty, and my Alster water rounded off the meal satisfactorily. The service was friendly and accommodating, but I would have liked to have made an effort to better tailor the seating to my reservation and my well-being. Overall, I liked the restaurant, but the inappropriate seating allocation unfortunately spoiled the evening.

Nice atmosphere, unfortunately the quality of the food isn't that good. Burger still OK, fries mediocre, the mayo unfortunately not very appetizing even with the crust.

Unfortunately just an okay. The restaurant: Easily accessible, the atmosphere is great, cozy niche, comfortable and bright. The food: Unfortunately the fish was dry and the simple fries had little taste. However, the sweet potato fries are recommended, well seasoned and a good mix of crispy, soft and tasty. The bun on the burger was dry but the patty was juicy and tasty. Tarte flambée was also good, plenty of toppings and very flavorful. The service: In my opinion, unfortunately poor. In the meantime we weren't asked once if we needed anything else. I wanted to keep a menu at the beginning and take a look at the desserts at the end, but I was refused and said that I could ask for them later. Too bad! There is still room for improvement.

Overall the visit was okay. The ambience is nice, some of it has a beautiful design and cozy separate rooms. The service on Sunday was casual and normal. The food was okay, but in my opinion it was way too expensive in relation to quantity and price. Coffee tastes good - but nothing special. In my opinion, the packaging promises more than what is inside. I recommend everyone to see for themselves.

Chic shop with small niches and individual wallpaper. Something different. In terms of taste, I didn't have any wow effect. The Accai Bowl consists mainly of frozen mustard, very little walnuts and even fewer blueberries. Way too expensive for what you get. Too bad. The orange juice was delicious :) But I don't necessarily have to go there again.

Great food, friendly staff and really cool ambience. The only complaint was the gaps in serving. Some of us were already finished and the others didn't have any food yet. But it can happen. We'll be back! Great shop!

Despite a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes at the entrance until we were brought to the square. Selection, portions and prices were good.

We went to this restaurant with high expectations and were unfortunately very disappointed. The burgers used to be as shown in the pictures and very tasty. Today, however, they were unimaginative, half-raw and cold. The service asked whether it was tasty, but showed no reaction to our negative feedback. Unfortunately, the best part of the whole meal was the wet wipes afterwards.

In the last year, “Atelier F” has further established itself in the city of Hamburg as something “special in everyday life”. The menu has been carefully adapted to demand and offers even more possibilities for a wide range of combinations with a French twist.

Never saw a place that charges for tap water. At least the invested in Dyson hand dryers and above average paper napkins Sweet potato fries were really good. Burger was alright.

Slow serving. It took almost 20 My before a waiter came and the place was definitely not full. The food came fairly quickly. We ordered e.g. a tomahawk steak and the meat was actually of fine quality, but fried very hard on the outside and completely blue in the middle. We noticed that a lot of guests were sitting and waiting for service, which meant that a couple left the place again.

The reception was terrible and downright unpleasant. The food was very fatty and the cheese on the burgers was BLACK. Not recommended and I certainly won't be back!

The chicken tenders were greasy, the salad had too little chicken, the cheese of the BBQ burger was burnt, cheddar cheese was black. The crunchy chicken burger was very minimalist, lettuce leaf 🥬 and there was nothing left over. The ambiance was nice, the service was really bad, the employee was not enthusiastic, it was difficult. You don't really feel welcome. Positive point: cloth for oily fingers with lemon scent is very nice. Not recommended!”

This is the third time I've been there. It is a very pleasant and tastefully decorated restaurant. The dishes are very interesting and delicious. I found something delicious on every visit. I must also highlight the Separee in which you can spend the evening comfortably. Unfortunately, there is a small negative point. This time it took a little longer than usual for the table to be cleared and the drinks to arrive. It seemed a bit like the staff was a little understaffed that evening. But there is still a clear recommendation.

The food is ok and the location is very good

Food was great, I had the corn-fed chicken and mac n cheese - they were some of the best mac n cheese I've ever had! Unfortunately the waitress had a bad day - you had to wait at the front to be seated. After no one came for 5 minutes, we found the waitress sitting in the far corner of the restaurant. Despite a largely empty shop, we were seated very poorly and were then given another table when we asked. The food came quickly and was delicious - full marks for that! We also had to wait a long time for the bill. Please improve the service!

Once and never again. Service at the table and quality of the food was okay. The problem is that access to the barrier-free toilet is only granted upon personal request. The communicative irregularities of the blonde service employee at reception are even more unpleasant. I followed the address from the internet; Great Bleach 31. You land in a backyard. Finally, I entered the restaurant through the emergency exit without any malicious intent. The blonde gentleman with the beard “welcomed” me and told me that I should use the front entrance on my next visit. The fact that this was my first visit to Atelier F and I only followed the address was of no interest. I told the gentleman that this way of dealing with guests was a reason for me not to come back. The knee-jerk response was an “if you say so” and a shrug. What tragedy lies behind the concept here?

The Atelier F restaurant is a very nice restaurant, with a very nice location. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately we didn't make a reservation that evening, but we still got a high table in the middle. Now to the food, for starters there was beef tartare with a quail egg (already not very attractive), my friend had the tuna tartare. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't at its best, the meat didn't taste of good quality at all and was therefore way too expensive in terms of price-performance ratio. For the main course I ordered an entrecôte (medium rare) and my girlfriend ordered the boiled beef. My friend's dish, at least she said it was delicious. My entrecôte, on the other hand, was not medium rare, but done... can be explained as follows: An entrecôte with 250g is offered on the menu. The chefs probably don't take the cooking loss into account, so the 250g quickly turns into 200-220g after roasting. Every good cook and hobby grill master knows that at least 300g is needed for a good piece of meat (especially for this price) in order to produce a decent level of doneness. Conclusion: If you don't have high expectations and want to spend a lot of money, I can only recommend Atelier F. Best regards N. The food was great. I can especially recommend the lamb fillet. The rest is unfortunately just mediocre. We had a reservation for 7:15 p.m. When we arrived we were told they had a table until 8pm and whether that would be ok. But we wanted to sit a little longer, which is why we got a table in a very bright, noisy room... not what we had hoped for from the reservation. The staff was nice but very anxious to clear all tables quickly and ask guests about payment. Another big negative was the smell... when we left the restaurant we discovered that our hair and all our clothes smelled like frying oil.

Very great restaurant with pleasant prices! The restaurant has a variety of different dishes. From salads to tarte flambée to burgers, everything is included. The service was very good and quick. Definitely worth a visit.

Really nicely decorated restaurant. Featuring French American cuisine. A highlight are the individual seating booths, where the waiter also serves through the wall. In terms of price-performance level, it is an upscale kitchen The beef tartare is highly recommended. Currently I think it's a bit of a shame that the wings and ribs have been taken off the menu. In return you get chicken tenders. The menu is rather standard and not fancy but of very good quality.

Food is ok. The location is chic but very loud. So nothing to have a nice chat about.

Everything's great. The service is very nice, not intrusive, the surroundings and atmosphere are perfect for meeting friends. As for the food, fries with truffle are great, but the steak tartare is torn, gray and stale, with almost no additives. Like ground dog - I'm sorry, but it didn't happen next to steak tartare. A big disappointment because I love this dish and I felt a bit disgusted with it, as did my companion.

Elegant and exquisite. Their Monster Burger 🍔 was some thing feels up your hunger and desires. Their service is on point and helpful.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere.

The food is truly excellent and the menu offers a diverse selection of interesting dishes. I always like to come here after a shopping trip. However, I have to deduct two stars because of the behavior of the blonde waiter. He doesn't seem attentive and doesn't create a pleasant atmosphere for the guests, rather the opposite. Other table neighbors also had a similar impression.

Unterirdisches Serviceverhalten. Als wir nach über 60 Minuten nach unserem Eintreffen im Restaurant gefragt haben, wann wir mir unserem bestellten Essen rechnen können, bekamen wir vom unqualifizierten Servicepersonal einen Spruch reingedrückt, die Speisenqualität war mangelhaft. Jetzt wissen wir, warum kaum Hamburgerinnen und Hamburger da waren. Unser Fazit: TouriAbzocke in bester Lage!

Zwischen Platz nehmen und Bestellung aufnehmen sind 30 Minuten vergangen. Und dann hat es noch einmal 50 (!) Minuten gedauert, bis das Essen kam. Service zudem sehr unfreundlich.

Modern and large restaurant near the Jungfernstieg. Fusion cuisine is served. Because the restaurant is comparatively large, I didn't find the atmosphere particularly cozy. The selection on the menu was clear. There are also various vegetarian and vegan options. The food was rather average for my taste. A comparatively high price is charged for this, but the price-performance ratio didn't convince me. However, the team was very friendly and professional. I was able to pay conveniently by credit card.

Sorry, I had a plastic part in my meal and they didn't even apologize. When we got the bill we asked again what kind of plastic part it was. Just a short answer from the cellar: “I don’t know – I left it in the kitchen.” You don't get replies to messages on Instagram.

The ambience is outstanding. The food was excellent and very nicely prepared. Compliments to the kitchen. Unfortunately our waiter had a bad day today. With a lot of kindness I was able to put down his arrogance somewhat. But kindness would have been nicer. But I'll give it another chance when I'm back in the city center.

Atelier F. wurde uns empfohlen. Das Lokal ist wirklich nett aufgeteilt und in einer der Nischen sitzt man auch ruhig und privat. Wir waren um 20.15 Uhr am Samstag Abend da. Nachdem einige Minuten nach der Bestellung die Getränke kamen wurde uns mitgeteilt das wir keine zwei Gänge (Vorspeise und Hauptgang) bestellen könnten. Grund wären große Gruppen im Haus. Während wir im Restaurant saßen waren ca. 25% des Lokals belegt. Sollten Plätze im O.G. oder im Keller vorhanden sein nehme ich alles zurück. 😀 Also bestellten wir für meine Frau und mich jeweils Vorspeise und Hauptgang gleichzeitig. Um es kurz zu machen: Mein Steak und Ceasar’s Salad waren OK. Mehr auch nicht. Die Sauce Bernaise war aus dem Tetrapak, Die Burger der Kinder gibt es an vielen Plätzen in HH besser und günstiger. Ist aber OK. Sie hatten Hunger. Meine Frau hatte Thunfischtartar und einen Ceasar‘s Salad gleichzeitig bestellt. Das Thunfischtartar war leider mehr als lauwarm, der Teller ebenfalls vorgewärmt. Bei rohem Fisch eher ungünstig. Der Salat wie bei mir O.K. Der Service war bemüht. Das war es aber auch schon. Zwei unerwartete Zwischenbestellungen wurden augenrollend vom Service entgegengenommen. Über die Preise schreibe ich nichts, die kann man einsehen. Fazit: Kann man vielleicht machen, aber muss man nicht. Wir kommen zumindest nicht mehr wieder.

Atelier F have been around a while, ten yesrs, give or take a year. One thing that hasn't changed is the mediocrity of the food. The menu makes promises that the kitchen can't keep; what sounds excellent on paper is a letdown in reality. On a very hot and sunny afternoon we sat on the terrace next to the canal. The location is unbeatable; also, the interior is very nicely styled. What service lacks in professionalism it tries to make up with enthusiasm and one man was checking his messages with one hands while wiping tables perfunctorily with the other.

Disaster! Dirty table, unfriendly waiter, and my steak was completely cooked instead of medium. Never again!

The breakfast menu on Sundays is a big recommendation! Very tasty and good value for money.

We came expecting mussels, but unfortunately they were no longer available. Not bad since we didn't feel like eating a burger so we just wanted a bottle of water. I had the pleasure of being served by Franziska and her team at Atelier F and I have to say the service was absolutely first class! Franziska was incredibly attentive, friendly and professional, ensuring we were comfortable from start to finish. Her colleagues were also always helpful and worked together harmoniously as a team, which rounded off the entire visit perfectly. The food was outstanding, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also really inviting, you immediately feel at home. All in all, a fantastic experience – we would definitely like to come back!

Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend the Atelier F restaurant. Today I was in front of the restaurant with my heavily pregnant wife and we stood - in 30 degrees - at the sign that said: "We will seat you." After five minutes of waiting, during which two employees deliberately ignored us, I decided to take the initiative and went into the restaurant. There I met a young man in a white shirt and black pants. When I politely asked whether we should be seated or sit down ourselves, I only received an arrogant answer as I passed by: “Sit down,” followed by a shake of the head. When I asked him politely that we would at least like to be greeted, I was simply looked at questioningly, without an apology or a friendlier tone. I can't accept something like that, so I decided to go to another restaurant, Ponton - where we got fantastic service and great food. Atelier F, on the other hand, disappointed us in every respect. Friendly service should be a given, especially in the catering industry. Unfortunately, this was not the case here at all.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my last visit. The quality of the food and the friendliness of the service staff have deteriorated extremely. An incorrect drink order was brought and the waiter seemed annoyed when we pointed it out to him. The food looked good, but the taste was disappointing. The chicken tenders were absolutely tasteless and the BBQ sauce seemed cheap. Unfortunately, the tarte flambée also had no taste; even after we seasoned it with lots of salt, pepper and Tabasco, it remained bland. It's a shame because the ambience is really nice, but at these prices I expect a lot more

Good quality food and great exterior location and pretty interior with small private lounge

Sono stata in questo ristorante a pranzo, l'arredamento è molto curato e particolare, abbiamo mangiato all'interno di una sorta di "saletta" con morbide sedute di velluto e una carta da parati con le farfalle. Il nostro cameriere è stato molto professionale e disponibile, anche nel consigliare qualche piatto. Ho mangiato un burger vegano fenomenale con "straccetti di pollo" plant based e verdure grigliate. Uno dei miglior burger mai mangiati! Unica nota dolente il prezzo un po' alto, abbiamo speso circa 30€ a testa.

We had a birthday party with 10 people there. Unfortunately the visit was rather disappointing. The location is really sensational and the interior is also very appealing. However, the staff was apparently surprised by a high rush and was completely understaffed. Instead of turning away guests, tables were occupied in a friendly manner, which unfortunately meant that we had extreme waiting times and were hardly served. For example, the ketchup was delivered when the chicken tenders had already been eaten, and there was no wine service at all. Things were forgotten several times. The quality of the food was rather mediocre. Really just average and nothing more. The chicken burger was extremely dry. The beef fillet was good. The restaurant management responded kindly to our criticism and invited us for dessert and coffee. It's a shame, we won't be coming back and would advise against a visit given the price-performance ratio.

Ich speiste sogar zwei Tage hintereinander hier, denn es war wirklich nicht schlecht. Vielleicht nicht herausragend, aber ich hätte ja nicht wiederkommen müssen. Am ersten Abend hatte ich einen Salat Niçoise. Am zweiten Abend ein Steak Madame (medium), mit Sauce Béarnaise und Trüffelpommes. Das war alles sehr ordentlich. Die Bedienung war flott und freundlich.

I don't understand some of the bad reviews. Above-average food, brilliant concept with French American dining, nice, courteous service and also a fantastic location on the Fleet. It's hard to find food this quiet and of such good quality in the city anymore. Keep it up! I'll be back!

Wir es waren zu viert dort. Meine Frau, ich sowieso ein junges Paar auf Kurzurlaub in Hamburg.. Das Lokal befindet sich in der wohl exquisitesten Ecke in der Hamburger Innenstadt. Das Publikum dort ist entsprechend "Yuppie" Die Atmosphäre ist sehr ruhig. Man kan sich super unterhalten ohne sich anzuschreien. Es läuft keine nervige Hintergrundmusik. Das Essen ist gut aber nicht herausragend. Alles sieht schön aus. In der Küche gibt man sich offensichtlich Mühe einen Crossover zwischen Europäischer Küche und Amerikanischem Fastfood herzustellen. Das gelingt nur bedingt. Ich hatte eine Chickenburger bei dem das Fleisch leider sehr trocken war. Aber das lag vielleicht an meiner Wahl des Essens. Positiv hervorzuheben sind noch noch die zahlreichen Optionen für Vegetarier und Veganer. Die kommen hier definitiv auf Ihre Kosten.

Unfortunately, that was the worst restaurant visit ever. I don't usually write reviews, especially bad ones, but I've never experienced anything like this. We are on August 8th. Been there and ordered a burger with fries. My companion was given the wrong burger and I was then allowed to start eating alone. When I was horrified to discover that my burger was too raw, I kindly pointed this out to the waiter. He contradicted me at first, but then let the burger go back in annoyance. A few minutes later the same burger I sent back came back. This time it was completely done, rock hard and even less edible than before (apart from the fact that the burger, even if properly prepared, would simply have been nothing special and not worth the money). I'm also pretty sure that the nibbled burger shouldn't have been put back on the grill for hygiene reasons. As if that wasn't bad enough, the next shock came when paying. Of course I still had to pay the full price and there was no excuse. When we left the restaurant, I realized that I had been charged too much money. We went back and I asked for the bill. At first I didn't notice that he had charged me twice for the fries and apologized. I'm pretty sure he noticed the mistake when he was cashing out and was just hoping I wouldn't notice. When I went back in a huff, I heard whispers from the waiter and his colleague and immediately demanded my money back, which he then handed me in cash without comment. Service, food, even the toilets were unacceptable and just catastrophic. There are so many great shops in Hamburg, you can save yourself this one with a clear conscience. The whole spectacle seemed like a tourist trap to me. I would love to give minus stars, but unfortunately that's not possible. If I had seen all the bad reviews sooner, I would never have sat down at the table.

Delicious food in a great atmosphere and friendly service

The food was very good and so was the location on the Fleet. You should definitely try the Tropical Bowl, a real summer hit.

An einem Samstag war ich dort mit ein paar Freunden. Das Atelier F kann ich nicht empfehlen. Es herschte ein Massenbetrieb, das Personal war unfreundlich, das Essen war kalt. An einem Personalmangel kann es nicht gelegen haben, denn die Kellner standen gelangweilt unweit unseres Tisches und unterhielten sich. Trotz leerer Gläser wurde auch nicht gefragt, ob wir noch einen Wunsch hätten. Der Gipfel war jedoch, dass wir zum bezahlen an die Kasse gebeten wurden. Man hielt es nicht für nötig am Tisch zu kassieren, was in anderen Restaurants die Regel ist. Selbstverständlich gab es für einen dermaßen unterirdischen Service kein Trinkgeld. Es drängte sich die Vermutung auf, dass der Laden es nicht nötig hat seine Gäste anständig zu bedienen.

Top Location abseits des Trubels und am Wasser und doch mitten in der Stadt. Der Außen und Innenbereich ist sehr schön und charmant. Die Toiletten sind sehr ordentlich und gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Mit gemütlich meine ich einfach angenehmes Licht, Privatsphäre und eine sehr schöne Einrichtung. Keine billigen Trennwände oder Toiletten aus den 80igern. Die Speisekarte bietet alles und ist doch übersichtlich. Vegan, vegetarisch und sogar glutenfrei! Man kann Fisch und Fleisch wählen, die Portionen sind völlig ausreichend und nicht so endlos überladen. Hervorragend angerichtet mit Liebe zum Detail. Gern wieder!

Not recommendable. For us, service is always particularly important when dining out. The waiter seemed very unsympathetic, arrogant and snooty. Unfortunately, this didn't make us feel comfortable. When it comes to the prices, everything should actually be right. The spot by the water is very nice and the food was good. Unfortunately, the wrong items were on the invoice. We waited a very long time for the food. The neighboring table with 6 people got their food before us and ordered after us. So overall not satisfied. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Following the signs at the entrance, we waited to be seated while the kitchen staff gallantly ignored us. After about 10 minutes we went to the restaurant on our own. We were shown a table by the service without greeting us. The service at the table was friendly and courteous. Our dishes were ok, but the ambience inside and outside is what makes the restaurant what other reviews confirm.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the quality of the food because I haven't gotten that far. I just wouldn't be served. The waiter told me to sit at another table. I was alone and the table was for 4 people. But it was nice in the shade and I just wanted to eat a little something. It wasn't full. I have to say that was discriminatory for me and very hurtful. I just got up and left. I will never go there again and there will probably be a lot of people there. I'll tell everyone about it now.

Disappointing… price-performance ratio is not right at all. The food was tasteless and way too expensive.

Slowest service of all times. Food tasted good though, but may have been coz I was sooo hungry.

Very nice restaurant located at a canal near the Jungfernstieg. Great atmosphere with option to sit outside which is nice especially in summer! Great selection of food, from burger to fancier food like escargot or tartar. Staff is very friendly. Prices are rather high but still reasonable. I had a watermelon salad with goat cheese and it was perfect for a hot day when you’re not too hungry.

Wow. The fillet steak with Bernaise sauce and mac & cheese as a side dish was unique! We'd love to come back 👍👍
