First time there and never again!!!! Waited almost an hour and opened it at home and it wasn't even warm enough....and I've had much better tasting food...I can't recommend it at all

Kurz vor Ladenschluss aufgeschlagen, Inhaber wollte gerade schließen. Alle Lichter waren bereits aus und soweit alles sauber. Als wir sagten,das wir wieder gehen wollen,sagte der Inhaber wir können gern bleiben, er macht uns gern das Essen. Er bat uns ins Geschäft und wir platzierten uns. Schnell war klar, was wir essen möchten,und der Inhaber strotzte vor Freundlichkeit. Also dort gehen wir auf jeden Fall wieder hin, es schmeckt super, ist sehr günstig und große Portionen. Einzigster kleiner Punkt,es wäre schön, wenn es im Gastraum etwas Musik geben würde oder eine andere Beschallung. Dieser Inhaber hat 5 Sterne verdient! Einfach super, weiter so !!! Bis bald !!!

A large, idyllic place where you feel super comfortable as a family. We camped there and the kids and adults rode motorcross there. Just like BMX, it was really fun, we will come back at any time, everyone is super friendly, very helpful and the food was always cooked according to your wishes. We were asked about our well-being at all times and some things were organized especially for us. always happy, we will definitely come back there!! Highly recommended for families

Niedermarkt 1A visit to the Ratskeller Waldheim is always like a little vacation from everyday life for me. Although (or perhaps precisely because) it's located in the heart of the city, it feels like immersing yourself in another world for a few hours. It doesn't matter whether it's cold outside and you're seated inside in the beautiful dining room, or outside above the Zschopau River, where you can feel the warm sandstone against your back and enjoy the view. The menu is just right: not overloaded, but full of creative ideas that make choosing difficult every time. I often find myself feeling a little "sad" after the last bite that I can't try the other dish... but that's precisely the best reason to come back! I especially love the moment when the chef herself brings out the slate board and passionately explains what the season has in store for Waldheim and the surrounding area and how it found its way into the kitchen. There's something inspiring, honest, almost artistic about it, and it makes this place so unique. And then the food itself: every dish is a dream, right down to the fantastic bread salad, which is a little highlight for me. You can taste the attention to detail in even the smallest things, the joy of cooking, and the positive energy that permeates this place. For me, the Ratskeller is more than just a restaurant. It's a piece of a lifestyle, a place that empowers, inspires, and shows that gastronomy with heart and soul, soul, and genuine hospitality still exists. Thank you for that!

Bahnhofstraße 20Highly recommended! We held our daughter's confirmation ceremony there, and the food was incredibly delicious. Very friendly staff.
