Apart from the cute robot cat (and before the restaurant owner claims I'm talking about the wrong restaurant: other Google reviews even have a video of this robot. It's a serving robot that brings the ordered food to the tables; it drives around the restaurant with plates in tow and stops at each table to collect the food. The display shows a digital cat face), the food was mediocre to downright disgusting in some parts. The staff were incredibly annoyed and unfriendly, except for the cute robot cat, of course. You have to wait an extremely long time for the food, and it arrives cold. As a vegetarian, I even had meat and fish on my homemade vegetable platter. If it weren't for the cute robot cat, I wouldn't give it any stars. Never again.

Candlelight All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Today we went to the all-you-can-eat buffet, which offered a wide selection of dishes. There are ready-made meals (combine-your-own hot meals and sushi). There's also a counter with fresh, raw ingredients. You arrange your own plate, hand it over to a chef, and either watch the food being prepared, or sit at your table and wait for the server to bring you the plate with the desired ingredients. Drinks and desserts are also included in the price and are free to eat. All in all, it was a successful evening with full stomachs. I highly recommend an evening with the buffet. Take your time and enjoy the selection.

€30 per person. I think that's pretty steep, because you can't possibly eat that much. Okay, drinks are included. Then the service was completely overwhelmed. Certain dishes were constantly running out and were only refilled very slowly, if at all. Some of the food was already cold. If they can't manage, they should just downsize the restaurant. We paid practically in passing. We went to the counter to do it. We could have just left (which of course we didn't), and no one would have noticed. The clientele is also pretty...well. That was definitely the last time we'll eat there.

You can enjoy the prepared dishes without any worries. Everything was very well organized and clean. The fresh fish was undercooked and therefore left me with an upset stomach later.

Things have deteriorated considerably. We were there for dinner. None of the tables were properly set; some of the items from the lunch buffet were still on them. No warm welcome, no smile, nothing at all. Strangely, it was still okay 2-3 years ago. You have to be quick at the buffet. After an hour, some items are already gone, and some of the hot items from the buffet are even cold. It's a shame, it's definitely not justified for this price anymore.

We went to the lunch buffet. The fried foods were all cold, and the rest was lukewarm. The taste was miles away from Asian cuisine. It was a total disaster.

The buffet now only offers drinks. We were there for lunch during the week. The grill is only open in the evenings and on weekends. However, there's still a large selection of food. As is the case almost everywhere, there's a shortage of staff, so clearing up took a bit longer. The self-service drinks selection is very good. Refills were quickly made when something ran out.

It was my first time at the Asia Palast in Chemnitz. I liked the ambiance. The buffet offered a wide selection of different dishes, from sushi to various sauces, meat, noodles—almost everything. It took a while for the fried dishes to be ready. But that's understandable given the number of visitors. In the meantime, you could have other snacks. The food was very tasty. The robot that brought the food to the table was certainly worth seeing. A visit to the Asia Palast is definitely worth it. See you next time.

You can get great food for 30 euros buffet and drinks

Absolutely not recommended. The food was greasy and bland, the service was poor, and the restaurant was dirty. The price per person is far too high. Overall, a huge disappointment!

Traumatic experience!!! As soon as we arrived at the restaurant (4 of us) we were not greeted by anyone and stood in the entrance area for a while. After a few minutes we sat down at a table and waited and watched, and then after another 10 minutes we asked the people next door how it worked whether anyone would come to us or not. When we were told that we had to let the bar know that we were there, that was enough for us. We gave it a second chance and sat down at the table assigned to us. We still didn't really have a plan, but then we decided to go to the buffet... Nothing doing, everything was almost empty, nothing had been refilled and that at 6 p.m. That was too much, we packed up our things and went to another restaurant.

Well, that was probably my worst experience with a "restaurant" in Germany so far. They're supposed to offer a candlelight dinner for €30.90, which was fine. Arriving at the overcrowded, noisy all-you-can-eat restaurant, we got a seat in the corner and were happy to have something to eat at the buffet. Well, almost everything was empty, or there were leftovers that didn't look at all appetizing and hadn't even been there for five minutes. The staff are stressed and not particularly friendly. The taste was also a complete flop, it had nothing to do with Asian cuisine. If you want to throw €30.90 down the drain, this is the place for you. It's unbelievable how so many people can go there.

Yes, absolutely. They serve solid Chinese cuisine at truly fair prices. If you like to eat well, well, and affordably, this is definitely the place for you. The buffet, in particular, is highly recommended. Both at lunch and dinner! I'm happy to go there.

Six of us went to the all-you-can-eat restaurant on a Saturday night. Table reservations cost €30 per person, including unlimited drinks. The food is freshly prepared. Highly recommended.

It was our first time here and we had to ask another guest how the system works. No reception, no instructions. We were given a table and immediately decided after placing our cutlery on the table that we would eat with wrapped chopsticks. The dishes were generally incredibly dirty, some of them still had food residue on them, and the glasses were greasy. There were crates of drinks in front of the bar, and wrappers and sauce bottles on a corner table. This could definitely be done better and in a way that was less visible to guests. The food was okay and refilled regularly. The staff weren't unfriendly, but we didn't feel welcome either. It was worth a try, but we won't be back.

Disgusting stomach pain, and I had a hair in the chocolate fountain! Disgraceful!!!!

We were there on a Thursday evening. The buffet included drinks. Everything was very good, and the selection was good. Some dishes (especially the desserts) could have been refilled more often. We'd be happy to come back.

That was a truly negative experience. It was like "nothing you can eat." So you pay around €30 per person all inclusive – which sounds like a reasonable deal at first, but the fact that many dishes were simply gone by early evening and were either replenished extremely slowly or not at all was truly disappointing. It's actually not legal either. You wait over an hour for the food at the grill to be ready. Our birthday party was very disappointed because many dishes (some of which were looking forward to) were simply no longer there, arrived very late, or weren't even ready.

Unfortunately, yesterday, Monday, we found the door locked. There was no message saying it was closed for vacation, nor was there any other closures. Calls weren't answered either. Other visitors were just as disappointed as we were, because it was my daughter's dream restaurant.

Even if you have a reservation, you have to find staff and ask for a table. The food is limited, but the selection is limited, and the food isn't replenished. By 8 p.m., there was hardly anything left. Service was very poor. Hardly anyone was to be seen; plates piled up and weren't picked up. I definitely won't go there again.

There are some that are delicious, and some that are really gamey and disgusting.. One meat that smells gamey makes all the food disgusting. But there are also delicious foods, so avoid the traps. Haha Ah, this cake is the best.

I'm only 16, but Adia Palace is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. My family and I usually only celebrate big holidays there, like my mother's 50th birthday. Conclusion: I'm not an omnivore, but everything I ate there was good, 4⭐️. The service was good, especially the robot, 4⭐️. The ambiance is also good; you immediately feel like you're in a 5⭐️ restaurant—well, it almost is, 5⭐️.

The food is varied and quite good. If you come on the weekend, you should get there early, as there's little choice later on. A super cute robot even brings your food directly to your table.

We waited forever for our cocktails. On top of that, the sushi was empty, and we waited in vain for a refill. The "finished" food was perfect.

I don't understand anyone who gives a good review here. The duck was crispy, but only because it was fried to death. I've never eaten duck meat so dry. And it was still at room temperature. The baked chicken was OK, although far too fatty. The fried noodles were cold, the rice was cold. The sweet and sour sauce had no ingredients at all; I didn't even know that existed. The chicken skewers were so dried out that they wouldn't come off the skewers. There was hardly any staff to be seen; no one had managed to clear the plates in 30 minutes, and the place was relatively empty. I'd also advise against the chocolate fountain. It tastes like the cheapest dark chocolate with a lot of palm oil in it. The ice cream seems to come from the cheapest manufacturer. All in all, we'll never go back. €18.90 is definitely too much for the quality, even if the drinks are included.

I was here for the first time in January. I had the buffet for around €15. I filled three plates for that price, which is fine. But I noticed even then that there was no service. Today my father and I wanted to have something from the menu and we were told that this wasn't possible and that you could only choose the buffet for €30!!! per person. That would be €60 for two people without drinks. For that money you could go to a 5 star restaurant. Furthermore, there is 0 service here. 0! Nobody says hello or goodbye, you come in and don't know where to go, the few employees all have AirPods in their ears, stand in the corner and are unapproachable. The owner is incredibly rude. No greeting, no smile, if you don't want to pay €60 for two people then please leave.... I can only advise everyone against ever visiting this restaurant. These people obviously don't want to make money, that's fine with me.

Orders aren't delivered. You pay €6 for it. They can't speak properly, so resolving the issue is virtually impossible. NEVER AGAIN!

This wasn't our first time at the Asia-Palast. But what we experienced this time surpassed everything. The food was okay. No one took our drink orders (e.g., wine). We only saw two people serving food and one person at the grill during our entire visit. Some dishes were sold out and weren't refilled. You had to line up at the counter to pay, but no one came for a long time. Therefore, a future visit is out of the question.

Very good price-performance ratio! Everything fresh and appetizingly prepared. Operating the Robocat is a real experience, especially for children, and provides variety. We have been here several times and have always been very satisfied. Reservations are recommended on weekends and public holidays.

Service means: There is a woman who clears the tables. Otherwise there is no one around to see. Food is only available with a drinks package (non-alcoholic) as self-service for €18.00. You have to drink a lot to make it worth it. If you want to pay, you can't call a waiter because there isn't one. You have to go to the checkout and stand in line. Still, the store is full - amazing.

Everything fine. There has never been any reason to complain. We always enjoy coming here. Of course, if it is completely full, you have to expect that it will be harder to find a parking space or that you will have to wait a little longer for your fresh food. We were very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. As soon as you entered, you could see that the furniture was already getting old and that every operator continued to use it. The tables were careless and none were fully set. The staff hardly exchange a word with the customer and they are miles away from the land of smiles. The plates are wordlessly taken away from you by the “cleaning staff” and disposed of in a bucket on a canteen trolley. There was enough food, but it was mediocre and sometimes very tasteless. You even had to get the drink yourself from the refrigerator, while the empty drink crates (30 pieces) were stacked in heaps in the restaurant. In summary, the ambience, customer service and quality of the food are not satisfactory.

Saturday evening super crowded, unfortunately no service, ultra loud, has a Mitropa atmosphere. It's a shame. A year ago that wasn't the case. It's a shame, I can't recommend it.

This was my first and last visit to this place. Despite the large number of guests, the kitchen did not keep up with the current replenishment of dishes. Most of the containers were with leftover food or completely empty. The prices on the website were different than in the menu, and when settling the bill, the prices were rather invented by the staff, because they did not match the prices on the menu or on the website. The lady from the service, who calculated the bill on her tablet, did not match the menu, very rude. When in a restaurant, I recommend first agreeing on the prices with the staff, because in my opinion they have a different price list for foreigners.

I think if you look at the food and ambience, this business has unfortunately seen its best years behind it. Doors in the toilet area don't close, which means there are unpleasant smells in the guest room. Interior is no longer the best and the dishes are dirty. You'll lose your appetite!!! Cleaning products (dangerous products) are freely accessible in the toilet and are dangerous for small guests. Food is not fresh, grilled food is put together by the guest and the result is something completely different. Sorry, I can no longer recommend the Asia Palast, let the service try as hard as it can.

Unfortunately, the long-awaited visit turned out to be unsuccessful. The first thing is that when the tables are occupied by approximately 75%, the food containers are empty all the time. And so about 50% of them were only filled with food. The second thing is that we came to the buffet on Saturday for 12.90 euros per person (2 people, the price of 12.90 is shown on their website) and we ordered one small water and one draft beer (price in the menu on the table) 2.50 euros. When settling the bill, the waitress charged us 18.90 euros for two people, who knows what, and added some other amounts without speaking good German. She was getting louder and louder, demanding payment of 40.30 euros. Not having time to talk to the manager of the place, I gave in to her pressure and paid the requested amount to be able to leave. I won't go back there again and I will tell everyone not to go there. The waitress did not give me any receipt, she only showed me the amount charged on the tablet.

We had been regular customers since it opened and it was my absolute favorite restaurant. Yesterday, on a Saturday evening, we were there again for a long time and it was an absolute blast. Some people said at the table yesterday that it was their last visit there. We were there right at the opening at 5:30 p.m. I had my food fried on site and took something from the ready-made buffet. About 1-2 hours later you couldn't get anywhere or you were standing in front of empty dumps. To make matters worse, you couldn't get any more plates or cutlery. I also find the two women who clear the dishes from the table very unpleasant. They approach the table, burst into the conversation or food and demand to hand them the empty glasses or plates. I had to drop my cutlery while eating to reach the dishes from the table at the back. There is a very rough tone. I don't understand how you can let so many people in when you know there won't be enough front and back. We had to cancel our visit yesterday because the atmosphere was more than disturbing. Noisy, empty food, no cutlery, etc. Under different circumstances we would probably have sat for a while and spent more of the €30, but that's how it goes. I'm really sorry about what happened to this "palace".

We ate here again after a long time because my son wanted to celebrate his birthday here. To cut a long story short: I was really disappointed. We had reserved beforehand, but no one seemed to care. We were seated at a table and in the same breath someone simply slammed the cutlery and accessories onto the table. The buffet was okay, at least what we ate. The clearing staff came by with their cart every three minutes and almost snatched the plates out of our hands. At some point that really got on my nerves! Especially because she also pushed the cart right around the table. You felt like you were in a self-service restaurant. Added to this was the unbearable noise and a rather strange audience. There is simply a lack of sensitivity here, and the cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. For me that was the last visit. The four of us paid 123 euros (especially for the two children) and it just wasn't worth it.

We were big fans of their house for many years. Unfortunately, our last visit was a big disappointment. The staff and kitchen were hopelessly overwhelmed and it was extremely loud and very unpleasant in the dining room. Unfortunately, the food from the grill was carelessly fried and dead.

When we arrived, we asked the staff if it would be possible to reduce the price a little for my mother, as she had stomach surgery and can only eat as much as an 8 year old (proof was provided). We had the feeling that the good gentleman from the staff didn't really listen to us and a price reduction was not possible. The buffet was almost empty and it was far too crowded with guests. There was almost only fried frozen food. The noodles were totally greasy and the freshly fried one came after an hour and was in the pan for maybe 30 seconds. My mother then had to leave early with my cousin because my cousin had a headache. So I was just alone at the table. As we were leaving, the waitress asked my mother who was paying. Since I was still at the table, my mother replied that I would pay. I was still eating when an EC payment machine suddenly floated over my shoulder and a voice said: “Please pay!” I held my card up to the device, but unfortunately it didn't work because we were sitting relatively far away from the cash register. She then said that I should pay for it at the checkout. So I continued eating for now. Suddenly the waitress came back and said: “You have to pay!” (I hadn’t even eaten yet). When I paid at the front, I went back to the table, where I was allowed to continue eating my now cold food. In the end, the whole evening was a total failure and it was definitely our last visit there. Absolutely NOT recommended!

Unfortunately there was little attention to the guests. Requests were not asked of the guest. Waitress simply referred to the all you can eat buffet. We couldn't see it again. However, we wanted to order from the menu. The price of the buffet is much higher. The food was quite good. They didn't ask about satisfaction either, they simply just cashed in.

The buffet is varied and delicious. But the chocolate fountain is dirty and the chocolate is rancid. It is cold in the restaurant and generally very loud. The waiters wear dirty sweatpants and pet the restaurant dog. The super loud and annoying robot waiter isn't much better. Describing the toilet situation would scare away the last guest...

The taste of the food was edible, 45 minutes after eating, 8 out of 10 people complained of immediate diarrhea and vomiting. This store should be closed immediately. It was definitely the last time we were there.

We really enjoy eating here, but you shouldn't go there on Friday evening or Saturday evening because it gets super crowded. Otherwise, be sure to reserve. Large selection, there is something for everyone! The serving robot is absolutely cute. In summer it is quite warm in there... still highly recommended :)

We went to the Asia Palace on a Saturday and it was just terrible! Completely overcrowded and guests were still being let in again and again. It's not a dining culture that you experience there, but pure cafeteria feeling and even the cafeteria is more comfortable than it is there. People fight for food at the buffet and once you've joined the long queue at the buffet and think you're going to get something to eat, you're wrong because everything is already gone and won't be refilled. We completely burned through the €30+ per person because we barely got anything to eat. For just over €30 I get much more in other restaurants and don't have to fight for food! I recommend everyone to avoid this place and go to a regular restaurant. You simply have more of it! And the excuse that there's a lot going on on Saturday and it's better to come during the week doesn't count for me. Then you have to reduce the guests or cook faster! You still ask for over €30, what an impudence!

We are regular guests and have family celebrations there because the food is very good.

We visited the restaurant at lunchtime on Saturday. Impressed by the number of dishes offered and their quality. Everything is very tasty. For lunch, the price is very reasonable, considering that there is a buffet option. We need to try dinner too. I recommend it.

Lots of food, and also really tasty at the buffet. The service is very friendly and always polite. the prices are really top top. Especially since drinks are included in the evening buffet. BUT: what could be nicer is the chocolate fountain. Cold chocolate fountain with chocolate that doesn't even taste like cheap chocolate but like that "Eisfix" chocolate icing... No thanks. So watery liquid and then cold too. You can give yourself a gift, the fountain is unnecessary and lowers the quality of the rest of the very tasty buffet. The squid rings are also delicious. But you have to be careful with raw mini squid, I smelled it after frying and had to gag so hard... Please! Make sure the fish is fresh. And there could also be water available (at least in winter) that is slightly adjusted to the room temperature. I couldn't drink it straight away, it was so cold. Definitely refreshing in the summer, but in the winter the drinks are just too cold for my liking. Maybe other guests see it differently, but my friend felt the same way. Never again ! I have never experienced such a bad buffet before, fried noodles were almost always empty, the rice was still not refilled after 5 minutes despite being advised (by now my food was cold). We wanted to use the Mongolian grill, we put 3 plates down at the same time, 2 plates came after 1 hour and 1 plate after 1½ hours! The meat was fried to death and very dark on one side, but the other side was only on the hot plate for a very short time. My seafood (which was like rubber) suddenly had a lot of red and white onions on it, which I definitely didn't add. The frog legs on the other plate were raw, something like that doesn't work! The chocolate fountain was running, but what's the point if the fruit isn't refilled? 🤔 When we complained about the food, we were told succinctly that we should come during the week, as it would be better with the buffet 🤔🤦🏼‍♂️ And you pay €30.90 per person for that?! No thanks ! Conclusion: If you like cold food and an empty buffet, this is the place for you. I advise everyone else not to visit here!

We've been there for dinner a few times. Finally we had the buffet including drinks. This is very practical because you can put large bottles and glasses on the table yourself and don't have to wait for the waiter. The food was good as always and my children like the cat robot that brings the grilled food to the table. My favorite is the sushi and battered prawns.
