Absolute impudence and unfriendliness. I went there spontaneously without a reservation. Standard restaurant with outdoor area. I was asked if I had a reservation, which I said no. I was offered a table outside, which I then took. There was a friendly waitress who, in my opinion, wasn't very familiar with the menu. I finally ordered grilled eggplant from her as a starter and a side salad. I then ordered the main course from the gentleman who spoke Turkish and knew his way around the menu. As usual, my drink came first. Then it was time to wait. Also ok. I was then brought the main course (lamb shank, frozen) with warm bread. So that my food wouldn't get cold, I started eating it. It was tasty. Halfway through the main course, the gentleman kept walking past me until I politely asked him about the salad. He couldn't know since I ordered it in the other condition. The gentleman defiantly said he wouldn't know until I explained it to him. He said he would bring me a side salad straight away. I wanted to ask about the eggplants, but he was already gone. Yes, there was something going on in the restaurant, but you should be able to serve customers properly even under stressful conditions. When I was finished with the main course I finally went inside. He was standing behind the counter, visibly stressed. I can really understand that there are stressful days. What is not possible is to leave a customer standing like that, when you have been told that it will come soon. Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that. I then thanked him ironically for the side salad that hadn't arrived. He meant Abi (big brother), which I'm certainly not for him. He justified himself by saying that he was under a lot of stress. So what??? I asked him if I wasn't a guest. Then he told one condition that they should pack a side salad for me to take with me. Huh, still ticking??? Of course I refused, which probably offended his honor a bit. Then it just got embarrassing. In his tattered honor he thought that I could have the meal completely for free. Hey, please open your eyes, I don't need your charity. Just work sensibly and don't justify yourself. Of course there was a zero cent tip. But a very clear case In my case, he failed instead of really justifying his stress. Sorry, never ever.

Said it before and will say it again: great restaurant and food.

Four of us arrived at this restaurant with great anticipation and then, when the food arrived, we were ready to leave. It may sound cliché, but we certainly received worse food than our own countrymen. When we arrived, a Turkish family was sitting next to us whose food looked incredibly delicious, with their plates generously filled. Our meal consisted of mini portions of very dry meat. Our skewers consisted of only four pieces of meat, each the size of dice. Three pieces of vegetables were stacked on the plate, and 1 tablespoon of rice. We ordered a second beer, which never even arrived. The service and food were a huge disappointment. We went home hungry.

Service was very friendly. The menu is very well laid out and the food is excellent. The ambience is a bit old but it's not a problem. The only point of criticism: the portions were a bit too small for me. But that is subjective! Quality was very good, place is absolutely recommended!

I had the hummus as an appetizer and the #305 chicken with vegetables. Overall, it was good. The hummus was quite dry and the bread served with it was cold and hard as well. The #305 chicken with vegetables did not arrive in a clay pot (as advertised) but rather in a skillet. It was good, ample meat, properly seasoned, and properly cooked. The melted mozzarella on top was a nice touch. I appreciate the very good service.

I've wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time, but I finally made it but was very disappointed. I didn't like the atmosphere at all. There were still Christmas decorations everywhere and the furniture was outdated. Lots of dust on the artificial flowers. Service was good at the beginning, then no one came anymore and couldn't even order drinks. Long waiting time after the starter. I personally didn't think the food was good. We had a starter platter for 3 people and very expensive for the price/performance ratio. I didn't like my main course, aubergine gratin, it just tasted like peppers.

We had a lovely evening here with 3 courses. The starter platter for two included various vegetables, spreads and bread. I would have expected more here. The main course was tasty, but the portion was a bit small. For dessert we had Künefe with a Çay on the house. The service was nice and attentive. What struck me negatively, however, was that there were still crumbs on the table, as well as a piece of broccoli. The furnishings were also very old and the cutlery wasn't clean. The toilets were also dirty. A nice evening in a restaurant that would be much better with a little investment and a little effort in the service.

We've been to this Turkish restaurant a few times, and it's always a delight! The food is incredibly delicious, especially the Turkish rice – an absolute highlight. The appetizer platter is also excellent, with a fantastic selection of different spreads. The service is super friendly and makes you feel at home right away. A truly recommended place to enjoy good Turkish food in a pleasant atmosphere!

Ordered by phone and it was uncomplicated and easy. The journey took about 20 minutes. Food was already ready to be picked up, even though the restaurant was completely full. At home the food was still hot and tasty and well packaged. The portions were just right, the meat was very well seasoned and prepared, the vegetables had the perfect texture and the salad with dressing was fresh and crunchy. Price performance is top

Unfortunately our visit to Aspendos was a huge disappointment. The food didn't taste good at all: the rice was completely overcooked and mushy, the meat was poorly seasoned, and the kofta were the worst I've ever eaten. The ambience also left a lot to be desired. The furniture seemed old and the table was extremely unstable. The toilet was particularly negative - the floor was not only dirty, but also sticky. The only positive thing was the friendly service, who made an effort. But honestly, I don't understand how the restaurant got so many good reviews. It was definitely not a successful visit for us.

massively disappointed in almost every way Ambiance: run-down facility that has already seen its best decades! Torn benches, outdated furniture, outdated curtains - nothing has been invested here in recent years, the music is too loud and not suitable for a restaurant, and anything but inviting from the outside Food: the rice was overcooked and almost mushy, the vegetables were undercooked, especially the potatoes! The lamb skewer, on the other hand, was left on the grill for too long, dry as usual And on top of that, a portion that is far too small for this price is absolutely not justified, I am disappointed. Service: always tried hard, if you know what I mean, I lacked sensitivity, was too rough in handling. Also not wearing proper work clothes, that's part of it for me, but on the way down to the toilet I saw someone ironing his shirt in the next room, anything but professional!! I won't eat here again!

Wir waren 3 Erwachsene, und 2 Kinder. Allen hat es prima geschmeckt. Gute Auswahl, tolles Essen und sehr zuvorkommende, freundliche Bedienung. Auch das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Schon eingerichtet, gutes Ambiente. Top, sehr zu empfehlen.

The warm starter plate consisted of a cold mini börek, a hard carrot and 5 inedible supermarket pastes. Plus the stickiest flatbread in the world. Inedible!

Super tasty. Full recommendation, we had a great mixed starter platter with really good spreads, vegetables and flatbread. Then I had the lamb skewers, which were also very good, with a mixed salad. Finally, baklava. Then there was also a raki on the house. It was very easy to sit outside, there is a large street nearby, but it was hardly a problem.

The service staff seemed unclean and unfriendly. We placed our order and they brought us salt and pepper. When the order was brought - the waiter took the salt and pepper - he didn’t even ask if we needed it. We had not yet finished our dishes - the waiter took our plates of food. I think this restaurant is worth learning about service and communication with customers. I have never seen in any restaurant that the table was cleared when the client had not yet eaten and left. The feeling remained very bad. After such service we had to go to another restaurant.

Wonderful restaurant! Was in Tübingen for three weeks and ate here every evening. The menu is varied and very tasty. I can particularly recommend the starter plate, the many vegetarian dishes and the house wine. If you're in Tübingen, it's not worth going anywhere else. Very friendly and professional service. I was eating at Aspendos with my girlfriend on July 1st, 2024 around 5 p.m. We ordered an appetizer platter as well as a princess pan and spinach börek. The starter was OK. My main course too. However, my friend was missing the meat from the princess pan she ordered. We just wanted to point out that this was forgotten. The waitress was rude, didn't let us finish speaking and reacted extremely rudely and in the end just left us standing by running away. He mean "You ordered spinach pan, I asked you twice" Just a reminder for you, because you probably haven't cleaned your ears for a while or your memory doesn't work quite as well anymore and you didn't let us talk to you on site. An appetizer platter was ordered for one person. They then asked if they wanted a platter for one or two people, we wanted a platter for one person. A SPINATBÖREK was ordered and a PRINCESS pan. You did not repeat this order as claimed. If you can't even remember 2 dishes, write it down next time or work on yourself and your attention. ... In our favor you have only charged two passion fruit spritzers instead of three :) We definitely won't come again and recommend it to everyone. Incidentally, the furnishings are partially broken, the tablecloth was not clean and there were still Christmas decorations hanging on the windows, in the flower pots, etc. at the beginning of July. As a side note, it should be mentioned that a lady who simply pointed out in a friendly manner that she should sit outside was also bullied and hit on in such a stupid way, just shocking...

I had dinner here with my girlfriend today. The waiter who served from 5 p.m. on July 1st, 2024 was the VERY last. I clearly ordered the princess plate, and he didn't ask a question because it was clear. My girlfriend ordered Spinach Börek. I suddenly got the spinach plate without chicken. When we wanted to clarify this very nicely so that this wouldn't end up being miscalculated, the Lord didn't let us say it. He was loud, rude and didn't listen to us. After that he left without being clear about what happened next. Then he served me chicken even though I said that I was eating the spinach menu but wanted to pay for it that way. He continued to claim that he asked me twice and it was my mistake. He also made it unnecessarily complicated when it came to paying - one of us had to pay for everything and the other had to give the money to the other. We can decide for ourselves, right? He then complained to a nice lady because she wanted to draw attention to herself. She was sitting outside and waiting for her order to be taken. We're NEVER coming back. This kind of service wasn't possible at all but the food was delicious.

Food could have been better, their behaviour is really good. Loved the cold and warm starter platter. They need to work on their rice. We couldn’t like it. Food portion needs to be increased or else it’s too pricey.

The Turkish restaurant offers an impressive selection of delicious dishes, including particularly succulent and aromatic meats that are seasoned and grilled to perfection. We went to Aspendos for dinner because of the good reviews. Unfortunately the experience was rather disappointing. Overall, the food tasted bland. There were 4 measly and dry pieces on each of my two lamb skewers, along with a few tasteless vegetables, a dollop of tzatziki and a portion of rice. The salad was OK. And at a proud price of €18. My companion's lamb stew was decent in quantity, but just as bland. The yeast from my non-alcoholic Hefeweizen probably stayed in the bottle. The staff was rather inattentive, cleaning the counter and busy with their cell phones. It's a shame, we probably won't come back.

The food tastes really good and is a feast for the eyes and the palate. The portions are generous. Service is friendly. We were there with 6 people and everyone enjoyed it.

The service was super friendly, as one of our dishes took longer, we all got an espresso or coffee as an apology. On the one hand the food was good, on the other hand we didn't like it/we weren't impressed. There were minor deficiencies in the furnishings that could be improved. It was also very cold inside. Unfortunately we wouldn't go there again.

The service was ok, waiters friendly. The starter, a lentil soup, was ok but I wouldn't order it a second time. The second starter, meze, was really bad, everything tasted very bought and not homemade, the hummus was disgusting, everything tasted like it had been sitting open in a fridge for weeks. Then before the main course came a salad, the leaves were already wilted and the dressing tasted so artificially sweet that we couldn't eat it. The quality of the meat on the mixed grill plate was subpar and totally over-salted, but there was no salt everywhere else. The toilets were so dirty that we didn't use them, the atmosphere was very modest, there were dusty Christmas decorations everywhere (February). We were very sorry to have entered this store. Once and never again!!

Super! um 15h oder 16h oder 21h gibt es hier noch leckeres Essen in einem festlichen Ambiente im Kerzenschein, kamen spontan vorbei und hatten 2 schöne Stunden bei gutem Essen. Der Besuch ist empfehlenswert.

Sehr freundlicher Service. Wir haben verschiedene Vorspeisen gegessen, die Teller waren sehr schön angerichtet und das Essen hat auch genau so gut geschmeckt. Ein Lokal wo man gerne weiter empfehlen kann.

Es ist ein kleines Restaurant, und wenn es voll ist, dann hat man wenig Privatsphäre, es ist zu laut. Es ist ein türkisches Restaurant, hat aber wenig damit zu tun, wenn man sich in dieser Küche auskennt. Reis war zu wässrig, Fleischgerichte zu würzig, Gemüse roh. Der Koch arbeitet nach seiner Vorstellung, nicht nach typisch orientalischem oder türkischer Küche. Es hat der ganzen Familie nicht geschmeckt. Es war schon besser hier, bevor es zu einem Besitzer wechsel kam.

Zum 2.Mal bei Ihnen gewesen, sehr gutes Restaurant, trotz vollem Haus freundlich u nette Bedinung. Ein kleines Manko. Der Espresso war nicht heiß, . Das ist ein kleines Minus. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Gutes Essen, (vor allem die Tomatensuppe mit Käse), freundlicher Service, gibt nichts zu meckern.

Dieses Restaurant hat leider nichts mit der türkischen Küche zu tun. Der Service war katastrophal. Die Süßspeise sehr geschmacklos , sehr schade! Preisklasse viel zu teuer. Ambiente sehr ungemütlich und Dunkel. Leider haben wir gesehen das Sie ständig raus gehen um eine Zigarette zu rauchen 🤢.

Wir waren jahrelang zufriedene Kunden. Gerne draussen, trotz Straße. Drinnen ist es ziemlich laut, wenn es voll ist. Das letzte Mal hat es uns aber gar nicht geschmeckt, weder meiner Frau noch mir. Der Spinat war fade, das Hähnchen trocken und zäh. Neuer Koch? Vertretung? Schade. Wir werden eine Aspendos Pause einlegen.

Tolles Restaurant, leider werden die Portionen immer kleiner. Für die Preise möchte ich auch satt werden.

Das Restaurant bietet eine schöne Auswahl aus bekannten und unbekannteren türkischen Gerichten an. Geschmacklich war das Essen top und die Preise angemessen. Der Service wiederum war freundlich und bemüht. Lediglich die Portionen hätten für gute Esser noch etwas größer sein können. Dennoch eine klare Empfehlung.

Essen hat gute Qualität, Preise sind fair und Service freundlich. Die Terrasse ist okay, liegt allerdings 30 Meter von einer stark befahrenen Straße - kein tolles Flair. Am Ende gibt es Espresso aufs Haus.

Essen war sehr gut. Update: Das Essen beim zweiten Mal war leider medioker. Ich würde den Laden nur noch für Lamm empfehlen.

Es war schrecklich - trotz glutenfreier Kennzeichnung war das Essen nicht gluten-free - die Konsequenz war eine schlechte Nacht- die Leute vom Restaurant haben keine Ahnung und verstehen noch Nichteinhaltung was überhaupt Gluten enthalten kann- allergrößte Vorsicht ist geboten! Reis angeblich gluten-free wurde mit Nudeln serviert!

Sehr schön. Nicht nur mussten wir nicht lange auf das Essen warten, es hat auch sehr im Geschmack überzeugt. Es war authentisch Türkisch wie man es sich erhofft und perfekt Zubereitet. Die Bedingungen waren unglaublich nett und aufmerksam. Hinzu kommt, dass man auf einer schnuckeligen kleinen schattigen Terrasse hinterm Haus sitzen kann. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen meine bezaubernde Begleitung und ich kommen gerne wieder.

OK essen, ist leider etwas teuer und die Suppen sind leider auch nicht so lecker geswesen. Die Bedienung war jedoch sehr freundlich!

Zu so einem türkischen Restaurant muss meiner Meinung nach Ayran dazugehören! Doch dort gibt es leider keinen Ayran. Außerdem hatten wir neben den Getränken, 4 Hauptspeisen, einem Salat und zwei Feigen Nachtischen noch eine Rote Linsensuppe bestellt, die uns aber leider vergessen wurde, zu bringen, es war dann aber natürlich nicht mit in der Rechnung. Und Manche Portionen waren etwas zu klein, (nicht alle.) Aber die Atmosphäre war sehr schön. Trotzdem hat uns sonst das Meiste sehr lecker geschmeckt! Kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! 😁 😀 😃
