Lovely hotel! Central and quiet location. Beautiful, comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast, friendly and cheerful staff even early in the morning. Cozy restaurant with a good menu and delicious food. Good beer and good wines! The restaurant staff were very attentive. The second-year apprentice was fantastic.

As part of a short trip, we stayed at the Askania Hotel for 3 nights. Everything was just perfect. The room was top-notch, the breakfast left absolutely nothing to be desired, and the half-board dinner was delicious and plentiful. The staff was attentive and cheerful. It was a very nice short break. Thank you very much.

Small rooms, easy to use for one person. Very cramped for two. More than half of the bed is under the sloping roof. Access to the bed is only possible from one side. The shower and toilet are spacious. Overall impression: very clean. Each room has a pad machine with a few free pads. A small refrigerator and safe are provided. The in-house sauna is available for an additional charge.

My wife and I are staying at the Askania several times because everything fits perfectly and is harmonious. The reception and service staff are very friendly and always happy to help with any questions. They serve a delicious breakfast, and for dinner, you can sample beer and delicious food in the hotel's own brewery. We highly recommend this place!

We visited the restaurant for lunch with a tour group as part of a day trip. Everything was perfectly prepared for so many guests. The drinks were delicious and well-chilled, and the food tasted fantastic! The portions were plentiful! The waitresses served us quickly, very friendly, and attentively! We found the restrooms to be very modern and clean! Many thanks again to the staff of this lovely restaurant and the adjacent hotel for their hospitality! After a quick "stretch of the legs," we happily continued our journey! We'd love to come back!!!

We had a very large and spacious room facing the inner courtyard, which was very quiet. Delicious apple chips were waiting for us as a welcome gift. All floors are accessible via stairs. There is no elevator, making it unsuitable for disabled or wheelchair-bound guests. The breakfast was delicious. There was a wide selection of food and drinks. The staff was very friendly and very quick to refill food. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it. Parking was free in front of the building.

We spent two wonderful days in Bernburg. The room was fine, and we even made use of the in-room coffee service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Amadeus Restaurant serves excellent in-house brewed beer, and the menu caters to all tastes. The dishes are delicious and plentiful. Not to be forgotten is the unbeatable staff in the restaurant. We can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

It's a 3-star hotel. I know many 4-star hotels that aren't as good. I was very satisfied with the room and the breakfast. Minibar prices are very reasonable for a hotel.

Clean and friendly house. The room was OK, even though we stayed in the back building and didn't have a view. It was acceptable for one night. There's also bicycle storage in the courtyard. Breakfast was excellent!

The Hotel Askania is highly recommended. The rooms are beautifully color-coordinated, with great effort. Everything matches perfectly; no expense was spared. Everything was very clean, the bathroom was a good size, and the ventilation was good. The bathroom lighting was a bit dim, but this could easily be improved in the age of LEDs. The breakfast room is attractive (in a green theme), and the breakfast is plentiful and good. Many friendly and attentive staff members are especially recommended. The home-brewed beer is especially recommended.

No, the truthful and verifiable indication that this hotel is attempting to have unwelcome, but factual and accurate, reviews removed by using clearly false claims is not "defamation." They even denied to Google that any business relationship even existed. This is extremely shabby and not a sign of decency.

The hotel is centrally located in the beautiful city of Bernburg. You can reach everything in the city on foot. The hotel and the associated restaurant are also highly recommended because of the overall nice staff.

A very, very nice hotel, centrally located with beautiful rooms. The breakfast buffet is amazing with everything your heart desires. It's within walking distance of many beautiful sights. And the staff is super friendly. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the hotel and the brewery for a weekend. The room was clean and everything was there. A good shower and plenty of power outlets were available. Breakfast was very good, with lots of treats. There was even honey from the honeycomb. Funny thing: the Nutella machine. Please note: There is no elevator. However, the hotel is still good value for money. The brewery has very tasty 😋 food and the beers 🍺 are great too. If you want to try something different: Askania Red - it has a light strawberry note. There is no artificial flavor, but special hops create a taste experience. I can only recommend it. Something special that also tastes really good.

All in all a good little hotel. Rooms are completely sufficient, the coffee station in the room is great. Small drawback, rooms can only be reached by stairs, there is no elevator. If you have trouble climbing stairs, it's not great. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has something for every taste. We had half board and dinner in the brewery, and the home-brewed beer was also very tasty. Insider tip: the red one with a strawberry note.

Top location in the center of the city. Small rooms without air con in the back building in summer. Way too hot and not really modern rooms but sufficient for one night. Service at reception is moderately friendly. Prices are OK. Breakfast can be found in the large breakfast room and there is a large selection. Unfortunately, not much healthy stuff. In the main building there is the brewery, which invites you to linger in the evening with delicious beer.

Can only rate the restaurant as we stayed somewhere else. Restaurant is highly recommended!!

Every year it takes us to the old homeland and our choice is always Aakania. Warm welcome, lovely and caring staff, delicious food. Best location on the Saale, a little pearl in Bernburg. We are looking forward to next year.😍

Note: There are 5 stars for the restaurant. Everything was delicious and great and there were no problems. Hotel operations: Check-in went without any problems. Processes were explained in detail. However, in a 3-star hotel I expect slightly more modern rooms like those shown on Booking.com. The rooms are not air conditioned, but at least there is a fan. There is no elevator (due to government regulations). We were offered to move from floor 3 to floor 2 for 15 euros. I expect something like that with 3 stars at no extra charge. The rooms were still warm and unfortunately that had nothing to do with comfort. The breakfast buffet was perfectly fine. However, we do not recommend the hotel. For the price charged, the service provided is simply not right. The employees were friendly at all times.

Practical hotel with clean and modern rooms. If you are not fit, you should make sure your room is not on the 3rd floor.

We have had 2 nights at the hotel incl. 2 x 3 course menu. Nice welcome and comfortable place to stay. Room nice and clean with good big beds, with a minibar and a welcome drink in the form of a bottle of well-chilled sparkling water which we were allowed to sit outside and enjoy... Dinner is enjoyed at the restaurant which is together with their micro brewery. There is parking behind the hotel for €7 per person. 24 hours, but we chose to stay outside the hotel as there is free 2-hour parking, and free at the weekend...

TOP recommendation. We spent two days at the Askania Hotel in July as a couple. We booked two nights with breakfast and half board through Groupon. The price-performance ratio was therefore unbeatable. Our standard double room was modernly furnished and well maintained. The morning breakfast left absolutely nothing to be desired. A large selection of jams, honey from the honeycomb, egg dishes, salmon, sausage and cheese, even a selection of goat cheese from a regional farm. In general, there was a lot of emphasis on regional products and sustainability. A special highlight for us was the waffle station and a fresh smoothie every morning. The three-course menu as part of half board was also impressive. High quality and a chef who knows his craft, we had nothing to complain about. Also worth highlighting is the friendliness and guest-orientation of the entire staff in the hotel and in the restaurant. We also liked the location of the hotel. We will definitely come back again and can recommend this hotel to other guests with a clear conscience.

This hotel was also included for an overnight stay on our Saale bike tour. This is worth an insider tip. Clever solution for charging e-bikes. Storage and locking option. Great room with lots of space. Free coffee machine and water. Breakfast with great service staff and everything you can imagine (including vegetable juice, several seasoning sauces, regional goat cheese, and much more). That was really exciting! We didn't have dinner here (unfortunately), but the home-brewed light (in 3 versions, I recommend "dark") is excellent. It's a shame you don't sell it online, you would have one more customer. All-round friendly, goal-oriented, helpful and tongue-in-cheek staff - the 5 star service is deserved!

We haven't had such a nice short vacation in a long time. Successful all around. From the staff to breakfast and dinner with matching beer 🍺. Our small dog was also very welcome and was allowed to come with us to every meal. Thank you very much for the lovely time. Highly recommended.

Uria on the toilet seat, fecal residue in the toilet. SHITTY pillows. Poorly boiled eggs couldn't be peeled. Slept poorly, didn't eat breakfast. The gentleman at reception thought it was funny. If you have self-respect you shouldn't book here

Great overall impression, rooms are ok with a highlight of their own mini coffee station. Sauna was super relaxing and the breakfast offerings and the friendliness there were extremely good.

We booked this hotel because it has a restaurant and its own brewery attached. We wanted to have a drink on the terrace around 6 p.m. Places were free. The staff said all seats were occupied. When we asked if we could have a drink in the restaurant, we were again told everything was full. We left the hotel and drank our drinks in a nearby beer garden. We had a view of the hotel's terrace. The tables remained empty all evening. How can that be? Even if a large group of cyclists stayed in the restaurant, other guests of the hotel should also be given the opportunity to have their drinks here. This annoyed us very much. A reason for us not to come back. Room ok. and staff friendly at breakfast.

The location of the hotel is optimal. We were on a multi-day bike tour when we stayed here. They are prepared for cyclists and there is a covered bicycle parking space in the hotel's own parking lot, which is accessed by a gate. The rooms are small but have everything you could want, including a refrigerator. Particularly worth mentioning is the great breakfast buffet. With such a nice greeting before entering the breakfast room, the day can only be good. You don't just get rolls but also different types of bread. It's rare to find so many different types of cheese - especially goat's cheese - for breakfast. Sweet, savory or vegetarian, everyone will find something on the extensive buffet. Recommended.

We stayed at the Hotel Askania on our way from Upper Austria to North Frisia. The reception staff were all very nice and helpful. The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. We'd love to come back.

“A house with history,” is what the old people of Bern say. But you shouldn't see everything back then. Because the here and now aaaand the future doesn't look so glamorous. On the Internet, the hotel advertises things that are actually self-evident. The rooms (that we had) were more than carelessly furnished, the parking spaces in front and behind the hotel put off bus tour companies and potential business customers. And the service "... 8 hours is enough for today, we're closing!" Is that called hospitality?!

A clear recommendation from us. We booked 5 nights/Fri/HB. Listed house without elevator with restaurant. Own breakfast room available. Very nice facility and clean and well maintained. The staff (many thanks to everyone) are friendly, nice and helpful. Oh yes, small outside seating area which we enjoyed. Food was very good.

We have been there several times as guests. No matter what, whether it's a room, parking space, a rich breakfast buffet or service, everything is great. All staff and hotel management were extremely polite and flexible. No wish is left unfulfilled here. We would love to come back and look forward to seeing you again soon. Thanks for the nice time.

Addendum 2: The hotel is now trying to have the review removed via Google, with the false claim that there is no business relationship. For this I deduct another star. Significant noise pollution from a disco party in the house until 1 am, over 50dB and bass booming in the room for 4 hours. This was neither pointed out before arrival nor was a quieter room on another floor offered when requested. If you complain later, you initially respond with a rather flimsy apology. Otherwise the store is quite ok. Except for the two individual mattresses in the double bed, not very comfortable. Addendum: later email from the manager was of a completely different character, much more accommodating and accommodating. An amicable solution was found... That's reconciling.

For breakfast there were various types of coffee, juices, muesli, cornflakes, quark, yoghurt, various types of sausage and cheese, jams, fish, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, rolls and bread. The staff was very friendly everywhere. Parking spaces (chargeable) are available directly at the hotel. The attached brewery was very nicely decorated and the food was very tasty. The house beer was also tasty. I say that as a non-beer drinker ;-) There was a schnapps from the house for everyone after the meal. A table reservation is advisable. Here too, praise to the staff.

We were guests for one night and are very satisfied. The location in the city is great, right in front of the pedestrian zone. If there's something to complain about, it's probably the (natural) street noise, which the house can't do anything about. If you are sensitive to this, please ask for a room in the annex when booking. The service is friendly in all areas, it is a pleasure to be a guest there. We were in Bernburg with a group for a long weekend and stayed at Askania through an arrangement. The hotel is centrally located in the city center on a quiet side street at night. The sights can be reached on foot. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, are small. Nevertheless, you have everything you need. Everything is very clean and we found the beds to be very comfortable. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The breakfast was rich and the food in the attached restaurant was tasty. The home-brewed beer is recommended. Parking spaces are available, but cost extra. If the hotel is full, it becomes very crowded.

Price/performance fits together here. Tea making facilities and a refrigerator. We booked an arrangement that included a 3-course meal at the Brauhaus Amadeus right next door. The atmosphere was very nice, the food was fantastic. The only drawback was that we could hardly or not at all use the wellness/fitness facilities. Unfortunately, the in-house sauna is only open until 8 p.m. (the reception is staffed) and the offer to use the nearby fitness studio (with sauna) is also difficult on the weekend because it is only open until 1 p.m. on Saturday and not at all on Sunday. But on Saturday morning, due to the bad weather, we were still able to use the in-house sauna and it is very nicely furnished, with attention to detail. An infusion bucket was also available (to make yourself), a bag with towels and a bathrobe was also provided for €7.50. Bernburg itself is a very nice little town and definitely worth a trip.

The hotel is located near the center of Bernburg on a quiet street opposite a church. You can park for free in front of the hotel, or for a fee of €7 per night in the small courtyard. Our room was on the 1st floor facing the street. We found it to be relatively quiet. The rooms are clean and sufficiently large. We were greeted very friendly at reception. The breakfast is standard and nothing was missing. We ate in the in-house restaurant in the evening. Very friendly staff who strive to fulfill the guests' wishes. The in-house brewery is highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

The rooms were very spacious and the bathroom had everything you need. The breakfast was very varied with delicious coffee and an extra from the waffle station. The evening check-in was also uncomplicated. We will definitely be happy to come back here.

The breakfast was rich, if you can't find anything there then I don't know. There was everything from salmon to sausage, cheese, several types of rolls, fruit, etc. We were satisfied.

Quiet hotel. Nice rooms. Unfortunately, despite the brewery attached, there was nothing left to eat when we arrived at 8.30 p.m., although the kitchen was open until 9 p.m. according to the notice and information, with the reason that there was nothing going on. We really liked that It's a shame because there weren't that many open restaurants in Bernburg when we traveled in January. The next day we made a reservation and I have to say the food was very tasty.

Ich habe ca. 45 Übernachtungen im Jahr. Dem zufolge bin ich extrem "nervös", wenn ich in einem neuem Hotel nächtige. Ich habe sogar unter dem Bett nachgeschaut...(Sarkassmus off)... Merke auf! Es gibt NICHTS zu nörgeln. Die Mitarbeiterin: nett, zuvorkommend, allwissend! Sie hat mir jede Frage beantorten können. Das Zimmer: Tresor, Fön, Kaffeekaspelautomat, PLatz , warm und WLAN.... alles da. Parkplatz (wg. der Stadtreinigung am Montag nötig) ? Check!! Lange Rede , kurzer Sinn ! ALLES super.... Der Kasus Knaxus kann noch das Frühstück werden. Von einer mittelgroßen Katastrophe , über verheérend bis "einfach nur Klasse" habe ich schon alles erlebt.. Ich werde berichten. Also dieses Hotel kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen...
