Asia House in Rudersberg

In my opinion, the quality has declined significantly in recent months. It culminated in severe stomach pains for days after my last visit. It's a shame – it used to be very good. Perhaps there's a new owner? Update: After years, I wanted to give the place a second chance. I ordered for pickup by phone and specifically requested "no onions, please." When I got home, I saw that it had onions, of course. I called and asked them to please remake the dish without onions, and I would return the original one. I picked it up – trusting that it would be right this time – and at home, I saw that the dish had onions again?! At that point, you really have to question the sanity and competence of the staff. NEVER AGAIN, I can only advise everyone against it. The other dishes were also absolutely subpar. Better to drive a few kilometers to a decent Asian restaurant.

I suspect a change of ownership, and it's been a complete disaster ever since! Waiting an hour for food with small children while the rice on the table gets cold is definitely too much. To top it all off, you get the wrong food and the waiter argues with you about what you ordered... Conclusion: never again, I'd rather go for a kebab place across the street!

Perfect for pick-up, because the service is a disaster: bad-tempered, unfriendly, taciturn, and unprofessional. You'd like to blame it on stress, but we were the only customers (two people) in the restaurant. When we pointed out that the menu had black mold spots, the response was curt, but no surprise, no apology, and no attempt to sort them out. With a "So," the order would be taken. After being shouted at from across the restaurant, we decided to take our food to go. However, we had to go to the bank first because only cash payments were accepted. Customers who ordered their food by phone weren't informed of this in advance either. About a year ago, we enjoyed going there often. Now we'll think more carefully, ask around, and continue to monitor the reviews before we let another Sunday lunch be ruined.

The service has been extremely poor for several months. Unenthusiastic, rude, and unprofessional! Apparently, bad moods are being taken out unfiltered on the guests. It's a shame that something like this spoils what should have been a really good meal...

I've been a happy guest at Asia House since the beginning and have found my favorite dishes...always very, very tasty, prepared with fresh vegetables. The portions are perfectly adequate, the price is a bit higher than at other Asian restaurants, but you won't get a stomach ache afterwards; the food is cooked without any flavor enhancers. I've taken many of my friends and acquaintances there, and everyone has been delighted. The service is very friendly and accommodating. There's always a friendly atmosphere there, even among the guests, as you often see familiar faces. This speaks for itself. Requests or menu changes are always implemented immediately. My personal opinion is that eating in is even better than picking up. In summer, you can sit in a bamboo garden with plenty of shade and don't notice much traffic. There's plenty of parking, if not on the main road, then behind the "Donner" bookstore, behind the "Harran" kebab shop, or behind the town hall. Walking time is between 2-5 minutes. I'd be happy to come back anytime because I'm very impressed with the food. The lunch menu is cheaper, but the portions are smaller, but they come with an appetizer to ensure you'll definitely be full. Personally, I like the large spring roll best, freshly prepared with vegetables and chicken. My favorite is T6, roasted duck with various meats, including shrimp, and lots of vegetables in gum pao sauce. The dish is served steaming in a cast-iron pan with rice. My mouth is already watering again. ...

The half duck in red curry was fantastic. The tit pan dish, tauxi, was very good. I ordered the vegetables in the red curry extra spicy, but unfortunately it was very mild and almost bland.

Fast service and good food with a good selection of different Asian dishes

Unfortunately, I have to retract my old review from 11 months ago! There seems to have been a change of ownership! Unfortunately, the food doesn't taste as good to me anymore, and the waitress probably needs a vacation. I still like the simple Asian ambiance. It's a shame! I'll go back again to try the food. If it improves/worsens, I'll adjust my review. Old review from here: Great ambiance... and always very friendly waitresses! I really enjoy eating here! Especially for a quick lunch. The average wait time is 10 minutes for the lunch menu including an appetizer - also available for takeout. If you're driving, just park briefly on the side of the road in the designated parking spaces, or there are usually always free parking spaces behind the town hall. The spring roll(s) and Peking soup are very tasty. The Peking soup is my favorite! Flavorful and neither too thick nor too runny... and definitely fresh ingredients, and no expense is spared! In the evening, I also like the Tom Kha Gai soup with coconut milk – a dream! The dishes are the same! Fresh and plentiful, and there's a generous amount of sauce. I know other restaurants where the rice soaks up the liquid from the packaging because everything is just dry. I can always recommend the M2 Chicken Gum Pao... It's a bit spicier though – it was excellent again today. The same goes for everything with red curry and coconut milk! It's simply amazing how they conjure up a taste sensation with the ingredients! The noodle dishes are also very filling and delicious. Thanks to the team at Asia House Rudersberg for such a wonderful culinary experience :-) PS: If you can still make it, you absolutely have to try a baked banana with vanilla ice cream. ;-)

We always have great service and good food

There was a recent change of ownership. We used to love it, but unfortunately, this has nothing to do with a cozy Asian restaurant where you usually get your food relatively quickly. Ordered five drinks and four meals. After fifteen minutes, two bowls of rice and the hot plates arrived. Another fifteen minutes later, we considered going next door for the kebab. Another fifteen minutes later, the wrong meal arrived. When I pointed this out, I was told the 81 was vegetarian. Yes, fine, but I didn't order the 81 or vegetarian, but chicken noodles!!! I then had to endure a very rude scolding from the waitress. At that point, I should have sent the food back and left. Shortly after, two more meals arrived, one was still missing. So, because we were so hungry after more than an hour, we shared the two meals. When we were finished eating, the third meal finally arrived, but we didn't want it anymore. We then had to endure a very rude rant from the waitress and then the owner (?) that they were just getting that many orders in. Yes, of course, we heard that the whole time! Someone calls in and orders eight dishes and is told they can pick them up in 20 minutes – and we wait for more than an hour with two small children who, understandably, are getting more and more whiny and are eating dry, cold rice out of sheer desperation. Apparently the cook was sick, but during the time we were there, at least 25 people picked up food, so the cook wasn't sick either? The way we were treated was absolutely outrageous. We'll never be back.

Cozy restaurant with very good and authentic dishes, almost all of which are meatless. I am regularly very satisfied there.

Delicious Tai food...the price is right here...

We ate here yesterday. The food was delicious. Unfortunately too much rice and not enough sauce with vegetables for this price (EUR 15.90). The drinks are also cheap brands from discount stores and too expensive (EUR 3.90). For four people, snack-quality drinks cost over €100. I think that's too much.

When it comes to takeaway food, something is always missing even though it is charged. Better check immediately 😡

You can sit outside quite nicely, the place is still decent, the toilets are pretty old. But the food makes up for everything, well prepared and seasoned, we like to go there.

I've been here several times. It's been good so far, but today……… The meat was tough and otherwise not particularly good. .

Very good value for money. Operation very courteous, fast service. The food was good to very good. We also really liked the ambience, not overloaded with Asian kitsch but rather very stylish and tastefully designed, including the wall colors. In this laudable case, less is more. Although the crew is Vietnamese, they also cook good Thai and Chinese food. So there is something for every Asian taste. Lovely again.

Ein wirklich sehr gutes Restaurant. Einfach ausgestattet, aber mit einer sehr guten Küche. Wir würden jedem die Tom Kha Gai Suppe empfehlen, diese ist überragend und wir und unsere Freunde gehen oft nur wegen dieser Suppe hier essen. Empfehlen kann man auch die Gerichte mit Ente vor allem die in Kokosmilch. Auch die vegetarischen Gerichte sind absolut gut zubereitet. Unsere Empfehlung: Jederzeit einen Besuch wert!

A really very good restaurant. Simply furnished, but with a very good kitchen. We would recommend the Tom Kha Gai soup to everyone, it is outstanding and we and our friends often eat here just because of this soup. We also recommend the dishes with duck, especially those in coconut milk. The vegetarian dishes are also absolutely well prepared. Our recommendation: Always worth a visit!

Wir waren am Sonntag am frühen Abend zum Essen dort, man sitzt draußen an der Straße, der Bereich ist so gestaltet, dass dies nicht stört und es trotzdem sehr ansprechend ist. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen (wir hatten Vorspeisen und Hauptgericht) war sehr typisch und sehr lecker. Die Portionsgrößen absolut in Ordnung. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Preisleistung stimmt für mich hier leider nicht. Für den Preis bekommt man wo anders besseres Entenfleisch.

Hervorragender Mix aus chinesischer- thailändischer-vietnamesischer Küche. Reichliche Auswahl auch an Mittagsmenues mit großen Portionen. Die Preise haben zuletzt etwas angezogen wie fast überall. Bedienung sehr freundlich, hat sich aber aufgrund von Sehproblemen zweimal vertan, sich aber dafür mehrmals entschuldigt. Kommen gerne wieder.

Lange Zeit gab es einen Mittagstisch in akzeptabler Qualität zum fairen Preis. Zwischenzeitlich wurden die Preise deutlich erhöht, gleichzeitig ist der Geschmack auf dem Tiefpunkt angelangt. Die einzelnen Gerichte sind geschmacklich - ausser durch die Fleischsorte - kaum noch zu unterscheiden. Zutaten in billigster Qualität. Keine Ahnung, ob die Besitzer gewechselt haben ... Jedenfalls läuft es in die ganz falsche Richtung.

Top Qualität, große Portion, mega Geschmack Wir kommen wieder Schöner Biergarten vorhanden. Preise völlig in Ordnung.
