Asia China Restaurant in Schwäbisch Hall

It's okay, the food wasn't that special, it felt like everything tasted the same.

We were here today for the first and last time. Because of the good reviews and some recommendations from people who were here years ago (where it was probably good). For all three of us, this was the worst taste experience we have ever had, without exaggerating. And I've been eating Asian food for over 20 years. But today was just indescribably bad. We ordered one dish with beef, one with chicken and one with breading. This was fried sauce dark or lighter depending on the dish. No aroma of any Asian spices or anything like that... We took it with us to let our family members try it at home. They also tried it and replied “how could you possibly eat that”? Then the rest ended up in the trash. Every Asian snack for 5 to 8 euros per dish is worlds better and a taste experience. Well, first and last time anyway.

Today it worked out to eat with you again. Terrific. We will definitely come back. But it's not that easy to drive. Although we would like to. Everything was really good as always. Greetings Peter

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Both ate noodles with vegetables and ordered with tofu. But tofu wasn't there. Our two children ate mini spring rolls and chicken skewers. Together we drank a bottle of water and 2 Hugos and paid €90. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right. And we had to wait a very long time.

Last week we ate at the Asia China Restaurant for the fourth and final time. We decided on a menu, which cost €33.50 per person. is advertised. We also each ordered a simple drink. The menu includes a Peking soup, the main course and dessert. In total we were in the restaurant for 2.5 hours. We were placed in the basement... we didn't find it comfortable here. In addition, there were some seat cushions, cutlery, etc. on a seating area, which was equivalent to a storage area. We received the drinks quite quickly. The juice spritzer I ordered contained hardly any carbon dioxide and was therefore not tangy. Then it took over an hour(!) until we received the starter (Peking soup). The Peking soup was okay and contained a lot of chopped ingredients…. We wouldn't vote for her again. The main course was honestly ridiculous for the price…see picture. (Not included in the picture: large portion of rice, sauce and mini spring rolls.) We were looking forward to a taste experience, but were really disappointed. Apart from the mini spring rolls and the king prawns on toast, there was nothing tasty/out of the ordinary. Also very manageable for two people. However, the vegetables included were crisp and fresh, as is standard for Asians. We weren't even asked if everything was okay. So we couldn't order a drink again. We finished the main course after about 20 minutes... after a total of 2 hours we actively spoke to a waitress, even though she initially wanted to ignore us. Regarding dessert/third course, it is very misleadingly stated on the menu... coffee is listed as an alternative and then various fruits and various ice cream. It is not clear here that you can only choose one thing per person. After another 20 minutes we received the dessert, ate it and then paid immediately. Total more than €75. Conclusion: Price-performance is poor (and no, you can't argue that with increased prices and the quality has also decreased, among other things!) It's also unacceptable how everything is artificially prolonged and wastes time. This isn't the first time.

Waitress made two times a mistake with my order and had the nerve to tell me that I told her wrong! The food came also 1 hour and 43 minutes after we ordered it, even though we were told it will take some time, 1 hour and 43 is really unacceptably long. When the food came it was too salty.

Unfortunately it wasn't a successful evening in the restaurant. The prices are grossly overpriced - in downtown Munich the quality costs less than half and we waited over 90 minutes for the food. The quality is not special and the price/performance ratio is not right

Totally overpriced prices which do not justify inflation and VAT of 19%. Average dish around 20€, if you only manage half and want to take the other half with you for the next day, 2€ is due, i.e. 10% of the dish. Absolutely no go. Was my last visit there.

This Asian restaurant has a stylish Chinese interior. Unfortunately, the “beer garden” is a bit bland. With a high-priced menu, you also expect a comfortable and nice place to sit outside. Nevertheless, we would recommend this restaurant. The service did what a service has to do. We were served quickly. Without many words. The highlight of the restaurant was the food. Two times duck spicy. Numbers 42 and 44. The duck was the same both times, only the sauce, served separately, varied. I wouldn't use the word spicy for either dish. But there was a spice rack on each table so you could adjust the spiciness to your own taste. Each duck dish cost €24.50.

Unfortunately I didn't particularly like the food, but that doesn't mean it was bad, it just wasn't to my taste! But you have to be honest and say that the restaurant was very clean. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏿

Unfortunately we didn't like it at all. But as we all know, taste is debatable. We wanted to take the leftovers with us for our animals - they charged €2 for each pack we took with us. I found it very rude.

Food very tasty and a lot on the plate... service friendly and accommodating. View is a dream, you can look over Schwäbisch Hall. Highly recommended... we'll be back.

You have a huge selection on the memory card and everything is great. Service is also very nice and they have a great beer garden, top notch

Food as always “bomb”, a must when I visit home

We used to love being here incredibly much. With children and increased prices, a visit to a restaurant has become something special. It's even worse when you leave the restaurant with a bad feeling. First of all: The food was, as before, very, very good. The prices and size of the children's portions are exceptionally fair. As for the rest: Prices understandably had to be adjusted. It was always a bit more expensive here, but the dining experience was good. Today it has become enormously more expensive and there is no trace of the gastronomic experience. Long waiting times for drinks, food, etc. Very bad service. In times of environmental awareness and securing raw materials, asking for an extra €2 per meal (per small container) to take home because the children couldn't make it is more than cheeky. Last but not least: in the past, guests always got a bargain or plum wine - that was a nice touch that made for a great ending. Of course it's not a must, but the last impression is as important as the first and so it was the final nail in the coffin for us that made us regret the "gastronomic experience" and accompanied us home with a very bad feeling. Conclusion: Dennis, I still like you. Unfortunately, your Asian restaurant will not see us again. The good food simply cannot take away the remaining impressions. A pity. EDIT: After the slack and the answer, I would like to change the recession; We were very disappointed and since Asia was always “the address” for us, where we always felt comfortable, it hurt twice as much. However, things are not easy for guests and restaurateurs in these times and eating out is now a luxury - expectations are correspondingly higher. Nevertheless, you shouldn't measure with the standards of "pre-Corona", but you have to make a comparison with the current situation and with other restaurants in the IST period. It feels unfair to only give three stars here. And if times get better again, I hope to prove the lie to the conclusion!

Always very good food and service. However, the prices are now too high. The meat has recently been left out of the spring rolls. Do you make more profit this way?

We had 3 different dishes with chicken unbreaded and breaded, lobster crab, beef. Unfortunately there was no fried noodles and no fried rice. Just regular white rice. Food is tasty, solid, no special taste experience. The vegetables were mostly bok choy and some greens. The sauces are served separately. However, spicy is not particularly spicy. But there is sambal olek at the table. Service was friendly and quick. Prices are very high. Packaging for takeaway food costs 2 euros. Ambiance is typically Asian.

Hello everyone, I was here 3 days ago and when we were eating we ran out of food, The staff of this restaurant told us very badly that it closes at 8pm, my friend wanted another drink because he was drunk, but the staff there didn't want to give it to us and wanted to throw us out. The staff of this restaurant yelled at me and my friend and the person who was a customer and was eating there looked at us. And please don't do this to the next customer.

A rating is always very subjective, I have no resentment against this restaurant but I am surprised about 5 star reviews. First of all, the service was great, we could definitely have stopped by more often - it's hard to eat when you're thirsty, otherwise it's really nice and friendly. The ambience, depending on where you sit, ranges from authentic to kitschy but appropriate. We were a little disappointed with the food. For me, chicken soup isn't chicken soup, boiling a little meat with water isn't necessarily culinary art - that's not what I eat out for. Then the large spring roll - identical to the spring rolls from the snack bar, which I find questionable for a restaurant. The main course: half a duck breast and half a breaded chicken fillet on bamboo shoots and pak choi, with a sauce served separately with rice. The taste was okay - the meat actually hardly stood out from the snack. The soup 6.00 euros, the spring roll 5.90 euros and the main course 24.00 euros - not an outlier in terms of taste but about twice as much as before. ask for a snack. The price and performance are not right for me. We spent around 45 euros per person - I probably won't be able to do it again next time. All in all, max. 3 stars - nothing more.

Very tasty food, very friendly staff, unfortunately it was very cool and drafty in the restaurant.

We were invited to the journeyman's examination dinner on February 24th, 2024. We were very pleased. Our expectations were exceeded in every respect. Food was very tasty. Ambience was great. Prices justified. There was a small mistake when ordering. My stepson also ordered soup, but it somehow got lost. But not that bad, it was really a very nice evening. Will definitely come back.

Unfortunately, the mini spring rolls had a sauce that wasn't sweet and sour as it says, but extremely spicy, and the main meal afterwards was just the same...everything was given back. Had 4 dishes including cast iron with beef but everything was way too spicy. Beef with onions was just fine. Then 4 people ate out to get their fill without burning their throats. Chicken with vegetables, on the other hand, was too bland and had a totally lackluster taste. Conclusion...sorry...not necessarily again but tastes are different. Price performance too expensive. All 4 people were disappointed.

We had reserved a table and were in the restaurant for the first time. When we ordered, we noticed the prices were very negative. On average, you pay 10 euros more per main dish here than at competitors. In addition, we had to wait 1 hour for the soup and 1.5 hours for the main course. It is certainly understandable that prices in the catering industry have increased due to the VAT changes, but we find these prices to be excessive, especially since other providers are noticeably cheaper with adequate quality. That's why unfortunately there are only 2 points.

Tolles Essen, super Ambiente und sehr schneller Service! Würde jederzeit wieder kommen :)

Das beste China Restaurant seit langem eine super Küche und tolles Personal.

Hallo, hier kann man gut speisen. Die Gerichte werden gut präsentiert an den Tisch gebracht und geschmacklich ist es auch echt gut. Das Ambiente ist passenden gestaltet. Preislich ist das ganze im normalen dafür angemessen Bereich.

Hier bekommt man sein Essen seit Jahren in gewohnter Qualität und Freundlichkeit serviert das man gerne wieder kommt.

Waren gestern mit 11 Personen (davon 9 asiatische Mitbürger ) essen. Sehr aufmerksames Personal unter der Führung von der juniorchefin .Biergarten war voll besetzt und trotzdem immer ein Auge auf jeden Tisch. Essen war reichlich und sehr 👍 gut . Können Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen. Zu manchen Kommentaren wegen des Preises kann ich nur sagen das sind solche Leute wo unsere Wirtschaft durch ihre Streiks und horrende lohnforderungen lahmlegen und die hart arbeitenden Menschen in der Gastronomie keinen funken Respekt zollen.Auch diese Leute haben haben mit den gestiegenen Lohn und materialkosten sowie den hohen Energiepreise zu kämpfen. Mit allen guten Wünschen für die Zukunft an das Team vom Asia macht weiter so!!! Werner Hornberger

War mit meiner Frau dort Essen, kamen mit Getränken, Nachtisch bei 47,50 € raus. Rest wurde eingepackt und beide waren sehr glücklich mit dem Essen :)

Ein Besuch wert, die Gerichte sind außergewöhnlich gut abgestimmt. Mein Lob an die Küche.

Wir waren schon oft dort, und wir waren jedes Mal zufrieden. Das Essen ist gut und reichhaltig. Und genau das wurde heute zum Problem. Als ich darum bat, dass wir das nicht gegessene Essen gerne mitnehmen möchten (ich sehe das erstens als Respektsbekundung dem Koch und zweitens dem Lebensmittel gegenüber) verlangte man für einen Alu-Einwehbehälter sage und schreibe 2 Euro. Diese Behälter kosten keine 50 Cent. Nota bene: wir waren zu sechst und die Rechnung war deutlich über 200 Euro. Ich empfehle dringend (!), dieses Vorgehen einer Prüfung zu unterziehen. Ich werde die nächste Tischreservierung mit der Frage kombinieren, ob sich am diesem Sachverhalt etwas geändert hat. Wenn nicht wird dieses Restaurant auf uns künftig verzichten müssen, was eigentlich schade wäre...

Schnellimbis Qualität (Preis eher gehoben. 2 Erw. 2 Ki = 105€), wir wurden praktisch 30 min vor Schließung "rausgeschmissen" jede Minute stand jemand am Platz. Das übrige Essen kann zwar mitgenommen werden aber für eine 15 Cent Alu Schale zahlt man 2 EUR!! Hier werden wir sicherlich nicht mehr essen. Schade

Leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung. Die Kunststoffstäbchen sind leider nicht so der Hit. Gab auch leider keinen großen Teller für den Hauptgang.

Ich ärgere mich jedes Mal wenn ich dort anrufe! Entweder man legt einfach auf, weil m,an eine Frage hat oder man bekommt eine Abholzeit wo normale Menschen schlafen gehen. Ich freue mich für jeden der wohl genug Arbeiut hat ABER dann bitte keinen Abholservice anbieten.

Wir gehen seit über 20 Jahre in dieses Restaurant und seit ich denken kann, ist es mein Lieblingsort! Die Bedienung ist freundlich, insbesondere die Besitzerfamilie, mit der ich sozusagen aufgewachsen bin und das Essen ist jedes einzelne Mal himmlisch. Die Nummern der Lieblingsgerichte kennen wir inzwischen auswendig und empfehlen es ständig weiter. Vielen Dank für jeden tollen Besuch!

Seit einigen Jahren mal wieder im Asia essen gewesen. War früher wirklich gut. Dieses Mal hat es uns nicht geschmeckt. Gebratene Nudeln waren trocken. Die Soßen zu den Gerichten mit Ente waren nicht lecker. Das vegetarische Gericht war ok. Bei dem Preis musste die Qualität besser sein. Da gehen wir wohl nicht mehr hin.

Bedienung ausgesprochen schnell und umsichtig, leider das Essen nicht mehr so gut wie vor einigen Jahren. Geschmacklich austauschbar, die typische " China-Würze" war kaum da, na dann brauche ich auch nicht zum Chinesen essen gehen....

Sehr schönes und leckeres Asia Rest. Super schöne klassische Einrichtung und im Sommer schöne Plätze draußen mit spektakulärer Aussicht. Sehr nettes Personal und angemessene Preise. Besonders den Mittagstisch bzw. die Mittagskarte kann ich auch sehr empfehlen.

Definitiv nicht günstig! Die Preise für Standart Gerichte sind meiner Meinung nach alle sehr hoch. Die Enten-Gerichte mit Reis als Beilage liegen bei 20€. Bei alternativen Beilagen wird direkt ein Aufpreis von 6€ berechnet. Dafür hätte ich ehrlich gesagt mehr erwartet - zumal meine Soße leider erst kam, als ich meine Ente schon halb gegessen hatte. Geschmacklich ok aber auch nichts besonders. Da bin ich leider besseres für günstigere Preise gewohnt. Nachtrag nach der Antwort des Inhabers: Die Soße wurde in der Küche vergessen und kam erst nach 10 Minuten trotz Nachfrage. Aber danke fürs Feedback

Ich kann mich daran erinnern, dass wir vor einigen Jahren mal dort waren und das Essen mega lecker war. Leider hat mir diesmal irgendwie die typische Würze gefehlt. Hätte alles sein können. Entschuldigung, so 0-8-15 fand ich nicht so toll. Bedienung war aber flott, höflich und umsichtig, von dem her hat es schon gepasst.

Super leckeres Essen!! Für uns Vegan. Auf anfrage ohne glutamat. Sehr nettes Personal, schöne Terasse, große auswahl an Tees. Wirklich zu empfehlen!

Ich gebe noch zwei Sterne dazu Sagenhaftes Essen Beschäftigte immer wieder da und haben gefragt ob wir noch was brauchen Absolut empfehlenswert da müsst ihr hin gehen
