Asia Food Sushi bar in Hannover

Kam aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen und ging ernüchtert: Die gebratenen Nudeln waren okay, die Ente sehr fettig, kaum Salat-Beigabe. Die hausgemachte Limonade nichts Besonderes. Alles eher durchschnittlich.

Das Essen war furchtbar und völlig geschmacklos. Ich hatte Miso-Ramen bestellt, aber es schmeckte nach nichts. Außerdem meinte ein Mädchen, der Tofu würde nach Pi riechen. Sie aß nur den Reis und ging. Als ich den Kellner darauf ansprach, sagte er, sie würden nur mit Gemüse kochen, sonst nichts. Ich hätte mir vorher die Bewertungen ansehen sollen. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert! Da es in derselben Straße so viele asiatische Restaurants gibt, würde ich definitiv ein anderes wählen. Hoffentlich hilft das jemandem!

Hallo zusammen, wir sind zu diesem Asiaten sehr sehr oft gegangen. Irgendwann als sie einen neuen Mitarbeiter eingestellt haben und einiges schief ging, dachten wir uns wir warten mal ein bisschen und je nach längerer Zeit wieder hin. Es wurde nur noch schlimmer jede Bestellung, die wir Aufgaben wurde falsch aufgenommen und mit uns diskutiert und dann noch als wir es erklärt haben trotzdem das falsche gebracht und gemeckert aber nicht von den Inhabern, sondern von einem neuen Mitarbeiter, der scheinbar alles versteht, aber nichts mitbekommt Sag zu allem ja, schreibt es auf bringt aber stetig etwas anderes. Bitte wenn ihr authentisch und gut essen wollt geht hin wenn der neue Mitarbeiter nicht da ist. Ansonsten geht bitte in andere Restaurants es ist ein Craus. Das Essen ist okay das Ambiente ist so lala okay aber der neue Mitarbeiter geht gar nicht. Diskutieren nur um etwas was eigentlich klar ist und man’s dann noch mal erklärt hat und noch mal diskutieren wollen nur weil er recht haben will absolutes no go finde wir einen schönen Tag. Euch noch alles Gute. Schade dass ihr so abgenommen habt. Ich bin da immer sehr gern gewesen, allein wegen dem Preisen und weil das Essen sehr gut war. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

,,Frisch, Günstig, Lecker“ : dieser Slogan hat uns ursprünglich in dieses kleine Restaurant gelockt… Das Ambiente des Restaurants war durchschnittlich. Aber die Speisekarte durchaus fragwürdig. Aber wir wollten dem Restaurant dennoch noch eine Chance geben… Das war ein großer Fehler!!! Wir haben 2x vom Mittagsmenü bestellt, und uns nicht von den Bildern der Speisekarten verunsichern lassen. Zudem hatten wir noch Vorspeisen. Dabei handelte es sich um ganz normale TK Frühlingrollen und stark salzige Edamame. Ab einem bestimmten Punkt waren die Edamame nicht mehr genießbar, und das sagen wir als Familie mit chronischem, zu hohen Salzkonsum. Das war noch das erträglichste… Daraufhin kam eine Suppe zum Mittagsmenü hinzu. Dabei handelte es sich um eine mit stärke gestreckte Sweet Chili Sauce mit Hölzer Bambusstücken. Als wir dann unsere Mittagmenüs erblickten standen wir unter Schock, denn diese sahen aus wie aus einer Mittagskantine einer unterbezahlten Pflegestation. Die Bilder haben nicht gelogen! Bei dem Beilagensalat handelte es sich um einen lieblosen Eisbergsalat, ohne Dressig aber dafür mit Röstzwiebeln als Topping. Das Gericht meiner Tocher welches sich als Mamgocurry bezeichnete enthielt nicht einmal einen Hauch von Mango und war sehr bitter im Nachgang. Das Essen meiner Frau war ganz okay aber nichts besonderes. Bei meinem Hähnchen-süß-sauer handelte es sich in Wirklichkeit um kleine Hähnchenstücke in Ananassirup! Im ganzen Gericht kein Korn Salz oder irgendeine Form von Würzung. Ich habe durchs Salzen und das hinzugeben von unterschiedlichen Soßen versuchst das Gericht genießbar zu machen und bin kläglich gescheitert. Am Ende wollten wir noch einmal zu den Toiletten. Ein Wunder das wir dort überhaupt angekommen sind! Die Toiletten sind direkt neben der offenen Küche, welche nur durch einen kleinen, unscheinbaren Raumtrenner getrennt waren. Nach dem heruntergehen der sehr steilen Treppe, landete man direkt in einer Abstellkammer! Wir trauten unseren Augen kaum: vor uns der Blick auf ein benutztes Pissoir. Meine Tochter ist noch immer traumatisiert!!! Die Toilettenkabienen konnte man außerdem nicht abschießen und waren in einem unzumutbaren Zustand… Gottseidank habe ich meine Tochter nach da unten begleitet. Normalerweise schreiben wir keine Bewertungen - Egal wie schlecht das Restaurant ist. Aber davor muss man wirklich warnen. Wir wollen dem Restaurantbesitzer nichts Böses, aber es wäre empfehlenswert den Zustand des Restaurants und die Auswahl der Gerichte zu überdenken. Einmal und nie wieder.

Zum ersten Mal dort gewesen und was zum mitnehmen bestellt. Reisbandnudeln mit Tofu. Das Tofu war ser Geschmackslos, bin ich nicht gewohnt für Vietmanesische Küche. Und alles in einem war das Essen nicht gut gewürzt und einfach nur FETTIG. Wirklich Leute, mein Essen war so FETTIG, es hat einfach wirklich nicht gut geschmeckt. Gar keine anständige Würze oder vielleicht wurde diese einfach nur vom FETT zu stark überdeckt. Wirklich Leute, ich habe nur die halbe Portion gegessen und mein Magen fühlt sich einfach nicht geil an. Vielleicht war das nur eine Ausnahme aber verdammt war das FETTIG.

Spontan dort zu Mittag gegessen. Vorspeise - Hähnchenspiesse mit Erdnusssosse : Topf Hauptgericht: Menü - Suppe und Mangohähnchen, Reis, Salat : Sehr lecker. Dazu Jasmintee Knapp 18 €. Ich war sehr zufrieden und werde sicher dort wieder essen !

Das Essen war köstlich, besonders die Suppe (Gericht Nr. 6) und das Entencurry. Das Lokal ist sehr angenehm und die Preise sind angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Leider hat dieser Laden sehr in den letzten Jahren an Qualität verloren und ist somit an den meisten Tagen leer. Nach meinem letzten Besuch im Jahre 2020 ca., war ich wieder in Hannover und bin mit meinem Partner dort essen gegangen, da ich den Laden in sehr guter Erinnerung hatte. Leider wurden wir komplett enttäuscht. Mein Reis (hatte Ente mit Gemüse und Reis bestellt) war kein Basmati oder Jasminreis, sondern ungewürzter RUNDKORNREIS, der normalerweise für Sushi verwendet wird. Das war wirklich mehr als nur irritierend und alles andere als lecker zu dem Gericht. Mein Partner hat es ähnlich erwischt, er hat gebratene Nudeln bestellt. Diese waren einfach nur gebratene Spaghetti und nich die typischen Asia-Nudeln. Ebenso hat die Hygiene massiv nachgelassen. Die Toiletten sind in einem fragwürdigen und dreckigen Zustand. Da will man gar nicht wissen, wie die Küche aussieht. Ich werde diesen Laden nicht mehr besuchen. Absolut schade, da ich damals sehr gerne ab und zu dort gegessen habe. Qualitativ wird zu stark nachgelassen und billige Zutaten genommen. Schade!

Ich war hier noch nie essen, steht aber ganz oben auf meiner Liste. Die Asia Food Sushi Bar habe ich durch den Youtube Kanal "fabiospov" gefunden.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und es war echt sehr gut. Essen war schnell serviert. Für 2 Gerichte + Suppe + 6 Mini Frühlingsrolle und 2 Getränke haben wir 37€ bezahlt.

Das Restaurant ist klein und die Atmosphäre war in Ordnung. Das Essen war insgesamt durchschnittlich, aber das Hauptproblem war die lange Wartezeit. Wir mussten viel zu lange auf unsere Gerichte warten, und sie wurden im Abstand von etwa zehn Minuten serviert. Dadurch konnten wir nicht zusammen essen, und einige Gerichte waren bereits kalt, als das letzte endlich kam. Die frittierte Banane war ausgezeichnet – eine der besten, die ich je gegessen habe. Der Rest des Essens war nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts Besonderes. Das Sushi war gut.

Wir haben nur positive Erfahrungen in dem Restaurant gemacht. Wir wurden schnell bedient und das Essen war mega lecker 😋 Der Ingwertee ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Die Frau des Inhabers ist sehr zuvorkommend und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Wir haben zu zweit 35 Euro bezahlt wo bekommt man dies noch. Wir kommen wieder🤗

I ate there with a friend two days ago, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. My friend even got food poisoning after eating it. • The wakame salad was almost completely laced with radish – a thin layer of wakame on top, with a huge pile of radish underneath. I've never experienced anything like it. • The chicken fried rice was tasteless – neither the rice nor the chicken were seasoned; it all tasted of nothing. Even the sriracha sauce couldn't save it. • I had baked duck with udon noodles. The duck was tasty, but some of the noodles were stuck together and undercooked, making it inedible. The quality has declined dramatically compared to before (I was last there 2-3 years ago). Back then, the food was really good, but now everything seems to be geared towards maximizing profits. Ingredients are skimped on and diluted, hygiene seems questionable, and the preparation is unprofessional. For the price, this is simply the worst food I've had in Hanover. It's a real shame – it's definitely the last time I eat there. The health department should urgently take a look.

Absolutely outrageous, they just take the tip themselves! Without a word about it, we only saw it later on the receipt. That's completely unacceptable! The sushi is okay, but not good. The chicken in peanut sauce was unfortunately not tasty at all, and the meat tasted really old... I wouldn't come here again.

We were there around 1:00 PM on a Saturday. I had duck with garlic sauce, and my wife had beef with dark sauce. Highly recommended, a great restaurant.

For a whopping €8, a huge portion of duck with rice and fresh vegetables, topped with Peking soup! Absolutely delicious! I thought I was back in the 80s. Unfortunately, the toilets are from that era, too; but I'd go back for dinner anytime!

The food was okay, but the service wasn't so good. I ordered black tea, but I got chamomile tea. When I pointed this out to the server, they didn't apologize and refused to change the tea. I also ordered ice cubes, but I only got three or four. Why? I need ice cubes for my drink.

I didn't like it very much. The menu wasn't attractively designed, the food was too small and undercooked, the peanut sauce was very thin and milky, and there was even a hair in it. It's not expensive, but you can find better options for the same price.

A great restaurant. The food is excellent, freshly prepared, and delicious. The effort put into the preparation is evident in the quality of the food. The price list is affordable. Friendly and attentive service.

Personally, I didn't like the ambiance that much. Everything seemed very hectic and cramped, both inside and outside. The wait staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and unfortunately couldn't answer questions about the menu items. The food itself was of a good standard at current prices. Certainly one of the oldest sushi bars in Hanover's old town, but not my first choice for sushi.

It was a complete disaster. There was hair in the food! (Which, by the way, was denied by the waiter.) The portions were so small that you couldn't fill yourself, but the price was exorbitant! We ordered two small Spezis, and the waiter suddenly showed up with a small and a large one. He didn't want to exchange the large Spezi for a small one, so we had to pay for the large one. What a disgrace!

I was in this restaurant at lunchtime today and ordered the 8 euro lunch menu. The photo showed a whole crispy duck, but what I actually got was just a few small, black pieces of meat that barely looked like duck. When I complained, the waiters and the owner, without warning, swapped the dish for a proper crispy duck - as shown in the picture. But in the end I suddenly had to pay 6 euros extra without being told beforehand! This type of business practice is absolutely unacceptable. Neither the quality of the food nor the transparency of the prices are right here. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant!

Very tasty and fresh sushi. The homemade white sauce you get is also very tasty. It's a bit dark in the restaurant but still cozy.

The service was bad. Staff didn't come to us for a long time and didn't take the order. Neither sugar nor teaspoons were brought with the tea, we had to ask for them. The staff was unfriendly to the guests. The toilet was dark, dirty and in the basement.

Unfortunately not what you expected. The menu seems varied, but the prices at the end are strange. Garlic dish that doesn't taste like garlic. Large Spezi costs one euro more than a large Diet Coke. At least the vegetables seemed fresh. Very small portion of rice. Doesn't have to happen again :(

The price-performance ratio is actually excellent here and apart from the ambience, I can't complain much. The discounted daily/lunch menu is basically always valid and is a good option for typical Asian snack food in Germany.

I didn't get the food I had paid for (to take away), it was just stuffy in there and almost unbearable, unfortunately the food was poor because it was just way too over-seasoned!

If you want to be treated badly, this is the place for you... we were sitting at a table on the street and had just placed most of the order when a group came that the waitress obviously knew. As I spoke, she simply turned away and spoke to the group. I tried to finish my sentence again, but she ignored me. Afterwards she said she needed the table for this group and we could sit somewhere else, the group would like this table on the street. Something would be free next to another couple in the corner or inside. We then left. Absolutely disrespectful and disgraceful.

My friend and I were there on a Monday afternoon. Our waitress was very nice. The sushi was very tasty. We found the Ebi tempura roll with the special sauce particularly tasty (second from top in the picture). The rest of the sushi was really tasty and everything together with 2 large colas cost €29. Would go again and again and would recommend it to everyone 🩷🍣

Very tasty food and nice staff. The ambience is not quite as nice. But the menu makes up for it. It's better on site than taking away. But taking it with you is always tricky anyway.

This was the best sushi I've eaten in a long time. It is authentic and also halal. You don't have to wait long, and the server is nice and fast. I definitely recommend continuing to eat here.

Over rated Sushi Bar. Quality could be improve and abit pricey. Although free toilet to use and is clean. Overall might not be worthwhile to visit again.

It was a real treat. Nothing very surprising, but a huge variety of choices, hot or cold, vegetarian or not, everyone will find what they are looking for. We were welcomed as we should be, the waiters are friendly, helpful and speak English. The price was very reasonable! It's in the middle of a busy street so it's not very quiet outside, but not very noisy either. The atmosphere was family and pleasant.
